one, Welcome all. What chaos, what beautiful chaos. As we enter the food court here on ninety seven, won the Freak, I Mike's roy The standing bailis second Turners here, JJ Jackson is here. Christina Ray, the hot delivery girl has just arrived with the main course. When we get to that in just one hot second. Food court has many features all about food, much of it in DFW, and we'd like to start with fresh from the Kitchen today's food news. We have openings of new restaurants. We

had all sorts of things going on. One of them that I know you guys knew about, and I know bennings Kin mentioned it yesterday. We have a pizza coming to town that apparently is a big deal. And there are people listening to this that know this pizza chain. I've never heard of it. Shockingly enough, but we have a restaurant called Donato's Pizza. They've announced this month they're planning to enter our region by opening twenty new locations across DFW

starting this year twenty twenty four. This is an Ohio based company that serves pizza, sub salads, and wings at over four hundred and sixty locations across twenty nine states. But they're coming here, coming to DFW. Have we heard of it? Have we tried the NATO's pizza? Never heard, never tried. This is a Midwest thing. Yeah, Ohio company, you said, Ohio twenty nine states though, So they're big. This is a big chain. This is this is on the level of your Papa John's Pizza Hut

Dominoes. So I would you know, I don't not knowing anything about them, and just looking at their menu and the photos of their food, I'm thinking that this is going to probably be the quality that you would expect. I wouldn't expect much more than what you would get from those affordable pizza Yeah, you know, mass produced chain pizza. The photos look like what you

would get from one of those spots. It looks thin crust as I think their base and their toppings go all the way to the edge of this delicious thin crust it appears. Yeah, there's the slogan is every bite Matters or something. Yeah, like if you ever go to ENO's and Bishop Arts, it kind of looks like that sort of a pie. If you get the thin or if you get like the Domino's thin crust. It does sort of appear. But look, it's a press photo, but that pizza looks delicious.

Every piece is important, Danny, Every piece is important. I mean so, I guess they're huge Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Florida with a covert. Look at that pepperoni pizza. My god, hey man, couldn't fit another one on there. No Midwesterners know how to eat. I'll give it a shot. Their expansion of Texas touts at twenty new locations a result of partnerships with four new franchise groups. They have this big press release. Oh, they're excited to enter the vibrant state of Texas.

They say it is vibrant. So yeah, I don't know. If you're a Midwesterner and you grew up on Donato's pizza, good news for you because it is coming to town. Also back in town, I remember, like last year, I was kind of bummed, and I think it was Dinghu's Morning News that delivered the news that Saint Martin's Wine Bistro had closed, the legendary restaurant on Greenville Avenue. You remember that Dinger, I do the French restaurant that is has been a Dallas icon for years. It's like I

always described it as old school. It looks like a place that a mobster would hang out in the seventies. Well, it closed last year their original location on Greenville Avenue, and many were left to wonder if we'd ever sip champagne breeze soup by candle light in Dallas. Again, that is verbatim what young Sarah Blaskovich wondered in her article dated today. But good news, there's one on Bryant Street. Saint Martin's wineby shows back. They relocated, They

relocated, and they're open. They opened on March eleven. Okay, I didn't even know that. I knew it was right around the corner. I was talking to somebody that runs a business over in that area, and they said it was real close to opening up. If you'd driven by there anytime in the last month or so, you'd seen all the signage up, And it looks just like it did. And I've heard by all accounts that if

you go inside, it looks and feels just like the original location. It's certainly modeled after the og, but Sarah says it looks better at the original version, there is a large piano on a little red carpeted stage. I guess, just like the original. I've never been to the original. I've driven by it. It's a rite of passage if you live in the city, and it's a it's a shame that most people like talk to are like, oh, yeah, I'm aware of that place, but I've never been

there. And I was one of those people until I said, you know what, I'm going to need to try it. It's a block from my house. I should at least try it, and went in there on a date night one night and it was incredible. This was years ago, and it's been a go to since I lived by it, and I've passed it, and I always was intimidated by it because Saint Martin Winebistro is just a scary sounding name and I had that dark look. I feel like I need

a jacket, which I don't really have one that fits right now. Uh, And you said it's that's not exactly the case. No, not at all. Day is there any I mean, there are a couple places, but there's a really restaurant dress codes about anywhere, and it's a place that you'll you'll want to look. You don't want to go looking like we do right now in big, big green pants and a hoodie. But yeah, you want to dress fairly decent. But it's the service. I mean,

it is impeccable service. I mean they recommend great wines, they're very knowledgeable. This, they on site, somalier, all of that. And the food is what you would want from a great French restaurant. Yeah, it's all the classics. But that Bree soup, it's insane, insane. They muscles, their steaks are incredible, all of it prepared with obviously very rich ingredients. Kevin, We've ever been to a nice restaurant. I've been to many nice restaurants. I've never been to a nice beestro nice one. Give

me muscles and line them up with that crusty bread. Yes please, it's sign for the main course. We had a food delivery for all of us here, and I'm gonna tell you all about it as we dippy this up now again. Our side project here is we want to send the greatest TikTok ever since we're working on we know food matters, but what do we do right now? It's not for us to eat and drink some of this stuff, but you need to get video of it before it's consumed. So how

are we gonna handle this? I think we all we'll do it ourselves. Keep it in portrait mode, quick cuts of the food, send it to send them all to Kevin and he's going to compile and I'll help Mikey will help figure it out. Graphics, songs. We're gonna make the best TikTok of all time, millions of views, tens of millions, but it needs to be between twenty one and thirty four seconds. Easy, all right? So what Kevin do you mind? I kind of separated what I think those

to who those two are yours? Kevin? Well, yeah, we got all kinds of stuff. We or a bunch of stuff broh, because we ordered Cosmics. So let me tell you about Cosmics. And it's called cos MC's and that mc is obviously linked to McDonald's, of which there are tens of thousands of restaurants here in the USA, but there are only two of this particular restaurant, and we have one of them. Cosmics is the place.

Cosmic is one of the original McDonaldland characters appearing in McDonald's advertisements in the late eighties and very early nineties cosmic and extra terrestrial Who craves McDonald Donald's food now the only original one the only other Cosmics in the United States launched on December seventh, twenty twenty three. It was a drive through only concept location in Chicago, Chicago's suburb village of Bowling Brook, Illinois. So they opened

one just outside of Chicago again in December of last year. And then their next phase is straight up Texas. They're opening nine locations of Cosmics all throughout Texas in twenty twenty four. They plan to have ten operational stores total by the end of this year, nine of them in Texas. So we are their test zone, no doubt. And McDonald's CEO said the company's going to evaluate the ten stores over the year twenty twenty four, and he did add,

let's not get too excited now. Their dream honestly with this is the take on Starbucks, you know, I mean, Starbucks is one of the only chains that that comes anywhere close to having as many successful locations as McDonald So I guess Subway might be in that category as well. But they're taking a swing at this and they're letting us Texans decide if this is a go or this is a no go. Cosmics intends to sell afternoon snacks, drinks, and coffee. And again, it has been seen as an attempt by

McDonald's to enter the United States coffee market. They've been doing that obviously a long time with the McCafe stuff at original McDonald's locations. But this is a coffee centric, drink centric store. Now it's not just coffee. They have all these like sour lemonade drinks and whatnot. And we wanted to try it, right, We'll give using a shot. I think it's kind of interesting that something as big as McDonald's has two of these in the entire United States,

and we have one that's ten minutes from our studios. We figured we'd try it out right, absolutely all right, what do you guys have tell you that I did experience this with no food on Saturday. You just did drinks. I just did a drink. Okay, so I online just a kiosk indoors, no dining in. You just go up and you like you're at a boba place, you know. And that is what Christina did. Uh, she just went and picked it up for us, used the kiosk,

and she said it wasn't that crowded. Not too many people in there. He said, everyone was incredibly nice. And uh, and here we are, so I don't know. Somebody has the Danny. You have the creamy avocado tomatillo sandwich. I do. Uh. It appears to be and I asked for no egg right in the middle of it. Egg, you know, in the track. One of the few people up here that will actually on occasion eat egg. I'm not a fan, but I'll, you know, take one for the team. It appears to have some type of

cheese. It's got bacon, it's got egg, It's got a tiny little dollup of what appears to be an avocado tomatillo thing. Ah, let's let's jump in. Shall we shove it? Are you read it? In your mouth? In your mouth? Dude? This is Dandy Baylis trying the cosmics creamy avocado tomatillo sandwich. He's kind of nodding his head. He's got his hand out sort of a huh okay, okay, it's what you expect. McDonald's eggs, McDonald's bacon. The bun is different. I think the because

McMuffin is on a English muffin. This is a this is a nice brioche bun. Yeah. I like this very and the toe maatillo adds a nice zesty zinge to it. Kevin, Oh, it's brilliant. Yeah. Not bad, Okay, not bad, No, I mean better than McDonald's. Oh yeah for sure. Oh really yeah, most definitely higher quality than your ravers McDonald's Bakfast, which I love, by the way, And I also got the breakfast savory hash brown bites. Okay, I try one of those.

Yeah, please let me get a video of these real quick. But yeah, fortok. These look a little more elevated than your normal they're bigger McDonald's hash browns. They're they're well, no, they're smaller than a McDonald's hash brown Yeah, they're like little little silver dollar sized hash brown bytes. Yeah. Yeah, they look interesting, all right, Safrey is a big question, Daniy'll try that a minute, Kevin. In your hand, I

believe you're holding the spicy caeso sandwich. It's the spicy quaso sandwich. No egg on mine, and no egg arrived, so they got right, get that one right. It is like Danny said the same bun. There almost a square bottom, toasted very nicely a little bit. There's a piece of what appears to be white cheese, so I guess that's a jack cheese of some short sort. Maybe it's some pepper jack, though I don't see that white cheese. There's a sausage patty. Then there's some fried pickies. Okay,

yeah, those appear to be fried pickles, no Tommy's. And then there's a on with that is the spicy quaso sALS. Oh, there's that. We're being told that there are fried halipinos, not fried pickies. Fried halipinos, okay, basically anything. So I piece it together and now I will take a big chunk out of it. We look forward to that. He's he's bitten into the food. Mm hmm. He's thinking. So the sauce, M is it spicy? What are you feeling? How do you

feel when you put it in your money? I won't say spicy yet. Oh, now it's coming, it is there, it is, It came, Okay, it came big. At the end of the bite there thumbs upper, thumbs down. Very good, that's good, and I would agree, But that is sounds better than your your standard McDonald's breakfast, which is good in itself if you're looking for a little kick to start your morning, or maybe it's a lunch option. I'm sensing that more than your standard breakfast.

Fair, but I don't really like spice in my breakfast. Thumbs down, Kevin, that's thumb it is physically do it. I'm videoing you. Just to be clear. We have no relationship with Boss Mix, so we're not blowing smoke here. We're legit trying this because we figured it's the first one in the state of Texas, second in the United States America, and we want to try this bad boy out. It looks like everybody's happy. I are so good. I'm not gonna eat mine live. But I got

a essentially to try this, a sausage and cheese McMuffin. So I don't know if it's exactly the same as McDonald or if this one's even better. We also have mixed bag mcpops yep ready or mixed bag mcpops. Now, this seems to be like the dessert thing. There seems to be three I don't know, like a little mini donuts, and there's stuff with flavor. Let me get these out of here. Do you want one of these hash browns? Rights? Hash brown bite? All right, So drinks are a huge player for them too. I got a regular mocha. Somebody has a turmeric yes, spice. I do have a turmeric spiced latte. Yeah. Should we hit that bad boy? Uh? Sif that Kevin? You're sipping on the medium protein beach frappe. That's what I imagine something else would taste, like, why are you making that face? What do you got in there? Jj? We got your breakfast too. Yeah. I got the spicy sandwich that Kevin got and which

I do like you do like it. I don't think it's that. I don't think it's that spicy. I think it's flavor. Yeah, it's a little flavorful spice to it with the jalapeno chips. And then I got a coffee which is a little bitter. I thought it'd be sweeter. What kind of coffee was it? The ice smoker? Oh, ice smoke up? Yeah? And then then the photo it had whipped cream and mine does it? So I don't know we think of that. Okay? Uh? The hash brown bite Okay, solid now I do prefer the hash brown stick from

you know, McDonald's. The actual hash for not the stick water bird is hashbrown sticks, but the actual hash brown from McDonald's. Over the bite, I'll say that. Oh no, I'm on team bite everybody. Yeah, so far wild crap, because it's time for fast food. Whizz all about food. I don't care who yells what, just yell answers. If you like, nothing matters at all.
