It's been a big week for allegations. He's been piling up. It's really crazy because these are the type of things where, first of all, you never really know a lot of he said, she said, situations going on in lawsuits. And this has been very prevalent really since twenty seventeen of late, and that's when
the Me Too movement kind of started. Things like that. And then as an aside, you do have a couple of stories in the sports world as well, and that's where I'm gonna start. I'm gonna start with our friend in Oklahoma City. Can I pause? Yes, I want to just have a positioning statement. They generally, I mean not even generally speaking, I am waiting for all information and facts to come in and I'm not gonna overreact
to any initial allegation that's made. And I think that's something that everyone should probably try to do because you hear some solicious allegations and immediately you think the worst, assume it's true, and then, whether or not, be publicly or in your own head, apply the scarlet letter to the person who was alleged against and that it is really not fair now not saying that they're not guilty. And yes, there's probably hints of truth to any of these things
you're about to say, but I don't know. I feel like nowadays, if you just say something out loud allege it, that person has to then wear it. And that's not fair, it's not But the reason so the Just Giddy Stories where we will begin here it's our first stop Okay, Oklahoma City point Guard. But before we get to that, what does the name Wander Franco mean to you? Uh? Is that our Atlanta Brave? That is our Tampa Bay Ray Oh yeah, no Star who was placed on leave
at the end of their season. Towards the end of their season amid allegations of an under relationship and that's it was the proof more than one or there are rumors of more than one over time, but still no proof. But he did not play. He's had a huge deal with the Rays and then missed the last month and a half of the season and the playoffs because they
said you gots to go. Well, I think that in that case, if the team is willing to suspend a player, they have more information than merely an allegation that shows up on a crappy website, And in that case, then yes, I tend to support it. I mean, if if they believe strongly enough that they need this dude off the team, away from us, I feel like they've probably done due diligence enough to to make that
decision, you know what I mean. Yeah, so I don't know what it is, but obviously they're concerned enough to say get the hell out of here, and they must have had pretty good feeling on it than a second person had come forward. But right, you know, that was in August, still kind of unresolved, like they might be going in the next season. We might not know. Josh Giddy over Thanksgiving holiday. The question could be as simple as this, what did Josh Giddy do officially nothing right now.
The NBA is looking into allegations that he had an improper relationship with an underage girl. It's just an investigation. He has still been playing. There's no police involvement. There have been no charges filed. But there was a deleted post. An anonymous social media user set a girl who is seen with Giddy in these videos. And I've got the videos in the photos, you know, pulled up and she looks like she could be fifteen, she looks like she could be twenty one. So what do you do in that case?
I don't really know. And the idea the anonymous social media user anyone says that this is a high school junior at the time of the and he's hugging her. He's got his hand or arms around her neck, yeah kind of, and they appear to be, you know, hitting it off, and it's on I think her snapchat or ig and at the bottom she makes a declarative statement that Kevin will read, Uh oh what what what is it?
It says, I just ft Josh Giddy did. Really I missed that part that's at the bottom of the picture when they're both kind of shirtless, and embracing if if there's any question about what had happened in that Wow tell or whatever it was. But again, it is the thought that she is underage. Is that only from one person's post, like I don't I don't know, it's from one's anonymous social media account that has been deactivated, and no one else. I mean, how it's been a week. No one
is confirming that this girl is in high school right now. We're fifteen years old. Because one hundred percent, if that's confirmed, which can't be all that hard, he should not be on the team and not be playing right now. So he got asked about it after Friday night's game, he got asked about or after Saturday's game, he got asked about it by the media, and he said, I understand the question, obviously, but he said,
no further comment right now. And then again he said, no, I get the question, guys, I completely understand you guys want to know about it, just for right now. I don't have anything to say. And then he went out and did what Josh Giddy does. Got fourteen points, ten rebounds, ten assist, a triple double machine. I must disclose this is a unique case for me personally because I am, prior to a
week ago, a very big supporter in all things Josh Giddy. I have the largest personal collection of any cards of any athlete is of Josh Giddy. So generally, when I see Josh Giddy pop up his trendingger in my news feet, I'm very excited. I'm like, oh, oh, is that another triple double for the young man? The young Australian drafted sixth overall in the twenty twenty one draft, who I think is youngest player in NBA history to have a triple double. He's really really good on the court. He
turned twenty one in October of this year. He's very young still, so this was weird. And look, I'm not if it's true, then kick him off the team. I'm not arguing for my card value here, but I am surprised that it's been a full week and this doesn't seem like the hardest case in America to crack. Who is this girl? What's her current age? Now? I will say that I believe in Oklahoma it's sixteen years old? Is the uh? I'm seeing eighteen in Oklahoma legal age of a
minor in Oklahoma. I the age of majority is eighteen. Age of majority. But if you if you type in age of consent Oklahoma age of consent, yeah, sixteen years old? Well then age of consent and a sixteen sixteen, this means it's illegal for a minor fifteen or younger to have a consensual sex with adult whos at least eighteen whatever. I don't know. It's it's weird either way, but is it less weird if it's legal? It's also is it less weird if he's twenty one like you said, and not
twenty five? Yes, he is for one month twenty one years old, then you get it. Who knows? But was he in Oklahoma too? Okay, no, that's well if it happened in Twitter says it happened in California and it is eighteen there, so yes, no different story. But Twitter said that in Twitter also said the girl's fifteen, neither of which you have any idea if it's true, and that Twitter account again is deleted.
That from the person who posted that. But the other side of that coin is if they found out she wasn't fifteen, they'd be screaming that and he wouldn't in front of a microphone be saying, Oh, I don't want to talk about her. I can't talk about it right now. He is like the Thunder would have if she was fifteen, the Thunder, much like you said with Wander Franco, they would they would know, and he wouldn't play, and this would be a This would the allegation train station would be heading
to a far more significant stop. Now. He has a forty million dollar sponsorship deal with wheat Bis, an Australian serial brand, and they are basically they've removed him from their social media accounts, and their spokesperson said, how, we're just waiting for more details to come down. We're aware of the news, We're waiting for facts to be confirmed. We're in contact with his
management, so he can lose money from a sponsorship standpoint as well. But the fact that they're letting him still play, dude, who am I Dude? Maybe they're like, this guy's gonna get got we need to get as many games with him as we can now because he's gonna get suspended. I want to think their organizations probably think a little more big picture than that.
Yeah, they may not if they believed he actually did that with a fifteen year old he wouldn't be playing, and they it's been enough time to where I think they know what at least they believe. And someone just text in apparently the girl in the just f Josh Giddy isn't the same girl he met in the club. So it's not even the same, you know, according to this guy on text. So I don't know. But if she's eighteen, if whoever this girl is is eighteen, he's twenty one, we have
zero problems, right, no problems at all, whatsoever. No, Well, if she's seventeen, I don't know, man, then lock him up and they're technically a little But if she is consenting, isn't there a gap area if you're seventeen, I don't know. I don't know. So there's a bunch of high profile lawsuits. Oh stop too,
acciding, exiting, I don't even know what they say. Well, we're moving on to the Q train. So a bunch of high profile figures were sued ahead of a deadline last week. It's in New York. There's a law that is called the Adult Survivors Act, and this is an act that opened up the window for sexual misconduct claims for one year, so basically extended if you have a sexual misconduct if you hit it by this deadline,
it opens up another year and removes the statute of limitations. And a bunch of lawsuits hit at the same time to beat this deadline last week on Thanksgiving. The biggest names involved is there are many. We'll start with Sean p Diddy, Puffy Combs. He's he's puff Daddy to me, so we're just gonna call him puff Daddy. I know a lot of people had a Pee Diddy era with him or just Puffy. He's shown Puffy Combs to me, he's a nasty bit, and he might be a nasty bit, but now
he's just Diddy. I was just Diddy, boy. That's changed a few times. Puffy is a weird name that he's somehow he pulled off and kind of made cool. He was, Yeah, I've been pretty cool. Puff Daddy, Puff Daddy like puff Yeah. I don't know, right, thought that boy and all those West Coast day those West Coast guys thought he was such a fraud. Really, they thought he was such a phony. So Daddy his former partner Cassie Ventura, alleged that he raped, sex traffic and
abused her. She followed a thirty million dollar lawsuit. It was settled the next day for noses closed amount of money. And I was shocked. I was on vacation in New York with this, but I was like, I thought she was going to fight this, and she said no, we settled real quick. What was the word on the street when you're in New York so I know that's a hotbed for this sort of thing. Were you talking to people? They said? Well, the things I was hearing was we've
seen this coming for a long time with puff p Diddy Daddy. Yeah. Sean Combs, his lawyer, said, especially in twenty twenty three, This is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Like what does the year matter? Because we're six years supposed to be too? Is that why? I don't know? It was twenty two y three matter? But then another woman
came out. Her name is Joy Dickerson, and she follow the lawsuits, saying that puff Daddy drugged and sexually assaulted her when she was attending Syracuse in nineteen ninety one, thirty two years She said she went to dinner with him and they met at a restaurant in Harlan and then he intentionally drugged her and then she was not able to stand or walk. They drove to a music studio, she couldn't get out of the car because she was passed out,
and he took her to a place where he was staying. He sexually assaulted her there. She also said she had the courage to do this because of the case with Cassie Ventura, his former partner who settled with him. That gave her the courage to do this, which is fine now. Days later a male friend, this is after the assault in nineteen ninety one. One of her male friends was DeVante Swing. He is a member of the group Jodasy right Jodasy. She claims that this guy from Jodasy revealed to her that
he viewed a sex tape with her in it. So the idea would be that Puffy sexually assaulted her and filmed it and then was shown it to his bros. But that's thirty two years ago, So what do you even do? Yeah, I just don't know. And when I mean, when did the case with the other girl come out recently, Claudia Cassie Cassie, I believe that was in the last ten years. Okay, yeah, I think
it was twenty sixteen, Yeah, twenty sixteen. So this girls saying that that case gave her the yes, courage to come out with this now when more of these lawsuits happened, sometimes they tried to add a little flair to it, a little drama, and I don't know if it's always it's a believable moment to me, because she said that she worked in the music industry for a while, she rented to him. At a party, he backed her into a corner confronted her because she had been like saying, hey,
yeah, he did this to me. She was talking and then he got on his hands and knees and was begging her and saying, what you're saying I did is wrong. And I don't know if Puff Daddy would do that at a party maybe wrong too, got on his hands and knees and started begging the things you're saying are not true. Did that happen? I don't know. There's some things about Diddy that will really this has been rumored for a long about him, rumored for a long time. There's a lot like
parties that he throws and you know the or or. Yeah, there's been a few things that have been He's got a reputation panteaed about over the years. Yeah, well he and there's a handful of people that reach whatever level and they have this god complex. Yeah, and he definitely is one. I mean he for sure. I mean Kanye literally thinks he's a god. I believe Puffy is probably not too far behind that on his opinion of himself. And when you're a god, that includes way above the law on these
sorts of matters. I think the movie Get Him to the Greek holds up very well right now with him and Russell Brand and Jonah Hill. Oh no, quickly, let's one more stop. In another suit, former model Sheila Kelly accused Axel Rose of raping her in nineteen eighty nine, and that guy thrown out this week. That was a lawsuit that was filed this week. She said he trapped her in his hotel room. And you know, Raper, how do you even start? I don't know, because yes, that
sounds terrible. Sure, at nineteen eighty nine, Axl Rose. Maybe I don't know, but why now, because like forty years or thirty five years later, Cuba Gooding Junior, there's one in sim This is not rape. This was just more forcibly kissing and gropinge. Fox accused of groping a woman in twenty fifteen, alleged he cornered her at a place called Catch in New York before he slid his hands into her pants. But again twenty fifteen,
Jamie Foxx filed this lawsuit. All these lawsuits hit at the deadline and final hour. What was the deadline again? Why? Because it's a new act in New York called the Adult Uh what's it called the New York Adult Survivors Act. Yeah. Also, former CEO of Interscope Records Music mogul Jimmy Iovin as well accused of sexual assault over something that took place in twousand and seven. So it's this act. If you got this, it's a new act, and if you got the if you filed this, it extends a window
of investigation and removes the statute of limitations. There was actually one of involving Bill Cosby, believe it or not, who somehow is out of prison. How is it really how there was over forty and people in the comedy were hannibal burst, I mean out at him. So like at some point it's like, yeah, we know this happens with him. Yeah, and he's still out and there's another one on him. But all these hit at the
final hour of this deadline last week in New York. It's insane and I don't even have to think about it because there's it was all just lawyers meeting a deadline here. This could be cases that they've been trying to get for, you know, been trying to rap for years. You know, we don't know, but I know for as far as women goes, sometimes it just takes, you know, forty years. I mean that's a long time.
But people don't get over it, and they're traumatized, and you're these are powerful men in these seats and they're like, you're gonna go after him. I'm just little me. I'm a serious I went to see I was a Syracuse student and now I'm out to dinner with Diddy and this happens to me. Who's going to believe me? I agree, Who's going to believe that this happened with a guy like with someone like him who is in power.
Yeah, no, I do agree with that, but yeah, you would also have to say, what maybe he went to dinner and got to hook up with a one of the biggest stars on planet Earth and it was the best night of my life, and hey, I could use ten million dollars.
