thing they've done. Let's go from five to ten. Yes, every team makes the playoffs? Now whatever ten movies? Yeah, we need a movie bracket. Used to it used to be used to be five five, Yeah, and you know, to be more diverse, inclusive, and you know, give other films films I probably never would have gotten a chance, right, I never had Apternity because a lot of these movies triangle of sadness.
If they didn't spand and then it was great. Well think about this too, these you know, the filmmakers and whether it be the Grammys, the Oscars, the globes, there's a certain faction of people that are like, I don't care about awards. Awards don't mean anything, dude, they do. Just the fact that that they've expanded the roster to ten means that there's five more movies that get tagged with Oscar nominee and that is huge for these
maybe unknown films that nobody's seen or nobody ever heard of. Well, this was dominated for an Oscar. I'm gonna check it out. It helps, you know, ticket sales, it helps download, streaming, all of that stuff. So this stuff is very important for the people that make these films, especially with Yeah, especially with Best Picture, because that's the overall project and the overall conclusive of the film. So the nominees for Best Picture as
follows. Number one American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro Oppenheimer, Past Lives, Poor Things, and the Zone of Interests. Okay, every one of those I think that I could have said would be in there, except the Zone of Interest. What, Yeah, the Zone of Interests. I believe it's a
foreign film. So it's usually though sometimes down you know, movies for like the four if it's in the best picture categories, pop gonna win Best Foreign Film and which I'm And I thought Anatomy of a Fall was foreign film as well, because that was nominated I think at the Golden Globes for but it's not nominated for a foreign film. This, I don't know. Do we consider it's I don't know how they consider that. Do we consider British films
foreign films like foreign language films? Okay, I got chah, I got you. So it's got to be subtitled, right right. Let me just promise you we're gonna have an upcoming new segment that's called the Zone of Interest, the Zone of Interest because it's a great name for a segment, the Zone Germany Interest. It's German. Yeah, Okay, Well it's about World War Nazi Nazi. So yeah, it's probably a Germany film. Mm hmm. I was asking if it's a World War two. I mean it's based

If you want to know who got the most nominations of films, we got Oppenheimer with thirteen, Poor Things with eleven, Killers of the Flower Moon got ten, Barbie got eight, and My Show got seven. A few snubs if you upset, you know people
upset with a certain categories. Marbo Robbie didn't get a nomination for Best Actor. Wow, Greta Gerrik didn't get Best Director. Boo she should have. Yeah, there are a couple of people are throwing in the Iron Claw with a snub saltburn but got snub. There's there's a few notable snubs this year, all you Iron Claw people. What I tell you, Yeah, I think we may. I think JJ may have yelled at me when I said I didn't get nominated for it. Well there, I mean it was a
chance. It definitely was chatter if it's talking about being a snub. Then that means there was a chance. All right, I'll give you that. Also, with Spider Man across the Spider Verse not being Best Picture, that kind of shocking for me because the first one was nominated for Best Picture. Did iron Claw get nothing? Anyway? He didn't get anything, oh, which I knew it wouldn't because it didn't hasn't got any nominations for the Ward
seas in general. So yeah, excited to see what happens March tenth, guys is the Auscers. There's one more big award show before, which is the SAG the Screen Actor Gills Award. And then do you think it's gonna be a uh because it's just like yeah, the the other day it was basically three shows beef Bear, Yeah, succession, beef Bear, New Character, this will be I'm hungry. Probably a lot of open Hybert Oppenheimer names
getting called poor things. Could probably be a sleeper there. I mean I said it last year that everything everywhere, All I Wants is gonna sweep, and it did, so I want to tell you again, Yeah, I don't think I don't think Oppenheimer would sweep. It can get very close I think I'm gonna call Killers of the Flower Moon as being the Game Day snub. Yeah, because that best director category is Yeah, it's tough. You got Christopher Nolan and Martin knockout obviously Oppenheimer. I mean, hell, hold
on, have I seen any of these? I saw Barbie that. Yeah, I've seen six. I've seen six of the ten. You saw a movie about all. I've seen two of the ten, and I watched Saltburns that thought it would make the final ten. If it's too for everybody, not terrible, it's not for everybody. I say that. Yeah, Kevin, was there one singing that you're picturing in your head? Yeah, of course there's actually two. Well, there's three, and they all involve You
have to think about anatomy. You have to think about the psychological aspect to that, like what's happening, like, yeah, you got a factor all that. It just be like, oh, there's a baths ub scene with this. I also watch more to it than That May December because I thought it was gonna be I thought made December. I thought that might have. Like if you know his style and understand his work,

He did The Favorite, that's right, But he's a very popular name when he he doesn't release a lot of films, but when he does, he comes hard and and it's he tell he's probably gonna be asleep. Best Directed category is going to be interesting because he's also nominated for Best Director. Emistone did something else with him too. That's
