So Chris I had something pretty wild happen here this past week. Oh yeah? What happened? So I was driving around the great city that I live in and sometimes you would counter homeless people normally it's not a bad thing right? Normally it's just asking for money and the basic stuff. However I was driving and this was a pretty busy road and there was this fella walking up the road and he had a 25 pound dumbbell and he was like holding it up against his chest
like with his arms crossed like holding against his chest. It was like a free
weight? Yeah like a free weight like you know like a dumbbell free weight and I'm sitting here going okay and but you got to think this was like 3-4 in the afternoon it was the height of the heat and everything he's walking out here in the middle of the street like I'm talking it's right on the dividing line of oncoming traffic and you know both directions were at the traffic and so he's walking in the middle there and I'm going oh man that's not that's not
good even if he's working out like that's not a good situation but just something seemed off I don't know something seemed real off and so I told my wife I said you know what we're gonna do we go and take the turnaround and
come back and we're gonna see what's going on. Not like we would be able to do anything besides maybe call the police or something happens but I mean just the way he was walking and things it looked like he was about to like get in by a call or something so it was about to happen so we turned around and we drove back and by this point when we hit that turnaround we had to pull over because there's like four or five cops like blowing past us and I was going oh man
I wonder if they're already going over there and sure enough once we got back over there there was eight cop cars there and they had a swarm of dudes and they were all on top of them and everything they had him handcuffed and everything I'm going eight cars good grief so I don't know what happened but homie with the dumbbell he got he got taken down what do you speculate I don't know man the only thing that I can think of is it looked like the police officers were
talking to a guy and where this was at there was kind of a string of businesses right there and it looked like maybe a business owner or something and he was kind of making a motion like I don't know he kind of shucked them off with his arm or like he kind of made a motion with his shoulder like he either defended himself or the kid like because he was kind of a kid he was like 1918-19 looking and I don't know maybe he was kind of making a motion like maybe the guy hit
him or something I don't know but it was just it was a really interesting situation but I just didn't understand why eight police because in this was just the time that we went up the road hit the turnaround and came back there was already eight cops all up on that area Chris and I'm like and this is Donut Box podcast that's an interesting story for sure man but more interesting than that story not that your story is boring is our podcast because our podcast is
always interesting yeah it's not just about one story about some guy getting arrested randomly that we don't know about but hey it's about the weird stuff that we see in the city and the weird stuff we see in life right man my question is is your is your city like after an event like that happens is they pretty public about like what happened or is it like oh this is just kind of normal everyday stuff because here if something happens you don't
really know about it till like two three weeks late and that's probably how it is here I looked up news stories and things like that and I couldn't find anything for what was happening on that front but at the same time if it was something that was deemed minor you know I might not get picked up by our news over here well eight cop cars does not sound like something that was minor no it seems like something they were either they were really bored or something really
happened I don't know maybe swung the dumbbell at somebody I don't know man I don't know well we have an interesting show for you it is our free flow episode and today we are gonna let the computer decide what we talk about we have the randomizer that we do on the improv segment that picks our accent and our kind of like scenario but we have the randomizer that's gonna pick our topics right today AI whoo now I'm joking it's gotta love it it's the future it's here
and if you don't if you don't get used to AI I'm sorry you got it it's in our world now it's here among us you got to just roll with it I guess yeah absolutely and so you know it's gonna pick these random topics that we're gonna talk about some of these things we're probably gonna know but other things we're just gonna kind of go with and who knows I don't know what it's gonna pull out of the hat here so it's almost like one big improv segment if you will yeah we
don't know where it's gonna take us we could go down a whole bunch of rabbit holes we could end up in Alice in Wonderland who knows but I'm excited to get started all right so do you want to go first like I'm gonna generate the topic and I'll ask you the question first if you want to start yeah yeah for sure all right then I'll answer a question next where do you spend most of your free time like break from work during the day so you have a break from
work where you go on what are you doing to be honest with you I'm in my house watching TV or playing the PlayStation my wife and I we do try to get out you know if we both have the day off but we have some free time we do try to go out we try to at least go get dinner or you know every now and then we do like arcade games and so we'll go to Dave and Buster's or main event or what have you so we do try to get out but like where I live there's not too much to do and the
things that you can do they're kind of pricey and so we try to just stay at home I like to watch TV that's the way that I recharge is watching TV playing games just resting at the house like not having contact with people because my job requires me to be so much in contact with people so that that is the answer to your question yeah so I'm gonna it's not on the randomizer here but what about so say you're at work and you have a 20 30 minute break and it's like you
know I got to go somewhere to eat or hang out for 20 30 minutes you can't stay at work you got to go somewhere where is it gonna be still gonna be home no it's not gonna be home I don't know because a few of us you know we eat regularly together at lunchtime pretty often so it's just wherever we want we're feeling like mostly it's staying around that place so I don't know firehouse is a good place just to go walk around maybe target if I'm like hey I got some time
to kill I don't know there's not again there's not really too many places I can go at 20 30 minute yeah I guess that's true I guess that's true but he said he said target the land of fart yoga pants and popcorn that's the smell right hey the reason why I go to target though is because I'm always on the hunt for new action figures and so sometimes they'll drop a new line and so I try to stay ahead of because there's like one or two action figure collectors and
love it that if you if you wait for an action figure to come out if you don't get it like a day or two they will buy a mall lovely every action figure and love it like it's it's ridiculous that grown men are buying up all these children's toys I always only ever get one like I get one out of the courtesy of other people all right so this question is for me and I mean you can follow up I could follow up with whatever question you know if I want to answer it too but the
question is you find a remote control that can rewind fast forward stop and start time so like click what do you start with oh yeah so like the movie click what are you doing that's that's a tough one so for me I don't think you're gonna rewind are you no I'm not gonna rewind but see the thing is really the only choice that you have is you can stop time you can start time you can fast forward I guess I would it depends on what moment I'm in right but I'd like
to say most of my life I'm enjoying it so you know I would start stop it to where you can enjoy it and start it when it happens again you know where when things kind of take a south turn here's here's my question the remote you only can rewind within the parameters of your life is that correct so like you can't go to before you were born is that right yeah no no you can't go before you were born or you know go time traveling and see something from way back when or
anything like that yeah I guess that's true is there just for like you wouldn't have to say they're long but is there like a certain part of your past that you would just like to revisit maybe for a brief moment weirdly enough I think eighth grade going into like ninth grade tenth grade sometimes it's weird because as an adult I understand a lot more responsibility in different things and with a different mindset I think I would have liked to have tried sports
with that mindset now I don't know it's it's just different I wouldn't say that I didn't take it as serious but I think that I would have better I'd be better equipped to be able to hold school and you know play sports and you know have everything all together instead you know sometimes it was a struggle I think I would have had that a lot more together and what that would have been like I'm curious about so can so sorry I know I'm asking the question in this scenario can
you rewind and then change the outcome of your life like can you make this or can you just only go and revisit the memory that's what I'm curious about that's that's an interesting question yeah I don't know I don't know about that one because for me if you change your life of course it changes the outcome of everything right so I mean it's pretty heavy if you go to your past and do something different that is it that is an interesting question I don't know it
doesn't the randomizer unfortunately doesn't delve that far into it for me I if I'm able to go back and change things and the outcome of my life be different I think I'm gonna go revisit 18 19 year old me a change a good bit of things and because I do enjoy like there's a I don't know a nostalgic part of that time for me but I wish a lot of the events and circumstances would have played out differently if that makes sense like I have a fondness of thinking
about some of that time but I wish I could change the circumstances yeah yeah and I feel that a lot of it is hindsight 2020 knowing what you know now about not just how situations turned out but seeing the red flags and you know I don't know there's a lot of things that you're like man if I could go back with the mind that I have now I would have been able to thwart a lot of crap if I could go back with the mind I have now me and Michael would have moved out quicker we've
got our own apartment and we would have had an awesome time just being two bachelor we would have started a podcast like 10 years ago apparently yeah we would have started the donor box podcast yeah we probably would have got into vlogging I don't know I would have got one up so yeah for sure so interesting question interesting question listen I got to ask you though so are you what are you doing you get the remote what are you doing for me I think I'm probably
gonna maybe rewind a little bit just so I can maybe recapture some moments with my dad maybe that's probably it I don't really want to fast forward because if you fast forward like that movie clicked and you miss out on a whole bunch of stuff and I don't really want to do that unless you had the functionality of been able to rewind and go back to certain points that you fast forwarded through but at the same time I don't know that's that's what I always remember
about click is if you fast forward then before you know it you'll be on your deathbed you missed out on a bunch of stuff so yeah I'm gonna be a sad they say it's a comedy movie yeah no ladies and gentlemen and it's sad it's like you gotta be ready for that stuff yeah it was and I wasn't when I watched it either then again I was a kid all right so you're ready for your next one we know that one let's see okay what was your favorite restaurant when you were a
child so first of all I already know that your family didn't go out to eat a ton but if if you're going and it's like Christopher it's your birthday it's favorite restaurant where you going um I wouldn't say it's maybe okay wait never mind yes I'm going back to Ryan's bro um Ryan's Ryan's buffet I don't know what it was but I liked it more than golden coral was it the rolls yeah I was I also have a fond yeah okay or oddly enough because that restaurant got
turned into Stevie B's right is that what it got turned into or was Ryan's there yeah so I have a maybe it's that location but I have a fondness for Stevie B's which was a pizza place I don't know why but I have a fondness for that and then like I said we didn't really go to too many restaurants as a kid and if we did it was it was a pretty big special occasion and so I don't really remember actually going to a lot of restaurants so probably see for you for your birthday
I always remembered going to at least the ones I was a part of and got you gifts that your parents weren't exactly fond of I remember going to that Mexican food place that was up the street from your from your house yeah it was always in Mexican food restaurants that I remember going to the most but now that I've moved to Texas and tasted the promised land I would never go back to those places so that's kind of the hard part what about you is there is it was there a favorite
restaurant for you as a kid as a child you know weirdly enough that Ryan's was really good I don't know if it's like as nostalgic is but something about that Ryan's maybe it was that location for some reason it was kind of a short building I always remember driving past it and always look kind of like half sunk in the ground but it wasn't you know what I'm talking about I don't I don't know anyways it was pretty good and I remember going there a ton of them just
randomly shut down there was this do you remember that Chinese buffet I know we're sitting here going man and here's the funny part I'm not a big fan of buffets now and here we are like oh yeah nostalgic buffets but there was a Chinese buffet that was up there by the Walmart Columbia County you know what I'm talking about and I don't know that was always good because whenever my grandparents would come and stay out at the lake you know it was kind of that
was kind of like the last little bit of civilization before you drive out to the middle of nowhere to Pollard's Corner and whatnot and so pretty much whatever they would come back in town to go eat that was where it would be and so it was always a good thing and just like that we didn't eat out that often either so when grandparents came to town it was either that or they liked Golden Corral like we would go to Golden Corral with them I have a weird and I'm gonna share
this memory I I don't know for some reason the restaurant that was right across was a road it was right across the street from your house you know where that market what that rush Mexican restaurant was right across the street yeah yeah yeah yeah in the strip mall yeah in the strip mall and for some reason again ladies this is like 2005 2006 I remember feeling bad because I ordered a plate that was $4 and that was considered expensive like I felt really bad
because I was like oh this is $4 a plate like it was like 450 or something and I'm talking about for the whole entire meal like it was four bucks and I was like oh I feel really bad because I ordered something kind of on the higher end I don't know why I remember that going going to that place with your family a lot but I don't I guess yeah that that one on the corner I don't I don't really know and then we started going to another one up the road and like Chris said
the Mexican food there it's nothing compared to the state of Texas so the only other one that I'll say that was kind of nostalgic which it's closed now apparently is Harbor Inn I like that place oh yeah my dad loved that place and you love that place dude that was such an old people place too like that was such a I don't know why it just you know I'm an old person on the inside and it was just perfect I don't know if you know this I was gonna say it wasn't your
first birthday here because that was when you guys had the plane ride but I think it was your second or third birthday here so you probably it was probably fourth grade the second time probably fourth grade the second time but I remember your parents being like hey we're gonna take Micah out for his birthday and you can come along and I was like okay I remember they were like you get whatever you want I remember you getting the crab legs and I was like
oh these are expensive dude I just remember you getting crab legs for some reason and maybe and like oh like his parents really did tell him to get whatever you wanted and I was like my parents would never let me get the crab legs even on my birthday hey I'll tell you this much it was I remember you know how much they were a plate it was $12 a plate and that was considered like real expensive oh man you go over 10 bucks a plate that was expensive expensive but
something else I liked about Harbor Inn was I would I don't know man you I mean I grew really really fast and was really tall and you know in the seventh grade and I would you say I stopped growing I wouldn't say I stopped growing but not as quickly but during the time where I was going really fast I was hungry all the freaking time and I could put some food away and so one of the things I really liked about Harbor Inn was it was cheap enough like Chris said to where your
parents aren't gonna get truly mad about you ordering a crap ton of food because I remember they're like four catfish staying with like two sides and all that that was only like six seven bucks and so you can get that and it actually filled you up so that weirdly enough that's why I liked Harbor Inn so much is because it was just like okay I actually know it's kind of that feeling of like you know you're actually gonna get full from it and it's gonna be good
I think it's your turn to answer the next question if your mind were an island what would it look like okay that's an interesting that's an interesting question I feel like I'm in a psychiatrist option or office and they're about to start show me the ink blots but I think for me it's gonna look rocky in some places and it's gonna have some hills and you know it's gonna have some nice beaches but I don't know it's not gonna be perfect but at the same time it's gonna be darn nice
I don't know how to describe it it's kind of a weird question Christopher if your mind were an island that's a that's a weird one that's a weird one okay let's move on I'm passing on that okay I don't want one if you can chew oh this one's a good one if you can choose any two famous people in the same sitting to have a lunch or dinner with who would it be yeah I think I I think we kind of talked about this maybe two weeks ago I'm deaf I'm definitely gonna have lunch
with Denzel again and then I think oh man I want someone because Denzel has like so much wisdom so much wisdom because I was here and somebody say that Denzel when he would go to parties he would leave 30 minutes early because he said you always want to leave 30 minutes before the devil shows up and they kind of took that they were relating relating it to P. Diddy and you know he saw my how Jesus ate with sinners and all that and tax collectors on stuff but he
always like you know you always want to show up 30 minutes or leave 30 minutes before the devil shows up because that way you know you're not involved in any crazy stuff so he has a lot of good quotes I think just probably Cody Rhodes I'm sorry Cody Rhodes and Denzel Washington do they have to be at the same dinner or can I have two separate dinners it says same dinner but I don't care you can open it up oh okay yep that's who I'm having lunch with dinner
with just to hang out Cody seems like a guy just that have a beer with but who are you who are you inviting to your dinner or your lunch Jimmy Graham you might recognize the name you know the football player used to play for the Saints so he kind of I don't know he kind of ticks two of my hobbies he's actually a pilot on the side owns a couple planes is like really into aviation so that's a double win right you could talk to him about football you
could talk to him about planes beautiful I think on the other front I don't know we've talked about this before but I think Obama will be a cool guy to hang out with he was gonna be my other one not just from a not really caring about his politics but just like screw his politics I'm talking about just him as a person because he's retired now I'm not you know he just endorsing people at this point I'm talking about having dinner with the guy heck getting schooled
in basketball from the guy I'm sure the guy could really screw you up on the basketball court I don't know oh you know who would kind of be cool to have like dinner with or just hang out with I feel like Adam Sam would be kind of a cool guy to hang out with yeah oh the other guy Marshawn Lynch that's how you know it's gonna be a good time yeah bro have a dinner with Marshawn that'd be great that'd be great that's like that's like having dinner with Kanye I feel
like you think so you think he's not nuts like that though he's just funny cuz you just don't know how that was gonna pop off you don't but at the same time he's just he's uniquely him hey you do you bro all right man so this randomizer really just asked the question who is your oldest friend and where'd you meet them I think we I think we know all right so your next question is do you have a goal of when you want to retire and what do you want
to do once you retire I think it's kind of hard because of the industry I'm in because even though you're retired man like even if I officially retired I would still want to like preach and maybe work part-time so like being retired and and all that stuff I don't know like I guess I would be semi retired man I don't know dude like to be semi retired probably 70 75 I'm gonna I'm gonna go to the wheels fall off yeah okay I get that I get that and then once you retire
that's pretty much what you want to do is just kind of volunteer your time potentially or yeah I'm just maybe just go in and help passers maybe if they need like a like if I'm still able to do it in like in good health you know what I mean if they need like a break they need us about a co-working feeling for them listen I'll be I'm gonna keep an eye out if yo ass be kooky I'm gonna let you know like hey maybe you shouldn't be giving nobody no advice yeah joking
keep you in check at 80 yeah I guess so man but I definitely want to like I don't know there was us travel but just hang out just enjoy my life enjoy my family I get you ideally for myself I'm looking this sounds ambitious but I'm looking to like 50 I'd like to have enough money to retire at 50 to where you know even you plan for the next 50 years to where you know I can live 50 years comfortably no big deal I can live to 100 me and my wife kids grandkids all that
good jazz I do believe that that kind of generational wealth will be coming in the name of Jesus we know that checks gonna be coming and I'm putting it out there anyways but no I think if we can do that and then I don't know I want to get a piece of land call me call me whatever but again an old person at heart I'm gonna give me a piece of land I'm gonna get me a nice tractor we give me a nice some nice work equipment and that's how I'm gonna spend my time you know I get a
few animals that sort of thing just stuff that kind of is revolving to where you always have to take care of it you know that sort of thing that's what I'm gonna do in retirement hey there you go okay so for myself who was the first band or musician you were really into and do you still like them man there was a lot there was a lot I would say the first one that I definitely remember and this is right when I came to Augusta was Toby Mack Toby Mack was probably the
first band that I was like really really into but that was when he kind of did his like hip-hop thing like not when he was really doing the rock thing like he was doing more of like the hip-hop thing and he had that really really big song that came out I don't know there's there was a whole album I remember going to Wifly music and get that album yes it yes it was with with his little goatee just like yeah yeah uh-huh was it welcome to Diver City with the little red and green
and white yeah yeah really I mean that was that was that was his best album not I'm with you bro that's the first one I really was into as well and that album so I don't I don't I rock with that album I don't know his his other stuff even the few years after that I was like no I'm not really down with it do you still like him though that's the question you still like him you still rock with it became to like it was like in contemporary rock almost I mean it was
not very not very good and you know I don't know I had a few other ones again Lifeway bookstore you go and you listen to a bunch of randos out there petty do you if you remember was one big one for me I think the only real reason I liked him was because he had grills and that was a whole thing at the time but even him now I mean it was a style you know I think it was a style it was a it was a it was a fad back then and so a lot of these guys have had to change and if
we're being honest if that's your bread and buttered you got to change it just ain't gonna be good and that's what's happened to a lot of it is they're still going but it's just not that it became a lot of his stuff is Christian radio and that all that all has the same sound exactly exactly all right man so next one if you were given ten million dollars would you know right would you still be working or going to school or would you just quit everything man I'd
still I'd still be working I'd have to work but I would definitely have some conditions to my working I would I think I would not be I'm like hey like I'm gonna come in I would be what I'm good at and then I'm gonna leave like I'm gonna peace out like I can travel when I like I'm just gonna flexibility dictate my schedule I think I'm still working for the benefits I think that's what I'm working for really I just play hey you ain't got to pay me no salary nothing
just give me the benefits that's it like that's all I want just give me the benefits just give me the nice but I'm traveling I'm going to Universal Studios I'm going to Russellvania all that stuff but yeah I'm still working what about you I was saying I think I would you know I've thought about this before if something like that were to happen I'm gonna keep my job and I'm still gonna live a meager I wouldn't say a meager life but like yeah I'm gonna make some
purchases but for the most part I'm getting a financial guy immediately and saying listen I'm not gonna touch most of this and we're gonna make sure I don't touch most of this but there are a few things that I want to splurge on you know like go ahead and buy house and like stuff like that not over the top I'm not looking to get like you know a 30 bedroom 20 bath house or some crap you know I'm looking to just get a normal house but just enough to get some assets
and some living stuff and that's about it but yeah just still work that way you're still generating an income and a check and then the rest is just gravy right I'm trying to get I'm trying to get shacks financial guy and I'm trying to get Snoop dogs financial guy because those dudes be making business moves they like their hands are in everything you're just like there isn't there isn't there they're financial guys with their agents yeah I've heard I've heard 50
cent is kind of the same way to like 50 is really smart with his money well I mean he was like a he was like a valedictorian or something wasn't he I mean he was I don't know I don't remember all right so next one I can go ahead and answer this I I think I can answer this one for you but just on the off chance has anyone saved your life no not that I'm aware of now there could have been something that's happened like you know a chain of events that could have
maybe wax me that I didn't know about that you know save me but not that I'm sitting here going yeah Jesus and save my life every day I'm not I even all jokes aside there but sometimes where he really has saved my life but as far as like a physical human being like you know doing CPR or like running in front of a moving car or something not that I'm aware of next one's your question dog what piece of technology is extremely frustrating to use okay oh no you got him fried up
oh man so from somebody who's in it printers are the bane of my existence I cannot stand printers you know they if there's something that they did not design very very well I'm not gonna get into all the technical mumbo-jumble with that I really could but printers really if I had to go to a rage cage like or when I go to a rage cage that's gonna be the things that I want or printers give me some printers man what what about it what about the printers is like making
man so each manufacturer is different right and each manufacturer has different means to get them set up and keep them working right there's about a million variables to where people either don't keep their stuff up today they'll keep their computer up today it could be about one of five things of why this printer is not working or when you're setting it up of why it's not working when you set it up all this other stuff and then you're having if it's already
set up you're having to trust that the person set it up correctly and I was it's a bunch of pain and then there's drivers that are involved there's a bunch of crap that could there's just a million variables about it right and you're having to trust these people that they did it right and they're just the average folks and printers are not designed to be installed by average people so it's just frustrating it's just frustrating it keeps people like me
employed which is but it's just frustrating as all get out it's kind of like if I can give you an example in real world you know how frustrating it is sometimes when you have the card readers at retail stores that are all different you're like wait how does this one work it's somewhat similar it's just like every one of them is different most of them work similar but a lot of them are kind of different and things are in different locations and it sucks so how
about you what do you have a piece of technology that just really fires you up not a piece of technology but an app so the so actually the peacock app is it it's kind of bad it freezes up a lot yeah it's a piece of crap yeah like it freezes up all the time like you try to start something and then if you click on it start it and then it freezes up in the middle of it you can't go back and watch whatever it was that you're trying to watch so yeah it's a pretty bad like
the content only isn't bad but like the app itself yeah it was poorly developed I would actually say maybe cheaply developed they just threw something together and my thing is you know everybody went through to streaming platforms Disney plus all this other stuff I think NBC was like oh we need to throw something up there quick so we could start getting people to and that's all that that is so alright so your next question here what is the best piece of
advice that you ever got oh man the best piece of advice I've ever got man that's a tough one yeah it's a deep question maybe not the best piece piece of advice but I just want to or just one of the best yeah probably one of the best I think it's when you whenever there's like a leadership change or you're in a new season of leadership you're not responsible for the fruit of the previous season so what that means like the fruit from that other leaders have produced
whether it's good or bad like the successes or failures from the previous leader you're not responsible for so so and a lot of times people whenever there's a new leadership transition in certain seats a lot of people will leave because I don't know they're finding an excuse for a lead to leave and you can't take that personal so yeah that and then recently when I was going through this hiring process someone said it's okay to hire the wrong person it's just okay to
not keep them there or sorry it's not okay to keep them there that makes sense so it's okay to hire the wrong person by mistake but it's just not okay to keep them there and then of course advice you know you always want to defend publicly and then like correct privately so I found that to be very helpful in management is to hey I'm gonna stick up for you even if you're wrong I'm gonna defend you to somebody else if you're on my team but then when we're behind
closed doors then I'm gonna that's when we're gonna have that conversation so yeah what about you learn to play the game and pretty much it's it's a tough one because I'm a very hard-working person 110 120% but part of what that means and learning how to play the game is even though you're doing 110 120% sometimes there'll be other people that are excelling more than you but it's because they're noticing and doing things I don't know that they're out of
your norm that you would go I normally wouldn't do that that seems out of the box for me but they're doing those things and it's overriding all the extra work that you're doing and so I don't know I had a I had a boss one time tell me you know you just need to learn how to play the game sometimes about what's going on at the job is not about how good of a job that you do it's how well you play with the politics and how well you play the game and so the best part
about that is once I found to understand that it's a lot easier to understand where some of these tensions are coming from and you know where some of the trust issues are coming from and where some of these other problems are coming from and or you can even tell if things are going well going better than before and you're able to read it because there's so many people out there you know and I've had so many other people that are in meetings and they're absolutely
clueless about this stuff right but there's all these subtle things going on back and forth all the time and you got to keep an eye out for that sort of thing and so for me that's that's helped me a lot and understanding pretty much just don't don't take any conversation at face value either I mean it's also one I when I've learned never say never never say never because if you say never it's gonna end up happening to you or hey I'm never gonna work with that person
ever again then guess what happens you work with that person like five years later so never say never yeah or you see them or something happens and yeah who's is it is it mine or yours it's mine okay what defines a sport okay there this one's like a three-questioner so what defines a sport I don't know anything for me personally it's anything that is competitive and you can keep score and I guess physical right like you're doing something physical I don't
know some people get upset about that because it's like e-sports but then again you're physical with your hands right so I don't know but to me yeah competitive keep score that sort of thing so the next question is is fishing a sport yeah I would consider it if it a sport I think I mean I mean there I've seen the competitive fishing on TV where it's like timed and everything and those guys are serious I don't know if you heard to breaking off into a rabbit hole
there's been a whole thing here recently where guys have been straight up getting arrested because they'll go to these fishing tournaments and they'll pull out bass and whatnot and then they'll shove weights down their throat to get more weight you know and they'll win these prizes $25,000 or whatever and you know here lately that's been the thing is they've been coming to find you know oh man they shove two three pound weights down four or five their fish and
then they get arrested for fraud because it's legit I mean think about it you're robbing up 25k or whatever the you know the prize money is so that's been that's been a pretty crazy deal here lately I'm seeing a lot of reports about that and then the final question in this string of questions how about video game tournaments we kind of talked about that I don't know man that one's a hard one if I would consider it sports but I think it's just video game tournaments I
mean I don't think I would consider that sports yeah I don't know I don't know mental calisthenics calisthenics I guess I don't know I think it's arguable to me I guess I'm more on the front of I kind of don't care you can call this sport you don't have to call it a sport I don't care I mean there is hand-eye coordination I guess yeah there is hand-eye coordination and I guess if it's like PC you know if you're playing on PC and having to do it all by keys I mean
that's a little bit more challenging but anyways okay this one's kind of a weird one do you ever experience phantom vibrations like do you ever feel your phone in your pocket vibrate but it really didn't or you you know you feel like oh man my phone's ringing it's vibrating in my pocket but it's over on the other side of the room or something like that or you'll feel something and then all of a sudden no don't happen to you that that happens to me actually I
get phantom vibrations where it's like my phone's ringing and I'll reach down there or nothing or it'll be across the room not even in my pocket or there's other times where I feel like stuff is crawling on me like bugs stuff like that yeah I get that sometimes and then I'll be I'll like swat it and there won't be anything there so I don't know kind of apparently some people can experience it some people don't so maybe you don't experience the the phone vibrating but
the bug I don't know so this one's for me I don't know how I'm gonna answer this one if you had to change your name what would your new name be I've never thought about it I guess Shackleford rusty shack Rusty Shackleford I don't know man what if you if you looked at my face what what does my face say what is my face like what name does my face say don't do that I know what you're thinking don't set me up dad easy I know it's low and slow over home plate I know it's
low and slower home plate don't don't don't do don't set me up like that on this podcast not towards the end of the show that's too easy man I don't I don't I really don't know I wouldn't try to think of all these biblical names but then there's a bunch of douchebags named these names too so that's the problem I feel like a Josiah a Josiah yeah I know listen not just douchebag homeschool douchebag I don't know if I can answer that one I'm gonna I'm gonna
how about you do you have a name that you'd be like yeah I don't know some people say a little like I a Scott or I don't know I think my parents are gonna name me David or Jonathan David I think I could see that yeah I could see that okay so who are your top three and this is across all sports favorite athletes oh man you know I'm gonna pick wrestling you know I'm gonna pick wrestling no okay hold on John Smoltz for baseball and then wrestling Sean Michaels and
steam and basketball Kobe Bryant I know that's more than three but there you go and Chipper Jones is probably in that basketball we're going Mike Bibi because that dude hey don't be looking at me like that he's still a favorite athlete I didn't say he was all-time greater he think I said he's my favorite athlete but by the way if you haven't seen him here lately that dude swole that guy got jacked in his retirement and then I think for football I think we're doing Troy
Eggman which which piece up Larry Allen sorry that he passed and then third because we already did basketball and this is a this is a very joke pick because I have plenty of other athletes I could go with but baseball we're going with Mike Piazza hey that's what I'm saying great guy Mike pizza great guy all right how many more we do two more what a piece two more okay what's your favorite season of the year I mean we live in Texas we kind of don't get seasons but follows my
favorite season because it's cooler I feel like there's more stuff to do I like the fall festivals I like all that stuff I really like like fall heading into the holidays like I know a lot of people don't like the holidays but I really genuinely do like the holiday season I really do I get into it but that's just me I like that time of year too but mainly it's because it's football season and things are things are good which by the way the new NCAA
games about to come out and I know what I'm going to be spending my time on that week okay so let's see here kind of a weird question if if you don't not answer this one we'll go to another one are there any old trends that you've seen coming back these days do you like overly spicy food if you don't like spicy food what are some mild things that are mistakenly given spicy like have you ever had something you go to a restaurant and I guess yeah I love AI I
think what it's trying to say is if you've ever been to a restaurant and they ask you how spicy do you want it you say I want it mild and then they still bring it out you're like man this is still hot I would hate to see what hot is like oh yeah man I'm trying to think some places with like barbecue like barbecue sauce when they were like you want the mild barbecue sauce and I'm like man this still got a kick to it I best one I could think about like that
and chicken wings I know chicken wings is like that sometimes too it just depends on where you go which where's your go-to spot for chicken wings I don't really have I guess b-dubs yeah yeah wings wingstop is too dry yeah a lot of people like wingstop though I don't know I got sick off them one time you ever get sick at a place you like man I'm done with that all right so next and final question for myself do you prefer to watch movies in the theater or in the
comfort of your own home and neither so no no it's probably my own home mainly but I do like going to the theater I will say this call me or whatever but the popcorn is what's popping at the movie theater I don't know why you can't go to your pantry you can't or will riddenbocker some some movie popcorn like you could even have the little machine in your house it don't matter it's not gonna taste the same so it's like there's something about that movie popcorn
and then you put that cholesterol butter on top of it and it's even better let me end it with this have you ever and kids there used to be like midnight premieres whenever a movie would come out people will wait in line and for big movies but did you ever go to a midnight premiere have you ever been to one yeah I did it was actually I am legend went to the midnight premiere by a legend you went to a midnight premiere for I'm legend yeah my my wonderful parents took
me when I was in the seventh grade to go see I am legend for the midnight premiere and I remember both my mom and dad wanted to go see it I don't think they understood fully what it was and I'll put it to you this way it was about 15 minutes in and my mom was like give me the keys I'll believe it and she left and then she came back and picked us up after it was over and so you gotta think this is like 2 33 o'clock in the morning and she comes and picks us up it was
over at the regal cinemas you know I'm talking about it was all dark over there and you remember think about I am legend it's pitch black in the middle of the dark I'm in the seventh grade I was pissing my pants stuff was about the woods you know what I mean it was not a fun time I didn't but yeah I didn't go that movie is like okay there probably not a lot of people like in line but like do you remember back in the day would like I think a Harry Potter Star Wars
or reges of the Sith Twilight did did you ever go to like one where you had to wait in line like Hunger Games any of that no I didn't did you I did I went to a couple of the Hunger Games where it was like midnight premiere and people would dress up at these mugs like they would be into it they would dress up I can't remember if it was I think it was Star Wars yep Star Wars I did revenge of the sith revenge of the sith a lot of people dressed up for revenge of the sith I
didn't go the midnight premiere but I went the next day after the midnight premiere and people are still dressing up like the day after the premiere like on that Friday the Avengers when the Avengers came out the first one that was a big one to people it was it was hard to get tickets it was pop it yeah I bet I bet well man that was a pretty crazy episode we had some weird questions you got to love AI and technology spitting out some some
interesting questions there it didn't make us think on some of it did for sure well we're so glad that you joined us on this fun ride tell them where they need to go Micah at trash can network at trash can network and at the aviator society if you're looking for something aviation wise we got plenty of stuff that's posting all the time in fact I just got a notification for one of the videos from trash can network that uploaded just today so if you want to
