Logic Pro X, our recording platform of choice, recently released a significant update that overhauled the capability, speed, and ease when it comes to aspects of music production. With the excitement of all of this, it made us think about questions like, “ Is it getting too easy to make music nowadays?” or “ Does it make us feel like it’s cheating when music gets easier to produce?” or “Is creativity impacted negatively or positively as tools and innovations improve?” We talk about those questions and discuss how we could embrace these innovations, while maintaining our unique artistic integrities.
