Hey, Hey, what is going on everyone? I am Ryan. I'm here with Mark from Orbit DVD and everybody seems to be excited. He's here Mark, How we doing? Uh? Are they angry? Did? Did they pitchforks and uh torches? No? Everybody. Everybody is very happy with Orbit. And I've been preaching the good word of Orbit at least a year and a half, and it seems like the last year everybody is suddenly starting to pick up. Have you seen a giant increase? Oh it's exploded?

Yeah, yeah, we uh you know, I don't want to how much time you have or whatever. But basically, long story, short video store been operating for twenty years. Pandemic hit. We would already started transitioning over to selling movies. So we had the stores and two halves. The front half of the store was for Everything's for sale, So all these horror movies, all these great boutique labels there by Loves, we had them, but we didn't sell them online. They were in the store. So local flippers

were having a field day for years. But basically pandemic hit. I said, well what do I do? And it's like, well, I got a website. I don't use so I just started to dump this stuff on there, and I think some of you guys actually were keeping us a secret because I had my philosophy is if I can get something wholesale, I will

never sell it more than the retail price. So I was selling like the like dolls with a slip cover for thirty five dollars, you know, and I'll see it on the eBay is already going for like one hundred and stuff like that. So so some of you guys were not really spreading spreading the word for a while. But I think once word got out that uh that that that we uh you know we're around that, it definitely has gone up in popularity for sure. The floodgates opened. So yes, you've you've been

around there for quite a long time. Uh so you you started orbit yourself, is that right? Me? Yep? Yep? Basically me. I I worked. I was an idiot. I was a manager at a Blockbuster for a few years, so I was used to working until like midnight or one. So I set my hours at the video store from like noon to eleven when I first started, and I worked noon to eleven every every day. I actually had friends volunteer It's like I said, you got to take

some time off, baby, you know, just you go home. You know, two kids at this point too, So yeah, that that was That was a rough couple of years at first, but then you know, yeah, me, Well, what's funny this comment kind of personifies everything on Orbit three free equals thousands of dollars. Obviously, there's a lot of people that are here because you sell physical media, and a whole bunch of people, I'm willing to bet still look at you crazy when you tell them that

you work at a video store. Is that a common thing? Yeah? Yeah, we paused the video rentals for we stopped them early twenty twenty one. We are going to bring them back. But I still identify myself as a video store. That's that's my blood, that's my bones, and you know that the selling of the movies is an extension of that. And it's actually kind of foreign to me because my own personal viewing habits are I usually

just watch a movie once and I move on. There's so many movies out there, and my going, well, I'll have time to mess with this one again. So but yeah, I always had like maybe fifty or one hundred I have line around that I watch over and over again. But I've become a collector again too, you know. It's like I've started a collection again because of all you guys. Really, but yeah, the video store

is going to come back. It is going to be sort of like smaller and punkier and really lean and mean basically, but I'm looking forward to it. Even without the rentals. You're still a video store. You're still selling videos. I'm a video store. Yeah, I am a video store, and I got the vibe of one. You know, it's like exactly yeah, yeah, say about half the employees, you know, more than half were around during the video store part. And we're used to talking movies with

people. And that's the nostalgia that a lot of people have, is going to a place and just talking movies with a clerk or other people. You know. I've seen friendships and relationships actually happen just from meeting people in the store over the past twenty years. Yeah, that I can't imagine the joy of being able to do that nowadays. I'm super jealous, genuinely, and that seems bad to say in twenty twenty two, Maybe that you're jealous of

somebody working at a video store. But that would be amazing. Well, top be jealous of me, please. It's gonna struggle every twenty years basically, But I wouldn't wouldn't change a thing regrets of anything I've done. And that's that's the thing with Orbit is you can tell, you can tell that it's done with somebody with the passion for that in mind, and it comes across as just this vibe that you are just magnetic and everybody wants to keep

getting it. And yeah, you are taking thousands and thousands of dollars from a lot of us all the time. For example, we got somebody in the chat that says this channel introduced me to Orbit, so happy to spend my money with you guys. Mark, you guys are great. And that three item shipping deal gets me every time. It's a little psychological in it.

Yes, it truly truly is. Well, take a lot a lot lot of places have like a spin of limit free shipping, which is great as well, but you know, for us, it's like it does Matthew. I had a guy early on and he gained the system. He we were selling video games in the beginning on the website. They're just local only for right now. We are going to do something in the future. But anyway, he got all sorts of sports games as twenty five cent games we

had for free shipping, and and we did it. We that the shipping was more than the actual games were, but he got the deal, and it's like I got to honor this, you know so well that hurts. Yeah, you know, we've learned from our mistakes, you know, like really bad mistakes for sure. I will say one of the things that a lot of people are not cognizant of because they go there primarily for movies, is that you also have a hearty selection of books. Just gosh. I

think it was November. I went in there and I only had two things that were on my list that I got to get from. More of it right now? What is the third thing? That psychological trick killing me? But it was November, so I needed an extra gift for my kids for Christmas, and I went in there and you had the little Golden Book of Haunted Mansion. It was five bucks. Yeah, free shipping. I mean, how do you argue with that? It's a Christmas present? Helped me

out. Everybody wins. Yeah, yeah, we we love the book section it's a you know, it's a small section and for us, but we we just we noticed Ashle's a very rapid book town basically, you know, as bookstores every you know, there's quite a few bookstores. But uh, you know, it's like going, what are we missing here? It's like going, well, we love the film reference books. That's usually confined to like one shelf wherever you go, you know, if it's a Parts of

Noble or whatever. So well let's let's expand that to a huge section. We also like the curiosities. We love. We love anything that's the sort of witchy or or you know, anything court related, cults, you know, to the oddities, to to you know this weird medical practices from the nineteenth century, to to kid you grew up on that that you know are a little bit strange and weird. And it's like, well that made us, let's shove that on some other kid's psyche, you know, to help

them down that path. Well, I, I, for one, appreciate it. I genuinely I'm within about a foot and a half of a book I bought recently. I got the paperbacks from Hell reference Book and it's beautiful. Glad that you're doing it because it seems like hardly anyone else's that's not Amazon sadly, Well, it's a good pairing, you know. It's like we, you know, we said, well, you're buying these movies, why not get the book on this film director or this genre or whatever.

You know, It's like, my favorite genre is I used to call them spaghetti westerns, but a lot of the directors take offense to that, so Italian Westerns. Basically, there's just so many great reference books on those, and it's like you're really, even just reading a blog or discussion group, you can't absorb what a well researched author can do in these books and whatnot. And of course the color photographs are amazing and things like that. Well,

you took the words out of my mouth. I was about to try to segue to the announcements with what is your favorite genre movies? Even though I knew it was westerns? If you're super into Italian westerns, what are you know top three that you would suggest people take a look at it orbit from your favorites? Well, I mean, you know, it's like I'm gonna list the ones that that everybody. You know, It's like should know, but a lot of people don't. Yeah, I mean like like you

really should explore. You know that the two main directors or Leone uh of course uh is the king and then you know almost you know, if he's God, the Pope is is Corpucci, you know. So it's like like both those directors are amazing. Like Leoni's output is you know, he wasn't a lot, but Corpucci of course did Django and and Great Silence and you know things like that. So I really love Death Rides a Horse. A big fan of that. The is a weird one that we sometimes see yous

come through and I'm it's screaming of a of a reissue. And I forgot who had like uh one of the mem uh one of the owner. One of the people from Vinger Syndrogram told me who had the rights and I forgot? But is it not really Italian but maybe Europe It's definitely Europeans. A cut Throat's nine. Yeah, I saw a trailer for that. I collect trailer tapes. I love trailer tapes. That was really my jam in the

nineties when I had thousands of HS taps in my house. I watched trailer tapes incessantly, and the trailer for Cutthroats nine it was dark and dingy and nasty and gritty and like one, there's no way this film can live up to this. Well, guess what it lives up to that trailer. It is a definitely a film you got to see if I'm seen it yet. But like it came out on DVD, say probably ten years ago when out of print, and it really needs to have a really big deluxe re issue

for it. I feel like code Red may have put that out. Yeah, yeah, I think code Red maybe DVD only. I can't remember a Blu ray coming out for that. I once again, I you know, so much comes in, I can't so much goes out, So I can't. What I was getting at with that is a lot of Code Red titles are getting announced with better releases over the last time. That's correct. Yeah, would not be surprising at all if that was bundled in with something else,

correct. Yeah. Well, speaking of Leoni, we're gonna be talking about him tonight, so let's get into some announcements. Oh, I know it's ye, yeah, I know, Wians you're talking about a first up this week, we have a flower Drum Song coming from Keno Larber. This is coming on May twenty fourth. This is a Rogers and Hammerstein's film. This is getting an audio commentary by starring Nancy Kwan with film historian Nick Redman involved, a whole bunch of special features surprisingly on this one, and we

are we've been due for a good release of this film. Are you familiar with this one? I have? Yeah, I personally haven't seen it, but you know, keino Is is kind of our dark horse label for us. You know, they just do quality, amazing work all the time. Kind of don't get the cadoos that a lot of the other places do, but that they're it's the fact that they're putting everything out, you know, it's like they're not focusing on one genre or anything like that. Yeah,

excited for this one. It's hard to argue with when they put out five quality titles every single week. Yeah. Yeah, all right. So Flower Drum Song coming at the end of May. Next up, we got announcement that Fractured Visions is putting out nineteen ninety seven's Doberman. This is with Vincent Cassel and Monica Balucci, both from Irreversible and for those that don't know. Doberman is the world's most ruthless bank robber and with his gang rob bank after

bank. Now in Paris, what can the police be but to let the mad, morally bankrupt police commissioner loose on him. And Fractured Visions. They've put out I think three or four titles so far. They do pretty damn good work that the track record for them has been great so far. So we're we're very happy about this. Yeah, and I believe you've carried Fractured Visions. You should have this one right. Oh yeah, we'll definitely carry it for sure, a lot, a lot of it. I immediately place

a huge order for this title. Yeah, good, good to hear. Next up from Keno, we are getting Search for Beauty. This is a classic from nineteen thirty four with Ida Lupino and this is directed by Earl Kenton who did Who Done It? And House of Frankenstein. I'm not familiar with this one at all me neither. Great pedigree though, so I'll see what happens. Yeah, huge pedigree, but I'm this is a big blank spot for me. He's the thirties and forties, Yeah, outside of horror and

then like you know, like some of the musicals and stuff. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, some of the noir, but that's about us as far as I go. But what I am familiar with. We are getting The Mad Magician from Tina Larber. This is coming in three D and two D and I cannot wait. I adore Vincent Price. Yeah, same here. He's one of our heroes for sure. He is so much so that it's even within arm's reach. I've got a little buzz watching over

me all the time. Yeah, I should have been. I should have been wearing my witch Finder General shirts, but I am not wearing it tonight. But which Finder General is a god? That's a classic. I love so good. This one was released previously by Indicator, but that one was not in three D. They only had the two D and this is gonna

be I mean, Keno does really good three D work. They generally have the three D film archive in to restore it really to perfection, and they've put out I want to say, four or five in the last couple of years, and they are just every single time out of the park. Yeah. Yeah, it's kind of surprising that that people still are releasing because like the three D craze that hit the theaters has kind of died out a little bit, well a lot really, so it's great for them to keep doing

it, you know, for the fans. And they're not even producing three D TVs in the US, which is sad, that's right. Yeah, we get a lot of requests for three D movies, which we of course buy use for people all the time, so so they still popular. But you know, people are having especially imports on three D. They still do a lot of three D overseas. Yep, yep. Next up, we got a whole bunch of announcements from Umbrella, which seems to be doing pretty well for you guys. Yeah, yeah, we were able to get to

We like finding things. We also like finding cheaper things, so we had Australia titles first through an American distributor that was pretty pricey, but we were able to go straight to the source and able to get them at a much better price, and of course we pass the savings on to you guys. But yeah, yeah, you know, it's mainly Umbrella Imprint down there right now, a few other places like Madman and things like that, right, and I personally love Imprint. I somehow have almost kept up on all of

them. And everybody always asked, how do you get imprint because it's so expensive for shipping direct and I always say Orbit, because there are a couple other places that sell them, but most of them go through that American distributor, which if you go to those other places, they're at least ten dollars per title more just for a single movie from Imprint. So you guys are

might go to easily for imprint. Yeah. Yeah. Australia has had a tough time with COVID and we've we've seen a lot of production delays and shipping delays and things like that, but it seems like that, you know, worldwide, it's petering out. So the releases have been more you know, people say, what this is supposed to be coming out on the twenty second. I said, well, they say it's supposed to be coming out on the twenty second, We hopefully will see it by the twenty second. It

might be right the next twenty second you see it. But it seems like that they're they're they're hitting the street dates here past couple of months, so fingers cross out continue. I have noticed and improvement, So that's a good thing. Yeah, so let's dive into these. This one is one of the April titles from Umbrella. This is Blue is the Warmest Color from twenty thirteen. I believe this has a Criterion re release already. Is this is

coming as part of the Sensual Cinema line. And this is I think the third or fourth one of these, and a lot of people are jumping on these as one of those. I gotta get them all since it's such a young line, just grabbing everything. This one is Adele's life is changed when she meets Emma, a young woman with blue hair, who will allow her to discover desire and to assume herself as a woman and as an adult in front of others. Adele grows, seeks herself, loses herself, and ultimately

finds herself through love and loss. And I believe all of these are old archival extra is nothing brand new here, but still if you don't have it, this will actually probably be cheaper through Umbrella. What we tell people is the Umbrella releases are sometimes considerably cheaper than the American counterparts out there, and for the vast majority of time, I think almost all from Umbrella have been region free so far pretty much everything from Australia. I don't think we really

run into anything. Someone mentioned one title from a few years ago, but like pretty much every single Austraian release has been reaching free. I guess that's whatever their copyright laws are with it down there, which which is astonishing. I'm glad that it's like that. Yeah. Next up from Umbrella, a very familiar title for a lot of us. On April sixth, as part of their Beyond Genre's line, we are getting Child's Play. This is the

original. This is the seventeenth Beyond Genre's title, and they seem to be ramping up these Beyond Genre's one. I would liken these two like a screen factory collector's edition type of release. It comes with a good slip cover, comes with usually a fair amount of extras, and this one is not an

exception. This has an audio commentary, sorry to audio commentaries with scene specific Chucky commentaries, and then a introducing Chucky, the making of Child's Play, behind the scenes, special effects footage, and all kinds of other stuff. And if you happen to be one of the lucky that is the first one hundred to pre order this from Umbrella directly, which has probably gone already, but they are also giving away a child's play air freshener with the Yeah,

so orbit'll have this one undoubtedly. Oh yeah, it looks great. This looks like a really good release, and the Screen Factory release is getting hard to find, and this will probably be higher quality than the studio release that is out there in the US now. Yah, yeah, yeah, I think that it's beIN out print for a couple of years now, right, the yeah, screen Factory. Yeah, and that screen Factory one was everywhere that I mean, you used to be able to get, you know,

fifteen copies at best Buy at once, but not anymore. Yeah, we gotta bunch in. But they somehow repackaged them so like a warehouse label was actually under the shrink wrap, and it's like, what can you do? But geez, Yeah, they're still sitting in our closet somewhere. It's next up from Umbrella, another one of their lines. They're doing the oz Ployitation

classic titles oz Ployitation. That is a word. This is a Harlequin from nineteen eighty and important to point out this is another young lie from Umbrella. This only started just a few months ago. I think this is number like four or five in the honsplitation classics. And this is from nineteen eighty and most likely going to be region free as well, since most of them are.

And this has again a lot of stuff on here, but this is a title less people are associated with, so I'm gonna go to the synopsis for everybody. In this supernatural political thriller, a hypnotic faith healer wolf saves the life of the son of a wealthy government senator being groomed for power, before both the senator and his wife fall prey to the enigmatic Harlequin's spellbinding powers

of manipulation. A modern day reworking of the story of mad Monk Grigory Rasputen, the faith healer and mystic who held a darkly charismatic influence over the Russian Zar. This atmospheric chiller and the tradition of Rosemary's Baby and the Omen both dazzling special effects and a top notch international cast headed by Robert Powell, David Hemmings and Academy Award winner Brodrick Crawford. And this is a again a chock

full release. They've got the extended not quite Hollywood interviews They've got a two thousand and four audio commentary with the director and producer, archival interviews with the actors, audio interviews with the director, osploitation retrospective, interview with critic Kim Newman, who is always great and you know all the stuff that's always on there, like Stell's poster gallery trailers, but this is one. I don't

think there's a US counterpart to this release. That's I think. Yeah, yeah, I want to say, maybe eighty eight films just releases too. I can't remember somebody like that. Yeah, yeah, I could probably find it out here real quick. But like, yeah, I love the ospitage, you know, this is of course is this is I think Umbrella is

time to shine putting out the osploitation classics. You know, it's like on this this is our wheelhouse, this is us, you know, so like like these the films in this line are amazing, and they are packed, like you said, the absolutely packed with extras, and definitely we're checking out and I never I never see either of I I've heard a lot of really good things about this one, but I've never seen a good release, so I've been holding out. Next up from them, they got a retro horror

double feature. Just wanted everybody to know if you don't have either of these, this would be a good sort of budget way to purchase these. We got Island of Lost Souls and then The Black Cat. That's the one with Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi and that is their retro volume four yep. And then speaking of oz Ploitation Classics, one of the most famous Australian films of all time, they are putting out Long Weekend from nineteen seventy eight as part

of their oz Ploitation Classics line. And this is an immediate purchase for me the day that it hits orbit. I cannot wait to get this one. Have you seen Long Weekend? Oh yeah, of course, of course. Yeah. This is you know, like when they talk about the ousploitation films, you know that this is always up there and they must see. So I saw this a long time ago. I need to rewatch it actually, because you know, it deals with themes that perhaps an older person like myself

can probably appreciate more than a twenty twenty year old self can do. But uh right, yeah, yeah, this is this is a fantastic movie. And this This is exactly what I when I'm thinking Australian films, what I want to see. Basically, Yep, this is this is basically what I would say is the epitome of this line. If you want authorisation classics, this is the definition. And a really cool thing is it appears that it's coming with the original soundtrack CD, which is an exclusive. I don't think

the US release had that at all. Okay, nice, So that is a really good one. Coming next up from them a Marx Brothers collection. This is covering nineteen twenty nine and nineteen thirty three, and it's all of the biggest titles that you think of when you think of the Marx Brothers. We've got the Coconuts, Animal Crackers, Monkey Business, Horse Feathers and of course Duck Soup. And I would assume that most people have seen at least one Marx Brothers film, but if not, this is a really good way

to get five of the best out there all in one little release. And I imagine this will be again fairly cheap through Orbit. Yeah. Yeah, I think this is a pretty affordable line. Uh we We love of course of horror films. That's what I've sort of attracted this to finding you know, these releases from other countries. But we started dipping our toe into like

classic comedies and and and and whatnot. And we have been very, very surprised on the reaction from you guys basically of these films, because like, you know, this has been repackaged to death. Uh so MGM or Warner Brothers ever got who has Arrow actually in the UK too? That's right, That's that's right. Yeah, yeah, But we started carrying like say, Buster Keaton films, Lauren Hardy films and whatnot, and you guys are just gobbling these up, like we we can't keep them in uh, we have

to reorder them every week. And that makes me so happy to hear. I'm extremely extremely happy about that. And it just shows how the you know, how universal physical media collecting is. You know, it's not it's not just honed in on one you know genre out there. It's everything and people people want to collect the stuff, they will they'll keep going back to. And all these films by the Marx Brothers are stone cold classics for sure.

Yeah. I did want to say before I keep going too much. I am seeing everybody's questions on the comments We're going to go back to those after the announcements. Keep them coming in. I'm not ignoring you. The show is all about interaction. It is the way everything's set up. It's nearly impossible to to do the announcements and the questions at once, so we'll come back to the questions. Keep them coming. Next up, another new line

from Umbrella. I think this is only second or third release. That third one. This is Films of Fear. Oh, that's right, because one of them isn't even out yet. Yeah, so this is Films of Fury. This is their third release, The Way of the Dragon from nineteen seventy two with a little known guy called Bruce Lee. Some people have heard of him. Probably, This obviously is going to be a really good release.

Same thing got a slipcover on it. There's a feature documentary, Iron Fist and Kung Fu Kicks, Celebrities, interviews including Samo Hung, somebody that we've talked about quite a lot on this channel, Simon Yea and Paul puy Wang, Jing Flora Chong, Clarence Fock, Rocky Lye, alternate opening trailers from Hell, and then one of the biggest osploitation names of all time Australian director

Brian Trenchard Smith on the Way of the Dragon given an interview there. But this is obviously a classic and if you've not seen it, this is the perfect way to pick this up. Yeah, this, this line actually has been a little disappointing for us. We've that you guys were chopping all over it. But I guess you've got the criterion set at half price. Yeah, that's a good point, a point down the line. But like they're putting enough great extras on these on these discs, I think weren't picking them

up for sure. Yeah, and I mean more Bruce Lee is probably coming soon, I would imagine, of course. Yeah. Another one of Umbrella's lines is Sunburnt Screens and this is number nineteen in that line with a couple familiar faces. You've got Heath Ledger on the front here. Rose Byrn is also in this film, as you can see there as a very young Rose

burn. This is from nineteen ninety nine called Two Hands. When young struggling go getter Jimmy is offered the shot of a lifetime working for local crime boss Pando. He grabs it with both hands, but not everything goes to plan, and when his special delivery goes missing a package of ten thousand dollars, he finds himself in a whole lot of trouble with the boss and in desperate

need of help. Sunburnt Screens has been a really interesting collection. I'd say that they are There are a lot of films that have been overlooked that are surprisingly high quality, and uh, this one really important to highlight this Four brand new features here that are only on this release, all new interviews with a producer, director, actor Brian Brown, and actor David Field. And then of course there's original cast and crew interviews, behind the scenes featurettes,

and then all the other stuff that comes on every release. This looks like a really good release of this film. Yeah, and I'm not familiar with this, and I think that's a great thing about this line is the fact that like, you know, we were like going order what get this? Huh? Well, you know it's like we pick it up and it's like, oh, we're we sold out. We sold out, we sold out. So you know, people have heard about these films, or they're just

collecting the line or or you know whatever. But but yeah, it's it's just been it's been great getting these in. Brian Brown has had a very good week this week, I can you know tell you that too. So. And then obviously a lot of their their films that they're putting out on this they to have at least one really big name in every film. And when you've got a name like Keith Ledger, everybody flocks to him nowadays, of course. Yeah, I assume this will do very well at Orbit.

Oh yeah, yeah, for sure. And then one more from Sunburned Screens. This is number twenty. This is the Light Horseman. Have you seen this one? I have not, oh heard about it. I see it now. One thing to point out there is a longer cut out there. I don't know if it's actually on home video, but this one is the cut version that they are also releasing. It's a good like twelve or fourteen

minutes shorter or two. But this one is in the great Australian spirit of courage and high adventure, comes a true blue legend from the creators of far

Lap and the Man from Snowy River. Four gallop men of the Australian Light Horse Regiment are thrust into the last great cavalry charge when the British campaign and Palestine becomes a steal meat in nineteen seventeen and a desperate attempt to aid the Allies cause eight hundred young Australian horsemen set off against gunfire and insurmountable odds in a last ditch attempt to save the attacking British soldiers from ineminent annihilation by the

Turco German Army. And then this one also has a couple new interviews with the producer and with the directors, and it does have an archival commentary with the director, So lots of good stuff again on this release. We charge of the Light Brigade came from. Perhaps that is exactly the first thing I thought, at least one person saying that it's love for a great time and a great movie, so I will definitely be looking into that one. Yep.

But oh man, I think this might be the release announcement that excited me the most this week. We got coming in on May thirtieth from Fractured Visions, twenty nine Palms. This is from two thousand and three fairly recent film. David is scouting locations for a film shoot. Katia is his girlfriend and a willing travel companion. Together they journey through the barren landscape of twenty

nine Palms, fighting, making love, arguing and making up. Yet there is a darkness following them, an ever present danger that is waiting to catch up with them, even in the middle of nowhere. Now this is Fracture. Visions is proud to present French provocateur Bruno Dumont's brutal experimental horror in HD

to the UK for the very first time. A film that was divisive now as it was upon release, Twenty nine Palms remains is most stunning and daring work to date, and this is coming in their classic already classic super special editions with the slipcase, new artwork booklet, six art cards limited to two thousand units, and all kinds of special features. I don't think I've seen this one. Have you seen this one? I have not seen this one

now, and it sounds intriguing as hell. I was actually born and raised in California and grew up probably about an hour away from the city of twenty nine Palms, and that city is scary as hell because it's in the middle of ba A lot of people are familiar with twenty nine Palms because there's a marine base out there, so they got family members or they know somebody that

went there, or they were in the Marines, whatever. But there is nothing for miles in every direction from twenty nine Palms, so this one is certainly intriguing. Yeah. Yeah, we're excited about this one too. Good. Next up is Mascer video title Phantom Killer two coming on DVD from Mascer.

This is gonna be the cover art on it and a new widescreen master totally uncut infamous polish jhallo by director Roman Nowiki, I believe they put out the first Phantom Killer, but yeah, now they're putting out Phantom Killer too. I imagine this is not one you've spent a lot of time with me personally, now I haven't. We're trying to get all the Massacre videos in because you guys really want them, so we'll get this one for sure.

The hard part with Massacre is that they they take a long time to ship sometimes, but it seems like the distributor will get them to places like Orbit very early. So if you're wanting something on time or in a lot of times early, Orbit is kind of the place to go. And they're not gonna spread that word, but I'll spread. That's fine, Yeah, yeah, yeah, excited about that. Obviously, there was a flash cell for Criteria this week, but that's over, so we're gonna skip over that.

Let's get into the fun ones for Mark. So coming on May thirty, first in a Kino Lober slipcover, wonderful title in beautiful four K A fistful of dollars? What'd you tell us about this one? Mark, Well, it's it's the one that started, all right. I mean it's the film that started Clint Eastwood, it started, It's the spaghetti western craze. It started started everything. Yeah, it was brutal, it was violence for the time, and it really sort of pushed I think film forward tremendously. And

it's super excited about this one for sure. This is a great announcement. Again, this is going to be a two disc release. Disc one is going to be the four K with over Well, first off, I find it kind of weird that they list this like it's an extra. Over twenty four hours of extensive shot by shot color grading of the logarithmic restored by four K files provided by the Italian company. That's not an extra, that's just restoring the film. This has an audio commentary on the four K disc by

Tim Lucas, who is incredible. Audio commentary by noted film is Story and Sir Christopher Freeling. And this is coming with a five point one surround and two point zero mono sound options subtitles of course, and this is coming. They're not sparing any expense on this. This is a UHD hundred gigabyte disc, which means it will look wonderful. It's not going to be compressed or anything like that. Yeah, the Good, Bad Ugly is my favorite four

K release so far. Is this stunning? Stunning? So what do you think of the Jango four K? Django? I like a lot, not as much as is is a Good, Bad and the Ugly, but yeah, looks good. Yeah. A lot of a lot of the Django thing has to do with timing, I think out there and just you know, these these sort of stutter stops of like okay, it's out on Blu ray,

it's gone, it's out. Oh wait, we got the four K. My guess is they probably were planning a longer window between the two, and I think that this sort of frustrated a lot of fans out there. Yeah, I uh, obviously that's a long and storied thing. But yeah, I'm so glad that we got the good, the bad, and the ugly. And I guarantee, obviously I can't see it because I'm looking at the announcements right now. I guarantee at least one person is saying, let's

just repackage them all and get it over with. But we're gonna talk about the third one in just a minute. First, I want to get over the the Blu ray disc is going to have the film on Blu Ray audio commentary by Tim Lucas and Christopher Frayling that are on the four K disc. But then all kinds of extra uh, all kinds of extra extras. We've got interview with the actress Mary Anne Cook, the Christopher Failing Archives, A Fistful of Dollars, New kind of Hero. Clint Eastwood on the experience of

making the film Three Friends, Remember Sergio Leoni not ready for Primetime. Renowned filmmaker Monti Hellman discusses the television broadcast of A Fistful of Dollars. I've never seen that feature ed. I definitely need to see that one. The Network prologue with Harry Dean stanton location comparisons from then to now, Trailers from Hell, fistful in pictures, Image Gallery outtakes all kinds of stuff. This is this is just gonna be a loaded release and if you are into the style

of film, not one to miss. And I'm sure they'll make more slip covers than they did. A good, good Beat and the Ugly. I remember that ding a hot, hot commodity there. I laughed, because the what, the bad and the Ugly is the first Kenot title where the slipcover suddenly cost a ton on eBay. Yeah, within like two months of release. It was literally over one hundred dollars. Yeah. And I was talking to him about slipcovers and they said, we we made a mistake. I

said, so did I. I did not order enough. But because like we had our initial a lot man, which is a decent amount, and we weren't as popular than as we were now. But you know, we we we got a restock like two weeks later and they were gone slipcovers. But like she just got hammered by emails and phone calls. Do you have the slip cover, you have the slip cover, you have the slip covers? Like no, Well, I personally do have a slipcover, but not

for you. Sorry, and that's uh. I'm not sure we're gonna be talking about it later. But that is one of the best things about Orbit is for all the people that are super hooked on slipcovers, Orbit will tell you when you're purchasing something if they have a lot man with the slipcover or not, and not everybody will do that, so it's not a gamble. If you are on Orbit, you can look and see if it has a

slip or not. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. We want to change or give us give ourselves a tagline saying, you know, Orbit, we're as anal as you are, basically, but we like having all we like having all the information out in this title for you to see, basically, which is genuinely appreciated. I guarantee you. Oh yeah, thank you. One of these great sets is a time for us to talk about Now we are

getting on June twentieth only in the UK. Now that Indicators also putting out releases in the US, A lot of people past is this coming to the US. It is not. We are getting Colombia Noire number five. Humphrey Bogart Specifically, this is only coming to the UK, but I guarantee Orbit we'll have some of these to purchase. This is coming on June twentieth, and the titles in this are Dead Reckoning, Siroco, Knock on Any Door, The Family Secret, Tokyo Jore, Sorry, Tokyo Joe, and The

Harder They Fall? Are you into Humphrey Boguard at all? I am? I mean, you know, I appreciate him and of me, it's mainly more just the films itself and him. I think I've seen about half of these and they're they're fun, they're good. This is a great set. This is a great line for us. We love the New Mars set from them for sure, and a lot of people are getting more into noir.

Keno's releasing a ton of noir. They've already announced. I think they're up to five or six that they've announced from their line, but we already know that they're doing like twelve of those, so there's a ton coming. There's so many, you know, because you had high budget and then you had this bottom of the barrel films, just hundreds and hundreds being released for a while. That's very true. The other Indicator title that's coming out in June.

This one is coming in the US as well as the UK. And this is Pastor Hall. I have not seen this one, but it sounds surprisingly great. This says. This is the world Blu Ray premiere of Ray Bolting's Uncompromising Pastor Hall from nineteen forty. This is coming on the twentieth of

June and the UK twenty first. In the US and Canada, this bold stirring tale is based on the true story of Protestant Minister Martin Niemohler and is one of the first anti Nazi dramas ever made, having had its original production delayed by British sensors who were not yet ready to be openly critical of Hitler's regime. This was unavailable for many years and is now newly restored from a four K scan of the nitrate duplicate negative by Powerhouse Indicator. Sounds great to

me. I've not seen this obviously, it's been hard to find. Healys let's good. Yeah, yeah, And obviously this is gonna be limited edition for their first Usually it's like two or three thousand titles. But again, Orbit should have this in stockhom nowhere. Uh. Speaking of the UK, coming on April twenty fifth from one oh one Films as part of their black label in a really loud slipcase design. This is Johnny Namonic from nineteen ninety

five, starring Keanu Reeves and this should have been released last year. The synopsis for this one says It's the year twenty twenty one and Johnny is a data courier with a secret. He is carrying a dangerous stash of information in his mind and must race against time, money, and gangsters to deliver the package and save himself. Accompanied by physically enhanced bodyguard Jane, Johnny sets out

to acquire the passwords he needs to save himself. Worse yet, he is hunted by gangster Shinje and businessman Takahashi, both of whom seek the data that Johnny possesses. And these black label releases that they put out generally are pretty

loaded. This one's gonna have an audio commentary by Rich Johnson, limited booklet They've Got set of six art cards, and then a short film adaptation of William Gibson's short story The Gernsback Continuum director commentary, Japanese director's cut in SD, some featurettes, behind the scenes and music video are you and to Keanu Reeves or Johnny Namonic Jo, Yeah, it is good. I'm more into one oh one Films though. That's that they are. They're doing the Lord's

work. Basically. They are putting out every release like this is just an amazingly packed, beautiful just you know, the moment you take to sell a phane off to to pop in the disc in. It's just this wonderful. And and I saw that cover thing today, I said, I need twice as many as I normally wonder from one oh one because and I did. I ordered a lot of these because it's this could be a huge hit for sure. And uh, one on one Films has stepped up their game quite

a bit. Uh. At the beginning, they were kind of a low key sleeper label, not many people getting stuff from them, and then suddenly they're putting out some great releases like the last broadcast. I feel like that was had to do pretty well for you guys. You sold out. It's

done very well. Yeah, and uh on top of that, a lot of people may not know this because it was kind of quiet last year, but they with that last broadcast release, they silently sort of said that they're coming to the US later this year, and the last broadcast is going to be a US release, So an eye out on that, which is weird because's finer syndrome too, right, So say it's the same film camera the last broadcast is that one on one film's put it out in the UK and

then they're putting it out themsels okay, okay, gotcha, gotcha? And oh I thought that was the next one. Scorpion Releasing is putting out Jude with Kate Winslet on May twenty fourth. I still find this very odd because of the year this came out was ninety six and Kate Winslet is playing second fiddle to Christopher Eckleston here. Yeah, I normally cite this, uh when whenever I see a discussion online. It's like the most oppressing film ever made.

Normally have you have you seen this? I believe I did back in the day. I don't remember it. Will it is it is? I mean, you know, it's it's stark. You know, it's a real, very real film. And and winter Bottom, the director, Michael Winterbottom was definitely a hero of ours when I first opened the video store up because he covered so many genres as far as the director, he did westerns,

he did sci fi. He he did that film with it nine songs that had you know, explicit sex scenes in it and stuff at twenty four hour twenty four hour party people. You know, it's like this really forward thinking, this amazing director and stuff. And this is an earlier work of his. And like I said, it's a brilliant film. It's amazing film. But I honestly can't imagine owning it unless you want to kill a party, you know, as like I said, everybody out, I'm popping in,

you know, popping Jude and parties over. This is a it's got a reverse cover. This is the other side. And I just again, it's so odd tos see Kate Winslett playing second to Christopher eckleson On here. Let's see. So for those that are curious, when he he says it's dark and deep. This is what the synopsis says. After a brief but unhappy marriage to the daughter of a local pig farmer, he moves to chris Christminster

to be closer to his beloved scholars. There he meets and falls totally in love with his cousin, Sue Bridehead a thoroughly modern young woman who's wit and beauty captivate him. When they join in an illicit union that flo out society's conventions, fate takes a tragic turn. Juda is a mesmerizing romantic drama that explores themes of class, education, religion, marriage, and morality in Victorian England. And I might get it. Oh it's been too long. I

don't. Please do, please do. I'm daring you to buy it. Remember that we do buy movies to the mail too, So if you want to sell us anything back, like Jude, you know, feel free. That was going to be mentioned a little while. Thanks for bringing up. Yeah, we'll come back to that part because I want to hit that part

home. Oh sure, yeah, but first I want to hit home for a few dollars More so Keno. They also announced within the same week that we are getting for a few Dollars More from nineteen sixty five in four K and again going all out disc one four K on a one hundred gigabyte disc.

This is or one hundred gigabit disc. This is the complete restored edit of For a Few Dollars More with extensive shot by shot color grading, audio commentary, by Tim Lucas and Christopher Frahling again newly corrected mono and five point one surround audio, and then the disc two Blu ray has all of that same stuff, and then on top of that a whole bunch of extra features that are not on the four K disc, very similar to the one we

just talked about. But one thing I wanted to put out is that there is new correctly synked two point oh mono and five point one surround audio on three restored scenes. Manda's first close up is now fully unedited, Indio's laugh is now fully unedited, and the beating scene is restored in its full unedited form, which is a huge win for home video. Right, I had a major problem with that beating scene being out of sync. Now now I'm happy that it's happening. No, what what's again? You know? Bravo

Kino, you you're you know, you're doing amazing work. And no, definitely definitely be in my collection for sure. Well, obviously, Italian cinema is known for being perfectly in sync, So I can't wait. I can upset when it isn't sink. I'm like going, what are they doing? I can't imagine watching a movie like like Pieces or something like that where the language would actually match up with the with the mouth movement. Uh. We

got one last announcement today and it was just kind of a tease. Lechet Coifume from France is going to be putting out Lose the Flower of Evil. Uh. This is one that our label that we've talked about twice already. Tonight, Fractured Visions put that out and Orbit carried that one, and uh, it's a pretty decent film and just a little bit of a tease. The director may be on the channel here soon. Been talking to him,

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we we've chatted a few times. I want to try to we've been trying to work out a deal and get some of his posters and stuff. A great guy, and uh, yeah, we really enjoyed this film. We were fans of it and happy to see another country putting it out. It's two we have already. And on top of that, he let me know in a couple of messages that it's not the only one. It's also coming to all kinds of places. But he sells the shit out of this movie. He is everywhere. He's treating it like

a roadshow. He goes it is. Yeah, I appreciate that out of him, But like, I want to see start working on the next film, you know exactly. That's all I want to say, and that I mean that came out and what I think it was twenty nineteen. Yeah, and you know it's been some time, make another one, right, well, you know it's you can't tell people what to do, you know, but filmmakers, I personally know some of them really like him, really do work the film, and then some of the people like going, I'm done

with this, I'm done. I'm moving on to the next one, you know. So so yeah, I'm excited to see what he does next. I think he's one of the more exciting new directors out there working today. And he is again very approachable. So somebody like this, it would be really interesting to see the entire process of filmmaking, because he made very well. Now that he's gotten a little bit more of a following, may be sharing a lot more of the most films. That'd be great because he you

don't see that all the time, for sure. I agree. One thing that we always share after the announcements is what's coming out next week In case any of you passed on some of them or maybe forgot what's coming out. But the cool thing tonight is we're literally talking to a retailer who has about half of these that you can purchase right now. So let's start talking about

some of these. Next week sees the release of an American Werewolf in London and four K from Arrow, The Sword and the Sorcerer and four K from Screen Factory, The Apartment in four K from Keno larber Les Circle Rouge and four K from Critel. There are so many four K titles. I love this West Side Stories coming out not boutique, but Dream Little Dream from vest Ron will be here next week. Red Rocket from A twenty four is one that a lot of people have been waiting for. That's a love that director

Sean Baker's incredible Chang project. He is also very approachable on social media. He is always willing to talk to people. Sean Baker is great. Awesome Nightmare one of the Hammer titles from Screen Factories coming out. Have not heard anything about shipping yet, but Contraband and Murder in a Blue World is slated to come out next week from Cauldron. I will see on that one starflight. I think that's a Code Red title. Uh, something like that.

Let's see anything else super special. Keno's got some of their old old titles coming like Rock Hudson and Strange Bedfellows. Zoot Suit is coming from Keno Fast Charlie. I think that's a code Red title as well. A lot of Code Red recently coming out with Keino helping them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they need it. You know, we we we love code Red and it's good. I don't know if Keno like has been nudging them a little bit, you know, but it's like, it's great, well loving what

you're putting out. Bill from code Red has not been in the best of health for yeah, so Tino must be uh must be doing a lot to help him. But it is normally about this time that we go over collection update and uh not to spring it on you. Have you gotten anything yourself recently that you want to share? Hmm, what have I brought home? I haven't watched Easy yet. Hang on, Yeah, you're good. Uh and uh, I'll look at a couple of these comments here before I go

back through all of them. John says, it's a big week, so we're in the Sorcerer Nightmare touch of Evil four K two, Cauldron and Death Game. Oh yeah, that's right. Death Game from Grindhouse Releasing should shipping next week as well. Oh yeah, yeah, and that's uh. I don't know when we're going to see that, but we will see it at some point. Uh yeah, we bought these off a customer came in the

store, and uh it's thoroughly enjoyable. To Michael J. Pollard films, Billy the Kid was a Punk and uh see this is mainly a Robert Redford film, but Little Fouls and Big Halsey. I never seen these before. There's so many seventies films that just like fall into the cracks. I mean, there's so many films that have fallen through the cracks, but the seventies that sort of outlaw filmmaker movement. That's that's kind of my jam. I

love. I love seeing as much as I can of that, and even from directors you never heard of, or or you know, films you never heard of. It's been kind of a joy revisiting a lot of these movies. And there's so many back then to discover. It's a lot of them were just easily overlooked back then and now getting huge releases nowadays, or even just to you know, small obscure releases but getting a following because people are

suddenly discovering them from fifty years later. Correct, Yeah, absolutely, So I to prepare for this, I went and got some male recently, and I happen to have an Orbit DVD package, and I figured, why open it, Let's just wait till Thursday. So I got this little special setup. Let's start a second camera here so that we can make this a little bigger for everybody. Where's mine. And I'd love to hear what you think about some of these, because some of these you are literally the only people

in the US that can get these or are selling any of these. Some of them are some bigger titles. Because I think two of the I'm a junkie Mark will be able to attest to this yeah order too many times. And these are two orders that were bought so close together that he said, let's just put them together. So the first one, this just came out recently. Kids in the Hall of Brain Candy. I am stoked to see

this restored and love Kids in the Hall. I am a sucker for some of the retro v chess packaging and I'm glad that a couple of these are on top, so we can get through these cheesy ones first. But they just got in a side out from Milk Free. All right, let let let let me ask something about side out. We had no idea. I have no idea what this film is. It just missed me somehow, and we can't keep it in. We it just sells out as soon as we

bring it back in. It's literally because of the slipcover probably, but a lot of people might recognize this cover as well. It's got to see Thomas Howell and uh, you know some some some decent imagery a PG thirteen film. So that that that's a kind of a lot of those are. Let's see this one I can't actually show on YouTube. Let's hold that to the side. Show us a spine. Come on, I will cover the good bits. So let's go through some of these. This is this is the

fancy package. Uh. I got these two and then to make my U three and get free shipping. I got in. I had an alert set for or the faceless media book from Germany. I've been wanting this for a very long time and not very easy to get media books in the US. Orbit has suddenly it feels like started getting those in. Is that a new thing for you guys? Yeah, I have the German films have been kind

of our white whale. We we would email the companies and of course you know that the rumor or that the word is that some of these companies are not putting out fully legitimate copies of these films. So but you know, I would email, say, say Coke or Cotch. I guess Cotch, which is a you know, big companies a Dash here are here too, uh? And then other smaller companies. And I said, do you sell direct or do you have a distributor that you can point me to to to

buy h German films? And absolutely every single one answered in a very German response, which is no. You know. So that that was about a year, year and a half. But then finally one company, UH said no, but talk to this guy. I'm like, oh, so we talked to the guy and the guy goes, yeah, I'm I'm the guy, and so it's like, okay, so so we have started stocking German films of course Austria uh. And he says he can get other films from

uh, from mainland Europe. Too. So so of course you know that our new white will is that company Cineamuseum, which is putting out these humongously beautiful expensive sets. Do you have one? Do you have a set? But but but but if you all are into this type of thing and you're seeing these scrolls come by of like a humongous Jaws or Exorcists or whatever, that cinema museum from uh there Italy. So so we're we said we would like some of these if you can get them, we'll take however, henry

copies you can give us and and we'll see what happens. Uh so yeah, yeah, it's happening. H oh sorry I'm not hearing you. Sorry, but now oh yeah, yeah, yeah, we're good. Okay, I wonderful because I removed that shouldn't have Okay, this is this is that, and uh this is the back. I'm curious. Let's see what was I gonna ask about this one? Uh? This I think had been sold out for a while. This. Uh was this one hard to get?

There? We go? Uh No it wasn't. Uh. We were told that as soon as we see like the the media announcements, to basically tell them how many copies we want like like now, you know, so, so that was the one they were like, when we want these, I believe it is out completely out now, so I don't think we can get any more copies of that one. Yep, that makes sense. And actually this is another one that had been out for a while, and I love the cover on this one. This is a hope can't show the back of

this one. This I believe is Blood on Satan's Claw in four K, and this is not one that you can get a four K release of in the US. Seven put this out and I think even that is either out of print or like convention stock only and you can get later le me with a psychomy. Yeah, had a little bits there and you can see everything else. Yeah. And this was confusing about about the German releases is I think that's one out of maybe six or eight covers you can get a Blood

on Satan's Claw. So it's like, Okay, what covers do people want? You know? So we've been sort of guessing or just sort of just reading, you know, on Facebook groups or whatever what people are excited about. And by the way, if you are on Facebook, there are all kinds of groups that you can get in that are either just appreciative of the media, books of steel, books of certain labels, and Mark is active in a lot of them and is eager to listen and find out what everybody

wants. Not only that, but he's also on Reddit. He is everywhere. Mark is somebody that is able to answer your questions no matter where you are. And I am glad that you were able to answer this one because I've been wanting to see this film all year, let alone in four K, I finally have Verhoven's Benedetta. Speaking of sexy titles that I'm not supposed to show on YouTube. Nothing crazy on this one, which is surprising considering

the film that it is. Yeah, yeah, and as far as I know, that's the only or maybe the first physical media release of that film. It's not in the UK. Yes, not in the US yet. My guess is we we're maybe trying to get some nominations out of it, and you know, it's not released stateside. Last one is the most naughty

one that I can't share, So let me Nightmare Symphony Media book. This is some really good art and that's the Germans really know how to do this right, and this is an example of something that Mark was just talking about. I think this one had three different covers, and the way that they go about these, it's so odd because some of them get you know, literally, this is not just me throwing a number out. They'll get one hundred and eleven releases of one cover, two hundred and twenty two of the

second one, and three hundred and thirty three of the third. And I imagine that by some point when you are able to get to these, a lot of them are sold already. So we're just lucky to have somebody like Mark who's able to get his hand on some of them. Yeah, And I would say it's the more the more we sell, the more well buy,

So you know, just keep that in mind. I love the German covers because a lot of them are based on, you know, even though there are newer films, they're based on sort of this classic fifties and sixties Aggar Wallace arts, these you know, thrillers that that were very popular in mainland Europe at the time. Before we get into the three hundred than forty seven questions that we've been asked, is there anything amazing that you've watched you want to touch on hmm, amazing or I think, really, I love

awful? Uh don't we all that? Not much? I mean I finally caught the egger Wright film was The Last Night soho. I just watched that recently too. Yeah, I really liked it. I thought it was great. I think maybe it didn't get the love that that a lot of his fans were expecting. I don't know, but but I it had everything in it. I thought it was a really good film. Are you too? And it felt to me like a fairly natural progression for everything that he's put

out so far. It's it's a I don't really want to say heady, but it is dense, like there's a lot of if you're paying attention, there's a lot of things that pay off in his films. Yeah. Yeah, and we watched we bought a four K of Silence of the Lambs keynot now. Now. This is one where you know, Kenot does exceptional work with four K. I I personally did not see much of a difference. Uh in the restoration. I'm sure it's there, and I'm sure if I

did a side by side analysis, I would see it. But I was never really sold on four K for older films until I saw The Dawn and the Dead four K, and it's like, now I get it. Yeah, yeah, I understand for sure. Jango was one of those for me that I used to watch Django, uh you know, fuzzy TV with my great grandfather for years and seeing that in four K was a revelation. Yeah. All right, let's see what some people are saying. One of the first comments was my wallet might be angry. I get that a lot.

I get that. Let me ask something especially with with with gas prices going up, and it's like when we we we all have hobbies, we all collect, we all you know, have things, but like, don't overextend yourself. Guys. Come on. You know. It's like like you could buy a five dollars movie and be happy you get that dopamine, or you know, you buy one hundred dollar movie. You know, but it's like, you know, don't don't put your don't put your life in in stress

buying these things. They'll they'll come around again, You'll get them. You know. It's like I I, uh, I clicked eight track tapes. I'm a big fan of a tract tapes and there's stuff I've been I've waited twenty years for but I get them. You know, it's like you just wait for the right opportunity and and you'll get these things. So so don't we're out right now. Yeah, all kinds of stuff is getting re released and people are getting upset. But in all reality, you think about all

the people that couldn't get that first release and now they're amazingly happy. Oh yeah, of course, of course. You know, it's like these will always be available again. You know, it's like either you know a used copy or you're in a trading group or whatever. It's like, just just be patient and these things will come to you for sure. Yeah. A friend of the channel started says, I'm family owned video stores felt like an extension of home. One of our viewers, Cohen, says, love the

new chat feature you guys added, let's see. Bubba Fett says Orbit is my favorite company. I think my post office hates me though, because I get so many Orbit boxes. Thanks for great service and packaging. This is Clinton from Mississippi. Thank you, Clinton. You think your postman hates you? Think about our postman like wait, wait, you think he feels because they we don't take the mail they pick it up. They we finally got this post guy who is amazing, He's very zin and he goes, this

is my job. I like my job. Like one finally, you know, it's like you're you're great. We gave him one hundred dollars gift card for Christmas and and part of it was a bribe, but but part of this is out of thanks. You know. It's like John, dude, you're you're You're perfect. You're don't leave us ever. And that that shows what kind of company Orbit is. So if you want to be somebody that uh that if you want to be involved with somebody that will treat others,

well that's that's the kind of company that you're getting with Orbit. Well you don't want piss off the mail guy, you know, not at all. That's very true. Bubba Fett says, I bought the Stevens Drewer Flutchy book today that you guys posted about on Facebook. Yeah, yeah, that that that's my I made a mistake of posting that period. But like you we sold out like in thirty minutes. I think, right, well, like this is this is one of those things where like we we found out like

Amazon had only has a paperback version of this for some strange reason. But the hardback has been available forever and and it been selling the hell out. That's a that's frustrating. And that's again another reason to not go Amazon. Not to mention it will come in perfect condition from Orbit. That is the

best thing all I saw this time. Yeah, and that's I mean the good shipping materials always ships in a box, not you don't have to worry about, you know, bubble mailer getting put in a polymailer and banged around on a USPS truck. I love effect that. Like our boxes are being used for in between you guys, when you're trading online and stuff like that. Our boxes are always being reused. I love it. I think it's great. I never get rid of them. Let's see question from collector eighty

five. Will Orbit ever do pre orders? That is our plan. I don't think we'll be able to extensively do it as as much as other companies are doing, like Diabolic or Grindhouse. The main thing is we want to make sure the system is set up perfectly before we get started. We don't want to you know, I don't want to cuss on here, I guess, but you know, I don't. I don't. I don't want to cluster fuck. You know, it's like we don't want a disaster. We want to do it right. It's also for us as a space is an

issue. We don't have a back room, per se or or a warehouse. Our warehouse is our sales floor basically, and we have two small offices upstairs that we use. But you know it's going to happen. I'd say it happened. It will happen sooner than you think, but it'll be far enough away to where we'll be able to do it it right. So so I would maybe look at at the very soonest uh, it'd be the summer releases, if not late summer releases. But I'm not one hundred percent about

that. This one, I imagine the answer is no. But sartist wants to know. Does Orbit have a physical catalog? We don't. And you know, I miss the days of getting video search of Miami physical catalogs a lot, a lot of a lot of these bootleg dealers back in the eighties and nineties had like xerox pages and I would just scan through. I'm like going, Oh, what's this el topo? What? What? What?

Is this, you know, this sounds amazing. Sometimes we'll have a cool little graphic like you know, really bad black and white photo next to something, but beis yeah, yeah, yeah, we we we don't we don't have anything like that. But you know, it's most of us online,

and we're looking for ways to better present ourselves online all the time. Well, and it's also difficult to keep up a physical catalog when you're selling out all the time of stuff that you're getting in and that's correct, that's correct. And you know, some of these titles like like for example, you know, the Fractured Visions lose we sold you know, we I think sold a tenth of the world's allotment of of of that film. Yeah, and no one knew. You know, it's like it's just like but you know,

it's like it it is gone. You know, it's like and it kind of stinks. Its like we have to like, you know, a lot a lot of you guys are are really rad about the social media presence we have showing you know, the stacks of the movies we get in.

We have to time that right because a lot of times some of those movies are gone, like like before we even like in five minutes or ten minutes, a lot of those movies could be gone now those stacks, so we have to really time or sales as far as receiving and then getting that shot and then and then getting it on social media before before did they disappear. Not to add to the problem or anything like that, but a little bit

of shameless self promotion myself here. I recently started a Patreon for the channel, and one of the things that I do is if you get the second or third tier, you get access to our discord. And in the discord, I have a channel set up for stock updates and ninety percent of the time it's hey, Orbit has the title go get it now if you want it, and half the time it's it's gone before people can get to it.

Other than other than the email notify me when available that's on Orbit site, I would say my discord is one of the best places to go to find out when Orbit stuff is in stock, other than other than their own pictures. Yeah, yeah, and I appreciate that, and you know it see you and other you know influencers out there that are that are really doing doing great work champiing smaller businesses like myself and and let of people know that we have these things. But yeah, thank you for that for sure.

And again it's it's really easy to do because some of these films are stuff that we can't get here. And one of the most important things for me

with Orbit is I don't have to worry about importing it myself. Orbit is taking that on and now I can get free shipping from Orbit, and you know, they're not, you know, as cheap as if you were buying direct necessarily, but I'm not paying twenty dollars a title to have them shipped to the US and then you know, get tracking that's going to take two and a half months to get here sometimes and then get lost and Orbit will

deliver in hand with bubble wrap and I will sleep soundly knowing that it's coming. Yeah. Yeah. The trick to ordering over seas, the course, is to order a lot to really take the bite out of shipping, which

of course we do. But but you as as a singular buyer, and you know, I know a lot of people wait for you know, to order from Ada Films or whatever to get like maybe ten titles at a time, just so that shipping is twenty dollars per film out there, so yeah, yeah, and that's a obviously it's a lot easier to lose a single package than it is to lose a palette. So that's happened, I would

imagine. So let's see what else we got going on. I remember watching a movie as a kid where a person like this cuts off a finger and eats it like a carrot at a party. I think they were talking about Harlequin. Oh, okay, see that that or the uh the scary story is a telling dark It was only a couple of years old, so yeah, toe stew or whatever they have. Now, let's see look at that.

I said, somebody probably saying that they need to put them all together and release it, and Schartist took care of that for me, so thank you. Jeff says they will do that trilogy after it is released individual individually, we'll see, you know, yeah, they'll they'll there'll be a three, than a four, than a five pack. Yeah, I've seen all those happen before. Let's see. Nathan wants Keno to release one with Kelly

Preston and Patrick Dempsey another butte why not? Yeah? Uh. The US indicators so far have all been sneaky great and oddly, Indicator doesn't have a US story yet, so Orbit is one of the most reliable places to get them. Huh. Yeah, it just turned out, just by happenstance that are our main US supplier for for the titles is working in tandem with Indicator,

So it's worked out well for us. And it's funny because like the initial shipment we got from them back in January really was kind of soft, you know, but then I think once the word got out that hey, these are available in the States, it's really snowballed since then. Yeah. Uh DVD fan oh yes, says keep up the great work. Orbit. So much awesomeness in stock constantly and I can't beat that fast and three free

shipping. Yeah yeah, we like uh, I feel like that. We're kind of like Ninja's here, like we we like going to what strike fast. So so a lot of this stuff, like you know, we run out like one, let's get more, and then that runs out, like let's get more, let's get more, let's get more, let's get more. We're not in and this is maybe we're not having pre sales is one of the few things that works in our favor to where like we don't get a huge amount of titles, then we sell out and it's like, well,

okay, we'll move on to the next thing. We're like going, We're gonna keep getting this stuff until we can't get anymore. And it might be five copies here, it might be thirty copies there, whatever, you know. And but like we're ordering weekly bi weekly from from Europe, Australia sometimes and stuff like that, and Germany's taken like maybe twice a month. But but you know, we'll get there with them. But like you know,

like for us, it's like just quick strikes, you know. And that's why I think maybe we have these titles in stock more than like the Amazon's you see and stuff like that, or like it takes longer for them to get a palette together to come in and then put those in their distribution centers and whatnot. And again, cover your ears if need be, mark but a lot of these titles are in stock at Orbit about a week and a half half before release date, and not that he's breaking release date,

but if you see them in stock, you can purchase them. And Amazon has been calling pre orders or literally like pushing out relay states on some titles even though everyone else has them in stock, so if not reliable, it has them ordered them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm a little confused about you know, and I wonderful that this could be just just glitches in

their computers. I'm not quite sure. Uh. I try remember one title that had It's a big title that happened recently, maybe around Christmas, where like the official release date, we had it on the release date but Amazon

didn't have it. Could have been the Halloweens, that the four K Halloweens, because that was a major snaffoo there to where maybe they pushed back those release dates and that one it was a there was a screen factory era where they they got shipments of Halloween two to Best Buy and everybody was pissed off because they changed the release date for one out of five titles. That's right, and yeah, a whole bunch of places is going to get them.

But with the Amazon thing, I've noticed a lot of aero titles, the limited editions have been available from Diabolic and Orbit and Grindhouse and shipping, but Amazon will say like, we can't get it to you for three more weeks for some reason. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, like I said, I don't know how they do business. Yeah, but we we don't like sitting on things, so that's a good call. Sure you guys don't either. Yeah. Chester twenty two says, will you be getting any

more Turbo Kid in stock? I think that's the Raven Banner release. Which version? I mean, we have three different vhs you could buye come on you know? Yeah, Yeah, Rayda's banner is great. Got a great relationship with those guys, and they haven't really done anything. We usually wait till like they have some new releases out and then we'll just sue a huge restock. But yeah, Turbo Kid definitely will get more of those in yeah.

Here, speaking of stock questions, Bubba Fett wants to knows Orbit getting the Deluxe Dune release. I think it's from Cook. I think it's Cook Media. That thing looks incredible and I think that release has the missing documentary that was supposed to be on the Arrow release. Okay, yeah, I

I haven't asked about that one, of course. That that's I think that's probably the biggest company in Germany. I will inquire about that because there was they were maybe the first ones to have American Psycho forour K a few years ago, and I've been drooling over cock I guess ever since let's see startist asks we offer credit. Uh, not sure what that is getting at. I credit everybody, my life, very supportive, my kids, my staff is amazing. If you're talking about trading in movies, yes I do that.

Yes I do that. If that's what you're talking about, So let's talk about that, because I was gonna bring that up, Like I said, Orbit, as far as I'm aware, is the only reliable place that I know of that if you have boutique releases, you can physically send them and Mark will give you credit in the store, or I believe you'll send cash to basically right, I'll do cash a credit. Yeah, I mean

that. This is just an extension of our our normal daily business. I've always bought movies from people since day one, and uh, you know, I'm like, I think, early on doing the mail order stuff, it's like going, well, let's let's see what happens. So I put the feelers out there and and and you know is uh you know some heavy hitting customers like you that initially started that. And then you know, I think

we're good out that that we're fair. You know, we're not gonna be like trying to get some chains that buy movies a bull Moose or maybe half price books I think is another one or whatever that that are going. Really you know that the prices aren't great, you know, Like I always tell people though, it's like I said, the best way to make if if you're looking to make money, it's a trade amongst your cells or sell it yourself. And that's still gonna be the number one way that that you can

maximize your your dollar. However, Uh, if you just want to get rid of their you know, some bunch of stuff in one fil swoop, Uh, you can email me, uh usually a list or photos as well. Uh it's webmail at orbdb dot com that that addresses on our website. And and I'll give you a quote. If you don't hear from me in a couple of days, feel free to poke me again. I'm not offended by that. Like you said, I'm on everything, so my brain gets

scattered with the day to day operations of the store sometimes. But uh yeah, yeah, and and it's not just related to uh to movies. We buy video games from people. I know a lot of people are shifting collecting video games to movies and and vice versa for that matter. And uh, we buy, We bought plenty of games from people, bought collectible items from people. We just bought uh uh someone milled in uh another actually they drove

this up. It was the fulchy bobbleheads and stuff. You know. But like, uh, you know, like I'm into that stuff as well, anything that's collectible. I would say, you know, the one thing that is frustrating from with me and and the customer is, uh, autographs really don't have a value to them. Uh. The value is you personally going to the convention and paying the money and meeting the person and talking to them and having him sign that. It's astronomically higher value to you than the meat

buying and selling to somebody else. Plus, you know, if you said two rob on there, I have to find a rob that that that's am as a toom Savini fan uh out there as well. So but anyway, like yeah, yeah, and you know it give me normal movies as well. Uh you know, all y'all unloading mnhul and drive right now. You know. So sometimes prices might be lower than other ones, but but yeah,

I'm always buying stuff for cash or credit. Bubba says, I was ordering from the UK for eighty eight films in Eureka, but I'm going to just get them from Orbit from now on. Jeff wants to know has the supply chain issues affected you at all other than the obvious like delays on release

dates. Well, yeah, I mean like that, there's really only one country we're having a problem, and we're just we just mentioned that a few minutes ago, which is Australia. Australia is the only one that there was a really dramatic effect on the production and shipping of the product because I think they had that they were getting absolutely hammered by COVID like more than we were and h and they had really install some some stricter guidelines here for a long

time. I'd say probably, I think they just got out of it. You know. It's been really bad, yeah for them, So really for us, it's not really what you not think about, Like you know, the boxes, you know, like we had to like we run out of boxes, and it's like so we're scrambling. We have to maybe get the nick size up that's an inch longer or whatever, or you know, the bubble wrap or whatever, and a lot of that is a problem. I have to admit. As far as us, you know, going to you,

I the Post Office has been doing amazing work. I mean we always complain about them. You know, yes, your package, some packages get stuck in Memphis for for a month, But overall, I mean just think of what they have to do on a daily basis, and and the fact

that how much that has increased over the past two years. Uh, They've done great and and you know, to the point where, like you know, other companies, other shipping companies, I'm not the biggest fans of as far as shipping out, but the Post Office has been has been reliable. Yeahs As far as movies, I would say probably as far as supply chains, we have seen issues. Uh you know, i'd say Massacre video.

Uh. I think they told me it's one of the smaller companies told me that, Like you know, it's like they have an order to go through a plant or a factory to get these things made. But then like Disney's pushing through the eternals. Well they're gonna be film. Yeah, yeah, you know, you're gonna take the money and then and then you know you just gotta wait. So but I think I think remarkably well, I think

America is held up. I mean I haven't seen to me delays right, and it's like not in physical media, it seems like no, no, But and honestly, you want them to delay. With all the screwed up disc we've seen over the past year too, it's like we want we want better quality control out there. We want them like Nintendo. It's like, don't put it out unil it's one hundred percent right, you know, It's like we want I can't imagine how many emails you get about screw of disks

that well. Thankfully, so many companies have flat out said and Vinegar Syndrome has been great about this and that they were one of our first champions even before we started the mail order business. We have a great relationship with them. But they they publicly said, do not talk to where you got this

from. Talk to us. You know. It's like and young places overseas, we had one customers better crunched imprint disc a case they mailed them another one they builed for Australia, the United States and and their customer service for most these places are top notch. Yeah, they're great, I would agree. And speaking of that, that's a perfect segmente Uh is the free shipping deal for US orders only? You even ship internationally? We do, yeah,

and that's coming with the challenges. Yeah, the free shipping right now is is for for us only. Uh, maybe reach some something in the future where like you had to spend an amount and then then we can do it. But uh, yeah, the international shipping is a mess. That's a mess floated over that. Yeah, that that's been that has been the most challenging part of this because we you know, we're all social media. We have a website world worldwide, and and we want to help everybody we've

shipped to. You know, God bless them you European US from European country's pretty much everybody h South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Canada of course, is big UK, Santa Navia. You know, it's not daily, but you know a few times a week and we want to be accommodating to everybody. But you know, we just got word today one of our customers got slapped with a thirty dollars fee from Canada. We don't we don't we don't

know why. You know, we're just trying to figure this out. So uh, you know, it's just constantly shifting and constantly changing and we're trying to keep up with it. But but once again, maybe like the pre order is something in the future we can we can we can visit that couch odyssey. He wants to know what are Mark's favorite all time physical releases and if that's too broad of a question, or maybe just this past year. Yeah, I always have I always have this in my pocket, you know,

I always give this. But it's an endlessly shifting list of things. For me. It's like this rewatchability. You know. It's like like like I said in the beginning, I I basically watch a film once and I move on. I really don't see it's gonna be a really special film to me to be able to keep it and watch it again. I say, overall, the number one for me, the most perfect film is Good Fellas. Good Fellows is on TV, even with commercials every five minutes or whatever,

I'm watching the damn thing. I just like, oh yeah, halfway through, I'm going to watch the rest of this, you know. But the first film that really was really put me on this path was my mom took me and saw a Fantasia when I was like four. Became a big horror and dinosaur fan after watching that film Mythology, you know, yeah, that was eye opening for me. I'm pretty sure someone took me to see the first two minutes of Fantastic Planet, uh, when I was like three

or four. They quickly got me out of there, but I vividly remember the first five minutes and that's been one of my favorite films. It was one of Mark's favorites on the site right now. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, yeah, well we really should update that a little bit. We're humongous. We're humongous fans of Jedawaski. I love weird movies. I love bad movies. You know, these type of things have rewatchability to me. Jodawaski,

to me is the probably the most surreal filmmaker out there. I can watch any of his films, even recent ones, and fine things I missed the first time or the last time I watched them. You know, Jodawaski, it's so big for me. It's like we actually named a company that we were able to buy our property a few years ago, and it's called Holy Topo, you know, this holy mountain Altopa together. What else is

up there? You know, I grew up in the eighties as a teenager in the eighties, so so Evil did too is way up there for me. Not so much the slasher stuff. I mean, like I do enjoy those. I'm a big cartoon fan. So, like I said, Fantasia, Fantastic Planet. You know, I love I love Disney. I love Disney. I think they're great, even even recent films. I'm really a big fan of Tangled. I think it's great, you know, is incredible. I mean, like Lelo and Stitch, you know, even the past

twenty years. You start going through, I'm like going, yeah, this film's great. This film's great. This film's great. I mean, they just do great work. And a big fan of that, uh, like I said, Sergia Aloni, Ye, Good, Bad and the Ugly. Definitely up there for me for sure. That that's one. I can just watch all three hours of it over and over and over again, for sure.

Over over the last year or so, obviously you've gotten thousands of different titles come through the store, But is there any physical release that has been eye catching enough to where you go oh my god, this is beautiful or something like that that just really sticks out to you. Uh yeah, i'd say, you know, the egger Write film Last Time, and so, uh it really really struck me. I mean I think it's great. You know that the time period. I love that time period of sort of like

mod you know, pretty hippie London. It's this amazing, amazing idea and uh you know it, it just had everything in it. I thought was great. Uh yeah, past YaST year. A lot of this is pandemic brain too. It's like going, okay, you know it was like is it last year? Is it two years ago? When was this? What's going on? I really loved Nobody. I thought that was crazy. Nobody is fantastic. I watched that like three times and I really, like I

said, I really watched, really watch a film more than once. Uh. I say, the one film, the one that is most endearing to us is Psycho Gorman. I think that one. I've showed that to so many people. You know, they sit down like, going, have you seen Psycho Gorman's like, well I'm not really like no, no, you're watching this. We're gonna watch this right now. And the Psycho Gorman is when I went to theaters in the Pandemic, like the throes of the Pandemic.

You took one for the team, baby, Yeah you you went in there and did it. Yeah, that's fantastic. Yeah, Psycho Gorman. That that to me. Those filmmakers, you know, I guess you know, it's loosely the astron six guys, but like, you know, it's like that is me. You know, it's like they grew up watching the same things I did. Now they they went on and did stuff physically, making films, making you know, models and puppets and things like that.

It's super creative, you know, and like that. But we all came from the same wellspring of media and and and things like that. And and uh, Psycho Gorman to me is just the pinnacle what I want to see in a film that the physical release of that, the extras on that are incredible, To all the featurettes on how they did all of the special effects

on that, on how it was all prosthetics. Yes, yeah, I've done practically and that that's amazing that That's that's what you want from a special feature is is you know stuff like that for sure, you know, and I just love that. I love the fact that, like we're probably on our the count of vhs. You know, we probably have had eight or ten versions of Psycho Chord then in the past year. And that's great.

It came out physically a year ago. You know, it's like it is it is a year old, I think physically, and this it's like, Okay, we're gonna do this. We're gonna do this, We're gonna do this. It's like and y'all are eating it up. And this is crazy, very specific question from Mitchell here. Is there going to be a restock of the Italian collections eighty eight films, specifically the region free titles? Yeah,

we uh we ordered direct from eighty eight films. So so you know, they they release things, you know now once again, I you know, I don't know if they find these things deep in the warehouse like uh Charles Band did with the the Gorgon VHS tapes years ago, or you know they're reprinting these things. Who cares, right, you know. So it's like, you know, we we were able to get uh what's the big one from them some of some of the Shaw Brothers films that were out of

print for a while. Pop like hecks hex. Yeah, they just pop back up and it's like going, yes, give them to me. Uh so so are I. You know, we're always our feelers are always out with them. We're always asking them questions and and uh they you know, if they make them available, we'll pick them up. However, but I do tell people though, is like if if if it's an exclusive somewhere or it's out of print, we buy stuff used or new, so you know, keep an eye on the section, uh, to see if it pops

back up again. Sometimes we get a lot of you know, like like the was it the Art original, you know, special releases of of the Argento four k's. We we weren't able to get them, but we we had a decent amount of stock that we bought from you guys to you know, it seemed like that we did stock it new for a while. We have multiple people asking would you do a video tour of the physical store. Yeah, yeah, I've done this several times. I'll do another one.

We also we do have a YouTube channel that I have just our commercial on there. It's it's it was made by Nick from Everything Is Terrible, So it's going to be it's a very bizarre commercial. But that's really the only thing on there. But we'll we'll, we'll throw it up on the YouTube channel. But yeah, I'll take you round and I'll try to put some old footage up because there's other people have come in. One guy actually was doing a documentary on me, and he gave up because he said I was

too normal. Of course, after he gave up, the pandemic hit. I actually had a mild stroke last year, you know. So it was like full of drama last year and like the past two years, and he could have had an amazing documentary and he blew it. But he's gonna get me that footage, so I'll probably throw it out there as well. Plenty of people like we have inspired filmmakers. So many people have gone to film school who would rent movies from us as as a teenager and things like that.

So so many people have filmed us in the store. There's been music videos made and things like that. I'd love just love to just have because it'll be coming on our twentieth anniversary next year. I'd love to have like a you know, twenty years of orbit. Yeah, just in one place. But yeah, I'll I'll go through let's say next next month or so. Sure, not a bad thing, but you kind of took the blanket

out from under be on. My last question was going to be, I know last year you had a giant healthcare but you seem better than ever. Is everything good now? I would say good? I mean I'm older, right, yeah, I basically I had I had everything checked out. I didn't healthy as a horse despite my size until last year, basically, but had everything checked out when I was fifty and everything was Finelood pressure was great, cholesterol, blood sugar, all that was fine. Of course, the

pandemic happened, and there's been a lot of stress. And I mean running a physical store, is you know ain no joke. Yeah, it's definitely tough. I've been blessed with a great staff. We haven't lost anybody as far as the staff goes. But anyway, you know, I'll probably drank a little more and I should have, and you know, just eat eating,

you know, comfort food. For two years straight, I had a good call no no, every every now and then I had what it's called a tia stroke, which is basically your brain is pumping the brakes for about fifteen to twenty minutes, so so half my body went numb. I fully recovered in the ambulance going to the hospital. I asked them to turn around and take me back to work because of this, of course happened at work. They refused. They ran some tests and everything's through the roof of course,

blood pressure and you know, cholesterol and stuff like that. So so yeah, I've lost twenty pounds since then. Isoss eye. I eat better. I only drink a drink or two a night instead of probably the five or six that I was doing. But yeah, I feel a lot better than I did. That's a positive. Really. The last thing that's here is mark your site's design and comes off I don't want to put Diabolic down, but comes off as very friendly. Nothing against them, but it might

be the smiling TV mascot guy. Well okay, so you know, I do want to say about competition. I refer people to both them and Grindhouse all the time, like I love those guys. They're great at what they do. And actually I'm super excited because Mike from Grindhouse actually has moved an hour and a half away from us. He's in Knoxville, Tennessee. We're in nationalth Carolina. So so he's on one side of the Appalachian Mountains.

I'm on the other side. So I'm very, very excited to see what he's doing because he's he's opening a physical store, like I think he had that already in Tampa, but it's going to be more, bigger, more of a story. Yeah. Actually, actually I'm calling this the Horror Highway because you're going to have Me, then you're going to have Mike, and then it's actually my hometown. My friends open up a place called The Dungeon, which has a lot of movies and games and stuff too, and they're

carrying a lot of boutique labels as well. So someone could spend a day or two and hit me up and then hit up Mike and then hit up the Dungeon and Mirable Tennessee. And you know, like I said, calling the SA Horror Highway. But yeah, the the website, we you know, I I really we started off me basically just me now at the beginning of the pandemic and just throwing crap up on this on the site, and

then we were just working on it. I ask some people that are perfectionists that work for me, and they've been doing everything they possibly can to make this the best experience that they think that they can provide for you guys. And I think they're doing a good job with it for sure. And we just get so much product in it. It's just, you know, we're just constantly putting stuff on there, especially the used items, Like if you go through the use items, it's like it's this day after day after day

after day. We're just getting so much stuff in. It's really exciting. I mean, it really really is. But yeah, I like the layout. Of course, there's things that we wish you could do better, but you know, we're sort of restrained to our knowledge of how to how to make a website. And then also you know that the program that we're using,

well, it works really well better than a lot of others. And in fact, one of the only other things I wanted to point out about the website that a lot of people don't know as possible is if you just input an order and you go, oh shit, I wanted to add this too, and I forgot. You can edit an order that you already put in and it cancels the order. Everything stays in your cart, and then

you go and add that item and check out again. Yeah, that's one thing where like it needs to be tweaked a little bit because like if you're ordering like a one of a kind item, it actually disappears, so'st you Yeah, yeah, yeah, you might need to contact us. However, we are going to make this this is uh one program our in store programs, another program another company. We're gonna make it all one company the next month or so, so that part should be fine. Uh, you can't

fully cancel an order. It's like I can't do it today, you know. It's like we understand, so you can cancel or edit orders for sure. But we have multiple copies of stuff like the new releases and things like that. You can definitely go back in edit. That is awesome. And again oops books, they are still getting books in all the time, and again they're selling out. I think this one was just added today or yesterday and it's gone already. So if you're wanting something, pay attention to the

to their Facebook page. They're all their social media. They put out the pictures of what's coming in. And again I'll throw out if you're really interested in some thing, uh my Patreon, if you go on that discord, I always put like the big things that people are on about that have been out of stock or you know, suddenly you can get it at orbit you can't get anywhere else. So, like I said, I mentioned before this discussion as well, but like what we try to do in the web web

page is like create transparency. We want you to see when you see the title, we want you to see everything that you might have to ask about that title. Uh, it defaults too. If you don't see a format on there, it's a blue rag. If regions will, if it's a foreign disc, we'll we'll let you know what region it is in the title, if it has a slip cover or not, it'll be in the title.

H So you know, we want you to be able to see that information just so that you don't have to keep digging around and clicking on something and getting frustrated. Cool. Yeah, yeah, right, the reason got the slip you can added to your wish list right here. You can add it to your cart. All of the information about below, all the extras, the synoptis everything, and then we just we just added down there at

the bottom right the chat option. Yep. Yeah, So if you have a question, we asked like anything a question about a particular order you place that you send us an email because the two people that are doing the shipping, that's just the routine. The first thing they do is look at They look at the emails every single day, and then they go back during the day and continue to answer the emails. But if you have a product question or anything else, feel free to hit that button and I'll try to get

back with you as as soon as I can. Not at two am, though, it's answer. That's That's one of the things that Orbit is historically known for, and for those that have never bought from Orbit, incredibly incredibly honest, incredibly you know, lots of integrity, but the big thing,

customer service is above and beyond anything that you can imagine. Somebody I posted this on Reddit today to see if we can get some people to come watch, and somebody commented that just this morning they ordered something at ten to nine and by ten forty they had a tracking number. It does not get a whole lot better than that, so you'll get stuff quick and honestly, even the media mail, I feel like it comes faster from Orbit than other places.

Yeah, you know, it really depends on what where your shipping lane is. You know, we're we're kind of like perfectly placed in the East coast for halfway between you know, the Northeast and the south or Florida. So you know, like a lot of shipping is it's going this way already, you know, up and down north and south. So you know, if you're if you're in if you're in the northeast, or you're you know a lot of majority of our shipping goes to Illinois and stuff. You know

that that they guests here in a couple of days. I didn't want to go to Wisconsin in three days. Media mail. It blew my mind. I don't know how it happened. It is it's went with a wind, I guess, you know. And now we have a this says I once got a tracking number nine minutes later. Yeah, this is the guy from Reddit. He said that was me that that commented that this morning. Well

thank you. Uh yeah, if order early morning, depending on how many packages we have, and you should get a shipped by by that day. Born to be Read says it's insane. I ordered something from Orbit on a Saturday and it was at my house Monday, and I live in Rhode Island. Wow, that's pretty impressive. And then that's what I say about the post Office. It's like it you know, we all ship on them, but like they it truly is an amazing machine that shouldn't work. I mean,

it's it's an American invention that that is. That's incredible and and uh, you know, yes, we are gonna have packages that get hung up here and there, but but you know, it's like like, for the most part, it works great. It does. It seems like there's a handful of hubs that if it goes through that hub, you're probably gonna get screwed. One of the big ones. Memphis is a big one. Memphis is a bad one. Like when if I ever seen in Memphis, it's like, oh no, oh no, no, no, no, no

no. Uh. We we had a trick for packages for a while, but they they uh sort of neutered us with the media mail. We were able to kind of push everything through, uh for the longest time, but but they made some changes to where media mail you can't you can't do anything anymore with those. So oh well, well, the last thing that I had on my stack to ask about is you had a pretty decent sale last year. Any chances in one of those coming. Oh yeah, yeah.

I liked being the sale after the sale, and I'm mirroring some friends that had some humongous sales on Black Friday. I so I we are shooting for a couple of big, big companies to halfway to Black Friday. So I think we're going to do a halfway plus one week one week to Black Friday. So so well, look at look at early June. Uh yeah, that was insane. That was crazy. We uh learned a lot, uh lots lots of tears shed. Uh. We got pretty much every order out

in two days. So I apologize about the delay, uh for everybody that that was definitely we're definitely not on our best best uh work that that sale uh we we mailed out. Let's just say that, like I was expecting a great day, a great night. We we did four times of business that I expected and it was thank you, thank you everybody for that.

But yeah, there's some things that we need to tweak logistically and then and then mainly shutting the store down, uh when you're legitimately only expecting a certain amount and you guys, really that was like the the time when you blew up was right before that. That was the the the pinnacle of what you could have done right around then, I imagine, yeah, yeah, yeah, And you know, we went back and forth and like when people want to sail, we want to sales, like what do we do? What

we do? It's like, well, can we do this? Can we do that? People? People wanted to combine you know, the free shipping with a sale. Well, the program we're using for the online platform doesn't like that, so we but we found a way to do it. And it's stuttered a little bit in the beginning, but it worked fine after that. And uh, you know, we had to stay on top of that.

We can't just always have that happening. That the that the free shipping with a sail, so so uh we had to like basically just limit it to a day or two here and there. Hopefully we can change that. But yeah, yeah, it was definitely a perfect storm for sure, because you know, we had already built up a lot of good will, A lot of people had already at least shop from us a few times, and everybody shopped. Everybody was spreading the word, like there was a lot of

free press about that sale. I got to know. It seemed to set the world on fire. That that was. Yeah, yeah, it was great, and like I said, thank you so much much. It was definitely uh you know, we we we're not expecting the love that we had, and you know, we were expecting to be out of everything or whatever and it we had. We had of course, had some hiccups inventory wise, but it worked out great for sure. Well, uh, Mark, I appreciate all your time tonight. This I'm sure went a little longer than

you expected. Genuinely. We I mean you already know you're you're seeing my name far too often already. But I love you. A lot of people on the channel love you, and we again more appreciative of your service than anything because a lot of people do not put that type of care into everything. So thank you, thank you. Yeah, And we were just looking early on, you know, even me just by myself, it's like going, but how how do I want to do this? You know, how

do I want? It wasn't so much studding myself apart, but you know it's like going, I don't like the way Amazon ships, I don't like everything. However, I have sold items on Amazon for probably twelve years now, so they make you respond to questions within two days, they make you

ship within two days. So I was already used to that. I said, well, let me add that with really wrapping this stuff up and and finding you know, the best materials I can and and getting the stuff out the door as quick as I can, and and uh, it turned out being you know, alive, y'all agree with me. Well, thanks, thanks Dave, But yeah, it turned out being for us the niche that we wanted to be in. You know, It's like and and and I

like the fact that we're you know, we're growing. We're not exploding, you know, but we are growing exponentially, and and there's there's more to come, you know, I'm looking. I'm looking at countries I never thought I could get stuff from. And we're talking to other places and stuff. So so yeah, you know, for for us, it's a journey and just trying to get all this stuff and make it available for you guys easily, and and so far, so well, thanks again, Mark, Thanks

everybody for watching. Thanks to the channel patrons. Your names are up here on the screen. I appreciate everybody hanging out tonight. We have quite a lot of viewers This is a long show and it's a lot to give up a Thursday night and just hang out for a long time with people that love physical media. So thank you all. We'll see you next week. We're here every Thursday night and other than that, from one collector all of you. Have a good night, everybody.
