Episode description

WE HAVE A TRADE! After a lengthy process for the San Jose Sharks, they have officially found a trade partner for Erik Karlsson. With a brand new episode of the DFO Rundown unfolding, Frank and Jason start the show by discussing the three-team deal that will send the Norris Trophy winner to the Pittsburgh Penguins. How will this trade affect all the teams involved heading into next season? Frank and Jason both provide their initial analysis of the Blockbuster trade.

Taking a look at some future lines from our friends at Betano, Frank gets Jason to give his predictions for some teams following their offseason moves. After a busy week in the NHL, the guys also shared their thoughts on Matt Dumba’s decision to sign with the Arizona Coyotes on a one-year deal.

Jumping from there, we look at the Oilers decision to hire Jeff Jackson and how that could impact the long-term future of Connor McDavid in Edmonton. Frank and Jason also hit on the latest UFA/RFA news around the league.
