Episode description

Dread Engine is an electronic hard rock/ metal quartet from Newark, though also calling Columbus home as well. Their sound and style is constantly shifting thanks to the man behind the mic and programming, Rick Kaercher. Also pushing their style forward is guitarist  Jake Spears, who stepped up to the other mic to provide some clean vocals. Lastly, a band is nothing with out a solid rhythm section, and providing the thunder thunderous beat and groove are Jay Coughlin(Drums) and Johnathan Collins (Bass)

With a self titled EP and their full length album Deception By Design, they will soon be adding their second album Parabellum to their arsenal. They have assured its going to be a huge step from previous works, exploring new sonic landscapes and honing what they have already built. The boys are also growing up, and in doing so are becoming... djentlemen!

In this episode, we discuss their personal influences that shaped their style and how it lends itself to the band's sound, and we will play their new single "Change" for your listening pleasure. We also have a hot take on cereal SO HOT it almost breaks up the band! Also Jay hypes up Destin for the ladies, and they all smack talk each others video game ablilites. Check them out and social media and YouTube, and be sure to listen to their work!
