12. When neuro and derm collide

Today's episode features Dr. Lo Curtis, a neurologist practicing in the Austin, TX area. Dr. Curtis is making her own splash in the veterinary industry through her podcast (Thrive DVM) which discusses health and mental well being. But, in this episode, I pick her brain (ha!) about neurologic symptoms that otitis cases can show such as facial paralysis and Horner's syndrome. We also discuss myringotomy, primary secretory otitis media, diagnostic imaging and empirical antibiotic treatment. It is a fun and energetic episode!
