With the PL season opener looming close, Liverpool's midfield situation  is still not clear. 3 fit midfielders are not enough for the entire  season. 

We need at least twice that number to keep the ball flowing  smoothly from defence to attack.
To address our problems in the long run, we need a premium midfielder. But to tackle our current injury crisis, we need a short term fix.  

The question is not, has Klopp figured it out? The question is, is he  going to act on that need and sign a midfielder soon?
