Join us for this 2-part series as Herbie Newell talks with Tera Melber and Lynette Ezell about talking with your children about race and adoption.

Lynette has been married to Kevin Ezell for 33 years – they live in the Atlanta area where he serves as the President of the North American Mission Board. The Ezells have 6 children, with their youngest 3 adopted internationally. They’ve also been blessed with 6 grandchildren, two of those joining their family through domestic adoption. Lynette trains Foster Families in the State of Georgia and is passionate towards equipping the local church to engage in Foster Care and Adoption. Lynette is a speaker and advocate for Adoption & Foster Care for SendRelief.

Tera is the wife to David, mom to six children, and grandmother to one. David and Tera began their international adoption journeys of three of their children fifteen years ago from the Philippines and Ethiopia. Tera is a Parent Educator with Chosen sharing Trauma Informed education and strategies to families all around the country.
