Today I’m talking with Kalei as she explores what it will take to adjust the family’s finances around an unpaid maternity leave that’s about 3 months away. Kalei is a military spouse and mom of 1, soon to be 2. Her husband’s role with the Army recently moved their family to Alaska, and they’ve been adjusting to life away from extended family as well as a much higher cost of living than they were used to.
