Ep. 271 - Elseworlds - The Batman - Traction

After a landmark 270th episode that saw the return of friend of the show Kevin Altieri, the Good Brothers considered unplugging the microphones for good, but alas their dedication and love of the listeners (and brands) have them back for a trip around the multiverse with an Elseworlds review of 2004's The Batman episode "Traction." Keeping on theme for the hosts mini-celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Knightfall storyline, this episode features this universe's version of "The Man that Broke The Bat" looking and functioning in a very different way then we saw in Batman: The Animated Series. Hear the hosts talk about the plot point and visual parallels to its' Knightfall/Knightquest comic book counterpart, Bane's visual comparison to a certain "Hulk" of a character, how this series went with a very specific version of Alfred and parallels and homages from and to the Nolan Batman movies and Sam Raimi's Spiderman.
