Ep. 208 - Static Shock - Child's Play

It's a new month so the Good Brothers are headed for sunny skies and the optimistic nature of Static Shock with this week's review of the season one episode entitled "Child's Play." The hosts get right down to business discussing a plot which sees a story without a real moral, Richie wearing a duster as a disguise, unfortunate Asian stereotype caricatures, but fun visuals that bend reality in a good way. Plus, an episode soundtrack that has even Static's harshest critic enjoying the music, a very meta scene about comic books, several visual choices that led to feeling like the Super Friends, a pretty solid performance from our kid actor and a preview of next week's very special review on this week's all new DCAU Review!
