Hey everybody. Once again, this is Dave Pash ESPN, an Arizona Cardinals played by play announcer, bringing you another edition of the Dave Pash Podcast. It was a very disappointing season for the Arizona Cardinals, so we thought, you know, after this year and all the downs of twenty twenty two, which included a lot of injuries and obviously a change with the general manager and the head coach, let's have a little fun as we close out the season by
bringing in the great Frank Caliendo. We did this with Frank last year, and it was when the Cardinals were playing really well. We have Frank come in and read some highlights from actual radio calls from Wolf and me, and we had him do it in a variety of voices from Morgan Freeman to Al Pacino, to Jack Nicholson to Robert Downey Junior, Charles Barkley Shack. So we figured we would select some of the highlights of this past season and have Frank come back in and do it again.
Three receivers, Judy right back to ripping hit and sacked absolutely mulled by J. J. Watt at the forty eight yard line. That's like turning around and all of a sudden,
Joss is there ready to swallowed you up. There weren't a ton of things to choose from, but the Raiders game which the Cardinals one week two was one of the most exciting wins by any team in the NFL this season, and plus the great career of JJ Watt coming to a close, we wanted to bring you some of the highlights from one of Watt's biggest games of this past season. We are presented by Hila River Resorts and Casinos and by bet MGM. You can go to
BETMGM dot com for more details. As you probably can imagine if you've heard Frank before, I don't get a whole lot of words in. But this is all about Frank and about many voices and characters, bringing you the highlights and best moments from this past Arizona Cardinals season. So here he is actor and comedian and Arizona Cardinals fan, Frank Caliendo. So Frank here, we are ready to go in Swarow the character Swarrow. What am I even talking about?
I have no idea? Why are you even here? Why would they name this pod pash pod if that's what it is? Other than the alliteration that is sitting before us. Because I sit here and wonder by the way I was listening to I was listening to Bill the other night. I think it was without you. I think he was cheating on you a little bit, which game because because we had usc UCLA together. No, maybe it was that. Maybe it was that you just didn't get a chance
to talk. Probably, but it's he sounds a little older now, and it sounds like his teeth are new or something. I can attest his teeth have been the exact same. Are they They're fake? Okay, but that's what they're not. They're not They're not. What it is is I can hear that they're not as secured as they once were, and they're in danger of falling out of his mouth, and they what is going on here? And we're using my tongue to maintain the stress that is these teeth
in here. He'll be now, he'll be glad to know that when I when I tell him, because he's never listened to this, even though he was on one now, he's never listened to anything but other than the grateful debt, of course. But I'll let him know that. You notice that his teeth are not in his So yeah, I think that I thought they were cemented in Well's. It's got that little thing my dad has it. You get
to a certain age and I don't think. Maybe it's that your mouth doesn't work as well anymore, which would be great for you in the broadcast with it, but there's something about where you just I couldn't. I can't put my finger on it, which would be good in
these days of COVID and whatnot. But it's one of those types of things where I can't figure out what it is exactly, but I feel like it's dentures or teeth or something, and being very careful that everything, like as you articulate, you make sure that the teeth are not coming out. And there is a way that's a Bill Walton whispers. We're all very quiet here to sleepover, trying to figure that's Bill Walton as a kid, although
I know he had a stutter. We're gonna just go over there, He's like, here we are in the sleepover, ready to go. We're camping in the swarrows around us, rattlesnakes everywhere. As I tell the story of this, I was trying to think of something that wouldn't get us canceled. It was going to be like some type of slim Man or something like that slender man. Look out. Can we say that bleep it out? I don't know. It
depends on the part of the country you're in. So you say that I was on Doctor Phil just years ago. You say that Walton and Wolfley are the same, like, here's something similar, there's something similar to build. And that's the problem is when they are close, it's hard because they'll it'll go back and forth between between them. So run run Wolflee. Are you talking to me? You know? So it's it's a little It's Boulder and I've done so much Walton right there is like, oh, Dave da,
what is going gone here? But then I realized that joshually the body Ventura, it's not even that far off. You just articulate the whole thing is a conspiracy. Have you done the because you've done actually started turning more into wolf there that did Have you done? Because you've done the dueling Walton's when you were on Mike and Mike, when Bill called in, it was Bill. And then when you came and did the game with us at Arizona State where Bill was Bill and you were Bill and
we did like ten minutes. Have you ever done the dueling wolf LEAs where you call into wolf Show and I go back. I think I did. I surprised him as a fake wolf Lee as himself one time, and uh, just I was supposed to start talking all and every time somebody else would start talking, is like A just interrupted him, like he like you did me to start this. Yeah, I wanted to get you on to have fun because it's been a season that has not been fun at all.
I hadn't noticed, you know. I I looked for the positives. Really, That's why I wanted to get you on so we can laugh. I haven't laughed in a while. We were the other before. Because I do want to get your taken the Cardinals, because I know you're Ardinal's fan. Who are the other imitations you do that are really similar where it comes from the same place. Oh, there's a there.
There are quite a few of those. I just realized this. Okay, So if you go to John c Riley, that kind of like it starts with Kermit the Frog and then you put it back your throat a little bit becomes John c Riley, did you touch my drum set that kind of a thing. You're gonna have to call me dragon. And then if you bring it in the back of your throat more and you put some air, it becomes Mark Ruffalo. I see this as an absolute win. That's
what that is. And this, this voice right here, this voice right here, I figured out if you I don't know how to do it. A little bit, we had a little bit of California. Now just listen closely, because it's it's here, it's here, it's here, it's right there. It's Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers is in here. It's I can't get it exactly, but Aaron Aaron Aaron Rodgers. Yeah, I don't have it yet, but that's what I'm saying
is it's I know where that voice is. I figured out in the life because it's muppety, right, it is muppet. It's a oh you saw them. It's it's more towards a moopit than a Muppet movie. What did you see the Muppet movie? If you saw them Uppet movie, the the Muppets were like the evil evil Muppets. Yeah, yeah, I've that's a long Is that a recent thing that's ten years twelve. So there was okay because I maybe Adams was in that one. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I
know I know what that one is. Didn't you say that Schefter and Rappaport are similar, Queen, my sources, Adam Schefter is right in here, but if you give him a little bit of a cold, he becomes Ian Rappaport. That's and I've been tested. I do not have COVID. This is just your ordinary cold. But it's not even a cold when it's Ian Rappaport. But bait coming back to Adam Schefter, and now this is Adam Schefter, helium
a queen. He hates it when I did when when Schefter see a thing about Schefter is and I might have told you this before, stop me if I hand, but um I can't stop laughing. I'm not gonna be able to stop. It's uh Schefter. Here's the that there are problems in impressions. Like when you heard the Aaron Rodgers and you've the first thing you went through is the things that weren't right about it, right, so you can hear I listen for the things that I find first that are right, and then I go from that
and build on that. But what people normally hear is what's wrong. So Schefter here is to get the sound. For Adam Schefter, the eshes have to change. And he doesn't have this. He doesn't say his eshes are very well articulated. They're good esses. But he hears this. But I have to do that to put my jaw and throw it in the right position to be able to get that voice. Um, And that's that's what happens sometimes.
I just started going Burman, eat meat, mate, And that's just that's just morse code beating meat, maye beating meat. People share what you will with Nobody struggles the wagons, the get him shift in a point of the camera. Um as a cardinal fan of somebody that lives in the valley relatively close to the facility. I won't give the address right, but you live, you live in the area. I live in the parking lot. Um, what what do you make of what has happened here in the last
a couple of times? Oh, Dave, you put me in a tough position in the building. Uh, listen, I don't know. There's ups and downs. When things get off the tracks. They can really get off the tracks. They're just off the tracks. Is time for a reset? What are you gonna do? You can sit here and complain, which is probably what your partner does. But uh yeah, I just look, I think it's gonna be tough stretch here, Um, but I think it'll be interesting to see. I always look
for the positive. I just want it to be good. So I think there's no way but up right now. Yeah, that's the way I look at it. Um. But it was tough, was it? You know? Every nobody's gonna tell you it was a great when the highlight of the season is JJ Watt's last game, you know, and that's the thing you're looking for, is Um, that's a tough spot. Um. And is it true that you were involved than JJ Wat?
It's kind of it was kind of fake. But I've known JJ for a long time because I texted him you should come here, and I'm sorry no, Uh but it was one of those things where, um, yeah, I'd known him and I texted him you should come here, and uh. Then I just claimed that it was why he came in. A lot of people ran with that,
like you know, like Yahoo Sports or something like. People just start saying things like that, or it might have been on Dan Patrick and lied and said I actually was the reason I did a little bit of lying, and then people just go at the lies. Um. And I used to not I used to like, can't say that these I used to like, right after I said a lie, I'd be like, oh no, no, I'm just kidding about it. Now. I just let it go and
then deal with it a few days later. The Wisconsin Connect. Yeah, yeah, because he I think it might have been from Mike and Mike and he'd probably listened to Mike and Mike or something like that, or he knew me from being from Wisconsin. He and his brothers all came out to a show at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee. And it was funny because it was him, him, t J or h Yeah TJ and and Derek and uh and they It's sneaking those guys into a theater in Wisconsin not
easy because they're all massive human beings. Um. But they came to a show and they got there right in the last second, and I brought him in backstage. We you know, did a bunch of pictures. Funny because nobody really knew TJ yet. Yeah, or Derek um and uh I wikipediat him. I you know, I took a look at looked up all the info about the brothers and uh JJ called me on somebody was on Wikipedia'm like, yeah, I better believe I was. I wanted to be prepared.
I'm Dave Pash, That's who I am. First time, I well, i'd met JJ doing games at Wisconsin when he was playing there. But when he got here, we did a sit down interview with him and he remembered. He said, you're from Madison, right, and I said, yeah, oh, he remembered. That's the thing about people don't understand a lot of these players, especially the elite players. The mind is at such an elite level to Aaron Rodgers can do that.
You know, he can remember things. The first time when I met Aaron Rodgers, it was at the NBC Tahoe Golf tournament, that celebrity golferman. I wasn't. I wasn't a celebrity. I was the entertainment. Barkley was in the you know, in singing in karaoke because the thriller Thriller that those zombies going to eat you lookout San Antonio. You know. So um, I just watched a club at him talk
about san Antonio on so uh so uh so. I remember Rogers comes up to me and he goes, and I don't have the voice yet, so I'm gonna do it as John c Riley playing. He goes really the kiddie table and I was like, what are you what are you talking about? In that skit? You put me at the kiddie table. I was like, oh my gosh, I did. It was a Thanksgiving sketch and it was five. Was at the adult table and we had Aaron Rodgers look alike and he was at the kiddie table not
getting to play. I was like yeah, and he was like, I don't really care, you know it, didn't really care about it, but I think and I told some other guys about that lay He's like, oh yeah, that bugged him, like everything bugs him, like everything, that's what drives him? Is it stuff like that? I'm like, all right, but I can't believe he cares about like something like somebody like me would say. And he's like, oh, They're like no, no, no no, no, they don't. Um My son is calling
me during the pashpod. Do you need to talk to him? Uh? Let me do that real quick. Just make sure he's alive. Hello. Uh no, I'm with Dave pass right now. It's much more important than Chipotle. Up hung up? Bumm me, he hung up on me. I'm sorry. I thought it might be an emergency, but he was probably driving something cool. He asked me if I wanted Chipotle and uh not today, man, not today. This is not a day. No, it's a
it is a sponsor. Careful. Um, all right, Any current players that you can uh No, I don't really think so. The players are usually harder because they're younger. Older people are usually a lot easier because they've become caricatures of themselves at that point. Um, So I don't think there's really any current players if I really try. There's also very few places you can use that. So if you're doing any there are some players that are you know,
national and international, like a Tom Brady or something like that. Um, but he's pretty regular and um. But in terms of that kind of stuff, not a lot, because it's it's an and to me, part of it's just there. What's the there's no usage, there's no where. What am I gonna get? I'm not gonna get anything out of it on stand up maybe local social media, but I'm not going to spend it because it takes a lot of time to work on these things. So to to get some to try and get somebody, that would be like
doing it. And I don't want to mean to downplay at the but like doing a local weather person. What's great if you can just knock it out and you can do it. But people, if I do that and a local weather person from the weather man here from Phoenix in uh, Massachusetts, they're not gonna get you know, They're just not gonna kill it. They're not gonna get it. So do you do? Because I know you've done Barkley and you're a huge basketball fan. Are there any other
basketball guys, uh other than Barkley? Well, there's they're Shack Shack is gonna be. But all I can do is Ernie is uh Arnie Johnson along with Shaquille O'Neil. That's all I could do. It's actually not that it's in there. Actually I heard that, Oh I Hearnie Jomps along with Shaquille O'Neil. Uh. Yeah, it's which isn't that far off from Marvelbert from downtown. Yes, we need to get you need to have you study Van Gundy. Okay, so Van Gundy. Oh it sounds like he's just getting punch his stomach.
Why what is why? What these refs shouldn't even be part of this game right now? Are they even watching what? That's when I was coaching, none of this would happen because I would punch them in the stomach. Doesn't like every day like he like he talks in those tiny little it's like somebody's oh and that's what what is happening here? How about Mark Jackson? Mark, Mark's got a little bit of that New York, New York, New York
kind of thing. Again, you'd have to probably yeah, yeah, listen to the we just had him on If you want to listen to the episode, you can. Yeah, I've actually I've actually dabbled in working on that Mark Jackson sometimes because of the I can get the last of the Van Gundi because it's not perfect obviously, but it's that's what he does like pretty good when he when he goes into it. It's it's the joke of it too.
It's just that that punched in the stomach thing you can visualize and a lot of people want to punch Van Gundi in the stomach. He's fantastic, but he's he's really great. But he just he says things. He's not afraid to piss people. That's what's great about That's what makes these guys great, as they don't care correct that they're going to get the backlash from the stuff. Yeah, but yeah, Jeff definitely does not care. Not He'll say
what he'll say whatever's on his mind. Nothing, Nothing bothers me, not even this guy's shooting this cannon into my stomach right now. I'm gonna I gotta text him after and tell him that your impression of him is as if he's getting punched in the stomach every time he talks. That's too good, all right. So we did this last year and it was, first of all, hilarious, as you can tell, I find you funny, since I've been laughing
throughout here. Find me somebody ten minutes of this. And this was of all the things we've done, is probably we had our most engagement in terms of retweets. And you're usually the one that retweets everything, so actually actually actually others are retweeted. You're doing the highlights from last year. Now this year, we don't have as much to choose from, so we picked a handful. Couple are from the Raiders game, which was Week two. I don't know if you remember
that game. I don't. Cardinals were down twenty to nothing at halftime. Came yeah, yeah, so well there's a two point conversion. So basically, what Frank's gonna do, folks, is he is going to immitate. We have the script here of exactly what I said and calling the play, and then what Wolf says after, and so Frank is going to in a variety of voices. Yeah, I'm just gonna read it. I'm gonna read the script because I don't have to figure out the play and do it myself.
And then you're gonna call it names for me to change during them. So, but I want you to, like, I guess as like to give people a taste, like pick one voice for the first one, and then we'll go back and do it again. Uh yeah, just give me one. I'll just started out, all right, let's start it out with Robert Downey Jr. All right, So here's a deal empty set now for Murray. Three receivers. Right, of course, it is snap to Kyler looking right now back to the middle. Now runs to the right, a
lot of right here. Three right turns brings you back to the same place, I believe, being chased. Imagine that backing up of the twenty, backing up so far that you can't even see him anymore. That's the difficulty about Kyler's. The further he way he gets, the tinier he gets sure changing the script. I didn't say any that I think, go ahead, though, feel free, how you know how I feel? He never sticks to the script, all right, du Morgan Freeman.
Then from here on out, looking still dancing around, pointing, still holding the ball like a street ball in the backyard. He still got it. Runs right to the ten, cuts left to the five, and he's gonna score, all right, dude, DeNiro. Now, oh my goodness, ha ha, Kyler murray on that play, on a play that took about a minute. Somehow get to the end zone for two points, h boy, old point. It's very good by Kyler. Ha ha. This is the entertainment capital of the world. I don't think you said this.
This is the entertainment capital world. That's what you said, okay, okay, I hear you. Pause it right now, because there wouldn't be enough time in this play. This is the entertainment capital of the world. And I don't think I've ever seen the two point play is entertaining his end? Huh? All right now? With Wolfley stepping in here to mel Kiper, I'll talk about I have never seen that before in my life, and I'll tremendously long life. Somebody tell me
how long that play is. You don't let Kyler sit down and do the yoda right now, because that is unbelievable. And listen, there a lot of things in my life, but what the world is do the yoda? I mean, talk about a guy sometimes. Why does mel get upset when you do him? When you because he does. He doesn't get upset. He likes it. But he always wants me to do like Todd or Somebody's like, you can't
do somebody else on the show. It's like, like, I love when you do me, but he's you know it be I just appreciated that he could do somebody else in the show as well. I'm like, well, you're kind of the big cartoon character. That's what's funny. I told his wife that he came to a show in Baltimore one time, and I told his wife, I go, I go, he's so normal. What happens when he gets on TV? She's like I know, And he's like, well, it's working in the basement like a millions of dollars at the
end of the day. Where do you get the trail off? Where he just mumbles, where did you get that from? I just kind of make it up to get a laugh. I mean, it's one of those things that works. But he does this, He kind of does that, but I just turned it into it like it's Arnold Schwarzenegger, Like, yeah, I got to the Jopp's milk Iyper Junior in an action movie. I got a camouflage all over my body and face. Can't see me if I'm in some type
of feeling, you're you're trying to aim at me. At the end of the day, the guys who are to the camouflage aren't gonna make it all right. So let's do this play again and do the whole thing as nance and romo too. My nance is a good enough, that's the thing is my nance? Yeah, nace my nance. And I told Jim nance this like that's why I only say Tony Jim nance slung see it and after doing all this talking it's hard. It's it's amazing that
you can adjustice quickly. Nance like there's golf nance Jim nance. So how would Jim nance? How would romo Jim. I've never seen a play like that before in my life. It's incredible and amazing and amazingly incredible. Somebody tell me, Jim, you gotta tell me how long that play is? Hey, you know what, Kyler, sit down and do the Yoda right now, because that is unbelievable. Jim today, have you have you done Aikman yet? No, he's he's hard because
he's very nasal. Uh, he's got there, there's something in his Uh. I used to I was working on a Buck for a while too. I'm starting to get Joe Buck. I did it for Joe and he's like, I don't do that. I was like, And he's a very people don't understand Joe Buck's a very funny guy and very self deprecating. You don't see that on TV because that's not his job. But nobody can put themselves down better than Joe Buck. But that that's not usually what he does.
And tell you, but he was he was. It was one of those again where I wasn't there all the way and uh then I just got a little shy, all right. Um so that was the crazy run for the two point. Because the Cardinals win the game in overtime on a fifty nine yard fumble return in it's Byron Murphy that okay, so do this. Give give me the names a little faster and we'll go into the The voice is a little bit faster this time. Morgan Freeman to start second to ten for the Raiders at
the Cardinal thirty nine. Four receivers two right, two left, car waiting for the shotgun snap Al Pacino. He's got the ball, quick throw left side. Renfro with the catch and he breaks one tackle and the ball comes out Madden, I mean it's loose, and it's picked up by the Cardinals had been field. I mean it's picked up by Byron Murphy. Summer at the forty at the thirty the twenty the ten ball game, Belichick from Byron Murphy picks up the ball midfield returns as a touchdown whatever, and
the Cardinals win. That's an unbelievable finish here in Vegas. And I'm just ecstatic. Chris Berman shot what you will, but no face paint for that guy. Eater. All right, let me let me tell you what that's from. So, yes, there was a touchdown at the end of the game, Cardinals win, and I say, no face paint for this guy. The reason I said that is I had Damian Lillard on the podcast. He's a Raiders fan, so we had
a gentlemanly bet. If the Cardinals one, he would have to wear Kyler Murray jersey into the arena one night. If the Raiders won, I had to, according to him, paint my face and get in black hole gear like I had to wear all the Raiders gear black silver paint. So that's why the uh yeah, it's good, it's good. Um, all right, So let's start back with it's picked up by Byron Murphy. Since we um, and let's do Tracy Morgan. Byron Murphy picks up the ball in midfield, returns it
for a touchdown. That's crazy, and the Cardinals win. What unbelievable finish here in Vegas? All right? Now, just do this next one as wolf crazy. I can't It's gonna be Baulton. Now are you talking about? I can't I can't. I can't get into it. Crazy Coral. Coral is here for the Arizona Cardinals. Crazy Carl. I can't get it today. Yeah, what about Jeff Goldman? Crazy Carl? Who is ah is here? Is it? Is it? Carzy Color? Crazy call? Because so it's a wolf lys Um. He calls, like if something
mild happens that no one could predict. It's according to him, crazy car Crazy Carl is here for the Arizona Cardinal Zoo. Crazy Carl. I'll show it up on the field shoes and then I jump in at the end here with let's let's do this one as let's do Schefter. According to my sources at this particular time, Isaiah Simmons forced the fumble and Byron Murphy picked it up and took it to the house to win the game in overtime
twenty nine to twenty three. And you wonder why hates I was gonna say, like the voice all of a sudden gets really high. It is. It's just there. It's not very technically accurate, but in my head, it's just Schefter on helium. Okay, she had a children's party one time. How did this come about? It was at a children's party. One of the balloons had a slight leak. I wanted to save the children for being over heliumized. I took
in the helium. I floated to the top, not unlike Grandpa and Charlie and who I walk in the chocolate factory, and then I belched my way down to save the universe. I can picture scheft or belching articulating the way that they make the equilibrium in my body. Come back and we will all be fine, all right. So with this next one, it's it's J. J. Watt. He had three sacks at Denver, the guy that you brought to Arizona
to finish his career. So from my call here you want who else do you want me to bring you? I mean to bring in anybody else. Uh, give me some time, Yeah, carefully, come up, give me the list of free agents. Want? Okay, um, give me the list of free agents. Well we'll see who you know who you can text? All right, So for my call, do that as Jack Nicholson. And then when you get to
Wolf stephen A. Smith, Oh there you go. Yeah, So have me as Jack Nicholson and then Wolf as Stephen a. Three receivers Judy, you're right back to throw, ripping hit and sacked absolutely mulled by J. J. Watt at the forty eight yard line. That's like turning around and all of a sudden Jaws is there ready to swallow you up like I just did right there? Who is the Stephen? I have to sound him and understand what's going on? Right here? Jack Nicholson almost inhaled me, which probably has
been said before. How about that right there? J. J. Watt gets turned loose by the right tackle, the Cordinals bringing in all sorts of gas right there, and J. J. Watt the apparent benefactor. I feel like we've done everybody. Who are you okay? So there's this guy David Attenborough who I don't know, who's David Attenbury? How would he say? What Wolf just said? J J. Watt? How about that
right there? Jay Jay what gets turned loose to the right tackle, the Cardinals bringing all sorts of gas right there? And J J what the benefactor? This would be a good one too by Morgan Freeman. H. J. J. Watt gets turned loose by the right tackle, the Cardinals bringing all sorts of gas right there, and J. J. Watt the benefactor. Truth is, we knew it was going to be him zin Wanta Nahouh. I have like twenty guys on this list here, we've done everything. Just just go
through them again, and go through them faster. Just give every line, all right, Liam Neeson Arie in an empty set, you want to set it up? Go ahead? All right? So this is Hollywood who you are? Twenty five yard touchdown that you want catching run against the Eagles. Go ahead?
So yeah, start with Liam Neeson Murray in an empty set, in shotgun takes that you're supposed to be giving me the voice of Alpaccino takes the snap three that drop, looks over the middle, throws and it's cart Bye Brown Morgan Freeman first down, makes a man miss at the fifteen. Bill Belichick, the tenant. Brown is in the end zone for the touchdown. I rappaport. That's just shifted with a cold. They head to think about it. Hollywood Brown has been spectacular Ley and he cuts the lead at half with
the gorgeous run after the catch Joe Walton for Wolfley. Okay, what an incredible playing by Hollywood Brown. Robert Downey Jr. Make the catch and run after the catch Robert de Niro, you want to talk about the red carpet high Tracy Morgan, So, Hollywood Brown just walked down the red carpet here, stay from stadium. That's crazy. That's very good, by the way, that's that's really Hard's pretty good. Like they should come
up with a game show. Has anybody come up with a game show idea where like they bring on comedians like yourself and do that, and like, whoever, I don't like anything that's like because I don't like anything that's like a challenge that people vote on or something like that, because then it's just a popularity contest. Like people always like, how about you and Jay Farrere do an impression off? And I'm like, how about we just do a sketch
together and have fun? Or unless I'm the judge of it, or if I was the host of it, like make people do things, then I wouldn't have a problem. All right, let's do that last one, the Hollywood Brown. Let's do let's do my call. Let's start at as a Pat summerroll Murray, empty set, shotgun Madden right there, it's taking a snap, three steps, drop, it looks over the middle and boom, he's throwing the caught by Hollywood Brown. First down, a ray makes a man missed at the fifteen cuts
right right there, it's Attendant Brown's in the end zone. Touchdown. Hollywood Brown is jocular and he constantly have what a gorgeous runner over there? All right now it's wolfleet Bruce Arians That's what I'm talking Aboutdaddy. Wait wait, what incredible play by Hollywood Brown. I mean you talk about dead dadd and made a catch right there to run after catch it Chohnce, We'll talk about red carpet. Hollywood Brown. Just walk down the red carpet here at State Farm Stadium.
Did you touch my carpet? Did you touch my red carpet? Um? What all you have going on these days? Other than being kind enough to come in here and do this again? I just go to Cardinal's facilities and read scripts as people more famous than me. Now I'm gonna be in Phoenix, uh, February fourth at CB Live comparably Yeah, people notice cblive cblive dot com or Frank onstage dot com. Uh. CB Live is uh there in Desert Ridge. Really, it's actually my favorite people who own the club's own all like
the three big clubs in the city. I don't there's like ten clubs now or something like that. But Stand Up Live there's the Improv and then CB Live. CB Live. I don't know why it's my favorite to do. I think it's because it has such a big green room, which is stupid. But probably the ten improv is is like my home. It's just down the street from me, so that one I really love for that. But I don't know, I just really like performing in CB Live.
So they asked me to do some other dates too, and I'm like, I just do you know, just how about the Saturday CB Live two shows? Any travel anything out of town? Nothing? Right now. I do a lot of corporate shows, so that's that's why people don't see me on the But no, I've kind of been the just figuring out what I want to do. I've been auditioning for some stuff still and uh maybe in the Super Bowls here I might be doing some more, you know,
guest appearances and stuff. It was hard last year. It was funny because all the people I'd normally do that shows guest spots on they were in LA so they could get way better guests. Like so like if you could have gotten JJ Watt this week, then I wouldn't have been here, you know. So it's it's not true you're coming either way. I was coming either way you were coming. Oh, But I mean you have to look at things in reality. I remember being in radio row at the Super Bowl years and years ago, and I
was always I was perfect because I'm the filler. I like I could make a good content for people. I could have a good people could have good interviews and interesting in something different while they're waiting for somebody like uh, you know Andrew Luck or somebody that the NFL is parading through as one of their superstar ambassador people. So
um and wouldn't be probably Andrew Luck anymore. But at the time, I just remember him being one of the big Tim Tebow was the funniest because Tim Tebow came in everything shut down. It was during tebo Mania, right, and there was a glow around him and you oh, like it literally that happened like like I'm not even making a lot of people embellished to say that there were actually angels. It was incredible. Can you do Tim? No?
But I think he is because he's an over enunciator and he's He's got a delicate voice for being such a big guy. He's a gentle giant type of person. So I think there is something, um, but I couldn't tell you what it it is exactly. But again, that's another person that's gonna be very specific. So if you work on that, it's gonna kill. In Florida, in a certain part of Florida and some of the college you know, college football fans. Do you get recognized when you're around
in Arizona? Do you have to like wear a hat all the time so people don't come up to you and say, hey, oh it's Frank Kelly. Hey can you imitate? Not really because they think I'm gonna be way taller, um, But uh yeah, sometimes it depends. I was followed around. I was the grocery store today and people are following here. I could see people, some people taking pictures of me
to see if I'm really me. They don't know if I'm Frank Caliendo or like a guy they went to school with, or if I was there gym coach or something like that. I was. There's another one and this is another one that I do a lot of workshopping here today. But I know how to do Pat McAfee. The Pat McAfee is that he's like, we have a winner right here. That's the way it's going to happen. Unbelievable. Oh and that right mind what because he does that thing where he's counting it down. We see what you
just saw. So I did a game with Pat and kirkhurb Street. I did way second. Kirk hurb Street does um football games. I didn't know that. So but between you and him, yeah right, I mean your season probably what he gets in a game, But I mean he was he's in so many different player and he's great. Herbie's a great guy and he's awesome. He's I judge people if they've come out to see me live, that's all. You're done the ranks. You're in the basement, Um, Bill
Walton come to see me three times? Are you going to stop doing it? Like during the season and a weason? What season you're in? All the seasons in the summer, never a season in the summer and you're in Italy fair not the whole time. Oh, speaking of that, have you made your plans yet to go back to your to your homeland. Yeah, we're gonna we're heading out to Italy this summer ourselves. Yeah, your wife has family there. Uh,
we're both I'm watered down Italian, she's she's much more Italian. Yeah, but uh, but definitely, Um, we're gonna take a look at some of those uh, some of the beginnings of our families and stuff like that. But it's we're gonna do Rome, We're gonna do Venice, We're gonna do We're going. We're there for like two weeks. I tried to make it ten days, but she won. So we have a tour guide and I've just spent the don it. It's
spent way too much. But tour guide has no idea what he or she is in for with you, Like, well, they don't care because you don't in other countries, I don't think there are a lot of First of all, there's not a lot of comedians. But they're also not a lot of comedians that do impressions of other people. So if you start doing impressions of famous people, yeah,
like the Morgan Freeman might work, you know. Ah, yes, as we see here that is leaning uh yeah, but I don't know like William Nison or Pacino, you know, and that's always good to be in another country going I don't know who you are, I don't know what you want. Where's my daughter? Listen? Man, it's been great having you. Yeah, thank you. I appreciate you doing this again because I know Cardinal fans needed to laugh. Yeah for the season and this is a This is a
great way to finish the year. Only one way up, guys, Yes, sir, next man up, Daddy, That's what I'm talking about. Make it happen. Thanks, Bell wreck me. Well, as you could tell, I laughed more than I spoke during that forty minutes. For Frank Caliendo, so talented, so fun to be around.
