Episode description

Ford Field was electric on Sunday night as the Detroit Lions edged out the Los Angeles Rams 24-23. After a combined 38 points scored in the first half, the Lions and Rams combined for 9 in the second half. Detroit not only won their first playoff game in ages but they also did it against their former QB, Matthew Stafford that played with the Lions for 12 seasons. Jared Goff proved to Sean McVay that he should never have been thrown out by the Rams coach, the Lions secondary sure did give up yards but not a lot of points and Lions fans that packed Ford Field were so loud that LA had to take some unplanned timeouts. Jeff Riger breaks down what happened Sunday night and you won’t want to miss Stafford at the podium postgame when he gave a really surprising answer when asked if he was happy for Lions fans who finally got to see a playoff victory.
