Episode description

Markets broadly rallied overnight, with the Nasdaq up about 1%, following a seeming calm in the Iran-Israel conflict. In response, the price of US crude oil dropped, along with energy stocks, while most of the market rallied. Tesla shares surged more than 8% following its robotaxi launch, while competitor Google dipped. Locally, Virgin will list at 12pm today under code 'VGN'. The oil price drop is as good as Virgin could have hoped for today. And its listing today follows a decline in Qantas's share price throughout June.

Stocks mentioned include Tesla, Virgin Australia, Qantas Airways, Alphabet
