Minister of Labour and Liberal MP Seamus O’Regan confirmed his resignation and that he will not seek re-election in the next federal election in a statement on Thursday. Plus, Ford Canada is reversing course and plans on using an Ontario facility originally designated for EVs to produce Super Duty trucks. And the Liberal cabinet is said to be holding a virtual meeting to discuss “appointments” on Friday, leading some to speculate if the prime minister is considering another cabinet shuffle.
