Melbourne Airport's second runway has reopened up after safety concerns forced a passenger plane to abort takeoff yesterday. All passengers were safely disembarked on the ground last night, but the plane remained on the runway overnight for safety inspections, blocking one of Melbourne's two runways and
causing delays and disruptions. A statement from Melbourne Airport confirmed the aircraft had been safely towed from the runway, with operations resuming this morning.
