Pope Francis made headlines this week when he told the Associated Press that “being homosexual isn’t a crime.” However, Francis also called homosexuality a sin, though that quote was buried later in the article. If secular media can quote religious leaders in ways that appear to support an LGBTQ agenda, many will do so. This strategy consequently makes it harder for Christians who support biblical morality to do so publicly.
