Episode description

Spider-Man centers on student Peter Parker who, after being bitten by a genetically-altered spider, gains superhuman strength and the spider-like ability to cling to any surface. He vows to use his abilities to fight crime, coming to understand the words of his beloved Uncle Ben: "With great power comes great responsibility." Like Peter's newfound abilities, taking on Spider-Man was a great responsibility. The Cutting Room Floor goes back to 2002 and let our Spidey-senses tingle — what did Sam Raimi and co. do right in this initial run of Spider-Man films? What went wrong? And what was up with the Green Goblin's mask?
