Episode description

Today we are joined by Dr. Maryanne Makredes Senna, MD, assistant professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical school, and director of the Mass General Hospital Hair Loss Clinic and clinical research trials for hair loss disorders in Boston, Massachusetts. We discuss androgenetic alopecia or AGA, which is a common form of hair loss in both men and women. In men, this condition is also known as male-pattern baldness. We dive into current treatment challenges, new regeneration devices, and how to help patients with texture hair. For more information about the survey discussed in the podcast visit our article on the Dermatology Time's website called, "Androgenetic Alopecia Study Reveals Unmet Treatment Needs."
