Episode 11 - Synanon

Anna and Mark sit down to discuss a drug rehab facility turned cult that took place in California in the late 1950s.  The leader, Charles Dederich, a former drug abuser and classic narcissist who somehow finds himself in charge of over 1,000 people who don't or cant leave the facility, even after they have been "cured".  With questionable tactics that he claimed would cure addition, he quickly found himself in charge of an armed force of overalls wearing, shaved head-militants that were ready for battle.  Anna is sickened by the "The Game" and Mark sees Chuck as winning this entire story.  Thanks for joining us and drinking the kool-aid.
