315: Halloween Ends - Commentary

So I'm going to give you a countdown. We are at the very beginning where the universal logo first appears at starts appearing and and it starts. So we've all seen him easy just to talk over them and not pay attention to much to the movie. Has everyone seen this? Oh, I do like the evolution of the Blumhouse logo. I have. Okay. Do you guys remember the old Blumhouse logo that was like just the chair going around in the girl in the corner of the room? Mm hmm.

I like the evolution of it. I do too. I kind of like the old one though, but now it has it's broad. It has more to it. My like a cod probably is this the only thing he's ever made money on? Do we know that Rob? I know he's always been in the Halloween franchise. The whole franchise. That's what I mean by it. Yeah. I mean, I'm sure he's that other movies.

You know, one one character who did not return to the franchise that I think we all miss was the iron maiden who I'm pretty sure we're all friends with now on Facebook. Nice lady. She's the one that squares off with Michael Myers armed with an iron. And is that this movie? Oh, that was the last movie. Oh, that's right. You were just saying she didn't. I was the one right. I think she probably showed up for, you know, an exchange for craft services that day. Although that you can't do that on a union production. But I think you're right, Carmelo.

I don't think she's done anything else because I think the culmination of that group was her going like, anyone know of anything or like, anyone get me something. I like this whole storyline because every time they try to give Michael Myers back story, like the cursive corn or rob zombies, everyone hates it. Now, I kind of like the rob zombie background, but people like the mystery, right? Yeah. Now, your chance to do like a. Maybe this is the kind of thing that happened to Michael, but we can't touch Michael because he's like. I mean, you know, you start like a riot the way you do if you put a car to me.

Yeah, but I mean, like this backstory has got nothing to do with Michael just this, just, just this cuckold in cell. Who just like somehow makes out with Michael and takes his powers. Like, right, they can write whatever backstreet they want for this. Right. But the second you give Michael Myers a middle name, people riot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I don't really care about Michael Myers back story. But it's important in by the only the bother me about Rob is robby thinks he's so.

Lawy's been waiting for him to escape for 40 years and is like trained to the highest level and does absolutely nothing. Yeah, and then and then two movies later when her actual daughter has been murdered.

Now she decides she can hang it up and play grandma and stop war on Michael. Why is he never in this? Yeah, she should be way more psycho. In the Halloween 2018, why didn't she just walk out the front door when she had the shotgun and blast him? Yeah. And then her whole goal was to trap him and burn the house down so nobody can actually see him die. Exactly. She's getting after the decorations. That's good. But I mean, why why did she decide to move on now? Because she hated her daughter.
