here now having that Why real ninety two three? Why iHeartRadio? What do you mean? Why? Why are you here today? Bro? Why is this important to you? Bro? Bro? Right? Legend young legend Man, he's he's I would say, I would say, like legend already, man, like you already put it enough work for that for that title. I feel now. He was a big supporter of this interview happening man, Yeah, yeah, shout out to him. I've been tapping in him for

a minute every time I see him. It's just good vibes and good energy. Bro, and my dog would just tapping with me, like keep doing what you're doing. It's like real motivated and ship like that, Like what you would motivate on my motivate strength. That's crazy. He's never once motivated. I had a compliment, jack I've never said, not another cash to back, not a callback. I don't know your background. I don't give you back. He does give me back rub sometimes my guy got hands?

Who's that? Who's I don't tell you you're I don't want to tell you the legend you do come on only when you feel bad. Yeah, but listen in retrospect, I'm I'm a fan of Yeah, what's up. I'm a fan of what's happening with us latinos. And I feel like we are in a position cool as Jackie, Jeff and I to yeah, to help this move forward and amplify what's going on. So, yeah, we gotta help whatever we gotta do to shine light on our people and and just you

know, send that tongue that we're in this together. For sure. Mine is the sing going on streaming platforms is crazy, right, congratulations on that. Right. I appreciate you, And you know, if it was up to us, we'd come in here and play whatever the fuck we want. But if not knowing man company, right, But what we can do is shed light on your situation and shed light on your music as well. Right, bring you up here and share you with our audience. I appreciate that.

I appreciate you guys for having me, and like I feel like, you know, I see you guys helping a lot, and you know, in the community with the artists and shit like that. I think it's really dope, man. And anything I could ever do to help you guys out, then you have my resources. One. I appreciate you for having me. Yes sir, Yes, sir, We'll need you for Cruise Cares team. But I did reach out to because I know you do the high school

stuff right, And remember I think I think I tapped in. I was like, Yo, we're gonna start hitting high school showing if you want to pull up with us. Yeah, yeah, he told me that. I was like, damn, that's crazy because I've always wanted to do that. I just I just didn't know how to get myself in the door like that because I do everything myself. So I'm just kind of just keep it real, like like my my whole like come up is just thugging it out.

I just figured it out like flowing structures. Yeah, Like I just I just like I don't really have a plan sometimes, I know what, I think that's the icing how most of us grow up on you know, I'm just what you got we saw growing up, right, It's what we saw growing up and it's who we become. Yeah, yeah, I think I think it's all about how you grow up to if you grow up and you just work with what you got, you're just like your mindset is already programmed

to work like that. So that's what I do. I just I really don't have no plan sometimes, and I just kind of go as I go, Like I try to hitting up the high schools talking to principles and stuff like that, but they'll kind of just like ignore us and stuff like, you know, they wouldn't like pay attention, and so I just went ahead and just did it in the parking lot outside. Yeah that's right. Oh my god, I don't want to let us in. We're gonna we're gonna

show yall we hear. You know what. What's the hardest part about being you know, in the and self funded, I say, like everything, Yeah, just trying to take everything in at one time, Like I wish it was just like getting in the studio and releasing music, Like there's so much to it, Like like I've had to like program my mindset, like to become a business now, Like I have to think like outside the box and how numbers work and how everything works. Yeah, yeah, everything like

really just really just thugging it out. Sometimes I don't even know how to do things and I just do them. And sometimes you got to go through that to take that l or whatever you got to do to continue to prosper, you know. Yeah, one thing I think we can all agree on is you got to take l's to win. It takes l's, It takes losses to win, takes lessons to win, right, What's been your biggest lesson so far? My biggest lesson would be patience. I think patience.

I feel like sometimes I've done things out of just like being impatient, and like the outcome just wasn't there, you know, Like when I drop a song like I just I wouldn't even do a rollout for it. I'll just drop it, and I knew like if I did a rollout for it properly,

it would be like ten times better, you know. But it's just it's just me trying to be consistent while trying to manage everything else as far as the merchandise, the business side of the music, the marketing, the promotion, the videos, the booking, booking models, booking videographers, booking, everything. So my mindset is just like everywhere sometimes and sometimes I'm only

give I'm only able to give certain things a certain amount of attention. But I think I'm learning as I go, you know, and I'm meeting good people around me as I go that are willing to take some weight off my back, you know, and that's how the team just is getting developed. Yeah yeah, we look like you have good people around you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You got to have people that care about you all the time and that that that's sending for your best interest, you know, yeah,

and believe in you. Yeah, exactly, exactly, because because that sucks. Like sometimes you may have like day ones you're with, but once you start on this journey, it's just sometimes you got you see some true colors from people that you wish were never there, and it sucks because they're

like your brothers, are your day ones that you grew up with. But sometimes you know, you just have to separate yourself from from something that doesn't want to see you prosper in life, like you've been through that, like you've had to do that. I always go through that. I'll still go through it to this day. Like I could count the real friends I have

with with just like my hands. That's it. Like probably like five maybe like real real real one right now, no, you know, but like you, I'm talking about like day ones that have been there from the jump, like bro, I would only say maybe like a few, like maybe three four left, you know. And it's crazy because like we all started, like I started this with a dream when we were youngsters and shit, and we it's just crazy to see that, like the process. You know,

it's crazy to see the process. But what was baking. You're like, yo, I gotta, I gotta, I'm gonna be a rap star. I'm gonna do this honestly, Like it was just all you know, everything into that. We were just kids, man, and and and I

just I've always had a passion for what I do. I would save up like everything I had, I got myself a little computer, started recording my own stuff, and you know, I would go to Hollywood Boulevard Venice all the time and just wrap over with the speaker right there my boy will be handing out flash cards back when there was uh Facebook and SoundCloud, and I mean there's still Facebook and SoundCloud, but it was popping back there. You know, I didn't have no mice face, but like I did back in

the way when I was like an elementary. Yeah, but ahead, no, it's not. But you know, my boy was just passing out the flash cars. You know, I just ride my info down and and I've always had had a had a like a passion for it, you know, and and like joke, it's not, bro, it's not. I appreciate that. Bro. People don't look at you. Some people look at you crazy, right yeah, yeah, but that's something you got to go through

as an artist. You have to break that. Like it's just like it's a crazy journey man, Like that's grassroots you gotta do to like get to where you are in the game. That's grassroots artist development, right. Yeah. Yeah, that's pretty much what it is, my boy. And and it takes a lot longer to to, you know, get to from point A to point B, because you know, you're doing it all yourself when

you're independent. But I feel like sometimes it's a lot more worth it and not saying that I'll never sign to nobody, but yeah, I mean, I just feel like I've worked so hard for this, my whole life, and and and like I would like to be with somebody that truly wants to see me succeed rather than just make a buck off me. You know, right, right, right, right right, I think much much. Don't give me a check, give me your career. Yeah, yeah, yeah, real talk, and much to your point of like it takes uh,

it's taking a long time. It takes uh. It's it's also stayed true. I think when you stay true, it takes much longer. You know what I'm saying. You're not nip pustleman, Like That's that's something I tell myself too sometimes where like y'all, it's not you're not there yet, but you're not switching up dog, And once you get there, it's gonna be that much more worth it because you did it by your own rules and you did it. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, on your own term

type ship. So yeah, man, and maybe it's not a maybe, it's not a signing, it's a partnership. That's what rusted right, Yeah, you know he built a Leverty yeah, nipped it too with the Atlantic, I believe right. Yeah, yeah, that's I mean, you're a student, bro, that's good. I'm trying my best man, and I appreciate that. Like, man, I don't even know y'all was going to go crazy like this right now, you know, like we're going like you know what I'm saying, Like I appreciate you, but I appreciate that.

No, yeah, I really appreciate it. Like I'm honored, I'm blessed to be here for real, Like you know it. It's dope, man, it's dope. I can't even believe I was. I was talking for it like I'm like, I'm like, I'm like tripping right now, Like, dam I don't really hear you hight for this ship right now? No. No. Sometimes sometimes you know, it's like it's like it's like a little age, you know. Sometimes it's like, yeah, bring anything,

man, that's the problem. They won't they won't let you out here with it. We can take a hold. I got you, I got you. What's your writing process? Like do we go in the booth and just start figuring it out or are we writing and are we calculating it? Oh? Man, it's just I really like planning my stuff out. I don't really like going in the studio and doing it there and there. I made some dope songs like that too, but I don't know, man, I

like I like taking my time on it. I feel like a song is going to be here for a long time and and yeah forever, gotta Yeah, your work gotta be you know what I mean. You gotta be bro, gotta be solid. So I like writing writing. I'll write a song like maybe here and there, it depends what kind of song it is. Like the storytelling is crazy for me, Like that's that's some of my hardest

process. That's like my hardest process right there, of like storytelling, cause sometimes like when you when you build, when you make a song based off of a story, it's so crazy because now you like, I feel like an author sometimes you know, I gotta I gotta, I gotta piece it up like with a climax, and you know what I'm saying. Then it becomes an audiobook as you recorded. Yeah, but that's some of my biggest

like music right there. And I don't even have a lot of storytelling stuff out yet, but I got a whole project of that, like ready to go. But like I have, I have, I have stuff in the vaulte. But I'm just like I still got to continue growing in my career to build those resources to push it as big as I could push it, for sure. Yeah, so break down Mud for us Mud. It's just you know, like keep it real with you. Like I'll be doing the West Coast stuff and the wavy stuff, and I just really wanted to do

it just for just for people to vibe to in the club. You know what I'm saying, something that's something that's catchy. I know it's not as lyrical because like like I don't know, just like catchy songs is just like a different writing process for me. And I just do it for like the vibe, not really like the lyrics gotta be hard too. But I could prove my lyrics on some on some real rap shit like that's that's I could

do that. But I like to do a little bit of everything. Some for the ladies, some for the clubs, and just some deep stuff that you're just gonna feel in your heart. That's that's my goal to right there, the stuff that you get the goosebumps from. Man, that's my ship, my boy, like that. That's that's what I really love right there, Like, that's that's the definition of seeing g like my my storytelling for sure, you gotta tap into emotions for that, have to Yeah, yeah,

like real real life. Yeah, Lost Soldier was one of one of my biggest crowns. It's crazy, bro Like when I go for perform it, like I was just in Boise like two weeks ago in Denver, Like when I go down there and I just I see my fans and and and they just like they're singing there. They're pouring their heart out. Some are crying, some are hugging me. That song is just like has impacted so

many people in like a crazy way. And that song did take me a while to develop too, So I'm glad I stood patient with that when it rolled it out the proper way. Yeah, man, stick to that process. Yeah, I gotta stick to it. Yeah, I gotta trust it. Do you believe latinos and hip hop are overlooked underpaid? I wouldn't say like overlooked anymore, but I feel like maybe like not underpaid, not not the not the corrillos and stuff, but for sure maybe the hip hop.

And honestly though I think it exceeds ethnicity. It's just about creating your worth, you know, as as no matter what you you know who you are and what you are, creating a work for yourself. Yeah, and it takes time. It takes time, man, But I feel like there's a lot of talent in my lane, like hip hop that are that are getting recognized now more than back then, and I think that's really good to see. Is there a list of people you want to work with? Oh?

Man, Yeah, that's okay, there there is. But like the thing about me is like my taste of music is just everywhere. Like I like all types of music. Yeah, yeah, I mean Colin Harris, it's not far Fett. Yeah. I mean it just depends on what type of song it's going to be. Yeah, if it's going to be something for the club, obviously some lit like ice spice, you know, but if it's something like really deep and storytelling, then there would be somebody like maybe,

I mean, Logic's out the game. He's not really doing it no more. He needs to. He's dope, man, He's dope as fuck. I mean, Joining Lucas, he's always I think I think I like to do something with Joining Lucas on some real storytelling ship like yeah, something crazy. When I see his ship, it reminds me of like me in the way, like I kind of like, I mean, I'm not there yet where he's at, but like visuals, yeah, crazy, He's definitely in the lane that I see myself in. Yeah you know that's just me,

yes, sir you Yeah. He was just up here the other day with a tour bus and ship. I was like, yo, that's insane. He pulled it up down. Yeah. I was like I was trying to take a picture in front of it. Like as far as tour goes, what's what's the furthest place music has taken you? I say, like like Arkansas? Yeah yeah, it was crazy, dog, it was crazy. People knew me out there. I was like, what, it's crazy. I used to live Indiana when I was little for like two years.

So yeah, it reminded me of like Indiana's not so much to the south, but it kind of got that vibe a little bit. I used to catch those little little fireflies. Yeah yeah yeah yeah really real yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah real. B So, how did you end up in Indiana? Like under one circumstances? Oh, like, uh, my mother was a single mother out here and she uh, like my stepdad was out there. Why she went out there? Like you made your real dad once?

Yeah? Yeah, once he's in Mexico. Yeah, ship did it suck? Uh? Ship? I don't know. I was young, bro, I was like twelve years old. I think it was just kind of a little awkward for what do you say? We just we just hugged each other. And I don't know why. I never known him, but but I cried. I was twelve. Yeah, Like it was just tripped to me me, like I never met this man, but like I feel like I feel like like you just felt like he was somebody that is very important my

life, you know, it was. It was. It was a crazy experience. Yet, but I've seen him. I met him only one ship. Yeah, man, favorite la food spots. Oh, I wouldn't say. I wouldn't say it's l A or you know what, they gotta want to cut a hay hane. What is it called brot or something like that. Yeah, yeah, I know, taco spot. I don't know. Yeah, but I'm a dog lover. I know, I know me too. The name kind of the name kind of threw me off, but all the way off. Hey, check it out. They got some They bring
