Dude, hold the hold the belt, firs me when I walk in, just to live my pocket and break the book a little rip your arms about the socket. You don't like the yo, these holes without a doubt. I get that work in the draft. You know it's blood and blood out this single joke. If you putting up people spoke, don't catch your blay didn't give you. Just need to make your bounce like La socks Cortes, I low, I know you saw the kitty for the lord law to take
cash up sare leave it Van montro By DJ fuse over there. Let's go, Yo, the Yodi's is here, coyotes, cruise show real nay, let's go. What's up? The baby were home? Yeah, let's talk about that. Let's why what? Why is this? Why? Real? Ninety two three? Fella man? Because before anybody gave us a shot, the first radio station to ever interview these two pultos right here. What's ninety points? Yeah, very we never left left man. It's good to see you. Good, look you guys man. It's good to see you,
guys man. And we're Latinos, so we understand loyalty and we remember. We never forget, never forget, never forget for everybody out there. Man, you can't forget the people that have helped you along the way. You know what I'm saying. First time, that looked like a whole different person. My d aging backwards over here, Benjamin Button, bro. Man, So my dude shaved like a two hundred pounds inspiration. He inspired me to get on my journey and all that man, and dope artists too. Man.
So it's only right we come back double back, and that's love. Man. We appreciate it. Man. Yes, sir, guys for having us here, sharing your platform and more eyes on us when we're here. If it's get to have the message, it's at yours bro, exactly. So we're getting the message out and the messages Mexican Americans are here. We're not asking for your respect. We're demanding that, yeah, one hundred percent. And we were boxing with the elites when when it comes to anything,
it's like, put some respect on our name. Bro. We're no longer just the help in this country. Like now we are the help, but we're also owning the property that's getting the help. Buildest. Yeah, we're gonna own real estate in this in this country and it's happening, bro, and Jay Cruz and let and everybody here. They've been paving the way alongside a whole bunch of others, and now it's time to take it to the next level. When you when you hear Mexican, you're no longer gonna think
the same thing you thought for fifty years. Now you're gonna see us, and we're gonna box with the highest of the highest. And that's what we're here to represent. Yeah. Where the hell we help build this country? Yeahactly, exactly. Now it's time we own real estate. And now we own it. Yeah, the United States of Mexico. Yeah that part. So everybody else better fall in line, because we're here for love, bro. But a lot of times, like people try to see us as then
and I'm over that, Bro, I'm over that. And we all are. Yeah, and I'm glad to see all the world's uniting, like the radio world, the acting world, the rapping world, like every Latino that is somebody almost knows each other, and we're no longer like like like just me, Like now we're starting to like embrace each other and paying it forward. Yeah's help. This is why I was excited when I saw you guys
link up with Mario Lopez. You know, he's a conservative, right, so, like there may be views of his that I don't necessarily agree with, but he's a Latino at the end of the day. Yeah, he's
outside at the end of the day. His coach switch is crazy, by the way, but yo, Like, he's a Latino at the end of the day, and a legend at the end of the pioneer, sir, one of the first right in our Mexican American as a child, like watching the television, he was probably the only figure that I saw growing up that resembled what I was, brown like us. Yeah, and we're talking about when you even think think about it how it is nowadays, bro, Like,
imagine how it was back then. Like he probably had nobody around him that was Latina trying to help out. So he was out there by himself, trying to make it in Hollywood, you know what I'm saying in the white world. Yeah, it's crazy how some people didn't even know he was Latino up until like recently recently. Yeah, even people we talked to today, we're like, damn, we got yeah, we got Mario Lopez, Like, so we got a double Latino casting there like he's not Latino?
What yeah, like too, like he's not just you know. So it was super cool, bro, And the internet's a wild place, and people are starting to see the value in what Latinos bring and we're uniting. For most importantly, I think the reason we haven't got are just through was because of us. Like we've always been like nah, just me, I'm the
only one, and now it's changing. We're like nah, Like together, we're stronger and we're starting to help each other out, like me and me and my bro, like we're in hindsight, we're nobody, right, And here you got Mario Lopez, a certified person in Hollywood. That's like, you know what you guys are doing, cool stuf. I'm gonna pull up for the love for the free. You guys have a cool ass idea and
let's do it. Like, let's do it steps, yeah, steps, all this little local stuff going on in La you know what we're doing. We're going straight to the bag. That's what we're doing to corporate America. Here we come, Shaquille and Neo Mario Lopez. They see what we see and greatness recognize greatness. That's how I see it. You know what that tells me? You guys are not playing small, We're not playing. We're done. We're done playing. We're all in, bro We're all in,
we're invested fully, we're going for broke. This don't work out for me and him, We're gonna be under the freeway pitching the tent somewhere. Okay, now, okay, we're an escrow on the game that we're closing. Literally because to buy ourselves out our deal, I had to take a lean on my house. I was like, there's no way we're gonna get popping on our own and us being having paperwork somewhere else and then they get to
reap the benefit of what we're about you do. So I was like, you know what, we're literally going for broke, Like how much equity are going to my house? Man? Take that out? Like how much did you want to let us go? We just spent thirty periods of two videos, and we spent thirty man on three videos out of our podcast Sir, These relationships me and my brother are building. We're just off the strength of the love, you know what I'm saying, a relationship with our long our
other long lost pretty molle right here. That's right, that's right, that's right. Yeah, that's what I mean to your point, Like I think I think you guys hit it on the nail, like greatness recognized greatness. That's why the doors are going to be open here. I remember earlier we were talking out fair. You guys were like, well, we got to make the most of today because we don't know if we're going to come back again. I was like, no, no, no, no, already
and if we're here, we're here. Yeah, you let us see. Hey, y'all heard it here first you guys switched up on this. Get me on there like that flop, hey, flop. Flopping is a blessing, bro, Flopping is what got us here, is a blessing. A lot of failing, a lot of shots shooting. Success needs failure, Yes, sir, it really does. We're not done failing. You might the
next thing we dropped might fail. That don't that don't justify or or define who we are and who we know we are, like, and that's the message we want to we want to spread too, like hey, everyone out there, like shoot your shot man? So what people forget fast, Like you're gonna fail, We're all gonna get Fuck yeah, we're all gonna die at the end of the day. Watch you catch so much? Who gives a brat's ask? What's going on? Chase that ship. It might sound
cliche and corny, whatever, I don't give a fuck. It's the truth. You gotta treat a dream. Chase it because guess what, We're all going in the same place when all this ship is over with, when the simulation cuts. Have you guys? Always have you guys? I've been in sync with you, guys each other musically, career wise or you guys. Yeah, man, we rarely fight. We have an utmost respect for each other as individual. Time we fight. When we do fight, which is
rare, he starts crying, why are you doing you like that? They cried the last time because it was a big fight and it was at a wedding and you know, like we probably it was an emotional days day we're kicking in and we weren't out our situation yet. I dragged him along to a lot of ideas that that fell. And sometimes naturally humans are like, bro, I'm tired of this ship, Like how long we gonna fail for?
It just so happens that it was at on a large event, a family event where we decided to bump heats, but it should have to be said, and unbeknownst to that, the next couple of days we go viral. So it's like just when we threw like it's changed at means like I don't want this ship Like then a couple of days later, it's like ship starts fucking going. It's like, you know, that's not a breakdown, that's a breakthrough. Yea. What pressures do you have as a big brother
and what pressures you have as a little brother. As a little brother, It's like, no pressure, that's right. I'm a little like Yeah, sometimes when I look back in hindsight, I'm like, damn, I was fucked up for that, like or you know what I'm saying, like I should probably be doing a little bit more, but you got the passage, bro, bro hold down. So it's like people even call me and I'll be like call vic. I always say this like I'm the manager of the
like day today right here, that's right, today, man's family. Man, you're your brother's keeper. Right. I text them everything. I don't care if it if I've told them a hundred times. I have to text them every day we got something going on. If you don't want to do it, I'm like you have to do it. It's like I don't give a fuck. We're doing it because at this stage you need every and every look you could get. Like how the internet works today is like if you
disappear for two weeks, you fell off. Like where you guys been with you? We just posted two weeks ago. Yeh Yeah, in this day and age, that don't matter. What did you do today? Yeah? What's going on today? Yeah? Exactly? Fully independent tellers, fully independent. So there is a clause that I do want to I'll say it here first and foremost. So we bought ourselves out right whack, as everybody knows.
We were so out the whack. Personally. We have a good relationship with him, his Internet attics or whatever that that is what it is. He did good business with us and he let us go. So he agreed to all our terms, you know what I'm saying, And he added one term where he has seven songs of ours that he's gonna release at one point, and we're like, that's fine. As long as we free as birds. You could whatever it is. So as it stands today, Coyote is
one hundred and fifty thousand percent independent. Don't believe what anybody else says. Like, nobody else is in charge of our vision, nobody else is in charge of our budgets, no one else is in charge of anything. Our ideas is completely a couple of deals on the table, Yo that Yo? So yeah, I was gonna ask what's it gonna take? Or is a partnership a partnership? Is that door open for interscope atlantic universal man? For
sure? I mean we're sitting down with everybody right now, so yeah, whatever the best deal is for a partnership, not no slave deal, not no three to sixty stuff. Yeah, Like, we'll sit down and we'll consider it. But as of now, we've been moving independent and it's beautiful. If you ask me, like, what's the best part of it? Would you say about being independent? Being able to do whatever you want? And when you don't got you gotta wait on anybody? You could just drop.
If I wanted to drop a song right now, I'll drop it right now, I'll bload it. No less less uh ideas of what you should be doing, because whether we like it or not, it clouds your judgment. So when you have a room full of people that are like, oh, you guys should be doing this, should be doing that, then you take their advice and it feels bigger than everything you've ever done. It doesn't
feel good. So I'd rather us feil on what we think is cool and at least we think it's cool even if it doesn't do good Versus then we thought that was trash, and it was trash. Nobody even liked it, Like, just too many opinions coming in, and it's like, at the end of the day, you just got to stick to your guns and then do whatever you feel is right. Sure as an artist that you feel like,
nah, this is trusting your foot forward right here. This is I put my my war and so into this, and this is what I'm gonna give to the people instead of a bunch of suits and A and R is telling you, y'all gotta look like this person, y'all gotta sound like these people. And then to me, it's always a roof to like the local la stuff. So we try to think outside of that, bro and think bigger. You gouts, study you gotta study nips plan oh for sure,
stuff Studying it very closely. One of my good friends that we started rapping with early on in two thousand and like eight put us on to nip and his whole mission. It's been the same since the gate. So it took Nipsey a long time to get to where he was before his untimely demise. But that's how I feel our path been. We've been doing this. I just saw recently a YouTube alert. Our first video dropped was fifteen years ago, you know what I'm saying. So we've been doing this a long time.
And Coyotes like three years, four years old. Coyote is a relatively new thing, but as far as like making music, it's been a long journey, and there's been a lot of pussy footing in us making excuses up on why it's not working. And somehow Yote like just all the stars aligned and we stopped giving excuses for ourselves, even with the record label thing when they benched us, because that's what happened. We got benched, Like we've
basted in that excuse for about a year. But then how long we gonna use this an excuse when we have this, We have the the Internet, we have eight billion people right here. We just have to find them. And then once that there, Yeah, once that clicked, everything else started changing. So we were in paperwork, but we've been moving independent since twenty
twenty one. Let's go, you know what I'm saying. So, and I know you guys have got the Cypress Hill, you know what I mean, the legendary, right, who else do we look up to as far as the Latino rap world, Big Pun, Big Pun, bless that Cycle, Realm Cycle. Shout out to Big Duke and Sick Jacket. We've been tapping the comments too, that's right there they You know, I think they could have been way bigger too if whatever happened didn't happen. They're still doing
their thing though it was in the Latino space. I mean, Kid Frod has a couple of joints and that's about it. Bro. But the our peers, Fat Joe, like the people that we really try to mold our career after would be the only two really is Cypress Hill in Big Pun because they broke barriers that weren't just for us, Like it's cool to just be for us, but Cypress Hill and Big Pun was for everybody. So that's our our mantra is like nah, yeah, we're gonna put our culture on
our back, but it's gonna be for everybody. They just weren't Latino rappers. They were like they were rappers that have to be Latino exactly. Yeah. Man, throw two names out there though, right, Uh, MC Magic, who's not a rapper, but MC magic is a legend. Boom right, he's on He's on our joint with Mario Lopez too, Magics on that song. Yeah, yeah, the Magic. I forgot him Bill Roberts.
Well, he's gonna send that record back in like thirty seconds to as soon as you Magic Magic, yeah quick right, yeah, hey yeah, yeah, we've seen it. We've seen it. So he's also on that Mario Lopez song and video. The whole cast is crazy. Man. We got Mario Lopez, the Yodi's MC Magic, ken Flores Concrete on their whole cut. He didn't make it. What happened. It was my goddaughter's breakday part. I don't care. Let's care. Let's is a busy guy. No, it's my pretty more right here, man, it's my listen.
Let you soon would have done it bigger. Let you would have done that would have been there. We had tacos and it was bigger that say no, cat, let's just not on the radio. He's in the studio. I saw him at the studio, or he's with female company. Generally, he spreads himself pretty thin. Paul, Yeah, no, they invited me. This is probably the second bit of they invited me to and you didn't go to. I'm gonna make that third one cruise. I'm inviting you next
time. The invide should have done over here. I'm there, I'm there. Watch now he got one more? He's got too? He does it does? Yes? He does, Bro, Yes he does. Yeah. Someone had to say legend. That's the fucking truth, bro, that's the truth. He gets away with murder because he knows I'm here exactly. You know what I'm saying. But you know it's it's a part of our duty, man. Yeah. Man, Yeah. In that video that he was talking about, I feel is so culturally important, man, Like it's we
were just watching it before getting in here. Man. It just gives me chills every time. You know what I'm saying, like just trying to put on for our people, bro, Like you know what I'm saying, that's all we're trying to do. Mexican Americans are cool too. Yeah, pretty much as far as visuals, you guys are fucking creative as fuck. Thank you. Where does that stem from? What are being weirdos? Yeah?
Maybe we grew up a large part of our life in Hawthorn. And the thing that people don't say about Hawthorne, like Tar of the Creators also from Hawthorne, Like Hawthorne's in the middle of the hood is right here. You got Lenox, Inglewood Hawthorn. Then you got Elsa Gundo over here, which is a lot of like skateboard and surfer culture. So Hawthorne is like a
melting pot. So so you you get influenced by every thing, like the street culture, then the skateboarding culture, the white culture, the solo culture, the black culture. So I think in Hawthorne you create this melting pot of just like creativeness. That's the only thing I could describe that you're influenced by every world and not to mention being first generation. So on your household you have Mexican culture. My dad, you know, he's a immigrant or
was immigrant. He's back in Mexico from from Mexico. So in the household is all Mexican stuff. Then you enter the world in Los Angeles, and it's hip hop and everything else that comes with LA skateboarding. So I think maybe that played a part in our creative mind for movies and cartoons. I don't know, what, do you think being weird those Yeah? Yeah weird? Yeah yeah, embrace your weirdness. I think in LA sometimes where to embrace being yourself. That's the hardest thing to do for people. Yeah.
Man, that's why this whole notion that LA stuff don't leave La, which is not true, by the way, Go look at skilled school boys Q tweet heat hit it right on the money, Like it's not true. But I think when people say that, they're talking about the regional sound because a lot of people are I don't know if they're afraid or I don't know what to be like not for what it is in LA the street culture. It's like every almost every rapper that's coming out locally is in that world, and
we pride ourselves being completely different. I don't even want to be a part of that world. I don't even want to rub shoulders with y'all. Man, We've tried and it didn't work for us, Is that right? Yeah, there's no going back and trying again. No, no, no, man, we're not reaching out to people no more Like if y'all like what we're doing, which y'all probably don't. We know you don't, so let it be known when you see this man, don't be as there it is.
Yeah here, I rather know you don't. Locals exactly call us weirdos in our face, you know what I'm saying, Like, call us weirdos in our face. Bro, like's different when you're over six feet and fucking been bench pressing sixty So it's like behind a keyboard, these weirdos aren't really outside. Yeah, suck my dick. Like when they see us, be like, y'all killing it that last video, Gorse, It's like, let me get that's why we follow back. Let's part of the interview. In
the world, the world they call they call it. Y'll do the problem promo for what yo promo? Yo, it's the it's the motherfucking Yodi's We are the tack team champs. Don't you ever compare to anybody in l A that isn't the elite? You know what we're talking about? All this local mumbo jumbo, Like he's the best, he's the best. Man fuck that ship. Motherfuckers, get a motherfucking nice car in the warehouse and shoot a video. Be like, damn, we shot a movie. Nah, Bro,
you shot some low budget garbage. Bro, go look at our ship. Bro. When you start mentioning people in l A and you don't mentioned the yodi's, you you you motherfucking playing your motherfucking self. There's a difference between being delusional and being confident. There's a difference between being delusional and living in reality. A lot of these guys are delusional. They're not living in this world. Being my brother, we oose confidence. Yeah, y'all just
delusional. You're not the best. You're not the best. And oftentimes people confuse popularity with actual skill. So it's like, you may be more popular than the yodis, you may have this that more than Yodi's, but you're not better than the yodies. Bro. There's nobody in LA in the local realm that is even fucking with anything we're doing bro, visually, lyrically or anything. Bro. So we detack Team Champs. I'm standing on it and we're standing on couches. Man, what the fuck we're doing, sir?
Yeah? Man, I love the promo. I love the promo, but it's real. Ship, were speaking from the heart. We're speaking from our experience. Yeah for sure, man, you know they stand on it. May You're right, we got to stand on it. We're definitely not the head of the snake, but we're here to cut the head of the snake it off. Man, that's what I'm saying. Okay, okay, and y'all got with the honorary Latino big shock my gee. Yeah that yeah,
yeah, that's right, that's right. That's the third said. Nobody answered Ship one time, one more time? Supposed to call FaceTime on is he talking Spanish? Called? Uh? I don't see tell them, tell them tell me the face time. I'm a FaceTime shock. Just so y'all know we ain't bullshit, is get it? Name the mother fucking other anybody in l A. Guy is able to do this. Nobody supposed to be locals out on all streaming platform were here. They say, call now and pick
up what up diesel shot here? Yeah, yes, sir, so call in. They said, they'll pick up right now. All right, you're tired. Yeah, Like I said, name another Latino in l A. I could just FaceTime shot talk to him to it we were Yeah, yeah, collab. I'll shoot my shot right now, shoot our shots sho rebod deal relarge collab with that nice you just said to Echo. That's why do you think there's a lack of respect with amongst Latinos and music, like amongst
ourselves or other people, you know, with with Latinos. Unfortunately, sometimes there's a lot of hate before it's love. Whatever reason. I don't understand that because the crabs in a bucket, we've never seen ourselves uh on on screen, so when we do, we want to hate on each other because we think it's only enough for one. Maybe that's right. You know something that big Shock is on Yo shot Dagel, Hello, what's happening there? He is the honorary third Yodie. Yeah, no one else claiming man yo
Shock Hey shaq man Yo. This is cruise man, Jeff Garcia the sports do this here, Cruise show l A. You know, we love you man and we appreciate the time. Why is it so important to link up with the yodis and why is it so important to you Shack We're one, they're dope two. I like, I like what they've been doing on the underground scene and you know, they asked me to be on the track with them, So this is my second time doing and we might put out an album. We don't know. Yah you hear far, Yes, sir,
Yeah we might. We will put out an album. We are going for the three P. We're going for the three P for show. Hey, Shaq, quick question. Let me ask you this question. Let me ask you this question. Have you ever seen a black coyote? I have? Hey Shaq, You've never had more more musical success than here in Los Angeles. Why do you think that is? I mean, well, legend.
I work with some of the best out there. DJ Quick G, One Q, Snoop, everybody showed me love, Nate DOGG, l R I P. You know, for me, it was just about not really being an artist, but just me, you know, a basketball player, rapping with my favorite artists, and you guys always showed me love, and you know, it was just it was just one big party, you know with Shack. You know, legend on the court obviously, right, legend in there obviously, Legend on TV obviously, Legend and music obviously, and a
legend in business as well. This man owns Marilyn Monroe. He owns forever twenty one. Papa John's I mean talk Shack is not playing, so on the business side, it's got to be inspiring as well. Oh man, oh man. Just being able to just be around Shack and just like feel his aura. Man, he's just a good human being at the end of the right feeling. Aside from the business stuff, you could just tell this guy's just spreading his love. And to mess with two Mexicans out of La
Bro it was just, you know, surreal for him. He's all of us either got him humans and he's the blessing that keeps on blessing. Bro. I love shocked to death and the Jolis and the Jolies don't understand this, but I'm down with Loroso. I'm from San Antonio, so I grew up around Mexicans all my life. So when I shot that video with them, it actually brought me back to the hood when I was growing up with my boys, John Ramos, Ramos boys, Ramos family used to take care
of me when I was going to tell them so I love everybody. But when I shot the first video with them, it just you know, brought me back all up, all the hommies and all the kids I think we just had a great time. That's in me, Shack. They can if they can't, don't wear him man. And this one, Shaq, let me tell him a little about this song. So when we made the first one, Shack started sending this beat. So this is also a co produced Shack beat. And who else Coco? Who else produced his Beato Coco and
Brian Body. Yeah, so this is also a Shack produced beat. We send it to him, we send it right back. And this song is about championship, is about winners, uh, any anyone that's ever suffered losses and finally gets the win. That's how we felt like when we did the song with Shaq, So that's what came out. And then to have Shaq want to get on that song too was like super crazy for us. And in the video we have Shack ripping off Charles Barkley's head. That's all I
was ringing. Whenever you want to get to us, you ain't got That's it. That's it, that's it. Hey, Shack, were ready to go on T n T too. Man, you want to pull this up. You know we're gonna promote the record. Done done, brother, heard of her first man, that's March eighth, Ring March eighth, Rings is dropping man coyote feature in Shaq? Who is really just coyote? Because Shaq is a yody man. That's it. That's right. You ain't never seen
a black yody before. You heard him say, come on, man, Shacky, We love you brother, Thank you so much, man, love you too. Hit you man? Man? Alright, shock, gee there it is. Bro's everything that yo I'm reading here. You guys got kicked out of Rolling Loud? Oh yeah, man, what happened? Fellas? Look you missed all the shots you don't take, okay, And you know we got this far by by not waiting, by taking what we want.
And you know what I'm saying. And when Rolling Loud comes to l A and then we don't see the yodis on that lineup, it kind of rubs me the wrong way. I'm not gonna lie. I feel away, you know what I'm saying. And I'm like, half these dudes don't deserve to be up here like we do. So I was like, you know what, I saw my opportunity the currency was getting off the stage and and he was like, who do I get this mic to? I said, right here, right, hereare Claire. That's me. That's me. I said,
check, check check, I heard myself. I ran out there and I was like, Rolling Loud, make some fucking They cut my mic off and then I just looked at my brother in the cut. He's laughing, we gotta get out here, bro. But it was a whole miss in that day. We're like, bro, we gotta crash Rolling Loud. That day, we didn't know how we were in to get in and what we were gonna do. I hit up a few people that we got bass for you. I was like, say, let's we thought they were you could
all actions right. They weren't. We're getting in place there, Yeah, they're not g A, they're just regular v I P. Right. But then we see Brittany Renner and I was ready to call it. Ri's like, we're not calling it. He's like, that's Brittany Renner right now. Let's go. Let's just say we're a part of her crew. We looked the part, you know what I'm saying. So we're going in and we're just like we're with them, and they're like, all right, cool.
So we're like we're with them in the whole way up the stage, yeah, that's Steve YT's put up to handle the first one that planned to see for us to do it, because he wanted us to go to the handed things to Yo, we fake gave away a card to what do you with that we fake gave away? Yeah, Well, like he's the winner right here, and let's give him the keys. He can end us. After the guy like, hey, they never gave me the car. I was like, I know, you gotta run it up with them. All I
did was give it away. Bro. You know, I'm not charge of the rules. So all that EDO was like, if you guys can find a way to roll in loud, you guys can perform here. So we're like, oh, we gotta find a way and rolling loud. Yeah, And then we did that, and then we took it another notch and we rushed one of the main stages, which my brother took it from currency and then left us getting kicked out. Man, So do we got to talk to the powers that be? What's his name, Tar, that's what man?
That's my guy? He owes me one. Yeah, man, you heard it here from proof Man. Yoda's in the al a rolling loud. It don't make no sense. Don't make so we had to do. We had to do yeah. Yeah, and we got the content for it, so it was a success. Right, it's all about we got the content. Hey, I heard Toyota was trying to pull us out again. I threw zetto. I had another I have a you know, we own the
barbershop. One of my clients that I used to cut there, he said that he's seen the Toyota stuff and he's like, I'm just trying to get them to really get you all to pull out this time. But uh, I don't think we're PC enough or whatever. What do they call it? Family? Yeah, we're not family family enough for Toyota. That's all rights too much. Yeah, that's all right. We'll get them to come around, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, So what's the what's the production
and the writing process for you guys? In the studio? Ever we lock in, we're in there solo. We need a lot of sometimes for the most part is just me and him solo. We like to bounce back ideas and stuff. And like a lot of the verses you hear too, both of us worked on them, but some of them we work on them alone. But then I feel like our best work is when me and him do a collaborative effort on the verses and you know, we trade back bars. We say, ah, no, this one could be better. This one's
a solid right here, you know what I'm saying. And everything's in house, so like it's everything that we do is at our crib and at our personal studio. We engineer ourselves, mix ourselves, and we don't cut ourselves no slack anymore. Like if he has a bar, I don't like, I'll be like nah, and vice versa. But not time. We gotta be honest with each other, especially if it's a big record like the Shock one that we definitely nitpicked each other versus anything we do that's ade a higher
level. We're nitpicking every so often we get it on the first go, though a lot of times I'll pull in and I'll be like, yeah, that's it, you know what I'm saying. Because he records a lot himself, I record a lot of myself, and then we come in together to like nitpick more so than to be together. Our process is so weird, bro, because we got kids, families, a business, so we get
the recording whenever we can, Like if it's in the morning. I have an hour space before I drop my son off the school, and then got to head to the shop real quick, and I had this idea, I'm a lacy real quick. Then I'll send it to Rick see if he likes it, or he'll just show up later and see if he likes it. So it's not like, oh, let's get in the studio. We're in the studio chilling and we got to walk in inspired. Yeah. I'm still a fan of the paper and pad too, something about that, bro.
It's different like when I write my verses on your phone. It's cool, but it feels more like personal when I'm writing it down on the path. So I still like writing for sure. Yeah, man, I'm more. I don't write no more. I write as I well, I'm in the studio and I'll write every four bars. I'll just be like I think four bars and I'll lays them, you know, I think four bars and all lays. Yeah, man, everyone has the process. Yeah, for sure, you know, because I'm lazy. Though I think I got lazy.
I can't read my own writing. I know. I'll be tagging, like yeah, I like tagging and drawing and stuff like that, so I like having the pad. That's right, yo, man, it's love man, congratulate El dot Aliens about to drop. So we got this Rings joint dropping with Shaq first watch Eighth Rings featuring Shack. Then a couple of weeks later we Goto featuring Empty Magic and Mario Lopez. Then after that we got a song called Conversation with the Devil, which is the Yodies featuring Lucifer, and
then after that we got l dot Aliens dropping. But it ain't on no weird shit with with Satan. We can to put the middle finger up to that motherfucker choose God every time, but he's trying to convince us to sell our soul and we do a hard pass. But it's gonna be a crazy story, crazy visual and yeah, man, after that one, it's over with. If you don't got my phone now, don't even call bro.
