know, Snoop's amazing. I told Snoop, listen, man, if you can pull this off, brother, you can go to a place where, for sure, not many rappers or not many actors get a chance to go. That's a fact. The big screen making it happen. Mike EPs is in it too. You know a few other comedians as well. I love how Snoop he enjoys working with comedians, right, I mean, you guys are laughing on set all day and maybe smoking a little bit too or no, well, you know the you know Snoop has a stand in that looks
exactly like Snoop. I had to talk to the dude about pretending he was Snoop, but you could be twenty five Street from that dude, and no, it's not Snoop. Yeah yeah, but what But what I like Snoop is is that you know he does his work and you think, yeah, that he's not gonna be there early. You think he's not going to be connected. Man, those kids were great. He's great with the kids.
The story is good. And the fact that you know, the guys that work with me said, hey, you know they're gonna you're gonna get sent a script to about Snoop this movie. Take a look at it. You know, we don't think the part's big enough. And I said, well, let me look at it. And then I got a text from Snoop and he's like, YO, because I need you man, And I'm like, I'm down. That's it. That's all it takes, right, I mean, Yo, when two legends get together is movie time. It's awesome.
Man. I think you know, I think it's it's good for people. You know, it's a little bit edgy, it's a little bit you know, it's not. Yeah. So I think right now, I think we need to start to see those movies to absolutely good underdog story and it's called the Underdogs on Prime officially out right now with Snoop Dogg George Lopez. Yeah, but that would be a blast to take some of our audience down there, man
and appreciate that in person, you know for sure. Then you get wander off and going up in Harry Potter up over the Mummy Lechetto contract for the voice, you know what I mean. Yeah, that's dope, man. No, we want you to come with us to a movie. I forget, hey, Georgia. Unfortunately, today marks the four year anniversary when we lost Kobe Bryant and Gigi. Obviously he was very near and dear to your heart. You knew him very well. I mean, it seems like it was yesterday, first of all, and
it's still after four years. Doesn't seem real, no, you know, man, Kobe was supposed to get old with us, like you know, I mean, not old enough to bust his hip like Kareem, but at least older so that he was always with us, Like that's our dude, you know, Will's gone, Kareem is the older guys, pat Riley, even Magic. It's like all you guys your generation, Kobe was your Kobe was your guy. I mean, he was so amazing, and it's I don't know what the I don't know what the world is or God had a
plan, but it just doesn't seem fair. It doesn't seem fair at all, man, And it still feels so real, right, I mean you knew him personally as well. The last time we had you on you you talked about a story where he took a picture in front of your Christmas tree
at your house and then used it as his Christmas card. Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, And I said, and at one time, you know, we did a thing where we surprised him at the talk show and they had a couple of regular people asking questions and then I go one more time, time for one more question. And then he sees that it's Derek Fisher, and you know that the audience reacts, goes the connection those two guys had, and he said, Hey, I want to ask Kobe something.
And he said, what about the Eagles or the Cowboys beat the Eagles last Sunday? And it's like oh, and it gets quiet, and Kobe looked at me and he goes, come on, my whole as stick coming on. Oh that's so legendary. That's right, he spokes now. And you know, like the like the thing with you know, the thing with Kobe or and and those guys is that when my talk show started, Kobe never did anything once the season started because that was his thing. I'm a football
basketball player. I do only worry about basketball. This is all I'm gonna do. And then he came and did my top show the first episode. Wow he did that. That's love, man, that was your brother right there. Man. Yes, so do we man, you and Fluffy at the Golden Globes watching you guys together do your thing. Man, that was
great. That was really dope for comedy. Man. Yeah, you know, with black comedy being like The Crown right now on Netflix, Uh, that I decided that, uh that maybe Gabriel and I should should do something together. Yeah, boy, I had a boy, that's it. We need our fucking we need our our flowers too, you feel me? Yeah? And I hope that, you know, we're working on something else that that people will see later on. But you know, I really didn't know
Gabriel over these last like twenty five years. But he's a good dude. He's a good dude. I spent some time with him recently and he's a good guy. Hey. And to be honest, he does a good impression of you too. Dog. I don't know who you've seen it. It's pretty good, brotty good, you know.
