So today we're gonna put a special guests or two guests. Actually, we've got Richard and Jazz from the bringing battle war gaming, YouTube channel. So guys, thanks very much for joining us. Yeah, that's right. You're more than welcome a. I don't know why but everybody calls Jason Jazz. Yeah, unless you got your jazz hands, I don't know. It's Jason may all Jase Jase, right? Okay. I thought I thought was Jazz. Sorry. Jason. Names. I'm just terrible with them terrible.

Remembering them to relate with saying them. It's like I can remember my own name. Actually probably met Aubrey. Forget that at some point or my bad. Yeah, of course I call myself Jazz house that has it. I'm job. But yeah. Thanks for joining us guys. And how you've been having a played a big game of 40 case ignition over? In the club there, in the clubhouse. And now it's what, what time is it over there now is 10. Past 12:00 midnight, right?

Okay, so it's yeah, it's getting well, it's in the early morning late, but it's it's back to school and what 9:15 now here. So, yeah. But it's not an open E. Yeah, but you can. Thank dr. The Viking, for getting you guys on because he said Josh, you got to get these guys on and on the podcast and talk to these guys and I said, okay I'll reach out to rigid and Jason and see what if they if they could, if we can align the stars and, and get our times and all that kind of thing, sorted out.

So please thank the doctor for making this happen, right? I'm not going to do the Doctor Who Joe he goes by all these kind of different. Different aliases of names, online doctor. He's one of your biggest fans. Name is one of your biggest fans so see you do different names online and Doctor the Vikings, probably the one that people recognize the most cause he does the Cowabunga 40K painting challenge. It's like third season now, I think.

Yeah, I had a hairy guy with the Cowabunga image on its Facebook page, that's it. Yeah, become a friend. Yeah, right all sides. Yeah, he's bloody famous me. You know, it's famous Community. Like I can take it. You look, you're not really good at technology but you should know your fans back. Come on. Oh yeah. People's. Oh yeah. He's a he's embracing the second portion of what we came here from Rome.

So you guys do the same because you guys produce some really amazing battle courts that I think most people know about, but if they don't, then they should go and check you guys out because you saying that mate. I mean, I've watched I've watched all your second edition stuff and they've been really good. I mean, your terrain is great and I've got to say I'm going to get it in now. Your aux look amazing. Thank you very much, your baboon

aux with. Those Banners are just our manager scream second edition and there's so well painted as well. Thank you very much. For what, that six or seven months, or something like that. Quite a long time. I think if it feels like 12 months, I think the last time we corresponded about something, so and he said, oh, this is really nice.

Yeah, the Goblin King. Yeah, he's a great guy, really, generous with his time and that kind of stuff with, with communicated with me. Anyway, and sent me like tons of photos of new stuff that's coming out which I cannot share that. It's very kind of him that. Yeah. Spoilers on the chat, that things are coming along the pipeline.

It's, they'll be worried excited about, but if you like, if you like the 40K Gretchen that I did for my, for my Army, through nightmare games, will there be a slew of new designs coming out for that? Wow, which I saw this morning, which look really cool and some goblins for Fantasy battle and that kind of thing, as well. So he's already very cool. And that's really good. He's doing so much stuff going to count. You get Nightmare games because

not many games. Basically the main company that sort of commissioning him to do a whole stack of designs for 40K and fantasy. Wow, that's really good, though. That means more money. My workspace one of work, but there is kickstarter's come out through the year that what least to a year maybe. Any of his stuff exclusively basically. So if you look on Facebook at space, Raiders is Right space. Breeders. I'll put links in the show notes guys that you can go online and

check out nightmare games. It's a Spanish company. That Diego made a mine runs. And yeah, I've been, you know, I've been sort of, you know, promoting his stuff is amazing when we were growing up. Are you concerned about Adams was the Golden Oak guy? And his models were amazing. I really, really tough that he's still going Jim and he still got

it all. He's like what he must be in his 60s now I think yeah I think he's getting close to retirement because he's doing a lot of Renovations on his home and I think he's getting to the stage where you know he's probably going to finish up in a few years or something like that but you know, grab grab the designs while you walk hips. Still out doing work because I think at some point is something that could ease. Yeah. It's provide enough money or whatever.

He can comfortably retire or something so good on if we were lucky enough. J's company years ago won an event to go to war hammer World. Hi. And I mean I it was great, we walk around the corner and I met Jazz Goodwin farther. The Eldar and I was talking to told him, I still use the original Elder Walker model, He

was well chuffed with that. And I said, I'll better go now because obviously I don't want to take it for you Tony just tell her, I said well no one else wanted to talk to me, how we we talk for a minute. So excited. By the fact that I was still those brief anybody? Oh yeah, amazingly friendly guy. Yeah, really stoked of man. Let's have a good time, yeah. That's all right. But guys tell us about yourselves. Like how did you guys get into wargaming in the Hobby and that

kind of thing initially? What we like to read your list. Yeah. So maybe Jason was like to start Jason with how you hey you got a job. I'm going to create my cup of tea. We went round to me a friend's house and his older brother had

dungeon dragons models. And we've basically saw those, it was like, oh, of course, when his older brother went out, we would radius stash of models, and then make up our own game then, as I got older, we just went and bought the Will Hammer fantasy, roleplay book quality at every single race in it. Then we base A build-up armies and then got the Warhammer fantasy Army box sets and is that start off with drawers and

fantasy. Then then, 4ek came out, I started dabbling in with bits of pieces of that and it just built on and on and on until basic. Now, I'll just look so many models. I don't know what to do with well do, but I got paint ball yet. Yes. Well for starters, that eight eight or nine basic around with friends house and he's up to his older brother. We just move Nick in those in playing with them while he wasn't there because you're going to give us a white cloud else.

But yeah, that's fair but it really I mean then I went Games Workshop and every Thursday night when he's a gamer night, Max more people in there. That's how I met Rich. That was quite a few years ago. Wow. Just go. Yeah, let's go. Yeah. So we had two tree, four years ago we played ever since really. Yeah oh yeah yeah but I was that's pretty much it. Well think we've got nearly every Army Under the Sun apart from since hell. Yeah. That's how I got started.

Like the role play Edition, you're talking about, but first edition then you've got into like Third Edition whammer and Rogue Trader. Typically the Rogue Traders much. I paid the second dish in 4k but the Warhammer fantasy roleplay de basically, a big old butt was for hand Warhammer fantasy roleplay.

And then from there they went be used as like as kids just been caught more and more models and they bought out the battle version for it. You know, when you've the big armies and I started with dwarfs and decide who would nose up slowly slowly, I think that makes Ed Wood elves. And that and I don't know what is called, earliest, fancy battle was on the box. Sets was plastic elves and plastic goblins I think, oh, that was or is it 4th edition?

Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Which basically with that and just everything from then on it was just every time they bought a new book out or boxset kind of got it then, got the original Space Marine. I would like to say both sides idea when was Titanic S. I didn't get that one, but I got this Space Marine the Epic I know that was quite popular game. We are playing that. Yeah, it's just got more and bigger and bigger and more and more, to be honest.

And say, nearly every book set of game, they came out, end up, getting it just to get more money. But yeah, it was some It was a long time ago, so don't remember much, it's chill. So many editions of then and now is it's a bit blurry, especially the fantasy but Then when I just think I'll call you do fantasy build your community. Yeah. Yeah. What's your fantasy? Yeah. But what was the last Edition before? When the age is Sigma 1 Edition was on 8th Edition.

I was like, yeah. Wow, which will not speak about on this podcast. Okay. Yeah. I actually played a couple of games of a tradition and it just wasn't my like I came back into fancy playing, it's a tradition after a long Hiatus out of the, like the Games Workshop gaming thing and it came back into with a tactician thinking, I'll be cool to get back into fantasy again after all these years and it just wasn't my addition and I don't know why I stopped playing all the hero Hammer editions.

I you know I could have just went back and played fifth edition of found somebody to do it with me but it didn't. Took a lot longer after that, until I came back to it. But yeah, I think a tradition was a last one. Then they brought out, then they blew up the old world. And then they, they had a fanbase creation of 9th stage, which is still kicking around, and then a jazz singer. Came along. Do you guys play a jazz singer at all? No, no.

So I know the night they age. That's just farm-based that. Yeah, that's fan basement yet. That's kind of like the use of the ITC International Tournament committee or whatever it is. They're basically the some kind of, you know, I think the guys who are like to play the who like to play Fantasy competitively design, their own sort of rules based on, you know, making the list of more balanced and all that kind of

stuff. I've never played it up to seeing this black and white you know, 900 pay. Each Manifesto brought to our games on one day and I thought there's no way I'm playing there. God no, no, well, no, sorry, yeah, it's not my cup of tea. But yeah, like it's pretty popular with people who like to play that kind of style of fantasy. But, yeah, there you go. But Richard here that you might

actually get started. Well, I suppose there's a very similar story to Jason in it. Well, I, I've always paid for Toy Soldiers ever since with little Ted, my remembering that and very small, vinyl fold up Battlefield with plastic toy soldiers and Our out trees. Not source does not, pay the death over Christmas and then I think, like, JT I went down the Dungeons and Dragons, route joined a group of school, paid Dungeons and Dragons ends up. Becoming a dungeon master.

I'm one of my school report said, if Richard concentrate more on his schoolwork, them Dungeons & Dragons, he do a lot better. And as you can tell mother was not pleased. So I got, I got planned for plaintiffs, drag it from India whole term. Oh, And then I cast my own models from Prince August and that was great. 25 million molten lead. Always always good to do that. So we used to make massive armies, didn't never pay get them, mounted them on cardboard

paid was it this second edition? I think a little box set for 10 fantasy battle you had freed it real book. Tune it? Yeah. And the magnificence fan or something. Did you ever play that one? It was like we want to. Seven characters, man. That knows those click it and I was it tear the Lich King or something. Remember, it was a terrible night's King. Also, we wanted so badly to master or leech, that's it.

And then, from there, we went into Third Edition Fancy with the hardback books, with the level 5 10, 15 Heroes, it around with forth. But at the same time for fancy come out, Rogue that time we had been playing Rogue Trader as well and then I think I'll get me tie lines mixed up. And then second edition paid a lot of second position. Oddly enough never did even know Jace never paid second edition with Jade. It was meant to Games Workshop.

Apply Third Edition from dish, was in the queue, we just end up got chain. Then we ended up meeting at the gaming clubs aren't enough. People would always end up watching our games for some bizarre reason. So maybe that's portent. That's because of Two tank of gas. Oh, don't get back to tank up against the wall. So I couldn't attack the rear of it so I couldn't win the game. When we genestealers And everybody was laughing. I wasn't obviously.

And then Francine went out the window with never played it since and just carried on with every edition of 40K after that. Yeah, you get above but the dancing with a group of friends, who are you waving that years ago? If you had an army that was your army, you didn't spread into other armies, you couldn't like a case, had a Like, An Imperial Guard Army. Then none of us will collect it. So we all are For NAMI. So we will never say mom.

He's fighting off against each other but and then Jason I started the channel and it's really exciting to be able to think what I can do different armies now. Yeah. So worse was slowly building a chaos Army. I've got some models, I got to go for a chaos. I mean Imperial Guard Army. A Space Marine Army. I'm going to slowly add read it. Going to do a full-on harlequin Army, but I think the paint skills are never going to be able to skip the match for that.

But yeah, Harlequin Army of it's going to come at one point. Yeah. So that's really it done down the faculty route into the Sci-Fi rig. I mean I think you probably played it. So Jim do those fighting fantasy books to your own adventure. Yeah, some of them. Yeah, we good. Yeah. So, yeah, it's very fancy orientated until we went into the Sci-Fi. Let's read it in a sense. The exceed ever played golf

more, cruel militia. No, no, no, I didn't really see the appeal of them could have been going for then you have space. Oh, yeah sure. They kept bringing out the expansion pack for the deaf ring and the close of jeans to the cult. Whatever. But were in there. All right, because that's one of the good things about your channel is that it's very, I like the style and format that you guys present in your videos, but it's has that sort of beginning of the before we even get to the game.

It's like, you guys are sitting down just chatting about naturally about, you know, that the list you brought and why you brought them, what mission you playing and that kind of thing and then you have like a pose. That'll kind of chat as well, but it's always nice to hear those spontaneous moments during the battle, when something happens and you guys are laughing. And just having fun and just enjoying, you know, just doing a naturally.

It's not kind of like it's not rehearsed or anything like that. All very spontaneous and fun so that's one of the don't even go over there tonight, right? Because we just finished our special report. I know I mentioned to you on when we did. No messenger. The get those free sex is for his armor penetration on my, on my democracy tank and he wrote three sixes posture straight for the weapon. I could not believe it.

I mean, that was spontaneous because even though I thought that's per tank on were both laughing Oriental. Yeah. You might watch a game for a little bit and then move on. You're kind of, in a sense, looking over our shoulders, just watching the game because whether we were filming or not, this is how we would be, yes, exactly. Yeah. Is exactly how it would play out. We don't there's no answer graceless it. I suppose in a sense portal bent of us deserves.

Yeah, goofing around two blokes goofing around and you have them watch it. It's a window into the way we gain you later to make it a commissioner. We just break up as you go along. Hannah. Yeah, simple. But it's also good that you guys have been gaming for such a long time. You guys are stuck together since for such a long time. Like since you guys met at the Games Workshop store and you still gaining, which is awesome,

it's a great story. If it is because someone posted on the outer forearm, they're doing a games workshop's doing and I've been kind of thing and Scatter Lakes is are now six shots standard. Well they used to be in second edition so it's been 23 years back to six shots on a scout leader. Punto. Yeah. Whose place in the keep going. The same, always full of human mind human sky. Like this here. Can Cobble went down to 12 inches or still space part so well, that one laughs.

Oh, no, don't hold a grudge, but it's been 24 years and we got this basic weapon going till the day. I die. All those right unique is that we get. We get our fate for free. All right. You guys are still actively in the community. Like you actually, you guys have actually playing the. Is it the ninth Edition? I don't really follow a lot of the modern stuff in a at night that now, we do not know and I got to be honest with you. Both struggling with it at the moment.

Yes. Lost it it's yeah if it wasn't for the it comes to something. And Jason I've told about this quite a lot is Used to be, you'd be so excited that a codex is coming out. And we're still waiting for my order, my needs chaos demons, and the guy. And it's like, we're getting all these teachers with the Elder and generally, I'm like, whatever. I can't even get excited over it. It 9th is really for us, kind of Killed the major enjoyment that we used to have only enough 84 things more fun.

Yeah, we don't hate you at all these random cards up for. Oh yeah, the most important. Yeah, just great. And the objectives could be pasted randomly anywhere where with night is so this time and time again, it's set up for tournaments, which is fine if you run in the tournament, but that's what we ended up trying to pay a lot of the Crusade games because it was a lot more straightforward. You didn't have to do a lot of admin. Boy, calculating your victory points because when Watch

tomorrow battle reports. You can see we can add up when we're doing the weapon skill. Dose for the second. A bit difficult. Yeah. Respects too much Avenue. It is a little bit of and it's too much pregnant but like say if you're running the tournament it's amazing because it just helps you set everything up. So, I get that, but and the matter, I think Bruins games is one minute. All our enjoys seeing this portal. Only a couple somewhere.

Someone else at the line is using about five or six of these units, because they're really good in competitions. And then the it all filters through the constant updates. And that, obviously, you can see, we're not good on technology trying to keep up with everything. It just kills your brain. Yes, we went to Power 8 and it's like, yeah, yeah, we do is get all the toys all the time. Don't have to worry, don't get up. When the points why you changed on the ray floor because of guns

better or something like that? Well, I got they're not paying for any way our rain job done, which is totally unbalanced. Anyway, especially when you get one of your death, God come back, ridiculous man. Yeah I just kind of lost. Yeah. It's I'm humping it on kind of hope when the code it tomorrow. It might kick it up the backside, but then I would like coding and stuff like that. So let's see what happens when the other one.

And the Net 10 chaos, one. The second seems to be more fun more more, I mean that some parts but it's a lot of fun. It's a lot more character. Thank you. Yeah, definitely. Well maybe we'll kind of hoping at one point something blew up in a open. The turret which spin off into the distance and land on my command school but never have no sorry about that. How could it be? But what was it?

That brought you back? As you know, you guys probably falling through all the different editions of 40K and that kind of thing. And Playing them to your heart's content and collecting all the models and that kind of stuff. What were actually brought you back to playing second edition? You want to do that, or should I? I just went along because I'm too lazy to think that I'm a big bully animated. Do it. Yeah. I don't like night for paying second, which is pretty much it, right?

The first has to be enjoyed. Why'd you stop playing that? Because we always think we should progress. I got nice models out there. Wanting the models are me, but we always think you should progress through that through the additions. Your we always hope that each division will be an improvement on the last one. Isis, really hard to get your head around because all the sun especially like with all my corner, fix that. What do you mean? They wound on a three?

That's ridiculous. But then they're only getting wounded on a three choke on a balanced out with certain weapons. But yeah, we just know it was like we started doing the channel and what I noticed was we were hardly getting any hits on our night vision. Better of course but then there's so many out there doing anyway it's not be surprised. Yeah um we're just started but I said the J. So I started getting him as because of old age, I started getting quite nostalgic over the

second edition stuff. Mmm and I joined a second edition page on Facebook, join us. Well yeah. And oh my God, these are amazing. Remember this game I said the Jace Jace. Don't be funny. Just ask you doing second edition because there's no one out there doing at the time, but I could find second edition

Battle reports. They said, oh, we can give it a go. So we got lucky through eBay and Facebook Market, I ended up. This book was stolen three, basic rule books, the rule books, the weapons, and the Be stress-free over the Chinese Imperial Palace. Yeah, yeah. Well,

boxset cheap as chips. We're missing a couple of things like the destructor steam of Correction template, but we've just so heavy claim, a template for that, but it just suddenly snowboard and we suddenly had Because we've been gaming for so long and we hadn't done second edition away from each other didn't know each other existence.

I'm sure we had a load of second edition models but never seen like Dale's because yeah, it's like the first time range like well what's the point of taking those in night? They're just gonna get trashed. Now, with a whole new reason to stop hating new old models up and as you see models would never see that the table because Jason's show for shame is massive. It's not yeah, it's bigger than mine. You got a garage and it's full of unpainted stuff, but just in fact we both said, oh my God.

I'm actually excited to dig out my second edition stuff. Like Jason Mora's you would never think about pain is never use a midnight is like oh my God I can paint these. Yeah I mean I've got so excited just strip down a load of my second edition Warriors from he needs to that and then repaint with the contrast paints. I was dead against contrast because it felt like cheating but Results were amazing. And that's really the Nostalgia Rush.

Is like how it is amazing, you don't need loads of models in seconds. I mean we were at about 50 moles of a marine to you like 2,000 points. So it's like yeah, Peyton an army that was quite quick' when it especially where you'd better. Yeah, it's pretty black. A little bit and you'll see it does. Oh no, not even a mention. I want to paint competition. This is a real stopped out every last. Drop out. Yeah. Seven times in played in there. Yeah, that's yeah. That's right.

Well, that's Roy's. I think it's Nostalgia but then, you know, small she's got into it and you some realize rules are like really. Oh my God, you've got to treat every even though they're a unique, you got to treat him as an individual model. That it's really a skirmish game them. Yeah, I meanyeah third changeable that become bowels. My stupid 12-inch shooting Campos. Hey DOMA. Sorry. Yeah, you know, I'd like that because I, you know, I played it with Paul here for the first

time in my 25 years. Something like that, something crazy with my talks and his, his sister's a battle. But yeah, I really enjoyed this small scale and like you say the Skirmish element sized. Yeah. Thing about second edition because there's a lot going on even though there's only a few models on the table. There's a lot of stuff happening like this lot of charts and tables and vehicle data facts cards and you Psychic phase. And, you know, there's still heaps going on.

But one thing they're very like I said, a very small scale, you know, operations kind of thing, but the mission cards and thus, the, what are they called the strategy cards, just add all that extra flavor, you know, to the game and it just, it just makes that replayability just so much more fun. See you fine, though, it's got a lot more character. I mean, you look at second edition about any other addition, as I think gross it's got a lot more character.

I mean we were just talking about the Codex. Tails is a fantastic codex, but it's got little Snippets. Like the fact that terminate can't teleport because they haven't been able to maintain the technology, but they're quite happy to use plasma guns every turn even though there's a chance of them overheating where the Imperium like to let them cool down. You know, it's little things like that. I'll come right back laughs laughs. Yeah, definitely.

Well actually reap Priestly said in a recent interview on the class dice podcast that a lot of a lot of people actually refer back to the second mission codexes for all the law and fluff and that kind of thing because they kind of lost it in Third Edition, they can like, I'm not a I'm not a big personal knowledge of the other editions because I dropped out after

second. So I don't really know much about all the other stuff but apparently they had these sort of Pamphlet sized really thin kind of books available food. Addition, they did sort of dropped all the law and fluff and they just went straight to the Army listener, kind of thing. Well, Rick said they were always referred back to the second edition ones because they had all the law had all the good stuff in there.

That sort of got lost over time and they this the sales and marketing guys that said, okay, we just want something thin and you know, we just want the gaming stuff or not the not the fluff and you know all the it's the flow Stormborn. Yeah, absolutely made it really gets strong.

The Narrative about Wilson paint like, you know, for painting wise and army building wise, you know, like starting a whole project, you know, you want the fluff, you want the background, you need the inspiration, and that kind of thing. You need the stories to really, you know, bring out that, you know, the theme or whatever it might be to your army as well. And not just the the stats, the stats don't really do much for, you know what I mean. You really want to have that Reese. We fought.

That's it. It's like if you're a marine playing now, he would see. To be collecting the Marines. Just because they've got certain rule for their chapter wearing. S your collections because you over like the color blue or you like the history of all trees, all you got the history of the Blue. Angels is nothing really in them that they make the much different path from the storylines, the background and it's Elvis. It doesn't do this that line. Just like the older couple days.

Yeah. It's like you got for craft worlds. But you never even thought making your own or didn't, but you got full craft rose and you go for a craft room, you'd like the color off and maybe the background story of it. And then it's just a name is no different way of paying the Elder. And the only thing I'm really come up if you but the Marines because your blood angels and angels are not going to pretty yeah, there's nothing major but major the spatial coordinates

was good though. Yeah. But that chain that was the hard codex. Those wolf God were nightmare. Or just over the so kind of bull Trend this year. Yeah. Cheers. Nice. Part about wants to cut a deal with Bernard Bernard Storm Shield, logo, actually type table, which is soaked almonds.

Everyone needs. I don't rate, I got across the board, Bernal storm shield and just dust pan and brush me models of tables around us. They were horrible, we see the love, the space will tell, but I hate fighting. I think the fluff and the background of the space was amazing, but I hate this, an army.

I hate to fight. If I killed since just, just just just take your Dark Angels next time me and when you play them have a word doc or changes or horrendous, they get plus one for being charged and then the next time they get past 14 still being in combat. Yes. He's got the physical sport that first night when it was the Or the bus, a bus, didn't make any sense for the upcoming, not at

all. I mean, I don't know if you saw what will I do. Like is you've got all the second edition stuff but now, 20 or 23 plus years later we've got all that new fluff. I mean there is no way when second edition come out that I would have done like an iron craft will fiend army with loads of great guard and criminals Wait, just you never even thought about way.

But then, when third edition come out, you had waged informed that you always because I craft will codex that little Panther the combined with other for Minecraft world. And the way you use more, whatever was great. But again back then you never done that. I always filled it in a range of force. Which was great with that range of Destruction table. But then 23 years later, talk and Jason. Hang on a minute. I've got a lot of race, got it home. I'm never going to use them.

Strip them contrast to them, or got annoyed and crafts for Ravi. That's a she could crazy the payment. Yeah, so we've been thinking about because of all the models we got stripping them and in doing like still second edition but using the fluff of maybe third You formulate an army like because II one thing I've always wanted to do is a like a scouting out or Armijo. So a lot of ranges I mean got like 60 of them but you never feel about in an army.

So we're looking at 1500 points from Rangers scorpions Walker's, vipers fast, moving stuff and do it as a theme thing. And we were onto enough talking about this tonight. Instead of keeping a hoarders one color because the days for us of Fielding massive, armies are gone.

Yeah. We've ever used to gaming a garage and either set up and stuff like that but now we've got to think like the sweet spot is about 1500 points and I could have with the ones I got a belt, an Army full of aspect Warriors and maybe the Avatar a range of thoughts with Scouts and wipers all workers and paint it to that. True color of the great. It's all about. Crippled Marino means I can't feel you do. Yeah, that's all you did hate. Yeah.

Yeah. That's like so they should just be Scout all Scouts and one or two squads of normal Marines for about 2,000 points, you imagine, I would infiltrate you though. Yeah. All on your pasta, two units about don't rain forever. Be the only we had super go on. Was you really should put him down with, I've got a salamander Army. I've got basically three armies of Flesh, tears. Going from Second Edition from for upwards and night vision or roughly 2,000. 3,000 points in

your collection. A lot bigger than mine. Yeah, I just got carried away. Yeah, it's just like more down and it will place you think around just doing lots of individual, proper little fiend armies for setting. So as a case of like, if I do, oh look, it's going to be our door again. But if we painted like Samhain, so, be lot of potentially variables, and painted red, jack points, and stuff like that, or it could be about tan. So I paint them green and I will of aspect Warriors.

So even though it's still only an hour Army, Construct of the army itself will be more theme towards that craft will wearing technically Second Edition. That's all the information wasn't available to us at the time so it would be nice to use what we know now to go back and create second edition armies a lot more theme. I think we will get those tips. Let me go. Yeah, honestly, no struggle. Yeah, go somewhere. It was so good. Oh my God. Once you then I've got home.

We know. Need stripping. Ion. I think I've got another four corner fixes that. Oh, really. So we were thinking Oscar, a 0 plus a hive time. I worked out. It might have to be about 2100 but just have a load of carnufex is Hive Tyrant and to keep within the rules themselves and have to have some more years

just to do the 24% brutes. And then Jason just take me over loads of vehicles and every reference to just wipe out this massive Army of God, fix it, but I wouldn't be in a muppet on a fixed Entry of optic membrane so they become like 200 points face. But yeah, for roommates 6 lb 515 Corner fixes if you are turning towards running around them funny as hell. Yeah, absolutely, yeah, yeah.

Thank you Josh. So you can give you the if I'm feeling the inspiration than that but you won't be after the Viking. I think he told me at the numbers, right? Yeah. So you got some work to do there. This is going on the niche, Facebook group called Dale Perry. And if I miss it, every turn around and said, don't you think you got enough models? I'm just going to show her the pictures of his collection of nixed. It is mental.

I mean, he's, it's just frightening here, you've got them all out one day and put them on an eight by four ball or something, and he had no space left, and they were all based the base and the mouth Corner fix of the Monstrous Creatures. Got, it's just like, that's ridiculous. That's where the garage is. Is a massive. It is proper life goals. Huge, huge amount of model one. Nick. When you get the pants you will like what would you do? You still look?

Yeah. So I mean I've always felt I had we used to play with it but I used to pay effort especially in Africa. No we did it. And we finally found a way of break beat them and he stopped playing it as in traffic. But why did is my second mid Army? I based on Spoon course parts from epic. So I'd have 150 term, abort 25, former gorgeous, 25 goggles I-25, metal dog, dogs. And of course, one of the cards but streak on a fix.

So I thought I got a free kind of fixes, so sorry, Connor fixes way, but then Uncle Maurice fancy 10 and I've got to 10. But some of them with a plastic ones are later additions, but I just something about the screaming killer model that it's just like see again. I think it's old age. It's Nostalgia is just an amazingly, great model. I love that model. We're going to put together but awesome model. I think it's one of my favorite incarnations of crying affect. Yeah.

That's creamer killer? Yep. I love it. It can give you. You talking about like recreating like epic sort of like the Army Cards into 40K and reminds me. The early games day photographs will they had people playing like the 40/40 case n additions, scaled are 20 ml Scale Models but playing Epic Space Marine, so they have like like five Marines, I'm like a square base kind of thing.

They're like giant golden sand. They like I think the armor casts, maybe armored cars did the vehicles, like all their light in the garden. The Reba tighten, all that kind of stuff, and they had like a massive on the floor. They played on the Basically, one of the game's days those which are really fun. You must not do expensive, Victorian to because I had a weapon skills. Door closes so Factor plus sign, you know, weapons pretty good as well and they had wings like fly really far.

Yeah, the X actually writing out there and that was a good addition because we're riding horses. Well, always felt like always translate building, one of them speed up, 19, vipers the 30 cap white singing about nine times in a box in the garage somewhere. Oh, it's not in the morning. You go to see. What me? Oh, we should say. This is a video, but I said I had a warlock, tightening easier way. Be two fingers up being and the right way not to be bright, but he's got to Wally.

I only had some epic spot models on the sprues. Yeah, And I like the fact that what I thought was really cool is you some of your rock formations from your 40K games and they're like, it Rock spires but suddenly when you put those that same train on your epic board is still, you massive rock. Formations that really good. Oh my God, but don't return. Are you kidding? You can at least Go to do it. But those, it's one of the greatest games, I'm sure Jason's garage.

You'll find a whole host of different armies in there. Maybe just scrounge around through there. All unpainted of course, but you can drag those out, contrast them up and you have them on the table. You know no childhood garage or just leave bread crumbs talking for me way back out or you'll never make it out of there. Maybe you'll never make another you do. When you got an internal, Go to Heaven until you paint all your models. I ain't going to be done in the next video.

The kitchen. See how much Motors work on? The Triumph logo? Doesn't know anything about it. It's amazing. How many models in that gouge are potentially mine. Please turn around as mrs. I'll keep an area for ritual with mrs. Don't find out where everything is every now and then and you tell me about this umbrageous, I just haven't opened it up yet and so there's a great It's funny that my place of work, or like we should get a lot of boxes.

When you take it along, Daft, I'll take them on one box at a time. Strong controlling, women us away. Well, yeah, but we play with the cards. They, when they put out the boring version it was the with a dice. I think they do. You do like ordered Dyson a change. The world are the third dish. That was terrible. Yeah. When you're two component of, that was Basically the same as battlefleet Gothic, we had to find your Firepower and then that tells you how many great you got this for ya?

Second edition. Epic will Space Marine of yes, of course. Yeah, that was that was good. I mean I still got the order and chaos go Rex. I think I've got the hive mind on that was great. Come on, man, that's worth a fortune that. Yeah, I really, really. Yeah. Have you got No, I don't because it's so rare to get to get a complete set. Now it's very rare because it was the last thing they released. I think before they closed up. What the hive mind Hive was,

I've mindset. If you could have come, if you have a complete set of High Point, it's very rare to hold onto that with dear life because and restore it and whatever looks almost employment you didn't lose them. What you do is you melted them down jizz because I got this Box and the chaos not getting on the really big ones. Chaos one. Yeah, yeah.

Yeah. So the blood thirst is in Space Marine. Yeah, we're great the blood versus the profile in second edition are great but the models never really done Justice compared to the bloodthirster models we got now is like those Match the profile of second edition but they don't really matter because if brothers are still vast two minutes in a night vision game mate, I really did Mortals really reflecting the profile of second edition out because they were arms sales.

Yeah, weapon skills and like 10 or whatever. Is the board I think with the bloodthirster Xander's editions. Yeah, the heroic missions here profit is just don't last very long. You see him and you're thinking, wow, I would see a bloodthirsty. The rocks at me and be like, how am I going to take out? But you see these people playing ninth Edition, though. They are, are just shoot off board with this and the thing just disappears. Unify, that's not right. Big scary monster like that.

Should take a phenomenal amount of Firepower, which take now or you don't want to get into combat because I mean, you looked at me like you say, you don't Paint Nite. We look at some of the battle reports that you watch on other channels and things like corn. If it's just scary and second, no one ball is taking them. All right.

Take that. And everybody takes now because of the way, the gamers I mean you could say it's evolved in the high winds of over and over but no one takes combat need armies. It's all Cronus. And it's all Hive Garden towards our throats and it's all shooting and I'm thinking what happened? You went, where you had an army for a needs to win again.

Yeah, that's what should be scared to be in, come up with an ID or me, but no one is a new one, no one shortage of them, they all shoot York's, not combat words. Yeah, but you could take shoot, you want? Because your average dose rule were better than someone to build skill of three. Yes, even forged ahead and he was out. Now is if you can force their, it was it was ridiculous. Honestly me he took all grimy as a shooting Army and took an Imperial Guard.

Army catch am as a closer so Army used to run it with us. No usable 10 Mana chrome mirror yeah with a demolition. Charlie's, comforted here, catch. I'm broke. You just had it the wrong way around, man. But you somehow you want. You have to think I'm cool. Yeah, yeah. Well, yeah. I'm fine. No7 vitamin C night. Yeah, but now you got the old Conan tonight. Yeah. Yeah. But that's something that's the problem. This is really weird.

We talk again. We talked about nine is we're very lucky that we've been gaming for so long and we managed to keep a lot of our second edition models. But there's some armies it you just cannot buy because they're either too expensive or you can't see them on the Internet on eBay or anything like that. And it's like demon armies in the back of the Codex cows but there's a demon Army. Me. Yeah. You try and buy a second edition demon Army. You'd have to remortgage your house.

Yeah so we will feel the demon Army. I want to feel deep moment but it's going to have to be with current models. And and that's a fine line. I think a lot of people like to be produced a logic, go down, the proper room, proper terrain, proper morals, if you can, that's fine. But it's like, which is better. All right playing The Real Models though, the proper model of the rules. I'd still rather see someone pay second edition with their current models the excuse or

something. They actually think the code is running the code. We saw me in there. Yeah. Well, can we talk then don't tanks up and use all the last edition of chaos call yourself. I've got stupid a metal because you could get, I could do my, I didn't Craftwell Army, but use the modern Rafe guard units and arm and property to do got raised cannons. Then on Rafe Lord, our a Dreadnought you wouldn't bother giving them the sword and you just give them the one heavy

weapon on her shoulder. So you could still arm your current models or the current range if its second edition. But I don't think people should do that if they want to play second edition. Just pay me what you got. Tweak, the rules a little bit. If you can't have this proper second edition models and just pay with what you got. Yeah. He's doing an all call me. We were telling God. That was calling Spencer.

Was that was horrendous. Yeah. When you look at 5:10 could have broke my hand at all because I got lucky male voice. Stop gaming. So he was quite happy to sell some of his thoughts at sort of mates rates and that's why we ended up with an orc Army. Yeah. And it was a going Canada, he's flying over to the UK and he posted on the second edition Facebook group and he's on managed to acquire some of those models as well. So I should get the next week.

He said he fly over them, push from the UK, save on postage. Right? So that's great. So, we've managed to acquire. Our mobile voice original Road Trader, jump, Piper's oil, the sculpture the twin are. You got yourself? You got tortured in? You okay, the scorcher? Yeah, so the autonomy will will get flashed out. But the biggest problem we've got now is painting is finding time to paint. We've got loads of models. No time to pay and I am the fastest painter in the world either.

Don't even go standards. But see on the tip of your tongue, but Jace is a faster paint in the me. You don't really good scorches, you got. Sorry. How many scourges you got now? Who's our God has other for its I win. The fried to a crisp so it was lovely on their day. They can be absolutely deadly. So you got two of those you can you run them on the flanks and, you know, they'll be causing all kinds of Havoc. So yeah.

Definitely, you'll be, we got, I think we're missing the front wheel of a war truck are really the last coming, on the back of it. Oh yeah. Sure. Okay. Yes. But Jay sprayed. Gordon Walker. Yeah. And then we found out. Like all come out roughly near the end of 2nd edition so the trucks he's got ya off a viable. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah so the origami we just

going to go very mobile. I've got some commanders, I mean at the game we did with the Orcs at the end of October we are Commandos but that was only the You know, half of them but the rest of each strip of repainted. So we can have a massive all-boy charge or voice charge. Got some jump Packers. Now, Commander, so half the Orcs will be across the board before, you know, it, you've got loads of spices, all the Gorka pipes, where the plastic ones, what we're second edition.

But with the all kinds of the back, what kind on the side on the side? Yeah, it's like an addition. Yeah, they second edition. Oh, wow. Oh my God, that's amazing. And also all those vehicles are actually available in plastic in second edition late, 2nd edition or mid second edition. They had had their, you know, the the What's called the attack by call The Knobs bike, or what it was called in plastic there. But the scorcher in plastic and

the wall bug in plastic. So, if the metal ones, just under table and a table price-wise, whatever you can probably find them in plastic somewhere for relatively good prices, I guess. Yeah. Yeah, I'll be interested that so not nice. They made little that's tied to paint up like with the old, the old metal ones. I mean, of course, they're classic. They're Rogue Trader.

But you know, they've, you know, during the course of time and during the molding processes and during those days, they didn't come up all that nice and crisp and you know, easy to paint. So that the plastic ones do have that benefit that it really nicely moulded and you know, they're really smooth and all the details are very clear. In the lab. We try trying to be especially with S as authentic as we can. Yeah, I notice it and I like that, I like that.

I respect that. I've got a load of Rogue Trader. What I mean I've got I'd love absolutely, love the original out or Dreadnought the Rogue Trader ones for the to our painter, for my Ivan, Cranford or proper second edition. But there's something about when that white wolf came out, He's worked with 100, and they had the three dreadnoughts, the Banshee, the war, trying the wall demon.

Yeah, they were just amazing. And I've got five of them, and three of them are still in a plastic bag, which needs to be painted, but I thought, you know, I've got to find a reason to paint them because you're trying to be authentic and the road trainers, I mean, the Rogue Trader Eldar on. Think of the ujin find an excuse to paint and we just filled in them as a 10-man unit of pirates because they look different to the crossroad outer sort of thing.

So because they're different, I can, are I cannot get away with field a pirate unit, no such finding that the depth of their work before we get there fella, second edition are not reduce or even six. That's used for shorter ones. Yeah, the last the report we've done tonight case it is. There will Forge Road. Yeah, over Yeah. But that does this thing. They how many it was 35 models on the yeah 1500 points. 35 models is crazy when you think about it. I'm still Artful game as well.

Yeah, how scary it will for the scene that so when, when will be latest battle pulled me up, do you think In about, I'll go home and go to sleep. It's all right. No work today, which will be probably early morning for you. That's cool things. Great. So you'll probably see it well for you. Maybe Monday morning. Yep, perfect. Sounds possibly, we'll look forward to that. Yeah, it is all about. I'll go.

Oh, yes. I know all I tend to do is just link all the videos together on the phone, let upload and upload it to YouTube. So, we don't really do a lot. Yeah, don't we did get a little bit crazy and treat yourself to some lights, which is a bit better. So the lighting is better. But yeah, that's that's about it is all done on my mobile and this is why we're moving to the camera. It's all mirrored.

Yeah, that's all the right. You know, t-shirts whatever's it's mirror because of Just got on a selfie. Selfie mode. Yeah, you know technology Josh. Hey guys, we have to wrap it up today.
