Previewing the Stanley Cup Final, and Chicago is embroiled in a sexual assault case
Episode description
Mary Clarke is back from vacation to rejoin Andrew Berkshire, and the Chicago Blackhawks ruin the mood with revelations of not only sexual assault by a former video coach, but the lack of an investigation and report to the police, and a reference that enabled the abused on top of it all.
The hosts then try to bring the energy back into the room as they preview the Stanley Cup Final between the Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning. The Lightning are rightfully the heavy favorites in the series, but the Canadiens are giant slayers. Can they do it all over again against their biggest challenge yet?
Finally, Andrew and Mary bid adieu to the Vegas Golden Knights and New York Islanders, two teams in essentially the same position after back-to-back conference final losses, but with highly differing philosophies.
