The humanitarian crisis in the northcentral and northwestern parts of Nigeria suffer from a lack of attention and sufficient intervention. Despite the efforts from aid organizations, displaced persons in these regions still lack access to food, clean drinking water, healthcare, and other essential services. How do local authorities address the multidimensional security crisis in these regions and create an enabling environment for humanitarian interventions?
