The long arm of the internet certainly took hold of many a panicked mammy this week with the fictitious spread of the Momo Suicide Challenge. It’s a story that prompts Sophie to revisit the curious case of a stabbing in Manchester in 2004. What seemed at first to be a random act, actually had roots in a very bizarre online mission.
