Episode description

Jeremiah had a tough childhood. He was the son of a “lot lizard”, a sex worker named Sarah who unable to provide care for Jeremiah, exposed him to drug abuse and sex work at an early age. Tragically, after her death, Jeremiah was placed in temporary housing and had little support. That was until he met Dr. Terrence Owens, a psychologist who encouraged Jeremiah to write his stories. The result was a tale of overcoming trauma, remarkable recovery and inspiration. His work quickly gained notoriety and Jeremiah became friends with Hollywood’s elite - even being selected to appear in a Vanity Fair special. As his rise to fame increased, so too did suspicion around the validity of his tales.
