In many ways, Harry Colt was the first professional golf course architect and created the profession as we know it today. Debuting with his work at Rye at a young age, he would go on to be the most prolific and arguably most influential figures in golf course design in history with over 250 courses of his own. Frank is one of the worlds leading experts on Golden Age course restoration and offers a fascinating insight into the work of Colt.
