Jason-pedestrian was hit by school bus, because its a school bus, the damage is capped at 200k...sovereign immunity

-sometimes your policy limits have to exceed normal levels..know your situation

-if you are falsely billed...it can effect your credit...a lawyer can file suit against wrong credit report

-validation of debt must be filed or you can sue

-slip and fall...details matter...if you slip right after a previous customer spilled something, there is no claim but if 30 minutes has passed and the owner neglected to clean it up, then there is a claim

Eunice-property damage needs to be enough to cover your loss, if you hit a Mercedes it will require more than your policy can cover

-um (uninsured motorist) coverage is a must , if you are in an ax w an uninsured motorist you may be at a point where you cant recover, if you don't have um coverage

-umbrella policies cover those claims that go over your regular limits, they kick in after your policy payout is exhausted

-request credit report, check info for accuracy...after divorce a couple can alter eachothers credit w purchases and debts, make sure your info is correct 

-insurance fraud affects us all, higher premiums
