Episode description

In this episode Sarah and Kat reflect on the week long "Wake-Up" meditation retreat that Kat participated in at Plum Village in early July at the Plum Village Mindfulness Training Center in the South of France.

Plum Village is the largest international practice center in the Plum Village (Zen Buddhism) tradition, and the first monastic community founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay). The "Wake-Up" Retreat is for young (18-35yo) mindfulness practitioners.

Thich Nhat Hanh is a global spiritual leader poet and peace activist, revered around the world for his pioneering teachings on mindfulness, global ethics and peace.

We discuss in this episode the reflections that Kat had on the retreat and how to incorporate mindfulness practices into daily life as well as how mindfulness connects us closer to sustainability.
