General Information Working in collaboration with many area nonprofits and local churches, Chariots4Hope is a referral based program that began providing automobiles to needy families in 2015. Over the past 18 months, we have provided 28 low income single parents and families with reliable transportation.Chariots4Hope helps many low income single parents, families and individuals who have had their lives derailed through extraordinary circumstances. Several of these individuals are coming out of great local programs designed to help get them back on track but need transportation to remain economic and personal independence. Jason & Michelle Hurt, Founders Awards Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce 2016 Citizen of the Year Award.
