Episode description
It’s our 500th episode and what better way to celebrate than having two heroes (Tim and Tom) pay tribute to another hero, Captain Chesley Burnett “Sully” Sullenberger III, the US Airways pilot responsible for the Miracle on the Hudson 10 years ago this week after two goddamn birds tried to take everything away from him. While we have long admired Sully, neither of us had ever watched his movie despite it starring Tom Hanks, another longtime hero. Wow, four heroes in one show. We really pulled out all the stops for this one. We even had a few famous names call in to congratulate us, despite our insistence that we’re not heroes. Not compared to Sully at least. We’re probably heroes compared to a lot of other people though. Anyway, it’s our 500th episode.
