The Community Voice

Cliff Ravenscraftgspn.mykajabi.com
In 2008, Kevin Kelly wrote an article called "1000 True Fans." In it, he made a case that anyone could make a great living doing what they most loved if they could build a community of only 1,000 True Fans. A true fan being defined as a member within your community who is so passionately connected with what you do that they consume all the content your produce, attend all your events and are first in line to purchase your various products and services. At the time, I had already gone "full-time" doing what I most loved in the world with only a few hundred "true fans." I was benefiting greatly by getting to know a lot about each of these incredible human beings. It then occurred to me that others would be able to find a tremendous amount of education, encouragement and inspiration if I were to share recordings of some of the conversations that I was having with these members from the community. That was the idea that inspired "The Community Voice." I published the first 32 episodes of this show from December 2008 through March 2011. More than a Decade later, I made the decision to REVIVE this podcast and released episode 33 on August 13th, 2021. A great deal had changed in my life over the 10+ years between episode 32 and episode 33. I'm honored to share that I have well over 1,000 true fans today and I am eager to share valuable conversations with as many of them as I possibly can moving forward here in The Community Voice.
