¶ Intro
hello , ladies and gentlemen , welcome to a brand new episode of the cologne podcast .
I'm mike , I'm ryan . We're two best friends .
We're going on a fragrance journey , smelling fragrances and giving you uneducated opinions today we're going to be smelling now this is mike's words , by the way , before we got on here one of the most popular parffums de Marly fragrances on planet .
Earth . Yeah , this is a popular one , percival yeah .
I've never smelled this . Have you smelled it ? I have smelled it , I've worn it . Did I smell it when you wore it ? Maybe I remember all the times you wore like Herod and I'm just like , oh man , that smells really fucking good .
Yeah , or sometimes you're like oh , are you wearing Layton ? And I'm like no , it's Boss Bottled , absolute .
Real talk , guys . 60 bucks out there on some discounters . It's at least a try .
At this point you said it and Steve said it . I don't smell Layton in it . I don't . I can smell a little bit of the Layton vibe . To me it has more red tobacco . This isn't even an episode . We're getting off track .
Boss .
Bottle Absolute . We're not sponsored . I wish we were . No , this is Percival by Parfum DeMarley . Yes , sir , and I am Stocka . I think we've read something from him before . I know that fucking name . Yes , this is a review . He wrote about it . It's okay . He continues . Oh good , I'm glad it's not a short one .
Okay , sorry for the boring review and quotations , but that's literally the best way I can describe it . Feels more like something Abercrombie or Montblanc would put out for four times less price , but oh well , oh okay . So what do you think about that ?
it's par from the marley , but they're saying it smells very designer well , if you guys were patreon members and it sounds like you're not , from the way you're making that face right now , or you're driving oh my god , listen to this . Are you kidding me ? Right now you're not a fucking patreon member . What's wrong with you ?
Well , if you were one , you know that this last week we just released an episode for them only .
We reviewed parfums de marley's altair , yeah , that was a divisive episode . You and I were standing on opposing sides .
It got got heated it did , and we found out that that is a crazy popular fragrance .
Right , yeah , one of the more popular ones we've reviewed according to Fragrantico .
But I will say this kind of leaning into what this reviewer just said of this fragrance . One of us kind of had that same opinion about that . So I'm hoping to God this is not the same thing that we're about to run into .
We're going to find out , but first , yes , we've got to go back in time , we've got to relive the moment when we sprayed Wu Long Cha X by Nishane .
Hit the music , Todd
¶ One Night Stand Review: Wulong Cha X
yeah .
One night stand review . Well , ryan , after spending the night in turkish sheets how many start counts ?
were these bad boys like a million ?
oh god , what did you think of of wu long cha x ?
uh , it just did not have the punch that the original had in the episode . I was like , does the x mean it's xing out some of the good parts ?
right , yeah , you had a theory yeah , because they did .
The ani was like that , which is also a patreon episode that's right , yeah , uh ani x , yeah ani x , and it's like it was missing something from the original . That just made it feel , now you thought , more wearable , more digestible maybe lighter , but more feminine yeah , I just I wasn't vibing with on chai x .
It was a skip . Yeah , it wasn't for me . I don't think it's a bad fragrance . It smelled very beautiful . Yeah , I agree with that , but I do think it's for someone who's looking for more feminine , leaning fragrances . You shaking your maraca over there .
Sorry , I shouldn't have done that . Hold on , I put some what is this shit called mio like an electrolyte type yeah , it's like a hydrating one and honestly , it looks like piss after you've had like a bunch of vitamins . Yeah , like neon , toxic yellow , what the fuck ? Sorry , sorry , go ahead .
I fucked your train of thought up , didn't I ? Way to go , dude .
You said somebody that was looking for something more feminine , right , yeah , more lighter .
I'm not . I love Wu Long Cha the way it is Wouldn't change a thing . I wouldn't either ,
¶ Scent of the Day: Percival
and so it's got to be a skip for me .
Yeah , I'm agreeing okay let's get on to the scent of the day ryan percival by parfum de marley . Uh , this was actually sent in . We found out because we did an episode in the uh patreon . I know it sounds like we're pitching this , but we did and we were like , who sent us this ?
Because we get stuff sent to us all the time from lovely listeners , lovely patrons , sometimes lovely brands , every great once in a while . But we got this from a gentleman named David who is a patron , and man could not be more excited for this . He sends a bunch of stuff , bunch of Parfums de Marly . This is one of them .
Let's do it , I'll let you go first . Okay , I've had coffee , so I may be running like 100 miles an hour right now . I'm so sorry . Damn , he sprayed the fucking microphone . Hmm , oh , I don't know if that's a good arm . I mean , I think we're both gonna tell you right now . Off the rip smells really good , very nice .
Yeah , does smell very designer .
Very , very designer . Hmm , very , dare I say , maybe a little savagy , a little bit of bubble gummy , a little bit .
I was thinking like a peppery savage .
Yeah , it's definitely not bad , mm-hmm .
Hmm , what are you smelling , though ? What does it smell like ? Let's not use industry standard definitions here I'm with you .
I am not liking the skin . Why ? It's not pickle , it's not that . But what is it about a pickle ? Not just describing the pickle smell , but there's an ? It about a pickle . What is like not just describing the pickle smell , but there's like an aura about a pickle . It's like this has kind of got that , but without that pickle smell .
It's the hardest thing I can describe on the tester strip . Very there's a tang to it yeah , there's a tang to it on the skin and I'm not really a fan of that . But on the tester strip it smells very sweet , almost bubble gummy .
But I definitely have to say I hate to be this guy and sound hoity-toity , but it's got that ambroxan kind of vibe with that , with like a little bit of sweet kind of bubble gum on it . So it smells really good and it's really kind of safe I let a couple of young ladies smell this .
Okay , they lost their mind , didn't they ? They loved it .
I fucking knew it .
They absolutely loved it . I knew it . One said she was smelling it At first . She goes , this kind of reminds me of my grandpa , and I was like really . And then she smelled it and she goes man , I really like that , okay . And then she kept going . She has some granddaddy issues that you're telling me . No , I don't think so .
Okay , I think , as she smelled it more , it was like maybe that first initial was so strong , maybe she thought of that , but then she was like like she smelled a little bit more and then she's like , yeah , I really like that .
I think I know where she's going with it . Sadly , I , I guess Okay , I'm not really vibing the skin , but this tester strip could not be any more different and it smells pretty phenomenal .
It smells because we still haven't talked about it . I asked you earlier , other than you went the pickle route and I was trying to go with Tang gear . This smells very soapy . Smells clean yeah , a little powdery , definitely an old school . Clean , yeah , almost peppery .
I'm kind of getting like a little peppery vibe to it yeah , that's why I was like I could tell where she's going with that with her granddad . Yeah , now don't hear me say masculine and you're thinking this like really loud fucking musky thing . It's not Right , but it is kind of that old school like clean masculine fucking smell .
Old school , but not like vintage smelling . It does smell modern .
It does . It's like I'm actually appreciating it on this tester strip .
It's almost like a more mature version of like fierce or savage or yeah , legend . You know , people say the mont blanc thing like legend or something like that , which is basically just their version of fierce right man .
If it smells as good just from a decant , I would say full bottle would probably go fucking hard on this so how I've smelled it , wore it was .
I have from pdm like a travel atomizer of it or like 10 mil or something . Yeah , went ham on it . Uh , not really ham .
You know me three sprays now the people that smelled it could . Was it something you had to remind them ? Or like you walked by and they're like , hey , what are you ?
wearing well , specifically this case , there's a couple gals that's about my age , definitely younger than Ryan . That's why I say young ladies , that's a prick job . Yeah , I sprayed a little bit . I was wearing it , but I sprayed a little bit on my hand , and then I said what do you think ? And well received . It makes me think , though , though .
Would you ever just wear a generic designer fragrance just to smell good for you know ?
I can answer that easily yes , absolutely , when . Uh , if I wasn't broke right now , all the time , because I would , absolutely , I'm out of aquadesio .
Oh yeah , that's very designer but I feel like it's still got a little personality to it . It's not like this . You don't think this has personality ? Well , this does . I mean the things that it's trying to accomplish . You know what I mean . It's doing it better .
I agree , I mean , I still think yes , because there's just some that I'm just not afraid to go . This smells good , yeah , I mean . Yeah , I mean lunarosa carbon , I mean amazing , I cannot deny that , I still think that you've heard it guys . We say it every fucking four episodes . It feels like now , but like that fragrance seriously competes .
And pants is niche fragrances to me some , but it is , but it is a designer , it's very , very clean .
Yeah , yeah , very . People say it's like the answer to savage . For people who don't like savage , absolutely which it's not that I don't like savage I can't wear it because it will choke me out like two hours in . Yeah , I love that initial burst of it , which I think beautiful .
That carbon does it better , yeah , yeah , and that's kind of what I'm loving about . And then the dry down of carbon is way better than savage to me .
Just an opinion , guys you know I wouldn't want it per se , but out of all the fragrances we've smelled on this fucking stupid podcast , yeah , 300 and something episodes here , god knows how much on the page .
Actually , I've calculated it okay 308 episodes here , 44 episodes on the patreon as of right now . That's right , extra episodes . Look , there's a few you guys out there that have literally gone through this catalog thrice , three times . How do they do it ? And if you're looking for nearly 50 extra episodes , they're all up and they're all available .
If you're that , friends with benefit , it's free , just jump on there . 40 , some odd episodes , I don't know if it's free . I mean it's free with your subscription .
Boy , that's some corporate speak of I've ever heard .
It's six bucks a month . For God's sake , you lose that type of shit . You sit down . Heard it's six bucks a month . For god's sake , you lose that type of shit . You sit down and you lose six bucks in your couch . God , you ain't lying in this day and age .
I think we just lost some right . Yeah , it's true . Yeah , really quickly though . On that carbon , though I wouldn't want it , but of all the fragrances we have smelled I'm shocked that carbon has not had like a carbon .
Part two , carbon parfum yes , shocked , or like an intense or something like that .
Something I mean Don't get me wrong , Don't be listening to us , Prada and then be like , hey , that's a fucking good one , Cha-ching .
I'm sure they would have thought of it , because they took Ocean all the way there . Why ?
that one . The first one was I don't know , anyway , fuck . Anyway , this smells really good . Yes , it smells very designer , though .
Okay , with a little just done better .
But here's the question though what's the price compared to designer ? Really good question , and had I known that we're going this route , I would actually pull up , and I'm just going to do it really quick . Anyway , let me pull up sauvage as well .
I feel like you gotta , oh yeah , okay , so if you want a full juicy now , full juicy bottle for parfums de marley is a 4.2 ounce , that's like something like that . Yeah , you're looking at about
¶ Price and Popularity
. You did not have this ready . Well , it changed on me . You're looking at about $365 . Woo , ho , ho , ho , ho , woo . Oh , yeah , that is high . They also make a 200 ml . How many ounces is that ? Five , $510 .
No , 200 would be more Six , yeah , I was about to say , because five , I think , is $150 . Okay , so six $510 .
But 125 ml .
Things I never thought I'd learn in chemistry class . I'm never going to use this . Staring at these beakers Ounces to milliliter .
But Sauvage , you know , that's low hundreds , you know , yeah , or mid-hundreds , I would say . And then it's like you can find discounters for like 70 , 80 bucks .
Can you ? Yeah , I feel like Sauvage is typically not super discounted . Maybe people reselling , I mean .
EDT . I guess you're right . Two ounces of Dior Sauvage is like $86 . Right , the EDT , that's discounted , yeah , so that's what , 75 mil .
Yeah , here we are doing these chemistry calculations Now on the Parfums de Marly one .
you can find it for $176 , but that's also for a 2 point something ounce 2.5 . Jesus , their discount at 4.2 is $223 . And it's like to me it's too close to a designer Too close .
So when you smell it , how close are we talking God ? Designer too close , but when you smell it , how close are we talking god ? I feel like it's framed differently than if we had smelled a designer that smelled like this . I think we'd go god .
This is elevated actually I'm I think it just hit me what I really think this smells like , as far as like what you could compare it to . I know you kind of hate that , but I have to be real on that .
It's like this is if you took Lunarosa Ocean Remember the EDP had that bubble gummy type thing , it's like that and Dior Sauvage , but not that really harsh part of Sauvage , but the Ambroxian lower , whatever it's like . Those two seriously got it on in an airplane bathroom and then you got this .
That's where they got it on yeah , you know it's kind of unique but at the same time it's kind of a shitty situation . You know it's like not probably fun . Both of you have to be skinny as a fucking rail to even halfway enjoy yourself . Yeah , I can't even fit in the bathroom by myself right now ?
well , you never . You wouldn't even be on a fucking rail to even halfway enjoy yourself . Yeah , I can't even fit in the bathroom by myself right now , exactly Well you wouldn't even be on a plane , Ryan , I mean , that part's true too .
Dude , we go when we're coming out covered in blue shit , you know .
Yeah , for sure .
It's I mean it's , by the way , the popularity on this . I need to give you that , since we're pricing , trend our price and popularity 4.23 out of 5 . I can see why . Over 4 000 votes . Wow , yeah , so super high , super high release in 2018 . Uh , perfumer , you said his name earlier . I I'm not even gonna attempt it . What was his name ?
oh , maybe haman marati . Yeah , to attempt it . What was his name ? Oh , maybe .
Haman Maradi . Yeah , we'll go with that . I mean it smells good . What's been his most popular stuff ? I'm always curious . We rarely talk about the perfumer , but he made fucking Leighton . Yeah , he made Altair . He's a smart man , god . He's made pretty much every Parfums de Marly .
Yeah , god he's made pretty much every Parfums de Marly . Yeah , I want to say that our buddy , chris Fragmental , got to meet this guy . Wow , that's cool . Do some content with him . So yeah , I know that this from that content Chris said is one of his more favorite fragrances , kind of top up there God .
now I'm starting to like the skin .
What the fuck ? You kind of got to be careful , because just spraying right away a lot of fragrances right away are just like you can't spray your skin and immediately put it up to your nose .
Sorry , I'm going all in .
Damn , we got pool tonight , so we'll see how it wears out . You should actually do more , because I've got some at the house . I'll wear them . Yeah , I told you I got the travel atomizer . Oh yeah , you can spray it fresh .
I'm not going to lie Like it's pretty good All this humming and humming whatever the fucking words you say . Hemming and humming there you go . Hemming and humming , yeah it . Whatever the fucking words you say , him and Han . And there you go . Him and Han , yeah , it's like . But I'm coming around to it . I can see why this is popular .
I haven't got the pepperiness of this before when I wear it .
I think I may love this .
What the hell , dude , steve , this is your episode bud , because Steve calls you out on this shit all the time . You are a roller coaster with fragrances . I can't help it . You start off and you're like fuck this . By the end you're like it's probably a big juicy bottle worth Wow . Let me go back to my point , by the way . Yeah , go ahead .
I feel like if we bought a designer or got a decant of a designer and we were spraying it , I feel like we would look at this way different , we would smell it and talk about how much different it is than other designers . But now that we're comparing what's technically niche to designer , we're trying to pull it closer to designers .
Yeah , it's all in how you frame things . While you're saying that , you know I mean my brain's working overtime . It's like we should pick a couple of new episodes coming up . We're like here's these five episodes and we're going to just wrap something around where we can't see what the name is we have a listener that sent that .
We need to do that .
Yeah , we do , don't we ? We absolutely do . We need to do that . He sent a bunch of fragrances that are not labeled .
Yeah , we don't know what they are . They have little envelopes , like we're at an awards show , we do it and then we can look and see what it was .
And best picture goes to yeah , personal . Wow , you know , I actually like planned on talking about the notes and the pros and cons but honestly , because we've been kind of going back and forth on it's , I'm sorry this episode's kind of a little .
No , I think this speaks to how subjective fragrance is . Again , because it just depends on what angle you're looking at it from . I was listening to a podcast and Tony Robbins was on it and I've heard this study before .
I've heard other people use a study before , but he talks about they ran the study where someone will walk up to a random person and they go hey , do you mind holding this for me for a second ?
And before they can say , yes , they just hand them a coffee and they bend down to tie their shoe Right and they take a coffee and they bend down to tie their shoe right and they take the coffee . And they did a certain amount . I can't remember the number , but I'll say let's say they did 50 people , 25 this way , 25 this way .
And then afterwards they were approached . That same person who held the coffee for them was approached to read a short thing . They get 20 bucks and they need to just judge the main character , right , okay ?
And so they judge the main character of the thing and what had happened was 50% of the people had to hold an iced coffee and 50% of the people had to hold a hot coffee , and the people who held the hot coffee said the main character was warm and sincere , and the people who held the iced coffee said he was cold and calloused . And it was the same story .
Wow , but they were pre-framed by just that physical thing of touching hot coffee versus touching an iced coffee .
I mean , it's like what do you call those people that like whatever they can like , read your mind or something , but it's like they probably said certain things in the sentence to trigger certain synapses in your brain to pick elephant every time . You know , know , you think that's what's kind of happening .
David blaine's yeah , that is interesting , by the way love tony robbins . Why is he so beloved ?
because , first of all , he has a deep voice he talks like this , you know like he's for me when I listen to him . I like the whole time . I'm like dude .
He's so comforting to listen to . He's like very charismatic and excited and well , I just want to hang out with him . You think he'd be cool ?
yeah , I think so I think you just you can't interact with that many people without the truth coming out I think you're onto something with that . Yeah , that's true to that if you like , let's say you really interact with a million . Yeah , that's true to that . If you like , let's say you really interact with a million people , it's going to be split 50 50 .
Yeah , just the way the ball bounces . It should be , yeah , where it's like 50 of people are going to love you , 50 people they're going to hate you , and guess what . It has nothing to do with you .
It has everything to do with the person casting the vote right , because who knows if they held a hot coffee before you met them or they held a fucking ice coffee you know , or they're holding some toxic green chemical cold drink mixture .
I'm doing Exactly .
Is this why you're being so cold and callous ? His drink was colder at the first of the episode , so he hated it . Now it's warming up to that . Yeah , I'm loving it .
Exactly .
Who would wear this this , by the way , I would think it's like abercrombie fierce has graduated high school . Okay , gone to college , graduated college , but it's still very young , just graduated college , but got their shit together by senior year . You have to because you're getting ready to enter the workforce . That's where he's at .
That's Mr Fierce now , yeah , he's 24 and up . Okay , got a degree . Got a degree , that's right , a little more sophisticated .
Maybe he's bringing in a little bit more money than your typical intern . I think this is like an engineer type person Really . Yeah , okay , I'll go with that . I really do . I feel like this is a really smart individual . Yeah , they're kind of low-key , but they got their shit together .
They're not flashy , yeah , yeah , but they do got lots of monies coming in and it's going to keep getting bigger and bigger because you know there's software engineers , something like that .
You know , right , okay , you know you play bit life or something on your android , you become a software engineer and next thing you know you're a project engineer manager pulling seven figures a year something stupid , okay , and all you do is work remote . Yeah , I feel like this is that kind of thing .
I feel like if I worked for a company , I would not want to work remote , and I'm the opposite yeah you are . I want to be able to play marvel rivals all day and have one of those mouse movers that just makes you look busy , I'm like green screening , like previous recordings of me , to make me look like I'm in meetings and shit , oh yeah not me .
I want to like bump elbows with people . I want to work as a team . I I want to be locked arm in arm , Like really , if I'm on projects , that's what I want to do .
You are very much like that and I want to be as far from it all as possible . You'd be happy being a shut-in Dude I would . That's why God won't let me win a million dollars . Be a fucking hermit Dude .
It'd be bad for your health , man , are you going gonna skip it , sample it or buy
¶ Skip it, Sample it, or Buy it?
it ? What are you gonna do , ryan ? This is close to a buy to me really , so it's a strong sample then very , very strong samples .
If you're listening to me , guys , this is a sample . Try it with the caveat of just knowing . Go into it knowing this definitely has a designer vibe to it . Yeah , it is doing something quite interesting . I don't know really how to describe it , maybe it's . What is this ? Well blended , well balanced .
It's slightly niche elevated , but not crazy enough yeah , it's doing a lot of things , a lot of things that I feel like a designer wouldn't do to a fragrance . Yeah , that's why I'm saying , if we smell this , as a designer we'd be like Bravo , oh God , oh , bravo .
Way to take the swing . Was that a sarcastic clap , though ?
No , I'm being serious , okay , yeah yeah , yeah , I think we'd go wow , these guys , they're trying something different while still keeping it very wearable and non-challenging .
Yeah , that to the T . It's non-challenging whatsoever . There's no challenge to this Very wearable Young man and up could wear this Honestly . We should have said this . I feel like young man and up could wear this honestly because we should have said this . I feel like young man to old man could wear this and pull this off .
Yeah really and truly very safe . I think the comments about oh , this reminds me of a grandpa . It's like maybe it's more distinguished than what you'd expect out of a designer fragrance , but it doesn't make it smell old and dingy , or too mature ?
Definitely not , God . It smells really good . I can't shake that . I smell a little bit of that sweetness that Luna Rosa Ocean did that we just dog walked this episode and said was garbage . But it was garbage for some other reasons , yeah because it's like a one-note song .
This is different . There's a lot going on to it .
Yeah , I would say this too , where that was really kind of weak in how it smelled . I was almost going to say this is a little bit louder , but not too much . It's just enough to be on the cusp . You know what I mean . If they would have went a little bit more , you'd probably be going . This is going to be too loud for me , right ?
It smells really good . Yeah , who'd you say loved this ? Chris ? Chris loves this . Uh-huh , okay , he's got a good nose on him . This smells good . That's all I got . Man , I'm perplexed because there's simplicity to this . You know , I was kind of saying we were talking about music the other day .
Actually , uh-huh , and mine's got me on this hall and oats kick right now . That's right , he goes . Man , you need to really listen to , out of touch , yeah , the hollow notes .
listen to that fucking , yeah , like the synth at the beginning of it , because we had the other day we were talking about there was another song that we listened to and it was like so punchy , yeah , like man , we , we don't get this anymore , this type of production , and this is like late 80s . This song came out , yeah , so you played it and what ?
dude . It's like I was telling michael like it's so simple . The note structure , everything is simple to the layman ears . You're like very basic , but if you really listen , especially with how things were produced back , then you can really hear a lot of different instruments .
Yeah , you can hear there's a lot of layers and it's actually really intricate , but it's so intricate that it's purposely done to make it sound simple . Does that make sense , right ? yeah , things were added to increase texture , yeah , and I feel like that's what this is doing right here .
It's familiar , it's something that we kind of smell , but at the same time there's like this little something .
There's more punch to it . I can see that we were just critiquing . This guy was playing guitar and he said you can play it this way , or you can play it this way , yeah . And when he added the special little in there , you were like they're the same things , yeah , but this is way more pleasing , had way more personality , right ?
yeah , it's just , and it's just the subtlest thing you would never . It was actually a brad pay . I'm not a brad paisley fan , but you were showing me brad paisley .
Yes , to get it's a long story short here , but he has a thing on his guitar called a G-Bender . It bends the don't laugh middle schoolers a G-string . It bends the G-string . I just said don't laugh . Well , you emphasize it so much , man . So on the guitar it bends the G-string and when it does that it adds almost like a steel guitar sound to it .
And the way he incorporates it he shows you that , oh , you can actually manually bend the string with your fingers and it sounds this way . But then when he bends it with the mechanism that's built into the guitar , it sounds different , even though it's literally the same notes , sonically the exact same notes , but the way it gets there is different .
And you would be shocked . Just that little difference , how much more character that has , right , and it makes it way more distinguished , right ? Yeah , and that's what I'm saying with this . It's like part of me wants to be cynical and go oh my God , this fucking designer . Yeah , they're asking way too much money , which they are .
I'm going to have to say that . Right , I'm going to have to say that .
Right , I'm getting this on a discount .
Yeah , but it's like I've got that side of me , but the other side is like but I can't deny that this smells really fucking good yeah .
I think it would be a win . I'm a very strong sample as well . I think it's good . I've wore it a few times . I get compliments . It's just a safe wear . It's a safe blind reach . It's an expensive one , yeah , but you know , if you can swing it , it's uh very nice .
Me and mike have been uh , toying with this idea right and michael's like that's a great idea and especially because it incorporates his name , he was like it's an even better .
Yeah , wait , I can have this . Let me frame it this way we have listeners occasionally that will write in , yeah , and they will just blanket complain about the fragrance faux pas that happen at work , yeah . And so we thought should we confront these transgressors ? Oh , yeah , and let them know what's going on ?
Let the quiet voice of reason speak through the podcast . And so we did have a listener reach out . It was a friend of mine and she said this Hi , mike and Ryan , I need your help navigating a delicate situation at work . One of my co-workers is an awesome guy , but the amount of cologne he wears could clear a room faster than a fire drill .
I'd love your help figuring out how to tell him that his cologne game is a bit too bold . I don't want to hurt his feelings , but my nose and lungs would really appreciate a gentler aroma . Can you help me find a way to tell him that less is more ? And then she attached his name and his phone number and so , look , we could get the cops called on us .
