Jesus is the teacher and is looking for pupils. Why, because he wants to continue the work that our Heavenly Father sent Him to do, save people from an eternity separated from God's love and glory.

In this broken world we need power from God to life live. Jesus promised abundant life if we obeyed His teaching. Abundant life means peace with God, joy in the hope of eternal life and living a life that pleases God. That power is available!

Yes, we need to talk about blessings and curses. God has provided so many blessings through the finished work of the crucifixion of His Son, Jesus Christ. These blessings are empowered by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our life. Without these blessings, through obedience to God, we will only experience the opposite.
