EP213: The EPIC Church Experiment

Pastor, are we tired of pivoting yet? I'm sure this season has been exhausting, but as much as we have tried different things (that may or may not have worked) the important question at hand is simple: what lessons did we learn? In this COVID season, Pastor, it's easy to chalk up the past two years as a one time experiment and ignore the potential lessons along the way.

Can those lessons, though, help the pivoting? Can experimenting prevent the radical shift we've all felt in this COVID season? Let's talk with Kent Jacob, Lead Pastor at EPIC Church and Justin Dela Cruz, EPIC's Director of Campuses, where they talk about their COVID experiment. Lots of churches talked about shutting their doors in this COVID season, and encouraging Microsite development. EPIC did it, only doing physical church services once a month (other services were online/microsite).
