Episode description

Los Angeles-based restauranteur Mark Birnbaum played a major role in transforming New York City’s Meatpacking District into one of the most sought after areas in Manhattan before settling in California to operate the West Hollywood outpost of globally influenced seafood restaurant Catch (2011). Dubbed by Forbes Magazine as one of the “New Kings of New York Hospitality,” Catch Hospitality Group (Catch Restaurants, Lexington Brass) co-founder Mark Birnbaum and his partner Eugene Remm pioneered dynamic hospitality experiences by using food, service and vibe to create seamless transitions between dining, nightlife and entertainment. With a focus on culture and brand, Birnbaum has propelled Catch from a standalone NYC flagship to an international phenomenon with successful locations in L.A., Playa del Carmen and Las Vegas, with additional outposts slated for 2019. Most recently CHG welcomed a new partner, hospitality business mogul Tilman J. Fertitta, whose privately owned Landry’s, Inc. is ranked among the largest corporations in the U.S. Follow Mark here: https://www.instagram.com/markbirnbaum/ Learn more about your ad choices.
