Percy and Kane are 24th century skip tracers collecting bounties among the Jovian moons. Their ship is boarded by officers of the Black Iron Prison, a maximum security penitentiary for the Jovian system’s most ruthless convicts. The skip tracers are presented with an ultimatum: help track down an escaped prisoner on the abandoned, decaying Helix Station, or lose their licenses and find another line of work. Something happened on Helix Station decades before that Percy can’t talk about and can’t forget...but what choice do they have? And how is this job connected to the mysterious Black Iron Prison on Callisto?
