On March 23, 2019, over 200 people will dance the night away at the Penthouse at One East Ave. Guests will enjoy light appetizers, a specialty cocktail, silent auction items, raffles, and spectacular views of the city.

About Urban Choice Charter School: Urban Choice Charter School (UCCS) is an independent public school that serves 400 students in grades K-8. The mission of the UCCS is to provide City of Rochester students with a safe, supportive, and intellectually challenging educational environment. The central philosophy is that strong student-teacher relationships are essential to student motivation, engagement, and achievement. This philosophy, in combination with authentic efforts at family involvement, and the effective teaching of a rich, rigorous, and engaging curriculum, will enable students to defy the demographic destiny of poverty. UCCS serves a high concentration of students in poverty with 91% of currently enrolled eligible for free/reduced lunch. 71% students are Black, 18% are Latinx, 4% are White, 1% are Asian, and 6% identify as Other.
