things and the news and so much more. For example, Elon Moss, the Libs melting down at Twitter still because the Trust and Safety people aren't really in charge anymore. I will discuss that, plus have a little bit of a throwdown over Thanksgiving traditions and well mostly just over food.
What the best stuff to eat is? Oh? Biden extended the students loan moratorium because you know, COVID whatever, they just make it up as they go along, and some more COVID stuff actually coming your way, DC saying that school children have to get a test before they come back to school because some people just absolutely never learn. We use promo code buck. All right, my friends, let us discuss the situation over at Twitter, where the Washington Post has this big story about how Elon Musk is basically destroying the place and it's terrible and everyone's fleeing. In any minute, it's gonna shut down. I don't think anything that's true at all. He's doing a great job. He's doing a great job because you have to break this thing in order to fix it. You have to break it up. If you get rid of the parts
that are deadweight. You have to exercise some of the components of Twitter that are politicized or just expensive and do nothing. And a lot of that is going to be the commissars right for the term for people in the Soviet Union who were part of the government bureaucracy which was completely stifling and totalitarian. So the little little commissars of Twitter are running around the Trust and Safety Commissars and they're telling everybody, oh my gosh, that they're
leaking the Washington Post. Obviously he didn't even he didn't even do the reusable water bottles that our last meeting, he had Voss bottled water there. What are we gonna do? They're also upset about it. First of all, the fact that they had a Trust and Safety Board is crazy enough.
Then you got to think about how because because first of all, they're not trusted and they don't care about your safety if you're a conservative right I have tons of friends who are on the right who would get the worst kinds of death threats and horrible things out of them, but they would always say, yeah, Twitter didn't care. I told Twitter that I'm getting death threats, my family's
getting death threats. But Twitter was like, yeah, it doesn't violate our policies because you know, you're a hate full right winger, so sucks for you. That was that was really their attitude was disgusting. But even look at some of the people that Trust and Safety Board kicked off that platform. Remember Elon just bought this for over forty billion dollars. Look at the people that Trust and the
Safety Board kicked off the platform. They kicked Jordan Peterson off, and I know, people always say, oh, well, they kick off people like Alex Jones or somebody who is you know, it was legitimately a third rail for a lot of people. But if they kicked Jordan Peterson off, it's like it's like, no, like, don't kick him off. Where does he fall in the dominance hierarchy on Twitter? You know? Like no, you know,
Jordan Peterson got kicked off for what reason? Exactly? Wow, because he said he used the name of somebody that's their former name that was considered dead naming because they're trans. Yeah, they kicked him off Twitter for that. The Babylon be said that Rachel Levine was their Man of the Year, and guess what, Rachel Levine is a man. So this goes to also the the NHL had a tweet that they put out just yesterday. The National Hockey League had a tweet in which they said, I'm trying to pull
up here really quickly the following wait where did it go? Oh? Here you go? Trans women or women, transmitter men, non non binary identity is real and I mean this, I just have to point out if trans women were women, they wouldn't call them trans women, right, there would be no need for the designation because it would just be
all the same. So what's the point. Why is the NHL saying this, Well, you know, wokeness, my friends, Wokeness is a mind virus, and it has to it has to consume logic, reason, rationality, distort history, and have absolutism as its goal. That is what wokeness requires. That is what wokeness demands of all of its adherents. It really is like a religion, but it's a cult. Like religion, there's no free thought allowed within it. So yeah, that is what is going on. That is what's going on there.
But anyway, they kicked off they kicked off Jordan Peterson, they kicked off the Babylon be They've they kicked off Donald Trump, who's now allowed to come back, but really come back. We'll see. All this is just showing us the internal nonsense, the way that the polite borrow of the Democrats operates inside a major, multi billion dollar company. We're seeing this, you're seeing this through the lens of
Elon's takeover of Twitter. It's fascinating because they really think they're so clearly the bad guys, and they really have convinced themselves they're the good guys in all of this, they just decide. I mean, the way the Washington Post was writing about some of this stuff, I gotta tell you here, the funny thing is Musk's free speech which they put in quotes because you know, scare quotes. Musk's
free speech agenda dismantled safety work at Twitter. Insiders say, safety work are people like using are they using you know, buzz saws there and losing their fingers? Like what what do they mean by safety work? Let's think about this for a second. Oh, you mean emotional safety. Like people said really mad mean things about the twenty twenty election, and it's like destroying our democracy and that our recycle.
You know, you're seeing this right, you're seeing this understanding of the Libs are emotionally fragile, which is why they have to they have to be able to dictate discourse or else it all starts to fall apart. It doesn't really hold together for them at all. But some of the stuff. The way they describe this is fascinating, they say, I'm trying to find that they're the way that they describe how it's really well thought of, really well considered.
Here you go, this is a quote from the Washington Post piece, the Trust and Safety Team lies at the heart of this battle. Known for examining every question from every angle before taking action, the team is responsible from any of the polarizing decisions that have prompted the right to cry censorship. To cry censorship, it is censorship. They're
crying censorship. It is censorship. When you say that you can't say that men or men and women or women is not the same when you say that you can't say Rachel Levine is the man of the year, you are censoring. Is this is black and white? This is definitional. They are censoring. When you're kicking a former president off your platform, you are censoring. And they here you go.
Interviews US. More than a dozen current and former employees and people close to mister Musk, who spoke in the condition of anonymity, tell the Washington Post the clash of cultures as Musk and as allies have fired or alienated Trust and Safety Team leaders and reverse their decisions, which is fantastic, by the way, it's absolutely great. In an OpEd on Friday, Rath acknowledge the odd system. Oh, I'm sorry, the old system. It is odd. Actually of content moderation
and know it when I see it may launge. Reflecting the values of advertisers, Apple and Google app store managers and big tech executives can have a dismaying lack of legitimacy. You don't say, you mean the commissars get to decide behind closed doors what's going to happen on this platform, not explain it to anybody, not tell them in the
first place what's happening, and that creates a lack of legitimacy. M. Yeah, this is what we're up against, friends, and this is why they're so freaked out about the whole Twitter situation. As you know, you know, there's a big runoff that's going to happen here in just a little over a week or so or two weeks in Georgia. Trying to do the math in my head between Raphael Warnock and
Herschel Walker. It's important who gets this Senate seat. It's going to be one hundred million dollars plus spend in just media on this issue to try to convince people to go one way or the other. And there's something something I saw about Reverend Warnock that I found very interesting because for a moment I was like, oh wow, I agree with him on this thing, this decision, this choice, and then I found out that it's not really the
choice that he made. I'll explain in a second. Cyber criminals there something we all have to worry about because you're putting all your information online, You're buying things, putting credit card information, personal data, all of that online and what they do is they get your personally identifiable information, your PII so security number or driver's license, bank account,
all that stuff. That kind of information is there for cyber thieves to take off the dark web, right, and then they used to take out loans in your name. It's important to understand how cybercrime and identities after affecting our lives, they take out credit cards, loans, they steal your identity, run up bills, and then try to leave you with them. That's why you need LifeLock. LifeLock by Norton detect and alerts you to potential identity threats you may not spot on your own, like loans take it
out in your name that you didn't know about. If you do become a victim of identity theft, a US based restoration specialist will work to fix it. And there was an ad that I saw. There's a lot of ads. There's a lot of ads going on here. Hold on a second, let me see it, make sure because PolitiFact, which is usually full of crap, is let me see if this is true. It looks like it looks like it is true. Okay,
just making sure. So Raphael Warnock took a a beagle for a walk in an ad. Now, look that's fine. I love dogs, and I think beagle. I'm just gonna say it, a little yappy A little beagles can be a little bit They can bark a little too much for my taste, but they are adorable. They're great little companions, lovely little dogs. I like beagles, I am. I'm generally pro beagle if you have an outdoors for them. They're not great in apartments because they do bark a lot.
They're known to be. Yeah, they make a lot of noise. But it was a good ad because it showed Raphael Warnock walking this adorable dog. Okay, it's a cute dog. And I see the I see the ad and I go all, he's got a cute dog. You know. Look aoc has a French bulldog. She's wrong about everything except for her dog, apparently, because it is really cute and that's a good choice. So the ad in some sense worked on me a little bit because like, o oh, look, he's got a cute dog, not his dog. Even PolitiFact
has to admit this. He borrowed a dog for an ad. Why would you do that unless you're trying to convince people, Oh yeah, like I'm super nice and you know, likable like everybody else with my dog. I just think that's a weird move, Like you don't have to have a dog, that's fine, but why have a political ad where you're clearly trying to show yourself walking a dog that everyone's gonna assumes your dog when it's not. I will say,
you know, people, I've read articles about this. I've heard about this too, Like when women see a guy in a dating profile with a dog and it's not actually his dog, they don't like that. They're like, why are you Why are you trying to do the bait and switch with the dog, And I think that's fair. I think for politicians the same rule can apply here. What are you taking a beagle for a walk in this video when you don't even have a dog, right, Like,
what's that all? It's not your dog? You don't even he doesn't have a dog, period, Just saying bringing you the facts. It's it's a it was a weird it was a weird move. I'm just telling you it's a weird move. But for a second there, I was like, oh wow, I haven't seen a lot of beagles lately. I feel like it was a really popular breed in the eighties, maybe in the nineties as I was growing up, but you don't see as many beagles. You also used to see a lot of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels everywhere
at least in the Northeast. That was really pott. I love those dogs. They're super sweet, they're great. You just don't see as many of them these days anyway. Ah So now it's pretty much Thanksgiving time everybody. So I'm just gonna tell you right now that my advice for the Thanksgiving feast is to pace yourself. Think about how you're probably gonna have to go in for not only seconds,
but you're gonna have leftovers as well. And so then another thing I've learned is don't fill up on the There's a lot of people, there's a lot of acoutrement out there, so they'll be you know, cheese and crackers and pretzels and you know, all this sort of stuff. Some people serve salad. I think before they're thinking, no, no, no, no, you really want to get right to the b show. In my opinion, in my opinion, I'm just one man's opinion,
you want to get to the big show. You want to get right to that turkey, that sweet potato, mashed potato stuffing, gravy, maybe some green beans, green bean castrole if you're into that, whatever it may be. You want to really save up for the big show. You know what I mean, you want to have the space in the belly because you're probably gonna go two rounds and uh and so I'm just that's my only tip for this.
And then also, you know the gravy. I will say, I've always found that stuffing which is like breadcrumbs essentially or bread. I don't know what your bread shavings and what you call it clumps of bread, gravy and turkey juice together in the stuffing game. Changer. Have a great Thanksgiving everybody. I'll be talking to you on Friday. We'll do a Black Friday show on the radio for sure, and tune in. I'll be solo on that one. Clay has taken a day off. I'll see you Friday. Shield tie
