Episode description

Biden keeps mumbling nonsense about “creating 8 million jobs” (which no sane person believes) and now his White House is pretending we are in a “good position” to tackle inflation, which is like an arsonist telling you about how to put out the fire they started. Plus progressive prosecutor Larry Krasner is facing a recall effort, as the people of Philadelphia realize he is a lunatic putting their lives at risk. And finally, the baby formula shortage can be traced back to 2020 when the FDA failed to do basic safety checks of baby formula facilities because of lockdowns.

You're listening to the Buck Sexton Show podcast, make sure you subscribe to the podcast on the iHeart Radio app or wherever you get your podcasts. Team. Welcome to the Freedom Hot Tuesday, June fourteenth edition of the program. We have the all hands on deck to prop up the Biden regime phenomenon going on right now. Wholesale prices up considerably in the last month, which means that your consumer prices, because it usually lags, are going to go up even more.

Everything getting more expensive, inflation impossible to ignore right now and can they actually take it? We'll get into that, plus trying to impeach District Attorney Krasner in Philadelphia, the Progressive prosecutors maybe finally getting their come upance for their lunatic ideas and the destruction of cities that has resulted from them. And then the FDA asleep at the wheel, are actually just working remote so to speak, and therefore not working at all when it came to the inspection

of baby formula facilities during the pandemic. Oh, yet another thing that the shutdown is responsible for that is terrible. We will discuss all of this, my friends, coming up here in just a second. You know what you're finding out these days, crypto. A lot of these get rich quick schemes out there can be really volatile, really dangerous for your money. What about a house? What about real estate investment in a community that is growing, that is stable,

people want to live there. Yeah, you want to build for the long term real estate investing. My friends and I speak from personal experience with Done for your real Estate. I've bought multiple houses through Done for your real Estate now and they just know their stuff backwards and forwards. They're so helpful. I've learned so much. Here's how it works. You get in touch with them and then you get on a zoom call. You figure out what's do I think or area I should say do I want to

invest in? Usually it's a suburb of a fast growing area in a red state. And then you figure out, okay, well what house do I want to buy? They put you in touch with a broker. The broker shows you different houses than you that you get set up with the mortgage broker for the loan for the house. You buy the house. They get a management company to get a tenant in place. You start getting the free cash

flow every month. It's this very straightforward system. It's for the long haul, the long term, building financial security for you, building retirement funds for you. Good are done for you, Buck dot com. To see how this works again, I'm in process now, or rather I have been in process on three houses already done for you, Buck dot Com. Done for you, Buck dot Com. Go check it out today,

become a real estate investor. So the Biden presidency is having a rough one because the inflation reality is that what you have seen is just the tip of the iceberg. It's gonna get worse. That's really the mantra of the Biden regime. You think it's bad, now it's gonna get worse. Here is Steve Leiseman on CNBC saying that the price increases, you think that are bad, Now, just wait, you're doing ten percent a year over year plus or almost eleven percent.

We still have a big problem up the pipeline that's

going to filter down. And then the question obviously becomes how much that can be passed along to consumers and whether or not we're at some form of a breaking point of consumers rejecting these higher prices and businesses aren't able to pass them along, and that would hit profits, so that would hit profits, which would also hit hiring, which would also hit the stock market, which, folks, we basically have two choices at this point, inflation continuing to

just go up or recession. They're not really saying that they're expecting a FED rays of point seven five, which is the most that they've raised it in like thirty years, basically, So that's what's some say point five or it might be point seven five that's coming up tomorrow because the feed is tightening, interest rates going up. You know what's happening here, folks. We are paying for the pain, or rather paying with pain for what we enjoyed before. We're

paying with pain. There you go. Economically speaking, we thought we could tell everybody stay home, just get your check, just sit at home. Does everyone realize how crazy that is now? I mean, the left really started to believe the socialist, redistributionist modern monetary theory lunacy. Let's just pay everybody to stay home. See how that goes. Let's just spend trillions and trillions of dollars to inject that into the economy. No productivity underneath. Forget about the fact we're

in a global market place. Let's just do that. See how that goes for us. Some of us were warning, this is a terrible idea. Shut up, you want Grandma to die? That's what they said. Okay, Well, just to borrow from their horrific moral blackmail for a second. It didn't stop COVID at all, as we know, or to look at I should say, they're horrific moral blackmail. It didn't stop COVID at all, So what was the point

of it. Apparently everybody wanted Grandma quote unquote to die because they didn't stop a damn thing with their idiotic policies. And now you've just got a lot of people. You're just beginning to see it. You're gonna see bankruptcies increase. You're going to see if we go into a recession, which some people are saying it might not happen until next year. This could take a while to work its way out. But you're gonna see bankruptcies increase. You're gonna

see businesses going out of business. You're going to see depression, alcohol suicide, alcohol abuse, suicide, all of that go up. It's gonna get rough out there because there's no such thing as a free lunch, and libs convince themselves there is there's a free lunch. Sure now you see reality, friends, we have to look at reality. By the way, just back in twenty twenty two, to remind everybody of this, because now they're saying, oh, Biden's got nothing to do

with the stock market. Biden can't do anything about inflation. When we were at the end of the mania of the stock market getting pushed up, up and up, largely by all the cash sloshing around. Here's what Biden was saying in January, six months ago this year. And by the way, the stock market, the last guy's measure of everything, it's about twenty percent higher than it was when my predecessor was there. It has hit record after record after

record on my watch. About that you've actually now lost money. For the entirety of your four oh one K is worth less now eighteen months in than it was when Biden took office. Yeah, and in a lot of stock tech stocks and others. You got crushed if you're investing in individual stocks for your four own k or just for your portfolio. So it's gonna get worse. I hate to be the voice of gloom and doom on this one.

We're gonna be okay, we'll recover. Part of that recovery is going to be kicking all the lunatic, irrational Democrats out of office wherever possible. It's not possible everywhere, because people in San Francisco, people in New York, people in Chicago, they like this dysfunction at some level because it doesn't really affect them. So they just say, oh, too bad,

the bad economy. But you know, I still can feel good about myself voting for Biden over Trump, right, I still feel good about myself because you know, no more mean tweets. They don't really The wealthy, the elites that vote Democrat in all these places, they don't care. They've got so much money. They figure they'll just ride this thing out, and they'll give a lot of lip service to oh, we have to do more to help the poor, we have to do more to help the work in class.

They don't care about the poor or the working class. Just want their votes. That's why they play all the identity politics games and they create this this political balkanization, if you will, of different. You know, all we're all in these different political tribes fighting each other all the time, instead of understanding what has been done here is monstrously destructive to the economy, and it was pushed by Democrats.

And I'm just gonna say this. I mean, I opposed the lockdowns when Trump did them, but that was at least before we knew what the true reality of the virus was and what we were facing in a way that was irrefutable. But he went with what the experts said. The experts were all libs, because the only people that go work at places like the CDC apparently are irrational libs who happen to have an MD or happen to have a PhD. Doesn't mean they have good judgment, doesn't

mean their fair minded at all. But none of this should have happened. None of this should have been done, and we are now seeing what ends up being the situation. By the way, here's it's fun to watch the Democrats try to explain how this isn't actually really that bad of a situation. The new White House Press Secretary is, let's be really charitable, still adjusting to the new position. There we go, and I'm feeling nice today. So here she is trying to tell everybody that no, no, while

we're in a terrible period of inflation. That's making it harder and harder for everyday folks to actually pay their bills, to just pay their bills for gas, for food, for rent. While that's going on, It's not that the two trillion dollars of spending the Democrats just let loose like it was no big deal, you know, just let it rip. It's not that that was about it. It's actually put us in a place now. Well, we're in a great spot,

she says. First of all, the American Rescue Plant met the moment, and it has put us in a place where the American people feel can actually we can take on inflation. What I mean by that is we've seen growth right with as I meant, more than eight million jobs, and now we're transitioning into a steady, stable growth. The President actually wrote an op ed to discuss that himself, taught lay out his plan on how we're going to

bring down inflation. And so that's really important. In order to take this on, we got to have some being a good historic economic place, which is where we are right now. We're in a horrible economic place right now. What are you talking about? No, No, where this is great. We've got inflation right where we want it, basically is what she's saying, which is a total lie. But what else is she going to say? I keep saying, I keep pointing us out. What are Democrats going to say,

We're sorry, We're bad at this. Joe Biden's an idiot. We shouldn't have lied to you and pretended like we didn't think he was too old and too dumb for the job, because that's what they did. Everybody knew that, even Democrats, when they had better options, knew that. But they've since forgotten it very conveniently because Orange Man bed

Orange Man. I don't know. I think a lot of people missing missing that that Orange Man and certainly what he did for their four oh one ks, what he did for business, for industry, for freedom in this country. Let's talk about the situation in Philadelphia with Larry Krasman, the DA is he gonna get the boot like Chess Boo Dan got booted? Will discuss folks. Tunnel to Towers is an amazing organization. You know, my girlfriend Karay actually just did a fundraiser for them where she walked all

the stairs in the Freedom Tower. Because people who really need our help still need our help, are getting that from Tunnels to Tower Foundation. When a first responder or military service member doesn't come home and young children are left behind, Tallata Towers pays off their mortgage to lift

the financial burden and bring their family stability. For severely injured veterans and first responders, Tauata Towers builds mortgage free smart homes, enabling our most severely injured heroes to live more independent lives, and now, through Operation Home Base, Talta Towers is gifting tiny homes to homeless veterans. Our nation's heroes, people who put their lives on the line for our

country in our communities, need your help. Help these heroes and their families join Talta Towers on its mission to do good in their honor. Donate eleven dollars a month that t twot dot org. That's t the number two t dot org, Taltha Towers Foundation, t twot dot org. Go, please donate today. I donate. I'm a man, Clay donates if you can. I know it's a tough time, but if you can, it's eleven dollars a month. That t

twot dot org would really mean a lot. So they're talking about how they're going to stop violence with these gun control laws, and it's not actually going to work. Here is Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmidt, for example, on the red flag laws that they're saying, it's not going to be a federal red flag law, it's gonna be federal assistance to state red flag laws. Show me the data that the red flag laws work in any of these states. I'm just wondering, do they have that? Can

they show us that? Missouri ag Schmidt says this, the red flag laws are nothing more than a green light for gun confiscation. And why in the world would we give more power to the same people who are willing to arrest folks in the name of safety in an emergency for taking their kids to a playground during COVID and locking down businesses and creating a Ministry of Truth, by the way, which was going to tell people what they could say and when they could say it, coordinating

with the government to cancel people. And we've been told for years now that words are violence. Why wouldn't we believe that these folks are going to weaponize red flag laws to punish their political opponents. It's very obvious that's exactly what they're going to do now. One of the truths that we have to face in the aftermath of the COVID lockdowns is that the belief in the good faith actions of the apparatus of the bureaucracy, which is the same thing with the apparatus, belief in their good

faith actions, is now foolish. It does not act in good faith. They destroyed that by locking down, by barring children from playgrounds, by shutting down beaches, by telling people don't go to the beach. The very clear and there's now more and more research on this, the very clear association between being a far left democrat and mental illness. This is now there's more and more research that's being

done on this. It's real. You see this when they show up at different rallies and the people who are shrieking about you know how much they want to kill babies, or you know how much they are terrified about climate change. These people do not seem well, and they're not. But they were able to get their demands, their irrational, psychotic demands, filtered through the prism of Fauci and the authoritarians and the apparatus. And I will never forget, nor will I

forgive what happened. And so now when we talk about applying psychiatry through red flag laws, effectively, what they'll be doing that state will be adjudicating precriminal psychiatric risk. That's what this really is, right. So one thing, if somebody does something and they're criminally insane, yeah, of course the courts have been looking at that and dealing with that

for a long time. And if somebody is clearly not of sound mind, keep in mind the left has made it a lot harder for decades now to have somebody involuntarily committed a lot harder. But on this issue, they want to create a special space, it seems, where people can have their gun taken away without actually having committed a crime, and then they say we'll have really you know that, They say they're going to have really good

due process. And if that were the case, I could understand how people start to say, well, you know, maybe, but I don't believe them, And why should I think about this? Think about what we've seen from the people that want to tell you you have to get the shot, you have to wear the masks. Same people are not telling you have to have these these additions gun control regulations and now we get to what would actually help with violence in cities, which would be the enforcement of

gun laws, all laws, criminal laws on the books. And that's why Chesi Budan is out in San Francisco after the recall, and now the state legislature in Pennsylvania has put forth articles of impeachment against Larry Krasner. There's going to be a fight here. Krasner is awful, he's appalling. People are dead because he's a moron. That is what has happened in Philadelphia, highest murder rate ever last year

in the history of that city. What's going on there, Well, you see that Krasner dismisses half of prohibited possession gun charges. He's just people, gang bangers, criminals. They get found with a gun and Krasner goes, oh, we don't want a felony on your record, so they let it go. They just dismiss it. I'm not even time at plea deals, which is another whole component of this, where they give people a sweetheart deal and they say, oh, we're gonna

get you for possession of marijuan. What about the fact that this guy already had a felon in his record. You caught him with a you know, you caught him with a loaded clock nineteen on the street. What was he holding that clock? Nineteen nineteen four. Yeah, target practice. It's going to the range. No, they won't. They don't

want to press those charges. Larry Krasner believes that the disparate impact that would have on the African American community of Philadelphia is evidence or proof of racism in the system, so he doesn't want to actually enforce those laws. They say this, by the way, this is openly stated by these progressive prosecutors on the left, by this whole movement, that these laws are racist, so they should be enforced less and less people should be incarcerated, all because of

disproportioned impact. And as I'm fond of pointing out to people, there's a disproportioned impact on the male community for murder laws. But we don't say, hey, it's unfair ninety percent of people in prison for murder or a guy. So we just because there's not enough women in prison, you know, we can't really enforce those murder laws anymore. Right, we know that's aird, but that's what's actually going on. In

the case of Krauser's Philadelphia. In San Francisco, and then we have I meant to get to this before I'm kind of switching around. You find out that during the pandemic, during the lockdowns, not only did we spend trillions of dollars and create this massive systemic risk in our economy, but they just didn't feel the need to do things like, you know, inspect baby formula facilities. The FDA inspected three of twenty three infant formula plants throughout all of twenty twenty.

Usually every plant is inspected once a year now by rules, I think it has to be every three years, but they only did three out of twenty three instead of the usual, which is once a year. They inspected and guess what they found in the case of the Abbot Abbot labs that it was there were all kinds of problems, you know that they found contamination issues, stand water issues,

stuff like that. So they didn't want to do their jobs because everyone was so scared of COVID, which I got twice, probably three times, and the FDA, which is supposed to protect you, decided we can't have our cowardly, lazy federal government employee adults do their jobs. They have to stay home because COVID's so scary. And now you have baby formula shortages all over the country which are still ongoing, still ongoing. Now you have parents terrified they

can't get their babies formula. I believe there's been a few babies will taking the hospital because they couldn't find formula for them, because adults were irrational, cry babies, actual babies put in jeopardy because they didn't do their jobs.

A federal government didn't do their jobs. But now they want to tell you get your kids the you know, they get your six year old, the moderna shot, get your old, they get your four year olds, booster, They're they're completely out of their minds, folks, Sane versus insane. That is a central battle. As always, we'll continue to fight it here on the Buck Sexton Show, Talk You tomorrow. She'll high
