Welcome to the Buck Saxton Show.
Mark Simone, mister New York host on seven ten wor NYC, which dominates in the ratings, the number one talk show and sometimes I believe, just the number one thing that people are listening to on the radio in the biggest market in the country. Mister Mark Simone, good to have you answer.
Hey, great to be with you. I hate doing podcasts, but I love doing this one.
Thank you.
I appreciate that you're a man, a man of exquisite taste, sartorial and podcast space.
So thank you very much.
You know, man, I'm a Floridian now, as the audience knows, I'm one of those New Floridians. I do miss New York sometimes in some ways. But I see what's going on the with the they call them the migrants. I keep trying to tell everybody asylum seekers is really just a way the refugees. That's what an asylum seeker is, effectively the same thing as a refugee. It's just a question of where the application for that status occurs, which
means they're they're building refugee camps on Randall's Island. It's going to cost the city twelve billion dollars.
What is going on up.
There, Well, you know, asylum seeker. It's like saying a shoplifter is a product seeker. It's somebody's snuck into the country illegally. They don't. I mean, if they want to come here, they don't do it illegally. You should do it legally. It is an absolute mess. Eric Adams are mayor, when he first got elected, got on all these national shows, he was on the Sunday shows, he was all over the place, and he kept yelling, were a sanctuary city. I don't know why. He kept bragging about it. Where
a sanctuary city. So people like Governor Abbot of Texas said, let me take you up on your offer. You go, here's one hundred thousand migrants. It's a terrible situation. But if you had a Donald Trump here, he'd figure out what to do about it. Eric Adams has no clue what to do about it. He's sticking them in our finest hotels, sticking him in the busy residential neighborhoods, sticking him on an island now and his twelve million dollars
a day or what nobody is buying this figure. It's way beyond what anybody thinks it would really cost, you know, his thousand dollars a data. I mean, these are people that are living on ten dollars a day before. He's wasting all of our money. It's first of all, you could just put these people on buses, send them right back to Texas, or if it were me, send him to Washington, d c. He's talking about four or five billion over a couple of years. How about three million.
Just bust them all to Washington, drop them off in front of the White House. It's Joe Biden's illegals. Let him figure it out.
What is the crazy New York City Council. I know that's not technically the official term for them, but the crazy New York City Council. Are they recognizing that some of their constituents really don't want this and they don't like when they start here. I mean, even for a city of the size of New York, twelve billion dollars a lot of money, right, I mean for the federal government that's a joke. But for a city government. That's
a lot of money. What the I think the budget for the whole state of Florida, for example, is like one hundred billion, and I know New York's is a lot more than that, but it shouldn't be.
That's all other conversation. So what does the city council think about this?
Well, they're completely crazy. The city council is made up of the most woke left wing lunatic idiots. They believe all shopliftings should be illegal, the police shouldn't be bothering the criminals. They don't think cars should be driving in the street. That's no place for a car. Should be all bikes and scooters. And they've just completely messed up the city. And when it comes to illegals, these are
like heroes to them. They should we should be giving them parades every day instead of just sending them back or find a place for them. Is these are federal illegals, they should be put on federal land. We got a lot of federal land that there's places on along. I'm just federal government government, federal government refusing to allow these migrants to even stay there.
It's amazing, isn't it, Because it's an Immigration is a inherently and it is a federal issue to the degree that even Democrat administrations like the Obama administration and now the Biden administration, will prevent states. You know, you saw this in Texas, right, They're trying to put this water barrier, and the federal government says, how dare you don't don't stop people from coming here in violation of federal law.
I mean, it's crazy, but that is what they do.
But when it comes to dealing with the migrants, the burden is now falling on the states, right, so they so sometimes the federal government, again under a Democrat administration, says, hey, you don't do anything to help us at the border. But then when it comes to housing, feeding, clothing, all that kind of stuff, it's states. You got to figure this one out for yourself, Like, how does that make sense?
Well, hey, we also have the world's worst senator, the most useless guy in history, Chuck Schumer. Everybody hates him, nobody likes him, only they vote for him. They give you this argument that he's well, he's been there forty years and nobody has more clout in Washington. This is exactly where you would need this cloud. We're trying to get help from the federal government. This is who you do it through. Chuck Schumer, our senator. He has got
absolutely no cloud in Washington. He can't get change of a quarter from the White House. Nobody listens to him. And not only does he do nothing, he actually hides. You know, when we had riots all over New York, nobody saw him for six months. He was hiding. Now that we've got this migrant crisis, nobody sees him. He shows up once a week to do this fake press conference on the airline seats so big enough. But when he had a real problem with the crime or this
migrant crisis, he's not there to help. And hey, if Donald Trump was the mayor, he'd figured this out in about two days. You know, it's Abbot busting them all here from Texas. I bet you he would call Abbot and say, what does it cost you for these busses? What are spending five to ten million? Right?
And Abbot would feel like he would have somebody on the other side of this who actually wants to try to fix thing or work with it. Right, I mean, right now. He knows Democrats demand this. They've demanded that the border be as open as possible, whether it's Biden
or these sanctuary city mayors. Speaking of mayors, I did want to ask you this, Eric Adams, relative to expectations when he came into office, how would you assess you know, again relative like he's a Democrat, we know that, but relative to expectations, and do you think he could win re election? Is he even going to run for reelection? What do you think?
How would I assess him? Total disaster? I never thought people would misbuild the Blasio that previous mayor, but they did. Can he run for reelection? The real problem behind everything is totally corrupt media. They've gone totally one hundred percent corrupt. Democrats know they can get away with anything. If they were all over this border crisis, Biden would have to do something. If they were all over Eric Adams, he
would have to do more. In this crazy world. Who knows who could get elected because the media covers up anything Democrats do. They hammer away at any Republican that comes along. Anything could happen.
Well, what do you think of the or what's the latest on the crime situation? You know, there was a lot of talk about it when Adams came into office. You know, New York was going through an upswing period of crime.
What are the numbers?
Tell us here we are now what you know a year and a half into his term.
Well, you know, they keep telling you the numbers are down, numbers are down. Adams did one brilliant thing. He figured out how to get the number of arrests down. They stopped arresting people in a lot of categories. Oh my god, it took like twenty categories. No more arresting. So of course you see a drop and arrest because they're not arresting anybody. But the crimes are still going on, you know, like shoplifting is a good example. It's out of control,
like two billion dollars worth of shoplifting. They just don't arrest anybody for it. So it brings the total numbers down. It also costs the stories about twenty five percent, so they have to increase the price of all their products twenty five percent to cover the shoplifting. It's a tax. It's an inflation on all New Yorkers.
And I mean, I sit here and I wonder what does it take. Are there still people going back to the crazy City Council? But let's make it more about your standard, not that there's really such a thing, but you know, your your average run of the mill Democrat voter in New York.
They've got to realize.
That these policies that have led to all this when it comes to crime and all the shoplifting, and that it's idiotic, right or do they Is there still some argument that's being made by people, you know, day to day folks that this isn't a disaster, like put that into context for me.
Well, they believe in their crazy heads that it's it's your fault, it's my fault, that these poor people were deprived by society of everything and they have no choice but to steal, which is absolutely ridiculous. They believe poverty causes crime. What they don't realize is crime causes poverty. It makes stores leave, businesses leave, people leave, a neighborhood starts decaying, eventually becomes just nothing but poverty, all because of the crime. And Rudy Giuliani proved that you clean
up the crime. You know, Brooklyn was doing not well. It was a very bad area until Rudy Giuliani made it safe. Then suddenly it's booming. Apartments went from nothing to millions of dollars. Poverty creates crime. Crime is the other way around.
Crime crime creates poverty. Yes, crime is destructive of economic rime growth.
So these liberals believe that they also believe that there's so much smarter than us that they'll have to just show us how to do everything.
It's I think at some point it almost becomes a requirement to be a democrat and good standing. You have to accept the decay the on the streets around you, and the disorder and the crime. It's like the price of being a member in good standing. You're like, well, I guess this is what it has to be.
Mark.
I want to ask you about Alvin Bragg speaking of crime and district attorneys and how this is all going. That's coming up in one second, But first from our sponsor. The artificial intelligence gold rush could soon be creating substantial wealth for ambitious individuals who understand this technology. But while everyone's focusing on chat GPT and AI stocks like Nvidia, something incredible's happening less than two miles from chat GPT's headquarters.
For the past few months, engineers from Google and Microsoft have been working on a little known crypto project that could revolutionize the AI industry. You have a chance to get it on the ground floor of this project for pennies, giving you a rare chance to turn one thousand dollars into a six figure nest egg. All this information comes directly from Tika Tawari, the man who picked the top
crypto coin six years in a row. Tika is hosting a free online strategy session to give you all the details on his number one coin for this AI boom. Go to ai coin twenty twenty three dot com. That's ai coin twenty twenty paid for by Palm Beach Research Group. The brag indictment of Trump is the it's the legally the craziest, but it's also happening in New York where you have a super anti Trump jury pool and likely judge involved. How do you see this playing out?
Mark Well? But again, this is what I'm talking about, totally corrupt media. That's the only reason this could happen. It's astonishing that Alvin Bray could leave the building every day from work and there aren't a thousand reporters screaming at him. Why are you arresting anybody? Why are you not putting anybody in jail? And this Trump stuff. You know, if you mislabel your business records, you falsify your business records to another company in order to make money from
them or to scam somebody else. I understand that you falsified your business records within your own filing cabinet. If you're paying off a stripper, I could see calling it something expense. It's within your own filing system, never leaving your office. Why aren't reporters asking Alvin Bragg every day to explain how this is suddenly a crime? You can label anything anything you want in your own files. It's it's ridiculous. The Alvin Bragg, the judge, everybody should be
after him. You remember he prosecuted that Trump executive for using a company car. Did they send him a prison? Didn't they send him a prison? Right? Or was it?
Yeah?
No one reporter ever pointed out or said him, hey, you came to the court in a company car. You use a company car every day? Well, nobody ever. The press is so corrupt they never asked anybody any of this stuff. If they were all over them pressuring them, Alvin Bragg wouldn't be able to get away with this stuff.
What is what's his support, Like in the city, do people realize that Brag not aside from the the Trump stuff I was talking about the mayor before they realize Bragg is a disaster on crime or is that also not?
Really? You know, haven't reached the consensus on.
That yet, don't They don't cover him? Check their there's been no coverage of Alvin Bragg, nothing for months and months and months and months on end. You know what if a prosecutor goes after a Democrat, remember Ken Starr and Bill Clinton, they do nothing but expose's on Ken's Starr. They do stories on here.
Lawn, right, they set up like Tess practically.
Yeah, you see any story about Jack Smith, anything about his background? Do we know anything about him? No stories, nothing, not a word. His wife is a big Democratic contributor, No stories, nothing about it.
It's the fix is in. And that's why how do you handle this?
You know?
Because there's all this I try to look at it this way. There's all this legal analysis, and I know these these very smart minds, and they're saying things like, well, this is going to have to be there's going to be motions and they might move the different jurists. They might move jurisdiction, they might, there'll be appeals and they'll be Supreme Court and all this stuff. And I think
that's all valid, and it's true. In a normal in a normal circumstance, you could maybe rely on those things more. How rigged do you think the system is at this point? The legal system is against you know, what what do you make of that?
Well, it's totally really. I mean, when you suddenly these are the most serious crimes threat to America, you must prosecute. Then you find out there were three years ago. If they've waited three years to even bother with this. You know, if you really looked at Donald Trump, I might believe somewhere, out of all the things he did, maybe something might
have been a little bit of a crime. Nobody believes that he committed seven hundred and eighty two thousand crimes and that he's should be facing forty two million years in prison. It's just over the top.
You know.
The one of the courts ordered him, don't make a circus out of this. They already have.
Yeah, that's like shouting out mark in the middle of the circus, don't make this a circus.
That's okay.
Yeah, No, I don't know of any organized crime anybody ever who got this many charges or this many cases going.
That's crazy to me, you know, I, how do you think we you know, I want to ask you about what you think the voting public in the general, how they're going to react to all this.
Let's get to that in one second.
But folks, as you know, the economy could turn in a heartbeat, and inflation is still persistent. There are a lot of challenges out there, a lot of really high credit card debt right now, prices are high.
So what can you do.
At a time when it feels like just keeping all that money in your bank in your bank account could be a problem. Check out the Oxford Gold Group. You can diversify into real gold and silver and have it in your hands, have actual physical possession of it. The Oxford Gold Group is the best in the business at this. They can send it to.
You discreetly, quickly, efficiently.
Then you'll have, like I do, I've got it here with me in studio, gold and silver on hand.
Call the Oxford Gold.
Group eight three three seven zero seven gold A three three seven zero seven gold.
They make it easy.
They've been at this a long time, Like I said, it's who I've been working with for years, the Oxford Gold Group eight three three seven zero seven Gold. Okay, Mark, just if you would for me, Why is Trump going to win this time? Forget whether or not people think that he got you know, screwed out a last time. Why is he going to win this time? Because it a lot rides on it.
Well, uh, you know, had there been no pandemic, Trump would have had a booming, incredible economy, would have been a different story. But the country was in lockdown. The economy was a disaster. So that's one thing. Now it's a whole different matter. The economy's a disaster for Joe Biden. And as we've always known, when the economy is a disaster,
you don't get reelected. It's a horrible situation, the economy, the crime, all of this, this circus Stalinist show trials going on all over You got to believe in America, and you got to believe in Americans that they'll just do the right thing. Just I don't know what the polls are measuring exactly, but you know that silent majority is out there that will just rise up and put an end to this crazy, corrupt nightmare.
I certainly hope.
So.
I think one thing that I try to remind everybody of, including you know.
I just like you Mark.
I have people who are conservatives and even independence listening who are not Trump voters, or maybe they've been Trump voters and now they want to vote for somebody else. And what I always try to to bring into the conversation is, if they're going to indict somebody like Trump who's leading in the polls to be the Republican nominee four times, does anyone really doubt that they'll do this to the next Republican that they think is a real challenge to their way of doing.
Business, into the system.
I mean, I just feel like the precedent is dangerous in and of itself.
Yeah, you know. And some people will say, well, why do we have to have Trump? Why can we have somebody nicer, somebody a little more civil somebody. I think over the next few months, they're going to start to see that these people are vicious thugs, these are so vie it awful terrorists using the legal system way, and then we start to realize this is not a job for Mike Pence. You're going to need a street brawler to fight these people stuff the system, to get rid
of these swamp creatures. It's it's going to take a guy like Trump. No one else is up to the task.
Where do you think or how do.
You think the Biden reality plays out here? Is Joe Biden in your mind likely to still be the nominee? Or do you do you subscribe to the They're going to push him out and put somebody else in their plan.
I think at some point they got to push him out. I mean, we've seen a decline over the last few years. I've seen a decline over the last three or four months. So if they're gonna do it, they're gonna have to do it early next year. January February, that's where they'll have to do it. And that's six months away. I could see him just really declining. And also if this hunter Biden stuff really you know, and surrounds him and really destroys his future, they'll they'll just have him step down.
They'll do a Lindon Johnson'll just announce I don't seek reelection. There'll be an open primary, and they'll screw around with that and the they like out of that, and that'll be it.
You think that it would be Gavin Newsom or somebody else who would step in.
Yeah, I always find whatever vulture is circling early, that's never the guy that gets it. Uh, could be, but they'll pick somebody. Remember last time they had a lot of good but not good, but a lot of strong candidates and South Carolina they told everybody to drop out. They decided on Joe Biden, Budah, Jedge Warren. Everybody was told to drop out and they did. So they'll pick somebody. It could be one of the cabinet, could be some governor. You never know. I don't know if Newsom will play
long enough with them. I don't know if he's enough of a up it for them.
You optimistic for twenty twenty four, Mark, We're gonna We're gonna are the good guys gonna win?
Absolutely absolutely. You've got total disaster in the economy, The world's all screwed up, everything's a mess, crime all over the streets. If you can't beat that, I don't know what you could ever beat.
