Friday, September ninth edition of the program. We have California giving a pad on the head to its residents for helping them avoid blackouts. Governor Ronda Santis calls them out. We've also got the continued lawfare against
everybody in the GOP by the Libs. Whether it's Steve Bannon prosecution underway right now, or the Trump Marlago documents, or you name it. They are trying to do everything that can to criminalize their political opponents. We will break this down for you and then I do not have a lot of thoughts on the legacy of the royal family in the UK, and I'm wondering how many of you, like me, are respectful about the issue but also not particularly interested in a lot of in depth analysis on
the issue. I don't know, I'm wondering, so let me know. You can send me a message at Facebook dot com slash buck Sexton or on Twitter at buck Sexton. So Gavin Newsom is taking something of a victory lap here because they didn't have blackouts at California because people apparently turned off they're turned off their electricity. Enough enough of those prius, Actually, I guess you don't charge your priests in the wall. Enough of those tesla's, the electric cars you charge in They said, don't actually know you must do you charge? How do you charge your prius? I don't even you must do it?
Plug it in, right, Yeah, So that's the same thing, or no prius is a hybrid. I don't know who cares. Point is they're saying, good job, you helped us avoid blackouts in California. Governor Ron DeSantis, who has a brewing a feud, a slow boil back and forth with the governor of California, had this to say about it. They can't keep the power on in California. Play twenty three. You know you hear all this stuff. I mean, I hear a lot of people chirping about Florida from like California.
They're so worried about Florida. They can't even keep the power on in California. I mean, are you kidding me? Someone told me that they will be able once all the people that want to move to Florida move out of there, then maybe they'll have adequate power. But I mean, it's just it's just ridiculous. And so, you know, we've been able to do that. Part of it, though, is just, you know, we stood for people's rights, we stood for people's freedoms. And obviously the state has done very well.
We have more people employed in Florida than we did prior to COVID. Florida is the huge success story. California's falling apart, and this is what is obvious, Boddy. There's also a narrative that the Libs are gonna fight and they're gonna opiskate, they're gonna lie whatever they gotta do to event people from recognizing what is so apparent the moment you give it some thought. They're having blackouts in California, their cities are in decay, crime rates rising dramatically, have
super high taxes. I mean, I just have to wonder if somebody has a choice between Florida and California, if they were coming from elsewhere in the country, why would they choose California. They want to pay a dysfunctional, activist, climate change obsessed state government more of their money. They think that's a good idea. I mean, I certainly, I certainly hope that that's not something. Well, maybe very few of them will do that, though, because we've seen hundreds
of thousands of people moving to Florida. But this is also a moment where you have to remember, just because the Democrats are failing in various endeavors on a whole range of issues, it doesn't mean that they're going to change. This is ideological for them. They are devoted to these ideas. This isn't just about the result. In fact, it's often
not about the result at all. It's about how the pursuit, how the intention makes them feel, and how it makes them able to wield power more totally over over individuals. And that there's that word total asn't totalitarian. State of California doesn't really care that the people are suffering from high gas prices, They threat of blackouts, I mean, all the dysfunction you could possibly imagine. Meanwhile, in Florida, Rhonda Santist continues to make smart decisions that benefit everybody in
their day to day lives in that state. I'd also note that he is getting rid of any mask mandates for students that are in the Headstart program. He's saying, look for children. He's saying, we're not masking up kids anymore in this state. We're just not doing it. That is absolutely the right move. Masking up children is child abuse.
It needs to stop, all right. We are forcing children to suffer developmental delays, to make them stressed, to make them physically uncomfortable, because adults are too stupid and cowardly to accept the reality that Fauci is an evil tyrant who knows nothing and that the entire response to COVID was a disaster. They don't want to accept that, so that they won't look at reality there. They also won't
deal with reality on crime. You know, I want everyone to know across the country that while the stories are getting out, and particularly because of what we've seen in Memphis in the last week, the heinous kidnapping, rape and murder of Eliza Fletcher, and then this mass shooting of that killed four by this guy who was already imprisoned for attempted first degree murder. He only served a very short sentence. I think it was a couple of years and is out and now he's facing the death penalty.
He certainly should, but people are paying more attention to crime. While that's happening, you may think will the Democrats are going to have to change course on this when they're going to start being more reasonable because they don't want to lose elections. They may pretend, they may allow people to think that they're not quite as insane as they've been in the past, but that's not the reality of
what they're going to do. In Chicago, for example, or the crime rate as we all know, the violent crimes, the murders that are going on in that city completely out of control, totally unacceptable. They're going to be passing a criminal or rather, they're going to be instituting a criminal reform law that has already been passed that will make it harder to arrest people. They'll be fewer things you can actually affect an arrest of a person for
a crime for doing. And also they're going to be making it so that people don't have to pay any cash for bail. Now I understand the theory beyond cash bail. But what it means is that people just get let out. They just get let out, and that gives them a
perception of impunity, effectively that the law. I mean, you get arrested, you get out, and then you're going to go to the court maybe and the judge is going to be a left wing, soft on crime Democrats, so then you're going to get a very minimal sentence of anything. I mean, this is what keeps happening. They're not just going to improve because of the failures, because, as I've said,
it is ideological for them. They are emotionally devoted to these policies even if they're failing, which they are, which means they're going to keep doing it. Come into the latest lawfare issues here in just a second. Have you ever want to invest in real estate? My friends? But you did another time to do it on your own. I felt that way until a few years ago when I met the founders have done for your real estate.
I am now a real estate investor. I am building my portfolio slowly and intelligently over time, going for safe growth real estate that I know, over the long run, is going to build financial stability for me and provide great homes for people to live in the meantime. Good are done for you Buck dot Com and Done for your real Estate will take you through every step of the process. You could be like me, a total novice, never even I never even bought a home period to
live in. My first home I ever purchased from was from Done What was with the help of Done for your real Estate, and it was an investment property that I've done very well with. Go to done for you Buck dot Com. They'll teach you about the whole process, every step from finding the house, getting the management company, the tenant in place, leave and help you get the loan. All of it done for you, Buck dot com. One more time, that's done for you, Buck dot Com. Yeah.
The rule of law in this country is definitely under assault, and it's coming from the left. Here is Josh Holly who's pointing out that while violent crime, while the crime that is a true threat to individuals, is raging out of control, and Democrats are always making excuses for it. Across the country. There are very quick the Democrats are very quick to use the FBI as their own little Stazi to arrest their political opponents or harass them bring
charges against them whole January six. In some cases, non violent offenders in solitary confinement for over a year. All the political crimes are treated very seriously by Democrats. Actual crimes, violence, theft, destruction, robbery, that something Democrats are always explaining away plate clip nineteen. But we're seeing as an administration that cares nothing about the rule of law. They only care about abusing it.
The only time they're interested in law enforcement is when they can use it against their political opponents, especially Donald Trump or anybody who supported Donald Trump. And what we're seeing as an effort by this president to use law enforcement, to abuse law enforcement, to try to criminalize basically the political opposition, which is half the country. I meantime, you've
got people like this Keller and Memphis. We're seeing, we're seeing shooting sprees, we're seeing murders, we're seeing carjackings all across the country, all across the country. Biden, DJ won't lift a finger to do anything about the crime spree that is hurting and killing Americans. But they've got all the time in the world to target their political opponents. It's just true. And look what they're doing right now with Steve Bannon there. They've they've had Steve Bennon turn
himself in. He's facing criminal charges. They're saying he defrauded people who gave money for the Build the Wall project. He's essentially saying that he used some of that too much of that money, or illegally use that money to pay personal expenses. I mean, this is essentially this is very close to being a tax or irs audit kind of crime, right, I mean, is there is there some
gray area? I mean, do I do we know all the facts yet about exactly what happened, but is there a gray area that Steve Bannon may have been operating in? Was he maybe a little too quick to spend money on things that Okay, they're really going to bring this as a criminal charge. They're gonna bring this, and we're
supposed to believe it's not a political targeting. If Steve Bannon was running a charity to you know, save Chihuahuas or something instead of a Build the Wall project, and if he wasn't Steve benn and if he was just you know, John Doe, do you think they would really bring this criminal charge after obviously there was already a presidential pardon at the federal level. For him, this is all about sending a message they will never relent, They
will never let it go. If you cross the left, they will continue to target you and to try to ruin your life for as long as they are in power. The only way to make it stop is to raise the cost of this kind of political targeting and to fight back against it, because they will just believe rightly so in a sense that they can continue to get away with this. It's very, very frustrating, and I think that the GOP needs to have a bit of a
wake up call with all of this. They need to have a wake up call about how the left uses the law as a weapon of politics on a regular basis. The mar Lago raid today, there's more leaks about how oh there's additional classified information they have to go and find.
I just think that what they're doing is waiting to see how the midterms go, and then depending on what the midterm aftermath is like for Democrats, is Trump the clear nominee for the Republicans for president, and then maybe they do throw a criminal charge at him, even if it's obstruction, even if it's flimsy, it's just meant to dirty up Trump a bit more. They can call them an indicted criminal and all this other stuff. That's what they're going to do because they're desperate. What else they
going to talk about? The weak economy, the wide open border crime, and all of our cities with a huge spike. Well, what are they going to tell us that makes any reasonable person? Look, you can win over crazy Libs. They think the earth is melting and they're freaked out about climate change. Fine, but for independence, for anybody that's open to voting for either side. Democrats don't have a compelling
case and everyone knows it. So they're going to turn this into a massive smear campaign and they're going to use the law where they can in the service of that. So we have to be very aware of it going forward and have to fight back against it. All Right, I'm down in Austin for the weekend, so if you see me at the Texas versus Alabama game, please come say hello. I will be back with you on Monday from NYC. Until then, she'll tie
