The Biden administration to push Israel for pauses in its war against Hamas, different than in all out cease fire. Let me explain what's going on here and how I think this is likely to play out in the days ahead.
So Anthony Blincoln has the Secretary of State has announced that this is now the new Biden administration request of Israel that they will have multiple periods of what they're calling pause, which I guess just means a very short cease fire for humanitarian purposes, or they're calling it a humanitarian pause. Now, this I suppose is supposed to limit the civilian casualties, allow for the evacuation of some civilian casualties, for the humanitarian corridors to be able to deliver aid
to civilians, food, water, medicine, and all of that. I think is good, makes sense, and I can understand the imperative for this, But I have to wonder what will this do in terms of allowing Hamas to regroup to refit, What will this do to mess up the Israeli plans here to destroy Hamas leadership, to capture or kill all of those who are involved in the October seventh attack.
Is this going to make the whole situation substantially more difficult because remember there's also the there's also the calculation here of IDF casualties when they're going into clear out these tunnels and they're engaged in this street to street fighting.
But it's astonishing that you have people that still can't see with any moral clarity here that on the one side, you have Hamas that will do the most heinous things imaginable to defenseless civilians, to women and children, intentionally do them in the most barbaric fashion that they can to show that they are willing to engage in any degree
of evil. And on the one hand, and on the other hand, you have Israel that, after being on the receiving end, after being the victim as a nation of this awful terrorist attack, is now being told, well, you can't just conduct your response the way that you think best suits your national security interests. You have to have the international community watching your every move and determining when you have to stop based upon the demands of humanitarian concern.
No other country would do this. I mean, the US wouldn't do this. Can you imagine if we were going into Afghanistan and they told us, well, we have to make sure that there are humanitarian corridor set up so when the bombing campaign and the effort to destroy the Taliban and al Qaeda create refugees and create civilian and collateral damage, it'll be minimized. We would have said, yeah, I mean, we're gonna try it to hit civilians, but we're killing the Taliban and al Qaida, So you know,
you can see. I think, if nothing else here, it shows you the true differences between what you deal with on the Israeli side of the equation. Even in response, even fighting a just war, they are now going to be limiting the response that they have, assuming that they agree to this, assuming this is all, assuming that Israel says, sure,
we'll do these temporary ceasefires. And one question that I've had all along here is how long the people that are demanding the ceasefire, how long is the ceasfire supposed to be supposed to go? Because they say, oh, Israel can defend itself, but we need a ceasefire. Well, so when are the winner Israeli military operations to those who demand the ceasefire, When are they okay? Well, you know
the answers, they're never okay. They're never going to say, oh yeah, you know what, Israel is actually fully within its rights to engage militarily against Hamas right now, that's never going to happen. So they pretend that it's about a ceasefire and humanitarian concerns, but really it's about making sure that Israel is not in a position to defend itself.

Hunter Biden has come out with a blistering op ed in a USA Today. Let's say I usually don't write or I usually don't read USA today, but anyway, blistering op ed I thought to get sober. Political weaponization of my addiction
hurts more than me. This guy is so shameless, is so gross that now he's playing the victim car because of his addiction issues, to not only escape with all the malfeasance that he has conducted, I mean all the illegal stuff and all the corruption everything else, but using it as a weapon to go after his political opponents and to make sure that no one is able to criticize his dead Here's what he writes, My struggles and my mistakes have been fodder for a vile and sustained
disinformation campaign against my father, President Joe Biden, and an all out annihilation of my reputation. That's the subheader here from his Can I just ask, I mean, what reputation like Hunter Biden at this point, the notion that he would even have a reputation to protect. Isn't that kind of laughable? Isn't that absurd? Isn't that crazy? I mean, the guy is a drug addict who illegally bought a weapon, lied on federal forms, pays prostitutes, tried to write off
prostitutes as a business expense on his taxes. It's you know, it's illegal. It'sould be like writing off cocaine as a business expense or something. This is crazy. And then was selling influence to his dad to US adversaries. I mean, that's the part of this you have, remember, I mean, for China to be able to buy influence through the Biden crime family, that's meaningful because that undermines the interests of the American people, which is obviously why China's doing it.
So this isn't some minor thing. But I knew this would happen, and I think you should be prepared for more of this. The plan for Hunter Biden is going to be to play the sympathy card for addiction, and for his dad, it's the sympathy card for this is my wayward son, What do you want me to do about it? And Democrats don't care about the corruption on their side. As long as they are in power and as long as they're calling the shots, they'll excuse pretty
much anything. So that's why I don't think for people they are saying all the Biden crime stuff it's all gonna come crashing down, it's not. It's not. They're gonna run Joe Biden. And if he wins, he's gonna pardon his son. He's gonna pardon his son from all this stuff. So Hunter Biden is actually not going to face any criminal legal consequences when all said and done, and even if he loses, to be clear, he'll pardon his son. But certainly if he wins, he's gonna pardon his son
as well. So I means Hunter Biden's not gonna face it the criminal charger. So all this like oh woe is me stuff from hunters pretty ridiculous. But here he writes my struggles and my mistakes have been fodder for a violence, a sustained disinformation campaign against him meaning his dad, through a high pitch but fruitless congressional investigation, and criminal charges for possessing an unloaded gun for eleven days five years ago, charges that appear to be the first ever
of their kind brought in the history of Delaware. I accept that the choices and mistakes are mine. I am not a victim by any standard. I grew up with privilege and opportunity and fully accept the choices of mistakes are mine. This is what recovery is about. What troubles me is the demonization of addiction. Ah, there we go the real problem, you see, the real problem here is the demonization of addiction. Hunter Biden is a martyr. He's a hero. He's the good guy in the story. Isn't
that amazing? Never, I haven't even talked about the tax fraud, stuff that you wouldn't get away with, stuff that you know they would throw you in prison for. I haven't even talked about that, And I haven't talked about you know, this is a guy who is denied paternity of a stripper. I mean, the whole thing is a mess. He's paying women for sex that's illegal in Delaware. Pretty sure you know he's crack. That's illegal. I mean there's a lot of stuff, a lot of violations of laws. But he's

Colorado judge ways if Trump incited an insurrection and can run again. So this is a story
from the Washkin Post. A Colorado judge is waging with the Trump and said an insurrection is barred from running for president again. During a hearing this week, She's heard about nineteenth century constitutional debates, how and when the National Guard is deployed, free speech rights, and jokes cracked by
Trump advisors about January sixth. The case is one of many challenging Trump's ability to serve under an eighteen sixty eight provision of the Constitution that stands out because the judge overseeing it is holding an unusual week long trial to help her make up her mind. She's heard from constitutional scholars, police officers who are assaulted, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So is the judge, Sarah Wallace, is expected to rule this month, and it's expecting to move briskly.
Can I just say they're trying to save democracy by destroying it. This is a common theme you see with Democrats. They want to keep Trump off the ballot. That's their way of defeating him. Now, they've been telling us all along that Trump can't win, people don't want Trump, he is toxic and all this other stuff. And yet now they're trying to do something unprecedented in the history of this country in order to come up with a way to not allow the American people to vote for Trump
if they choose to vote for Trump. Now, what does that tell us? Well, for one, they're clearly scared that Donald Trump can actually win this election. Two, they don't give a damn about democracy and the will of the people and all that other stuff. That's just rhetoric talking points. They'll say whatever they have to say in the moment to get the outcome that they want, and that's all that it is. So they're bringing these challenges in a
number of states. I think it's unlikely that they will succeed, but who knows, and what happens then. I mean, if they're able to get Trump off the ballot in Michigan or Trump off the ballot in a New Hampshire or one of these states. That could be it, that could be the difference maker. And so I assume the Supreme Court would would end up taking this up. We'll have
to see how that would go. But the people that are telling you how much they care about democracy are the same people that are willing to completely subvert democracy and use abuse of the law in order to get there.
