You're listening to the Buck Sexton Show podcast, make sure you subscribe to the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts. This was the top agenda item all along. We should have seen it coming, I think many of us did. If you remember, during the Obama years, the first thing they went to was healthcare, and then after healthcare they went for immigration, and then after immigration, they tried to go for the environment, what

you could call the Green New Deal. But now they've realized this time around with Biden and Charge, the Democrats are going to be pushing more on immigration than anything else, and specifically on amnesty. That's right, amnesty. This is what they realize wins the future for them. All they have to do is win on this issue and everything else falls into place. We see this, we've seen it coming, I think for years. And here's what the Biden administration

is saying about. The US Citizenship Act of twenty twenty one includes an eight year path two citizenship for illegal immigrants, which the White House estimates to be eleven million. Eight year path this citizenship. Now, let's let's understand this. The whole notion of a pathway to citizenship is false. Once they create a legal framework, once they create this basis for making people who are in the country illegally permanent, not just residence citizens. This isn't just saying you get

to say. This is saying you get to vote. You understand, right, this is what's going to happen. And by the way, if they try to change this, if they try to alter the language, they say, well, no, it's not voting rights right away, it's actually just gonna be permanent status. If that's the case, they'll change it. They'll change it because once someone's here permanently, they'll have the ability to vote.

Once someone's here and they're legal, it's just a matter of time before the Democrats are in the majority again, or just change their mind while they're in the majority and say, you know what we're gonna do. We're going to grant voting rights now eleven million people. Think about

how many votes the last election was determined by. Think about what it will mean for the Republican Party going forward if not only do you have those immediate votes added into the mix, but there is going to be an enormous bush obviously for particularly the many millions of Latinos who would be covered under this or have someone they know covered under this to vote Democrat forever. I mean, this is a way to try to achieve a permanent majority.

And you'll notice that in the past when this was tried, Democrats wanted to do this. Under the Obama administration, some Republicans we're gonna go along with it. In the past, when this was tried, the people lit up the switchboards of Congress. It was the American people who said, hold on a second, what exactly is going on here? And you're going to be let me assure you, you're going to be lied to about this issue as much as

anything in the political realm in recent years. I mean, you're going to be told things by the news media about this. Oh, it's gonna be very strictly enforced to think about it. Why why an eight year path to citizenship? Why why should it take eight years? What exactly about that makes up? Oh? Well, because then they say they'll process people and there will be these these benchmarks you have to hit, There'll be these things you have to achieve, things you have to do in order to qualify. Here's

why that's nonsense. If you don't qualified, as anyone believe you're actually gonna have to leave the country if for some reason you don't do some of the things, and who knows what it will be. Right, this hasn't become a law yet, but payback taxes have English proficiency, as you, no doubt, no a lot for a lot of cases. The people that are illegal immigrants would not, in fact even qualify for paying federal income taxes. They would get a refund from the government for their based on their

earnings in the past. So they're just gonna get a check. They're just gonna get a check. And now we see the Democrats understanding how to utilize and wheel power. This is one part of the game that I wish the Republicans knew better. I know people don't want to hear this. What did we get? We had Trump and we had a Republican majority of the House and the Senate for two years in twenty sixteen, starting in twenty seventeen, what did we get anybody? Tax cuts? We got tax cuts. Now,

tax cuts are fine. You know, I think we are over tax but remember they're all so temporary. Taxes are about to go up, friends, Taxes are about to go up a whole lot. And what we see now is that the Democrats understand to strike while the iron is hot. They're trying to take action while they can, to do as much as they can. That's their plan, that's the way they approach this. And we're left to say, let's hope we can convince some of their own, some Democrats

not to go along with this. Let's hope we can convince enough of the American people that this would lead to well, lawlessness in this country. I mean, sovereignty is already being eroded by Democrats all the time. Because what's to make anyone think that this amnesty would be the final amnesty. If you're wondering how this has worked down in the past, you can go back and about Reagan's

amnesty back in nineteen eighty six. It was only going to be a few million people, and it turned out to be a whole lot more than that, And it went on for years and years and years. The enforcement mechanisms that were supposed to be in place the deal then, and this was under Reagan, and Reagan admitted that he got swindled. He admitted that this was not this did not end up being a good deal for the American people.

But what it was was that you had people that were going to be legalized, but that would be it, and you would shut it down and no more illegal crossings at the border. Okay, that was it. That was what we were supposed to get in exchange in response, And do you think that happened? Do you think there was no illegal crossing after that? Do you think that that would no? Of course not no. In fact, it was a massive incentive and there were even more illegal

crossing in the nineties than ever before. You want to know how did California flip from being a Republican leaning state to being a deep blue stronghold. Illegal immigration through the nineties played a huge role in that. Say, oh, but illegal immigrants can't vote, their families can, their children can? And which party is more favorable to illegal immigrants? Which

party says, sure, come on, come on in. Doesn't matter that you've broken the law, doesn't matter that there are these challenges, and it's gonna be part of a whole broader legalization effort that includes things like temporary protected status, deferred action for childhood arrivals, immediately eligible for Green cards of farm workers. There's gonna be all this stuff. That's this is exactly what they tried under the Obama administration. They're just gonna dress it up a different way. They're

gonna call it something else. They're gonna have some other way of of presenting this to the American people. But this is where everyone has to see. Joe Biden was sold to us as though he was in some way less radical than Obama. That's obviously not true. Joe Biden is completely in line with Obama. In fact, because the Democrat Party has gone further left, Joe Biden is governing to the left of Obama right now. That's what's actually happening. It's what we are seeing from day one to now,

unbroken trend here. Oh it was good old blue collar Joe. He's been in the game a long time. You know, you could trust him. He's he's whatever the Democrat Party needs him to be. He was whatever the Obama administration needed him to be. And now the Biden amnesty now they have the votes, if they get rid of the filibuster, they can do this now. I know. Right now, people say, oh, they won't. Democrats won't go for that, you know, Joe Mansion,

there a few Democrats who won't do it. The truth is, if they decide this is important enough, they'll do whatever they have to do to achieve power. They'll push in whatever ways they need to. There's not even a pretense, by the way, in this bill of border security. Boarder security used to be the thing that Democrats pretended they cared about so they could get more illegal immigration, so they could get more amnesty. In this case, they're not

even they're not even going through the motions. This is just legalizing a whole lot of people that broke the law and in this country illegally to this day. That's what it is, and trying to up those numbers as much as possible. This changes the American political landscape, and that is what the Democrats are hoping to achieve with it. That's what Biden's trying to do. You're in the freedom hunt. Thanks for listening to The buck Sexton Show podcast. Get

The bullying is nothing new, I believe ron Kim, and it's very, very sad no public servant, no person who's tell him the truth should

be treated that way. But yeah, the threats, the belittling, the demand that someone changed their statement right that moment, many many times I've heard that, and I know a lot of other people in this state have heard that. So you believe assembly Man Kim that he was threatened? Its First of all, I know him, He's a good public servant. I've always seen him as a person of integrity. But it's just the script is exactly what a lot of us have heard before. It's not a surprise, it's sad.

It's not the way people should be treated. And you know, a lot of people get intimidated by that. I give him credit for not being intimidated. Wait a second, you mean the love Gov. You mean that the hero of the pandemic, the greatest leader, a guy who should be a stand in at the last minute for the Democrat nominee for the twenty twenty election. You mean I get

an Emmy and I write a book about leadership. Andrew Cuomo is actually a terrible human being who's bad at his job and just runs around like a psychotic bully. Oh okay, you know we're not actually just finding this out. Now, it's just now they can't hide it anymore. It's broken wide open on the nursing home issue, so they can't run the same kind of cover for him. But they did cover for him for as long as they possibly could.

They did everything in their power, everything in their capability, so to make sure that none of this stuff would be known by the general public before the twenty twenty election. Cuomo has a horrid, a putred reputation for anyone who has actually dealt with him in politics. And yet the media was all, oh, my gosh, listen to the way that he tells these tales, he weaves these stories, Listen to the way that he's bringing us all together with

his conferences. Absurd, simply absurd. And now we find out that he even goes after fellow Democrats, notice even to Blasio, who is a man of the left. But you know, he's a bureaucrat and he's a tyrant in his own way, but he's a passive, aggressive tyrant. You know, he's a Well, I want you to do this thing, and I'm gonna have my people send you a letter. Cuomo gets up in your face. Cuomo tells you your career is over. Here's the The The New York Times reported on it for months.

Assemblyman Ron Kim has been one of the few Democratic lawmakers willing to criticize Governor Andrew Cuomo for his state's handling of the nursing home during the pandemic, pressing for investigations into the matter. So when a top aide to mister Cuomo recently admitted that his administration had withheld nursing home data from state lawmakers, mister Kim, whose Queen's district was hit hard by the coronavirus, said it appeared the

governor was trying to dodge having any incriminating evidence. Hours after mister Kim made comment in The New York Post last Thursday, he got an irate late night call from the governor. Mister Quomo began with a question, are you an honorable man, and then proceeded to yell for ten minutes. Mister Kim recalled, threatening to publicly tarnish the assemblyman and urging him to issue a new statement clarifying his remarks. Sir Cuomo made good on his threat on Wednesday afternoon.

In a remarkable retort, the Governor used his press briefing to lob allegations of propriety at the assemblyman, saying that he had his administration have had a long and hostile relationship with mister Kim, now in his fifth term. In particular, mister Cuomo was angered and combative about a letter published by The New York Post that was signed by several

Assembly members, including mister Kim. The letter, citing the governor's delays and releasing a complete tally of deaths of nursing home residents, including those that happened after a resident was transferred to a hospital, accused mister Cuomo of attempting to

circumvent a federal probe and intentional obstruction of justice. Oh wait, a second Cuomo could be under investigation here friends, the FBI US Attorney's office in Brooklyn are, according to a number of news outlets, investigating Cuomo's handling of the nursing home deaths. So the heat is getting turned on here,

But I just there's so much going on. This is the guy who, more than anyone, with the exception of Fauci, was held up by the Democrats at the peak of the first wave of the pandemic, held up by the Democrats as the model for how to handle this. They even said things like he's the model, this is the way you deal with it. And now we see he is a psychotic tyrant. Now we see that Governor Cuomo is somebody who is not only willing to hide information

that would show people just what happened here. People's relatives were dying. They were dying by the thousands in these nursing homes. They weren't even allowed to see them in their last days. They weren't even allowed to show up and give them one last hug or even wave to them. And Cuomo was acting like he was high and mighty, and if only we listened to him, lives would be saved. If we did not do everything he told us, whatever calamity would befall us was our fault, and people ate

it up. Democrats believed this. They thought that this was a great example of leadership during a crisis. This buffoonish, vicious thug and democrat governor of the fourth biggest state in America, somebody who has still talked about or was until recently as having presidential aspirations. How is it that

we can have journalists in this country? How can we have a profession known as journalism when they don't feel ashamed that this truth about how Chomo handle the pandemic, how he hid what he did, and how he tried to suppress anyone else from speaking out about it, including people in his own party who were disgusted. I'm sure Assemblyman Kim is appalled by this, appalled on a deep

human level. This is his neighborhood, Queens was one of the worst hit parts of the entire country by the COVID pandemic, and Cuomo wouldn't hear anyone else, no other ideas, allowed no other thoughts to be included. His way or shut up, and he really means it. He means it. You you have to do it the way the Kuomo tells you to, or you deal with the consequences. That's why this Guardian piece here. A lot of news news

sites picked this up. This is just the beginning. Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn the FBI have started investigating how Andrew Cuomo's Coronavirus Task Force handled data on debts in care homes and similar facilities, according to multiple reports, as pressure mounted on the New York governor. The preliminary federal investigation is looking into whether state officials manipulated figures on care home debts, which were recently revealed to be nearly double

what the authorities first disclosed. This isn't just about accountability. This is about liability. This is about holding people responsible for decisions that might have led to death. In the case of Andrew Cuomo and his nursing home order, we're just beginning to dig into this. This is the Buck Sexton Show podcast. Follow Buck on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Governor Cuomo called me the next day at eight pm while I was about debate my kids. I was with

my wife and for ten minutes he berated me. He held up me. He told me that, you know, my career will be over. He's been biting his tongue for months against me, and I had tonight, not tomorrow, tonight, to issue a new statement essentially asking me to lie and asking me like I just I heard and I saw a crime that a day and he's asking me that I did not see that crime. And that was the line that he could you know aligned that he crossed that can't be undone. And that's why I had

no choice but to come out and speak up. The hero of the Democrats during the pandemic, second only to Fauci, and we see he's actually a disgrace, bad at the job, awful decision making, dishonest, and a thug on top of it all. The Governor of New York, highest executive official in New York State. This is the person who gets

to determine when restaurants get to open. This is the person who gets to determine what the level of business closures will be for how long, at what percentage, how long you have to mask, where your mask, how you mask. Everyone needs to understand that is what has happened in this country. We have handed over willingly because people are scared. And when everyone got so scared because the media was just pushing the panic porn everywhere because it was necessary

in their minds to defeat Donald Trump. When they were pushing all of this, when they were doing all of this never occurred to them or they didn't care that they were handing over all of this authority to morons, people like Andrew Cuomo. Unbelievable that this is where we are. And you know, you see this some of the some of the big names that were used for their anti trumpism, some of the people out there who we were told that the most important thing about them was their utility,

their usefulness in destroying Donald Trump. They've now been proven to be frauds. They've been proven to be awful people, so many of them. I mean, you have you have Cuomo, you have the Lincoln Project, which has been in a state of complete collapse. Right, you have the Lincoln Project. You have now Governor Cuomo. Gavin Newsom another one. Right, Oh, Gavin Newsom was doing a great job. He was taking victory lapse in California. He was the he was the

poster child. He was the golden boy, the person that knew how to protect his people because he listened to the science. That's how he uses in You know, here in California, we listened to the science. Gavinism is assure you do how that science work out for you. In November, December, January. Oh, you know what the real problem was, they weren't double masking. If only if only someone had figured out that two masks were better than one six months ago, we would

have all been fine. That's what they want you to believe. Now. What they definitely do not want is for you to question what the heck has happened to this country and what we've been put through. People like Newsome and Cuomo and Whitmer have been making these decisions, these arbitrary, totalitarian decisions about our lives for going on a year now,

and we just went along with it. Because those who were in a position to raise the alarm, to say, hold on a second, this isn't the way, we don't have to do this, they were either silenced or cowards, and so the country was dragged through this. All Newsom and Quomo did was make things worse. The policies that they instituted for which there was opposition, for which we could have had a robust debate, they didn't allow the debate. It was nope, I make the call. I'm in charge.

That was the approach from Cuomo, from Newsom, from Whitmer, from Governor Murphy in New Jersey, many many of them, Hogan and Maryland's go down the list, listen to what we tell you to do, or else we'll shut down your business, or else we'll arrest you. We'll find you, we'll shame you, you'll lose your job. Oh, you're a mask denier. You can't even fly on a plan anymore. Mask denier. Right, that's how it's been. And now we see who these people really are. Now they're being exposed.

And in the case of Governor Cuomo, this is not going to go away. This is not one that you can just wave your hand and pretend it didn't happen. He was engaged in an active disinformation campaign with the complicity with the partnership really of the corporate Democrat media and that the Democrat Party overall. You go back, you hear all the oh, all the speeches, all the celebrities, celebrities, you know, all these actors and athletes are so stupid.

It's really social media just means now we're all that they inflict their idiocy on us all the time, either if you don't want to see it, but they were, Oh, quomos doing such a great job. This is more than just about the political accountability, and I want you to really understand that part. This is more than just a question of whether or not there should be pain for someone like Quomo the ballot box for making bad decisions when he hides information from people, the people, including the

government itself as well as the voters. When he hides information that has to do with life and death issues. That has to do with public health. That's more than just I don't want people to think badly of me. That's affecting decisions, and the outcomes of those decisions are determining whether people live or die. New York Assembly Member Ron Kim says, and this is why Cuomo was so angry at him that there was no discussion or debate when it came to what Cuomo wanted to do with

nursing homes or anything else for that matter. He was the tyrant of New York. There were there's a total of nine thousand COVID positive patients that were transferred back to nursing homes in about in the two month time period where he had a mandate then when nursing homes couldn't reject them. These were under prepared nursing homes. I know this because I was on the ground working with them.

They were crying that they couldn't do this. Half of the staff members already had COVID by them and they were out. They weren't working. But Governor, you know, he just doubled down and tripled down. Other states might have adopted those policies, but they quickly repealed and moved an entire direction to a point where they started banning COVID positives nursing homes. But he continued to do that and it was a bad policy and that but that's not the point, Joe. I think we can all understand in

the first wave, you could have made some mistakes. I think the public, myself, we would have sympathized and continued to work with him, But he shut us out. He covered information, and he doubled tripled down on bad policies. And that's why we're here today because he refused to talk about the truth and acknowledged the mistake so we

can move to state forward. He refused the truth in a way that affected decision making at the highest level about the sacred obligation to protect the lives of people in the state of New York, to protect our fellow Americans who have the misfortune myself included of living in a state where Andrew Cuomo is the governor. That's what

we're really talking about here. This is beyond just your normal political handle because by hiding that data, by preventing people from knowing what was really happening in the nursing homes, we did not have the chance to say, hold on a second, what's going on here? What are you doing? There can't be accountability for government in general, never mind government that's taken a totalitarian position, which is what Cuomo

has done. He was given these emergency powers for a year by the New York State Legislature, and he was really enjoying himself with it. Telling you what you could do, where you could go, who you could see, so much power and more than any politician has had in memory, right, and the concentration of power over day to day lives that governors of these states who have become power mad, what they've been able to do, what they've gotten away with is an atrocity. Why can't more people see this

and just remember they hid it from you. It was all to defeat Trump. Whatever they had to do, however they had to lie, whatever stories they had to tell, justified. In fact, they're proud of it. At the end of the day. If you sat down with a journalist in a moment of honesty, if you sat down with someone from the New York Times, the Washington Post, he said, you know, how can you have any faith in your

profession whatsoever? How can you have any belief in what you're doing, even what's happened here, they'd say, well, Trump didn't win, did he. Cuoma doesn't matter to them. The nursing home deaths, that's not really their job. Their job wasn't to shine a light on a tragedy that was a man made one, not entirely. I see, I'm not the Democrats. I don't think they created COVID. I don't blame them for all of COVID the way they did to Trump. But I can blame people for saying, you

know what we're gonna do. We're gonna take people with COVID who are seniors whose immune systems are already overtaxed in dealing with the virus and are likely to carry high viral loads and send them back into close quarters living conditions with other seniors who are bart by far at the highest risk of death from this disease. I can hold somebody accountable for that. That is a decision

that could have been made or not. But the resistance, you see, the anti Trump resistance, they had their priorities, and the priority was anything it takes to stop Trump. Cuomo saw that and he ran with it. You know how Sometimes there'll be some celebrity who will get caught, usually in some kind of a sexual impropriety. This has

happened a number of times. Some well known Democrat will get caught, you know, sexually harassing or even in a sexual assault or whatever whatever the allegation may be, and they'll release some statement. They'll say, I have a lot of reflection to do, a lot of thinking to do, and I'm also going to turn around that I'm gonna fight the NRA on gun violence. And they've tried this before. I think Harvey Weinstein even did this. There have been a number of people who have pulled the I did

a thing. Maybe I'm not sure. I'm not going to admit it and really apologize. I'm sorry if you feel upset about it, but I'm not saying I did it. But I'm going to attack the NRA. Ah, that's the game they play. Well. Now, as you know, what's even better than that, what's the bigger get out of jail free card for a Democrat at least up until now, than anything else. I'm part of the resistance. I'm here to take down Trump. Cuomo saw it and he ran with it. And only now after that usefulness to the

left has finally dissipated. Are we are we able to have a real conversation about just what happened here? The person held up by the left as the biggest hero of COVID is act truly the biggest villain. This is the Buck Sexton Show podcast. It's going to be safe because we've really set the goal standard for this nation.

We looked at the very beginning of opening schools in September, we said, let's take the best, the best approaches from around the world. So our kids all wear a mask. For example, our kids are tested, a big sample of each school tested every week. You know, these are the things that I've worked. Our schools are the safest places to be in New York City. So first middle school, and then I look forward to high school. And I gotta tell you, Willie, this whole country has got to

reopen our schools. You know, enough is enough. Our kids need it and they're suffering. You know, really, let's be clear, it's not just academic loss. Our kids are suffering emotionally, and if they're not in school, it's bad for them, it's bad for their emotional development. For a lot of kids, it's it's very, very painful to not have that chance to go to school. And we've we've got to pay

more attention to that. There's some sense coming out of Mayor build A. Blasio's mouth here, at least when he says the whole country has to reopen schools. That's where we are. There is no other position that makes any sense. There is no other good faith argument. There's no oh, but what about but we got to talk but the ventilation systems, but the double masking. But but no open the schools now, not next month, not next fall, right now.

But they have a very clear problem here, and I hesitate to even bring this up because it's so troubling when you really think about it. There are a lot of people, and there's also the system itself, those who work within the the bureaucracy, the apparatus of government control at all levels, federal, state, local. There are a lot of people who have been in positions of authority and power during this and they don't want to give it up.

All you have to do, it's so easy. You take a look at where COVID cases are right now, and all you have to do is see the precipitous drop in the last month new cases on a seven day rolling average. And I'm using like New York Times data, hear CDC data, you know, the gold standard stuff that everyone's always talking about, not going to some blog somewhere and taking someone's word for it. The cases are down fifty percent, fifty percent in the last month new cases.

That's really, you know, impactful, that really matters. So shouldn't there be an why aren't you feeling? I ask you, is why aren't you feeling the enthusiasm out there? The hopefulness. Where's that sense of unfettered joy just waiting, just waiting in the background for when we can finally have our lives back. When they will stop with the wear a mask, When they'll stop. Oh, they don't want you to be able to stop with that anytime soon? Do they? No?

Not safe? Look at what they're doing with schools and understand that this is going to be their approach to everything with COVID as it has been all along. It's not safe. Sorry, people are suffering, they're losing their businesses, they're suicidal, they're abusing drugs, their health is deteriorating, they're

losing their minds. Millions and millions of people across the country are going through this, and they have bureaucrats telling them, yeah, okay, fine, the cases are going down, down, down, and the vaccine is getting distributed, but it's not safe. Well when is it? When will they find finally take their boot heel off our shoulder, When will they say, you know what, okay, fine,

we don't just have unlimited power anymore. We don't get to tell you that your business can't be open, or that you can't go see your family members, or you can't traveler. They're not going to do it. We're gonna have to fight every step of the way because they will drag it out as long as they can. And if you ask me, how long is that, I don't know. But whatever is reasonable, whatever is rational, and it'll be much more than that, it'll go much further than that.

I can assure you. That's their plan. That's what they are seeking to do here, to extend this pain, because it means they can extend their control. They like the control you're listening to the Buck Sexton Choke podcast, make sure you subscribe to the podcast on the iHeartRadio app

or wherever you get your podcasts. I will say one of the reasons that the President has put one hundred and thirty billion dollars of funding and his American Rescue Plan is because he knows that schools across the country need funding to satisfy some of the mitigation steps that are recommended in the CDC guidelines. I talked with him about this this morning, and his concern, as you have raised, that this is deeply impacting women. We're seeing that statistically

with every week and every month of jobs numbers. We've seen it anecdotally, and his concern is about the impact of course on working women today, but also on how well it will bring us back in the years ahead, because if there are fewer women who are in the workplace, there are fewer women climbing the corporate ladder, there are fewer women who are getting law degrees, getting doctorates, and that has a long term impact. So you're right that,

or I should say. What I'm taking from your question is can we get this done if we don't have funding, If we don't have the different components. When he announced his goal of opening the majority of schools, he made clear, we need to have funding because most many schools will tell you across the country or they were waiting for

the CDC guidelines. They want to know how to do it safely, but they don't have They need the funding to hire more teachers, they need more bus drivers, They need the ability to implement the mitigation steps that are going to work for their school districts. Nonsense. Okay, you're hearing it here from the White House Press secretary. The fact that she has that job is really in many ways feels like all you have to know about this Biden administration. But anyway, what she's saying is just is

just bonkers. We need, we need one hundred and twenty billion dollars for schools so that schools can reopen because they have to implement all these mitigation measures. Well, did somebody write it? Did I miss something? Did someone write a check for one hundred billion dollars to private and parochial schools which which have been open all year and are fine. Did did that check get written? I just don't know about it. We need, we need money for

all the money for more teachers. The teachers they have aren't even teaching more teachers. Are they serious? Yeah, if they are. Unfortunately, this is all just now people trying to get theirs. This is teachers union saying, Wow, Uncle Sam's gonna be writing some big checks. Let's get our piece of that. Sorry that your kids haven't been able to earn anything for a year, and they're miserable, and they've been separated from their friends and their development is stunted,

and sorry about all that. But you know, we gotta get a little more OT in the budget. Yeah, we need more more zoom capability. Why is it that teachers are so sacred in this whole process, but the people that are are bringing you your food or opening up the grocery store, or you know, delivering your mail or you know, go down the list. Why is it that we have to take this special precaution for teachers. It's

because they are holding your kids hostage. The teachers unions are holding kids hostage so that they can get as much money out of the taxpayer as possible during this time of crisis. This is the This is like war profiteering, except it's virus profiteering. By the teachers union. That's what's happening all this other stuff. Oh, we need money for mitigation.

Why money for mitigation? Why the science the data doesn't say that, Oh, it's really important that you have kids double mask and put them in plexiglass pods and you rotate one teacher for you know, for five kids every whatever. It is like, that's not what the data says. Kids are at acceptable risk, which means almost no risk from this disease. Acceptable risk. That means that even if they get it, it's okay, they're gonna be fine, and the tea chers who are teaching them are at very limited

risk of getting it from the kids. In fact, the CDC director said yesterday, spread is worse in communities with schools that are on lockdown. So someone explained how it's a good idea to keep schools closed when the communities with schools open are better off from a pure COVID spread perspective. Someone explained that, well, they can't. They have no case to make here. There's nothing that they can say.

They don't know what else they can say other than give us the money, because we need so many more masks. I mean, it's horrible here in New York City, there's just there's people's disposed of masks on the floor, on the ground, on the street, everywhere. It's just trash. It's all over the place. Remember we were told, oh my gosh, we're all gonna run out of masks, We're gonna run out of masks. We're the United States of America for the wealthiest country, the wealthiest society in the history of

the world, of the planet. I mean that is a true statement. By far, We're going to run out of a piece of cloth to put over our mouths. Never mind the fact that there's now a just are we allowed to have the discussion about how effective is a loosely worn bala, you know, a loosely warned bala clava or or a kerchief a bandana over your mouth? How effective is that at preventing you from getting COVID nineteen?

Considering that now we're told, you know, you really got a double mask, are we allowed to ask that question or no? That's where we are, that's what we're seeing here. Can't even ask the question? Not allowed? Not allowed? Just do what you're told, peasant double mask up now, not not single mask? Double mask? And the schools issue. I think people are seeing that this is the canary in

the coal mine. This is a taste of all of the rest of what lays ahead, which is they're going to fight every step of your freedom, the Democrats, Biden, the Fauciites. You're gonna have to just with your with your fingernails, just ripping it with everything you've got. I want my life back, I want my liberty back. As you're saying, oh, bucket's not that bad in my state, Okay, try and fly on an airplane. See what that's going to look like in three or six months with the

Biden administration. Try to try to do business. Try to go for a work trip into a blue state. See what the federal government has planned for you. See the way they're going to raise taxes. Look at the federal policy on schools when it comes to the CDC. What they're saying, this affects everybody in different ways. Every state with a large population center of a major city has been in some form of lockdown, in many cases extreme lockdowns,

and they don't want to stop it. And they also maintain the right to do this again in the future. See that's the other part of this too. We're supposed to be thankful when they finally let go of this iron grip of tyranny around our throats. We're supposed to be thankful for it. I'm furious about it, and I have been all along because I've known these people are idiots. They're not as smart as they think, they are, not by a mile, and they like to tell you what

to do. There is a petty tattletale hall monitor at the heart of the Democrat Party today, the Democrat belief system in America. Petty tattle tales, that's what they are. Where's your mask? Who? What are you doing this? You

support Trump? You caused the virus? Really? Remember when the Red States there were stories, there were news stories written about how the Red States were going to be crushed by COVID nineteen because we don't listen to the science and Red states right, and it was the Blue States that were the models of how to handle this. Yeah, anybody want to revisit those bits of brilliant analysis. But I've seen a lot in advance, that's for sure. I've

seen a lot. And one of the things that I've seen is that they weren't going to you know, there was this whole theory among conservatives as soon as Joe Biden comes into power, everything is going to open and everything's gonna be fine again. And that's the game. I said, No, that's not what they're gonna do. Eventually, they'll give you a little they'll give you a little taste of freedom, and they'll give you just a little bit like a little bird dropper or eyedropper. Rather would you would feed

birds with a little eyedropper of liberty? You know, it's just a little bit, and you'll be so parched for it at that point and say, oh my gosh, you mean I don't have to wear a mask all day long outside only if i'm you know, in the between the hours of ten am and six pm and rush hour. They've actually done that in some place. They have rush hour mask requirements in some countries as as if that makes sense, Oh okay, only certain times of day you

have to wear a mask. But you'll say, okay, anything, anything, please just stop haral asking me with this idiocy. Right, that's where it will be. They've broken a lot of people with this. I can't tell you any people I had saying, oh, you know, I don't want to hear about it anymore. It's not you know, fine, we'll just push through it. Really, tell that to your favorite local

business owners, your small businesses around you. If you live in a city, very good chance that small business has been through hell and maybe he's never going to open its doors again. Maybe if we had all said that we really are the land of the free and the home of the brave. Maybe, if we really were going to decide, don't tread on me has some meaning beyond a flag that some people have in the background when they're doing TV hits, we wouldn't be in this position.

Ask them. Ask the people who refuse to give you back your freedom under the guise of protecting you, how well have they protected you? What have they really been successful in doing with all of this, Show me the proof, show me the numbers. And then when they're making their highly unconvincing case to you, which I can assure you is what will happen, you can go a step beyond that and say when do I get my life back? Notice they won't give you, They say this is all

about data and science. Why can't they tell us right now? When cases day to day for a two week period drop below ten thousand COVID restrictions go away, and we're on our individual You know, you're basically released on your own recognizance, your individual behavior. You know, don't be foolish if you're six day away from people, but you get your life. They won't do that. No, no sake bombs even telling you we don't know when we're going to decide that we're going to give up all this power,

all this delicious power that we've accumulated. It's amazing, isn't it. That's how the status, that's how the authoritarians think. Here she is played twelve. This is the question, as I'm sure is the case for all of you, that every neighbor, every friend, every family member asks at least me in

the street when I'm walking my dog in the morning. Um, don't we want to be straight with the American public though it is we are not in a place where we can predict exactly when everybody will feel normal again. And it has there a number of reasons. One is, even though we will have enough doses for every person in this country, as you all know because we've talked about it in here, vaccine hesitancy remains a challenge. We need to ensure that that everybody who can get a

dose is getting a dose. We all will also need to be masking for some time. We also need to be still taking social distancing measures. So you know, there's, of course, is an understandable question, and I think the President wants things to return to normal, as we all do, but we don't know at this point what that timeline is going to look like. Why not isn't it based on metrics and data? Well, why can't they just determine right now? Why can't they know? Why? Because it's arbitrary,

don't you see? It's whenever they say so. Biden, the Democrats, Fauci, the CDC. They've turned us all into little kids saying, hey, I'm hungry. When when can I have a cookie? Or when can I When can I go outside? When I say so is the answer from the lockdown left? And they look you right in the eyes and they say it over and over again. When I say so, that's when if you say, well hold on, but what about yeah, science? They chant this like it's some kind of argument ender science.

There's no science. And when I say so, but there's a lot of power, isn't there. I'm telling you. I have seen this coming. I knew they weren't going to just open everything up and have a totally different attitude. When Biden came into office, I was arguing, debating with conservative friends of mine for months about this, And here we are. If we allow the Fauciites to continue. You, we're going to be dealing with this misery for at

least another fourteen or fifteen months. That's right. That's where it will receive in the summer. Don't get me wrong, It'll go down. They'll start to let you feel normal again, but then all we're gonna hear about the variants, and then all we're heading the COVID season again, and then you'll be back into it all next winter, and we'll just be on this seesaw of totalitarian health policy madness. This is the Buck Sexton Show podcast. Follow Buck on Facebook, Instagram,

and Twitter. These are unprecedented times for our Commonwealth, for our nation, unprecedented for the whole world. Our nation is in crisis, and it has been for some time now. But we are not without hope. As we begin this new year with a democratic quiet House, a democratic House, and now a democratic Senate. I believe that we have a mandate to finally deliver real relief to working people. And I am ready to roll up my sleeves and

dive into the work ahead. And boy, do we have a lot of work to do, starting with ensuring that our response to this pandemic and the economic recession is strong and that it is equitable. Congress must act now to contain this virus, and that is one of the main things I'm doing down in Washington. It's trying to strengthen and pass the long overdue relief package. Yeah, that's right. We should be hopeful for the coolorship of war and wants you to be hopeful for the country because we

have democrosts in charge in the White House. Democrats that's in charge in Congress, and they have a mandate. Oh, a mandate for the help of working people all across the country. Oh gosh. Yeah, Oh, we're gonna really get it all going. The problem with this is that Democrats aren't actually good at any of the things they promised they will be good at. And that's what we're seeing happened right now. That is what we are going through. Are they good at distributing vaccinations the way they said

they'd be now, of course, not are they uniting the country? Nope. Is the economy looking like it's in some great position. All Joe Biden and the Democrats would have to do in twenty twenty one for us to see a tremet a huge economic boom is get out of the way, end the lockdowns, and don't ruin everything. Basically, if they took a do no harm approach, we'd be in we'd be in good shape as a country. But as you know,

that's not what they're gonna do. They're going to meddle, they're going to harass, they're going to irritate, they're going to annoy in every way that they can. We're using every excuse in the book because they're so sure they're

gonna make everything better. Here, for example, is is Joe Biden out there telling us that, you know, and I'm gonna make I'm yelling no apparent reason here I am, you know, look like um, yeah, I'm sure, get a little tired looking at the prompter, but yeah, I'm the president now, I play Mario Kart with my grandkids, and but you know, yeah, anyway, here he is with how he's going to create seven million jobs, whoo twenty. We

can come back. We can come roaring back. It's estimated that if we buy most economists, including Wall Street firms as well as as as you know, think tanks, so i'm political think tanks left, right and center. It is estimated that if you've we pass this bill alone, we'll create seven million jobs this year, seven not six million, seven seven million jobs. Sitting on a branch eating a lot of acorns. Right, I'm uncle's ranch. Biden's all like,

step into my office because you're the president. Ah here we are. Yeah, seven million jobs. Sure, Joe Biden only knows how to create jobs by having his sons sell influence to China. That's the only the only job Joe Biden has created have been for Biden family members who are selling access to Biden. That's pretty much it. That and you know, book deals for books he doesn't write. We'll have him on this show at some point again. Soon I was like, I like talking to the former president now, really curious to know what he's gonna do next. Let's let's get into some of what some of what he had to say, some

of what the president, I'm sorry I do. I just do that by habits, some what the former president is thinking about what's happening right now. First off, well, you know what, let's have him talk first and foremost about what the news yester or they're very very sombre, very sad news about Rush Limbaugh play thirteen and he love Catherine was He was telling me so many I mean, story after story, how she put up. You know, he's

a very tough period. This period was he was going through hell, and he said that this was he was married. He told me he was married to an angel and the help and the devotion. And I could see it too. I could see it. You could see it when I gave him the award, how proud she was. He was just, you know, something incredible. But he really loved his family. He loved Katherine. One thing I'll say that was always a real standout. The people around Rush who worked with

him who knew him. They were so loyal to him. They really believed in him as a talent, but they also believed in him as a human being. And yeah, of course, mister Snurdley, and while he was still with us, Kit Carson and the rest of the Rush team, including people that a lot of people I don't think, no, because unless you really spend time I'm around the EIB.

There are people that are working on the websites, there are people that are doing things on the production side on audio, and they all knew that they were in every day on that show in the presence of greatness, and they really they really appreciated what that meant and what their contributions could be to that. And for Rush's wife to be there with him till the very end. I never meant to Rush or or his wife, but I do know people that were quite close to them.

I know them people that are close to them very well. And you know, that's one of those things you think about when you're making that choice for your life partner, the person you're going to be with till the very end. This is heavy stuff. This is heavy stuff. I still feel like today. I'm sure a lot of you have this too. It doesn't really feel like Rush isn't going to come back on the radio. I don't know how else to say it other than that it feels like

I'll be I'll be looking. I have become a digital listener to radio in recent in recent years a lot of the time, but I would just be scanning on my computer or on my smartphone, and I would just say, Okay, all there he is. There he is still hasn't really said in yet that we've heard our last Russia Limbaugh show.

It's been doing. He's been on radio almost as long as I've been alive, and so that's just not one of those things that you thought would you know, you never prepared really mentally as a listener, I think for for that day to come. And I know it's so hard. I'm seeing the messages and all the all the outpouring of support for his legacy, but also grief. People are grieving, people are trying to process this in whatever way they can. And Trump, you can tell, had had a particular affinity

for Rush Limbaugh, and Rush did for Trump too. There was a connection between those two men. There's there's a certain, yeah, larger than life quality, but also a a momentousness, a place in history sense that they both had and you could just tell there was a mutual respect there. You

could tell that Donald Trump there. There are very few people that I think Donald Trump believes carry the same the same confidence, I think would be a way to put it, as he does the same self confidence, and Rush was certainly one of them and earned every bit of it. So it was he hearing former President Trump speak about Russia just just a reminder of what we what we got used to, and what we don't have

right now. But Trump clearly thought the world of Russia Lomball and that met Medal of Freedom that Rush got. I watched that as it happened. I'm sure many of you did, and that was a that was a real moment. That was a real momentum anyway, I wanted to get back into what the what the president I had said here, just just one other, one other note. I keep hearing people saying what happens now. I've done a lot of radio interviews and they've been asking me, well, you're a

you're an up and coming guy in radio. What do you think that what do you think happens in the radio world? Saying we try to in all in all ways that we can large and small, carry on the movement. Really that Rush created carry on the the phenomenon of conservative talk radio as a place where we could actually say what needed to be said, where there aren't algorithms shutting us down, where there aren't terms of service being abused.

And you know, we'll talk more about the Facebook situation a little bit, where all those things are not happening, and you can you can talk to people as if you're sitting next them in the car or at home as they're you know, making dinner or eating eating their last meal of the day or in Russia's case, in the middle of the day lunch. Um, you know that that has to continue on. The country needs needs that. There's no one to replace Rush. Ever, it's not a

it's not a thing that is possible. Um it is. It is truly not even really worth asking the question because you can't do it, and you shouldn't try, right, there's no one who'll be able to there's no filling of those shoes, there's no there's no taking up that mantle. But when you add all the talk radio hosts out there who learned from Rush from listening for years. Who befriended him or who are his peers? You know, there's some very big names out there still in the conservative

talk radio world. When everyone continues on with the mission and with the movement all together, we can't we can't replace Rush ever, But I think we can make him proud, and that would be that's my answer for what comes next. Let's make Rush Limbaugh looking down on us from above. Let's make him proud of the work that we do for America as conservatives. And that means people that are like me radio hosts. It means people who are just

believed in what Rush stood for. And we're a part of that family of millions and millions of people all across the country who tuned into him every day for the truth, for connection, for entertainment, and to be a part of something. It's all you had to do, isn't that really the magic of listening to Rush Limball. All you had to do was lend him your ears, and you were a part of something. You're in the freedom height. Thanks for listening to the Buck Sexton Show podcast to

get the latest from Buck at buck Sexton dot com. Well, I saw that he said that there was no vaccine when he came into office, and yet he got a shot before he came into office, and it was already in early November that we announced it, but we actually had it substantially before that, and we were giving millions of shots and millions of doses. So he was either not telling the truth or he's mentally gone one or

the other. And he's getting Actually, Joe Biden's being killed on that whole thing, because even the haters said, we'll wait a minute. You know, this vaccine was announced long before, and I believe he got the shot sometime before January twentieth, which was inauguration, long before January twentieth. So he made the statement that we had like literally quote, we had no vaccine when I came into office. Meany when he

came into office. And he is getting lit up by that one, because even the bed was, even the ones that aren't exactly fans are saying that was a bad statement. It's true. President I'm sorry, I'm going to get better the former President Trump here. Uh, It's just it's one of those habits. I'm still writing twenty twenty on my checks and I'm still calling him President Trump. But I know it's former President Trump forty five saying that Joe

Joe Biden. I look, clearly Biden didn't think that he was going to get away with that as a lie over the long term. It just goes to show you that I think that it's it gets jumbled together in his brain, the talking points, and he just knows, bash Trump, bash Trump, bash Trump. That's all that really gets processed up there. Sometimes for me, the more the more fascinating part of it was how Biden said something that is that is the the equivalent the equivalent of the sky

is green. I mean it was you know, the sky is not blue, it is green. And instead of journalist there were so many of them, I saw them in rhyth them instead of journalists saying, well, I mean what he just said isn't true. We're sure he'll correct that. At some point, they were saying, oh, well, no, it's fine,

he meant blue. What Why Why does Joe Why does Joe Biden get to say something as untrue as there was no vaccine when I came into office, And the immediate reaction of the people that are supposed to be speaking truth to power, the immediate reaction of people who are supposed to be holding holding him accountable. Was Oh, I mean that's fine, he said, he lied, but we know what he meant. This is what they do. This

is how it is. Could you imagine? I I will tell you some days I wake up and I think life would be so much easier if I just became a smarmy, smug lib. It really would. Oh my gosh, I had so many opportunities. Media and everybody in New

York City. They'd see me going on CNN and high fiving bro Cuomo and Anderson Cooper, and they'd say, oh, you're doing great, and we'd love all your all your concern for you know, the the working class and for the uh, you know, for for intersectionality and social justice and all this stuff. Oh wouldn't it be amazing? It wouldn't be amazing to know that you could be not very good at your job. I'm talking about now in the media specifically, not very good at your job, not

very interesting. But you just have to pound the drum the way the left tells you to, don't question it, and not only will you continue to advance if you just have a baseline of competency, but if you make a big mistake. If you you know, you punch out a bus boy somewhere, or you brucing Mark is bus boy? That is there a different term for that? Now? I just you know, in our current era, I've been told that there's so many things that change. Is there a

different term? Do we say a busser? I think busser is the term? Yeah, busser? Now okay, Well, anyway, you know, you punch somebody out or you cause some big problem, but you're a liberal. It's maybe he needs a little anger management. But he's done great work on MSNBC. You know, you know you don't pay your taxes for a long time, or an MSNBC host, it's not Hey, you know you're a millionaire. Maybe said a good example here. You're always talking about how taxes should be high, or maybe you

should pay yours. It's always all. But his commitment to social justice extends beyond Eddie oh Man, wouldn't. I'm sorry, I liked I take myself at this happy place for a second of to live life knowing that you don't have to deal with the consequences that you expect to inflict upon everybody else because you have the politically correct politics. It would just be just be like walking around. I mean, I know it, don't worry, It's never gonna happen. I

couldn't live with myself. I couldn't do it. I'm not even that I can make the argument for the left. But but if I, if I do it for too long, or if I do it pretending that I believe it even as part of it an intellectual exercise, I start to get aggravated. It's it's like verbal kryptonite. It it it starts to I feel like my tongue is catching fire as I'm saying it. But man, oh, I could Hollywood celebrities, everybody. Oh you hear that new liberal Buck Sexton. Oh he's great.

You know his name is a little funny, but you know he's great. He's all. He's on Madou's show all the time. Wouldn't it be amazing? Oh? I know, But I'd hate myself and everything that I'd say would be a lie. So I can't do it. So I can't do it. Um, But what are the what are the Libs going to be focusing on now now that they're they're great? Hate of Donald Trump isn't going to be able to carry them quite as far what is next

for them? Well, Biden insists, insists that he no longer even wants to be talking about Trump, that he is he has no interest in discussing Donald Trump's shortcomings anymore. And I just have to say I don't I don't believe them. I don't believe him. Here he is seventeen. Before we get back into to the audience, wanted to ask just a question about what we've just witnessed. Before the Senate voted to quit the former president in the impeachment trial, you said you were anxious to see if

Republican senators would stand up. Only seven did. How Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the rest cowards? Do you agree with her? I'm not gonna call names out. I look, for four years, all that spending the news is Trump. The next four years, I want to make sure all the news is American people. I'm tired FU. Yeah, that's right. Democrats don't even want to Democrats like Joe Biden, I don't even want to talk about Trump. I don't care about Trump. Yeah, we're

gonna whatever do whatever AOC tells me. She's very very smart, very smart, no joke, no joke, very smart. Here is what happened earlier today, House Democrats introduced a bill to quote this is this is real, ban twice impeach presidents from burial at Arlington National Cemetery and federal funds from going to buildings displaying their names or acknowledging their achievements. This bill is called the No Glory for Hate Act. Now there's there's a number of layers or number of levels.

One is you're seeing the pettiness as well as the psychosis of the Democrats on display here, these elected Democrats in the House representatives. You're seeing what it means for them now to be in a position to do things like this. They there's nothing that is that is too nasty, as I said, too petty. They won't let it go, and they really believe that they have an ideological duty.

And this is what you've seen about Democrats. You see it with the way a lot of blue check liberals were reacting to Rush Limbaugh's passing yesterday, which was just it was so disgusting. I try not not to give it really any airtime even talk about it, because people they show you how honestly how empty and sad their lives are. When they do things like that, someone passes away and you don't you didn't like their work, or

you didn't celebrate them or whatever it may be. Just be quiet, just let it go, you know, don't speak ill of the dead for at least some period of time. I mean not not not the day of Libs can't help it. They're crazy, so they completely lose their minds. They're all saying awful things about about rush Um, just showing who they are. It doesn't it doesn't defame, it doesn't detract from Russia's legacy. Just shows why he was

so important actually to fight against those lunatics. But see the same thing with Trump, and I guarantee you that you know, in whatever period of time it is when when it's finally you know, Trump uh, you know, reaches the end of the line, hopefully not for you know, decades to come. But they'll be horrible about that too, because this is who the left is. They're nasty. This

is the Buck Sexton Show podcast. Join the conversation and message buck on Facebook, Instagram, or email Team Bucket iHeartMedia dot com. He may read it on the show. We were the first state to reject the CDC guidance was which wasn't going to put seniors first? And we said no, no, no, We're putting seniors first. I was criticized by the same types of folks for putting seniors first. Well, guess what,

Florida seniors are glad that we put them first. Today's event, where we have the three thousand seniors that was over and above what that county had been getting. We saw that there was that we needed to get more seniors in that particular county. So we work with some of the local neighborhoods and said, where is a lot of seniors. Where can we go in and knock out several thousand very quickly to get those numbers up. And I can tell you, Laura, there were an awful lot of very

happy seniors there. Today there are a lot of smiles on their faces. People were able to get vaccines. This is one of many things that we're doing to put seniors first in Florida. We're not going to stop until every senior that wants a shot gets a shot, and we're not going to let some of the naysayers slow us down. This was actually not a complicated call to make. This wasn't a hard call to make. This wasn't something that should have been difficult for anybody looking at the data,

looking at the information. Honestly, the answer to who should we get the vaccine to first was always senior citizens or seniors. That's been absolutely crystal clear for a year actually, I mean, the data on this has shown all along that seniors were the ones who are at high risk.

And yet these states did these different things, and the teachers and the essential workers and what's essential and what's not, and all the micro management, all the disastrous government interference in the process of actually getting I mean, I know the governments in charge of it, but they also they

also slowed it down, right. The federal government helped with warp speed to get the vaccine approved and done and there, and then it's supposed to be distributed at the state and local level, delays upon delays, And there's a lesson here. The more a government decides that it's going to micro manage something, the more government decides that it's going to be in charge, the greater the chances, the greater the risks of messing the whole thing up, which is exactly

what we saw. I mean, one of the worst examples of this, or one of the best examples of the worst outcome was in New York where they were having people throw out Think about this, you have a pandemic that is killing people, you have a vaccine that can save a lot of lives, and you're going to throw out vaccine because you don't want it to get in the wrong arms. That's what they were doing here in New York. Thanks Governor Cuomo. Right as we know, the

hero turned villain of COVID pandemic response. I'm wondering, I'm just gonna say this. I'm wondering if we are ever going to see the day when people realize what a smug, little fraud Fauci is a what just a smarmy, little two faced democrat. Fouci was all along, Oh, I'm just here to tell you the data and to science. You know, I don't make I don't make real big decisions. Pass that off to you. I just tell you do this thing or you're all gonna die. And and the government

listens to me. But I'm not actually making the conclusion for you. I'm just saying, here is a conclusion you should make, or else everyone is gonna die. And it will be your fault. Thanks Fouch. Gosh, that that really clarifies things, doesn't It makes everything so much easier for everybody. And I'm I'm furious about what he's done. I really am. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna let it go because the same way that we've seen when the truth, when the truth came out about Fouch, I'm sorry about Cuomo,

and now it's unavoidable. I think we will get to a point where everybody realizes. When I say everybody, I mean smart, reasonable people who actually pay attention to reality. There's you're always gonna have the cult of Fauci out there. Fouci saved us. Really, I was just gonna ask them, what did he save us from the pandemic? No huge numbers of infections all across the country, no very high

death toll. Nope. What what was it that that Fauci's advice resulted in that you can point to and say, see, we got that. I mean, the vaccine was private sector pharmaceutical companies. That wasn't Faucci. Wash your hands, wipe down your groceries. Remember that people were people were actually wiping down their groceries because they were afraid that their groceries were covered in COVID. There's there's still the cleaning of the New York City subway that goes on at night.

I'm sure at an enormous cost for a city that is bleeding revenue and it's tax base all the time. For what Because pandemic theater makes certain certain authoritarian libs feel better about things, doesn't actually make a safer science doesn't support it. But you know, that's that's what we've been that's what we've been through. I'm so pleased that Ronda Santis held the line as I've been saying, and has gotten results of people. I mean, he's he's saved lives.

Cuomo has cost people, has cost lives in his state because he's a thug and a brute and a moron. DeSantis, with the entirety of the Democrat corporate media just trying to trash him and tear him down, de Santis has had results that you could look at and say, clearly, businesses were saved, livelihoods were saved, and lives were saved. You know, there was a big fight I know about

this from the from the White House at the top level. Actually, there was a big fight because the White House was trying to push for it to just be the federal policy across the board to get this to seniors. Just get it to seniors as fast as possible, save as many lives as possible. Is the Trump White House talking about. And Nope, Fauci and the bureaucrats, where we gotta get it to frontline workers. You got to you remember in the hospitals. One of the slowdowns in the hospital system

was when they were distributing the vaccine. There were so many hospital workers who didn't want to get it, meaning the vaccine, didn't want to take it. A lot of them had probably already been exposed and thought that they had it, maybe they knew they'd already had it. But there were also people who just figured, you know, I'm thirty five, I'm gonna just take my chances. I don't

need to do this. But were there were lines of people, I know because my family members were in them, lines of people, you know, thousands long, all across New York City and in similar situations, similar places across the country where you had seniors who were at considerable risk from COVID waiting and waiting and waiting, but Leadership means making the right decision when it's hard. Leadership does not mean doing the thing that gets the New York Times editorial

page to write nice stuff about you. That's not leadership. That's that's pandering, that's partisanship, it's vanity. It's not leadership. And I'm not going to give up on this one. And until people realize that Fauci led us into unnecessary lockdowns that ruined lives, that cause suicides and massive drug overdoses, and and you know, at the down the list, I'd say yes, and did certainly cost Trump the election. But my my bigger concern is for humanity and our fellow

Americans and what we've all been put through here. Until until there is a real reckoning with that, I will not stop. I am not I'm not letting the Fauci lockdown go without at least a reckoning. This is the Buck Sexton Show podcast. Follow Fuck on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Put this one in the Buck called it file. I know it's getting to be a pretty big file. I don't mean to be immodest about it, but call him like I see him, and I call him in advance,

and I get it right. A lot of stuff. Political prediction, elections, that's not that's not my thing. What movements and what power, what people in power will do their decision making. Oh, I can see that coming a mile away. And here with Facebook, this is exactly as I thought it would. It would start to happen in this way Facebook, this

is Yahoo Finance today. To label climate change posts like COVID and voting content, Facebook Incorporated will begin labeling some user posts that mentioned climate change in the same way it has annotated posts discussing elections and COVID nineteen signed. The social network is taking climate related misinformation more seriously.

The labels will direct users to Facebook's Client Science I'm Sorry Climate Science Information Center, an existing hub that includes related news articles, climate change data, and recommendations for pages to follow. The new labels will be added to some posts about climate change, regardless of their accuracy, a strategy Facebook has used widely on other topics to fight falsehoods.

Chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg has argued the best way to keep misinformation from spreading on its network is not just to remove misleading posts, but to offer people accurate information from authoritative sources. The labels are rolling out to users in the UK. It plans to bring them to other countries soon. According to Facebook official blog post, this is the social media censorship in totalitarianism that I've been warning about for a long time, and the next escalation

of it. Notice how I've been saying to you. You think they're just going to use the power of lockdowns for COVID, think again. Now, we also have to understand that part of what we've gone through here in lockdowns is the normalization of social media platforms, of media companies determining what you can and cannot say about core public policy, about essential areas of public debate, And obviously lockdowns and

COVID nineteen response fall into that category. But they say that things are they say that it's misinformation, and then and then they shut you down, they take action against you, and the whole thing is rigged. Friends, It's all rigged. And I really start to wonder, you know, about some of these people who are opposed conservatives, who never seem to have a problem. You know, they're they're the big truth to power people, but they don't ever get kicked

off of Facebook. I've been shut down on Facebook so many times. I mean, and I want to tell you, but there's some people that never seem to have a problem. Oh yeah, really in a free speech but got really nice Facebook following. Is making a lot of money from Facebook. But you know, speaking truth to power of I'm gonna keep a closer eye on that. I think that's very

interesting something to note for later. But I told you that they would expand beyond just the COVID nineteen stuff when it comes to the way that they are using their power. And this is exactly that climate change denialism is now going to be erased from the Internet in the most important platforms and in the most impactful way. They're gonna say that, and people say, oh, they're just going to add context. No, no, no, that's actually not

how it works. They do as they'll they'll hit you with some and then they've done this to me on COVID so many times. What I say about COVID is true. They can not like my feelings on it, they cannot like my predictions. But I don't say things that are demonstrably false about COVID. They're still they still ding me all the time. They have They've hit me for making predictions.

So if I say, here's what I think is going to happen in three months when it comes to mass compliance or something up, I'll get I'll get a thing from Facebook. Oh you've been restricted. You violated our terms of servant. What do you mean, I can't, I can't make a prediction. Nope, not allowed disinformation, they say. Now understand the people that are determining what qualifies this disinformation,

our little left wing activist totalitarians themselves. You know, they're they're a bunch of left wing MSNBC watching, angry tweeting people who hate Trump, who hate the right, who hate the free exchange of ideas. They believe that they have a hold on truth and nothing can be allowed to challenge that, nothing can be allowed to get in the way of that. That's where they are, That's what they

really think, that's what they really believe. And now we find ourselves seeing exactly how they're gonna play this game. What they're going to do next. Climate misinformation is going to be flagged? Now, really, climate misinformation? I just want to know, do you think that they will go back and flag or point out all the things that have

been said about climate by the climate consensus. People that are wrong, do you think, do you think that the fact checkers at Facebook or are gonna run any any checks on the predictions made and say an inconvenient truth al Gore's preposterously stupid movie and then come out and say, you know what, there was some stuff then, so if you're going to cite it, understand you're citing a very

very flawed film. No, of course not. In fact, the real experiment to Rome would be to say, to show that no matter how extreme your predictions of climate change catastrophism, or no matter what you say about how how dangerous climate change is, you'll be fine. They'll never They'll never

shut down your account. Facebook will not de internet you if you will, will not deperson you from the Internet because you say climate change is going to end the world a lot sooner than you know, a hundred years, or you say I think we have five years left because of climate change, five years left before the whole world ends, and therefore any action the government chooses to

take is entirely justified. They're not gonna they're not gonna hit you with anything for that's not misinformation that sounds like science. Yeah, I know. The expanded labels Yahoo reports were announced alongside a handful of other climate related updates, Facebook is adding a new section to its information center dedicated to debunking climate change myths. The myths will be refuted by experts from a number of universities, including George

Mason University University at Cambridge. It's not clear how many people have visited Facebook's Climate science information center to date, though the company has said more than six hundred million people clicked on a similar information hub dedicated to COVID nineteen information. The climate related hub is now available in

sixteen countries. These social media companies are more powerful than governments now, you know in Australia, because there's a dispute over how Facebook needs to actually pay for the news that it's sharing on its platform, right that it benefits from sharing other people's work all the time. In Australia, now Facebook has said okay, no more news for you. I mean, this is remarkable. The Australian government is in a contest of wills with Facebook, and so far Facebook

has said fine, here you go. Facebook surprises Australians with news blackout. Users confused by latest move in the deepening spat over payment for content. There you go, Facebook, opposes legislation by the Australian government that would effectively require big tech companies to pay the countries media outlets for content. The legislation, which is being watched globally and could offer a model for other governments to follow, is working its

way through the country's parliament. To Australian users, the Facebook pages belonging to social media outlets and Australian overseas appeared blank on Thursday, with the message saying no posts yet. So this is what Facebook does. You're going to pass legislation that's going to force Facebook to comply with something. They punish you, they take action against you. You know, when the Terminator movies, when Great Movies, of course is the first two. There's no movies after, there's no you know,

there's just those two. There's no other Terminator movies. I mean there are, but you know what I'm saying. You know, in the fantastic Terminator Movies, there's the Skynet became self aware, and that's the moment that the massive nuclear holocaust happens and humanity is almost extincted everything else because Skynet realizes, hey, we we're pretty powerful here as a computer artificial intelligence, So we're just gonna do what we want to do.

Facebook is self aware the way that Skynet was. It'll take on anybody and it'll destroy anybody that it has to so that it can have absolute power in its domain. That's what they're trying to accomplish. Here. This is the Buck Sexton Show podcast. Join the conversation and message Buck on Facebook, Instagram, or email Team Bucket iHeartMedia dot com. He may read it on the show Liberty, Truth and Great. Here now, roll call Mark. I think we might have

to retire the congolide music too. Here, All right, what's wrong with this one? We gotta we gotta be a little more choosy, we gotta be a little more picky about our I don't mind this one really, Yeah, what's wrong with it? I mean it's got a little spunk, I suppose, but it's it's a little a little a little weird. I don't know. You know, I guess if it was like a bright sunny day and you had a drink with one of those umbrellas in it, you know, little umbrellas. I feel like they don't do that as

much anymore. Yeah, what do you need the umbrella for I'd rather like a slice of pineapple or something. Yeah, it makes it makes it look cool, but I think you put the umbrella in the slice of pineapple, which that just feels like a whole other universe away as I am in in blizzard ridden New York City right now. And actually, and on a serious note, I know when Roll call, it's going to send thoughts and prayers out to everybody and Texas and still dealing with that deep freeze.

I mean, we've got snow here in New York, but we're fine. I know in Texas they got power out. They you know, I'm talking to friends down there who are in a really tough spot. I mean, you can you imagine being stuck in a place where you have no access to electricity or heat and it's basically zero degrees outside. Your home has no heat, you have no electricity, it's zero degrees outside, and millions of people in Texas are in that situation. So thoughts and prayers go out

to all of them. And you know, actually, Producer Mark, did we have I think we had something from Governor. I know we're in Roll. You know what we'll get. We'll get to that story tomorrow. We'll hold that we'll do updates on that story tomorrow because I really also want to try to get either our friend Jesse Kelly ben ferguson one of our Texas based radio host buddies, to come on and tell us what's going on down there, because it is it is. It is tough, tough situation.

So going back here into royal call from it. Remember please go to Bucksexton dot com, Facebook dot com, slash buck Sexton is how you sent us messages on Facebook and Team Bucket. iHeartMedia dot com and I'm gonna be doing for those of you who are going to hear this in time. I'm gonna be doing a Instagram live with Rob Smith around five fifteen Eastern today, a little bit of sort of pre radio show promo, So Rob Smith and I will be joining each other hanging out

on Instagram. So if you're on Instagram, please follow us there, check us out. You can talk to us in real time, you can ascend us messages and we'll be responding. All right, let's get to it. Kristen buck I love your show and I'm lucky to be able to listen daily. I wanted to thank you for being the one to take a bullet for the rest of us, and listening to all the most annoying leftists for their comments and idiocy.

I know I could never do what you do, but I'm thankful how much you go through on a daily basis to give us the full story. Thanks again, and Shields High, Well, thank you so much, Christin. I appreciate you listen to the show on a daily basis. And I have to be fair, you know, the first line of annoying listening to things our our first line of defense against lunatic leftists, and the first guy that has to take the take that incoming barrage is, in fact,

producer Mark, producer Mark. Are your ear drums? Okay? Yes, my ear drums will survive at least I hope so, because if not, you'll need a new producer. Who do you think has the most annoying voice in TV news? Oh? Wow, Joy Basar, good call. Yeah, I think I think that's a solid answer. I think that one she was, She's a comedian. Some people have certain jobs. How did she become a political commentator? I mean, how does something? And I don't you know, I don't like to be mean.

I'm sure she'd say all kinds of media. First of all, she's one of these people to click oh Buck sexted, you know, like his name is like a pod star, you know, I mean, I get it, you know, fine, but really a political analyst? Was she ever a good comedian? And do you know, Mark, did you ever see her stuff? I can't say I've been watching Joy Behar stand up in my life. No. Man, can you imagine someone doesn't

that there's clips on YouTube. I'm sure she does. We probably find some of back in the day, but you know that she's a political analyst. To me, it's just you know, you know, Donald Trump is the worst, and I hate his face and he's awful, you know, the whole. Oh god, I prefer Hillary's voice Hello, which is kind of similar to Joy beharn away. So you know what is jarring to actually hear Hillary Clinton speak because of you? Oh yeah, no, I know. Well, I like to get

it stuck in people's heads. It's like it's like the Baby Shark song. Once you plant it in there, you can't get it. So now every time Hillary walks up to a mic, she does her whole I ain't want to see hello on it. And then it's just hello, you know, it just jump jumps out of people right away. They know that that's actually whatever Hillary saying. What they're hearing is my version of Hillary, which is which is better anyway, So it's less offensive, actually believe it or not,

my Hillary impression less offensive to your ear drums. Then listening to that person actually speak, That's what I'm here for. Let's see. Kyle Rush had the uncommon ability to communicate common sense. He could put into words the thoughts of millions. A man with the power to change careers and move the stock market just by using words. A man with that much power, yet he was always restrained. Rush had

served his life's purpose. He had done what God needed him to do, and God called him home rest in peace to the King and the greatest to ever do it. Kyle very well said, and you Rush was a generous, magnanimous, really decent force in America, and we all miss him. We all miss him. I don't know how we can say it better really than that. I mean, there's some in the simplicity of that. There's so much truth. We

just we missed the guy. And as for achieving his life's purpose, which I think is isn't that really the thing that we would all want to be said about us? Whenever our time comes and we don't know what it is. We all hope to make it into our seventies or eighties or nineties. You know, we all hope to lead a nice, long life. But whenever that day comes, you definitely want those who knew you to be able to say and to know it's true he or she lived

out their life's purpose. TJ. Buck, I've got four words. DeSantis is the way I know. I know it's too far to tell who really has the potential to take the reins for twenty twenty four, but Desantist is leading the pack in my opinion. I listen to a variety of conservative podcasters, some of which are more critical of Trump than others, but one thing that's been consistent in all of them is that they love de Santis, and

I tend to agree. I think the January riot is going to be a litmus test in the twenty twenty four election for Republicans, and any House members or centers that are running for president are going to have some toxicity attached to them, whether they voted with or against Trump.

DeSantis has an advantage of being removed from a second impeachment trial altogether, and therefore he can honestly claim things like it doesn't matter what his opinion what his opinion was, because it had no bearing on the results of the impeachment, or that he was too busy trying to keep his state open in the face of hostile administration from Biden

to care about the impeachment trial. There are lessons to be learned from January six, no doubt, but for the GOP to be able to win in twenty twenty two and twenty twenty four, we have to find a way to come together on our differences around the riot and move on. DeSantis is the way soon. That's a reference to this is the Way from the Mandalorian. And I still can't believe the producer Mark thinks that Star Wars is for nerds. So I'm just yeah, I never said that.

If you like Star Wars like store Star Wars, it's just not my cup of tea. I know, I try to slip I try to slip that one under the wire. Producer Mark is he like, what do you call it when a goalie in hockey makes a great save? Is there a term for it rob them. Okay. I was wondering if there's some you know, when they use the stick and they raise it up. I've never okay, question for you. I've never understood in hockey, can you catch the puck if it's in the air and put it

on the ground or not? If you're a player, or if you're a goalie player a player can They're just not allowed. They can't pick up the puck and throw it to another teammate, but they could place it in front of them and throw it to themselves. So you can catch it in the air, yes, and put it down, yes, okay, but you can't play it with your hand to another player, and you can't play it with your stick if it's above the crossbar on the goal. How. I know, there's random,

but you know we got time today. It's we're in the middle of a snowstorm here. Whynot? How is it fun to be a goalie and I could being a player that skates out there and get to like throw people into that I get, I don't. You don't need to explain that one to me. Right, you're skating all over the place, you're throwing checks, you're doing the stick work and you're hitting slap shots. It seems to me like being a goalie, which just kind of be bluh.

Goalies are a special breed. So I used to talk to players all the time, you know, I was a reporter for the Islanders. The goalies were always the oddest characters. That's for sure. You're not allowed to talk to them on game day. You basically can't make eye contact with them. Even the other players say that the goalies are weird. They're just a special animal, because I gotta assume. Also, if you catch I know they got a lot of pads on, but if you catch a big slap shot

in the wrong place, that's gotta hurt. Oh yeah, gotta hurt. And there's certain very small areas on a goalies body that aren't covered by any padding, Like you can get one up in the neck if it, you know, bounces the wrong way, it happens. I feel like I used to all. I've seen old hockey games where they had a helmet on but not anything covering their face. Am

I Is that correct? The goalie no, no, no no, no, no no no no. The average and the players just these players, I mean, now it's mandated that they have to wear a visor right, which at least covers their eyes, but their faces unprotected. And goalies when hockey first started, there was no such thing as masks. Oh my, they used to play without masks, uh, you know, or helmets or anything.

I always I always telling people, it's like one reason I was never I love bask I love playing basketball, and I loved I love soccer, which I know makes me barely American, but I love basketball, soccer, tennis. And I liked some aspects of baseball. I loved hitting. Hitting is great. I love just crushing the ball, and I was actually pretty good at hitting, but the ball coming at you real fast, I gotta tell you. I was

always like, oh, man, like wait for the pitcher. That to me, because you know they always say, oh, you're fine, You're fine. I had a I had a teacher in It was seventh grade English class who played in a men's softball league in Staten Island in New York. And I will never forget this because I saw his face when he came back in after he was out for like a week, and he caught a line drive with one of those you know the softballs they play with.

They're actually kind of they're like, it's like a big baseball, you know, essentially, And he took a line drive right into the face. He had to have reconstructive surgery on his cheek and on his jaw, and I remembers being like, it's not for me. I know, I don't know. They always say, don't be afraid of the ball and you'll you'll be fine. But I was kind of like in basketball, it hits you in the face, hits you in the nose,

you get a bloody nose, You're fine. You catch you a line drive right into the right into the jaw, and it's a rough day. It's a rough days that or if you're a batter, if the pitcher loses control once and you don't get out of the way quick enough, that hurts. Yeah, and there were helmets, but no one wears like a face guard or anything, right. Some players will have had problems in the past with getting hit

in the face. Do where something that extends to kind of protect their face, But you can't have too much there because you need to be able to see. Yeah, man, I don't know, But then again, you know, you could be really crazy and all and play rugby. So there's there's always the next level. There's actually some some weird

show on Netflix that was sports. It was like bizarre Sports from around the world, and in I think it's in Florence, Italy, they have some Uh it's kind of like if you had MMA, but instead of one on one, it's like thirty on thirty and it's captured the flag. But you can punch, kick, and tackle people to the ground like you can punch them in the face. You can throw a high kick or whatever. It's the crazy I can't remember the name of it, but it was a it was a real I watched the show US like,

what is this? You had all these crazy at talent, you know, And I'm just saying, there's some crazy sports out there that you could probably get in. That one doesn't even sound mildly fun. Yeah, no, any sport, any sport where you can lose teeth. I feel like he's not really my but I know that it happens in hockey. Happens in hockey, all right, TJ as for us, Sorry I got distracted. Ronda Santis. Yes, he's great, done a

fantastic job. I'd love to see the GOP rally around him as a real contender in twenty twenty four because it's results based, and I think that's that's an easy thing for people to get excited about. This is the Fuck Sexton Show podcast. Follow Fuck on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. All right, roll call continuing here, Maureen, Hey, boxer and producer Mark love you guys. So if one six was I'm sorry January sixth was an insurrection? What was the attack?

The assault and the breach of the heart Federal Senate building in the Capitol by violent protesters who were upset that Kavanaugh got appointed to the Supreme Court. That happened in the Capitol. But I didn't hear a peep out of the Democrats over that. Weren't they scared that a capitol building got breached and politicians were at risk? Wasn't that an insurrection? The double standard hypocrisy is getting harder

and harder to tolerate. Head seemed to start rolling when we get the majority in twenty twenty two, metaphorically speaking, no more, mister nice guy. Thanks for all you both do. Maureen,

I know what you're referring to it. They did a kind of a mass sit in in his Senate building during the Kavanaugh thingum that you know, Look, I'll just tell you they would say if if libs were listening to this, what they would argue, or what their response to your writing in would be, is that it was the certification of the presidential vote in the United States capital. There was a lot of violence against police, although it does seem that none of the lethal none of the

lethal violence was about was against police. The only person who seemed to die from actual lethal intent was a protester, as we know. But they they would say that that's that there was a it was a different circumstances. Now, your point about how they're allowed to just flood into a Senate building and make demands, that's valid, and I mean,

you're you're right to point that out. But they would say that it's not a it's look and they wouldn't care if it was an Apple comparison, because they're just using this for as much political leverage as they possibly can. Anyway, thank you, Maureen for right again. Marshall. I woke to the sad news that our voice had passed. My heart

is heavy. It's a bit frightening to think that during this time of political insanity, we the conservative people have lost our General, our counsel, our voice of strength and reason. We needed him now more than ever. No one person can replace his voice to keep his audience and listeners rallied. But I am certain that the day, as the day is long, that you, my friend, have the intellect and the humor to do so. Find them, speak to them as Rush did, and you will command a loyal army.

Be well, stay healthy, and shields high. Well, Marshall, that's very kind of you. I appreciate the thought, and I share your sentiments about the loss of and I can just I just promise you We're gonna keep doing the best show we possibly can every day. That's that's really all there is. That's really all there is to say about that. You know, we're just gonna keep trying to do our best show even though we don't have we don't have General Rush on the front line. That's we

got to deal with that reality. Evan dear Buck. When do you think we hit COVID fatigue? I remember in the early days of all this hearing people praise Fauci for God's knowledge, and Cuomo was praised and everyone was thanking him, and they were even thanking Trump. When did that turn? When did we realize that Fauci was a left wing pawn and that Cuomo? When did we realize Cuomo was going to turn on Trump? I remember thinking, oh, wow, Cuomo's not so bad. He's praising and thanking Trump for

his help. Then on a dime, he started bashing Trump like the rest of them. Did we hit fatigue a lot sooner than we think shields high Evan. I think as soon as it was clear that the lockdowns were not temporary and that they were going to be a semi permanent state, that's when some of us realized, Oh, we have crossed the rubicon here and this is now all political team. Thanks for being her with us back tomorrow she'll tie
